Now THAT was more like it. Rumple grinned slyly. This one was SUPER easy to manipulate - he could probably use her for something at some point. Once he figured out how exactly he had gotten here, of course...

"Books? Books are useless...GOLD on the other hand..." he said, tapping his chin thoughtfully. Yes, he needed to set up a spinning operation in here, but HOW?

Now THAT sounded like a way to get gold, alright! Rumple had dealt with genies before - he could easily find this boy to find the lamp!

"This lamp, boy - have you seen it here in the castle? If you'd like, I can help you track it down...for a price!" he added with a little giggle.

It was so fun conspiring to take advantage of people!

Good girl. Rumple KNEW he'd made the right decision coming to her aid. Swaying these people...what was he going to call them? The snake people? They seemed fond of having snakes on their decorations...was much easier than he had thought. It was practically like taking a baby from a princess!

"What am I called? THAT is none of your concern," he told her bluntly, crossing his arms stubbornly. That was his one Hail Mary play and he was NOT giving it up just like THAT.

Looking at the girl Aladdin asked her "You there! Girl! Have you seen my Princess Jasmine? Or my monkey Abu? Or a Genie's Lamp." Once again for some strange reason though he felt as if he wanted to speak a strange other language. Which was extremely weird. The only languages Aladdin knew was English and some Hindu. Even then, the Hindu wasn't fluent because he had no parents to teach him more of it. Being raised on the streets and all. Speaking of which...

Aladdin really needed to just get these jitters out and steal something valuable! Maybe if he could find the book, and snatch it while no one was looking! The book that he had before seemed valuable since everyone was touching it. Also for some reason Aladdin felt strangely attracted to that leather bound, glowing book. To keep his hands busy he started to fiddle his thumbs around to keep them from shaking. As soon as he was done here he needed to find something to steal!

Before he could focus more on trying to get the magic carpet to work so he could find some of his precious objects, the peculiar man with a creepy giggle spoke up.

Aladdin looked at the man with a slight bit of fright in his eyes. Trying to hide that fact he told the man "Name your price, and maybe we could reach an accord. I don't go making deals with strangers."Using prior knowledge, Aladdin had this man distracted by talking to him. Standing from his newly found magic carpet he approached him casually, making it seem like he was just getting closer to hear him better.

"I can promise you many things! At least...when I find my Genie!" Keeping him distracted using his right hand to motion his eyes away from Aladdin's left hand, he sneaked it into the mans pocket. Feeling around he tried to see if he could find anything of value...Adding in a sing-song, joyous voice he added to the things he could give "I can show you the world!"

Looking back at the others he quickly asked still using hand gestures with his right hand "Also could any of you (including Peter or Beauty) help fix this magic carpet? I really need the help."

What the heck?

Agatha stared hard at the crazy people around the table as they spoke nonsense and she rolled her eyes exaggeratedly before going to take a sit. She was ignoring them all because they were acting so childish it was ridiculously annoying.

Ugh. Kids. Even though some of them were older than her. Nevermind that, Agatha was so much more mature than most people at that school anyway.

She put her bag on the table and would glance sideways at the little crowd over there every now and again. Morgana, and she thought Gryffindors were the weirdos of the Castle... She was surrounded by them in her own Common Room. Sigh.

Putting a sticky note in between the pages of her book Hadleigh closed the book and laid it down on the table in front of her. What was going on around here? Was there some weird game everyone was playing that she didn't know about?

Looking about the common room she heard several housemates talking and one was on the floor talking to a carpet? The first year watched them with slight amusement but also a bit of concern. Why did they act like muggle storybook characters?

Maybe she should ask someone that was um...well acting 'normal'? Or could this be what the meeting was going to be about?

Once he found HIS genie? How cute. The boy thought he'd actually beat out HIM? The Dark One? Rumplestiltskin? That was preposterous! Of course, he didn't know that, and the longer the boy continued to be ignorant, the better. It worked to Rumple's advantage that way.

Ugh, except the singing. Rumple could definitely do WITHOUT the singing, thank you very much.

"I'm a friend, that's all you need to know," he said with a grin. "If I help you find the lamp, my payment will be...your first born child," he told him. You know, the usual kind of stuff. He needed children to raise into his minions and continue his gold spinning operation!

This was good! The creepy old man was more focused on Aladdin speaking, and not him rummaging through his pockets! Finely finding a few things he quickly pulled out the items, while listening to the payment he offered. Replying to him in a rather creeped out voice "My first born child? Erm...sure? But! On one condition. The Genie does NOT count as this child." Just to make sure that this man wouldn't try to find any loopholes and snatch his Genie away from him. It was rather odd how HE, probably the creepiest, least trustful man in this room, was the first one to offer Aladdin any help.

Also something seemed rather off about him that Aladdin didn't like "Also! Another quick deal that must be dealt with is, this deal will only happen if you complete your end of the bargain, AND if we are successful in finding the lamp. Ok?" Aladdin was still trying to make sure there was no loose edges to this deal that could be potentially cut off. Aladdin didn't want to have to lose his first born child if he couldn't find Genie. That would be distressful because how would he explain it to his wife when that happened? 'Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, our first born child is going to this creepy old man for who knows what because I had to find my Genie Lamp.' That wouldn't make that situation any better whatsoever.

Making sure that the man was distracted, Aladdin looked down at his palm to see what he snatched off this guy. In his hand there was two coins, and some pocket lint from the looks of it. The pocket lint was obviously worth nothing...but the coins on the other hand. Those seemed rather valuable. Both of the coins were gold. These type of coins didn't seem like normal currency to Aladdin. Definitely not any type of coin he has ever seen before.

Something weird was definitely going on, and Brooklyn almost just turned right back around and went back to her dorm as she’d seen the weirdness going on near the study tables. The notice had said or else, but she was willing to risk that if it meant staying away from more arguments with crazy people who thought they were fictional characters. Not even interesting ones. She honestly suspected nobody here knew what was interesting if it hit them in the face. Maggie had looked at her weirdly when she’d told her her kitten’s name, after all, and Tywin was way better than a boring name like Molly. Now more people were acting like the crazy head girl, and house meetings weren’t worth dealing with that. Except it would have meant more work getting the head of house on her side, plus Professor Bellaire might not like her as much if she wasn’t there either. That meant she had to stay.

She stayed over near Hady, though. Strength in numbers, and she looked just as confused about why everyone was going crazy. That meant she probably wasn’t crazy, and she let her blue eyes roam around the room until she found Ethan too. He didn’t look crazy either, and hopefully none of the crazy people chose to talk to her. If they did, she wasn’t going to pretend they weren’t crazy. She hadn’t gone along with the head girl’s act, so she wasn’t going to go along with them either. She knew better, and fairy tales weren’t real. That meant fairy tale characters weren’t real, and besides, her housemates definitely weren’t fairy tale characters. She knew that for a fact, even if she hadn’t talked to most of the weird ones before they’d gone crazy. Dot hadn’t been acting crazy in Herbology, anyway. Hopefully the crazy wasn’t contagious. She’d much rather stay with her knowledge she was a Lannister, well, and Brooklyn Andrews, rather than think she was some stupid fairy tale person.

Hady's gaze wandered over everyone for a few minutes taking in all the craziness. What was going on here? She'd seen them all in some of their classes and they had all seemed fine. So what exactly had happened between then and now?

As she looked around her eyes landed and Brooklyn. She wasn't talking or acting weird. Grabbing her book she slipped from her chair and made her way over to Brooklyn's table. "Do you know what's going on around here?" Hady asked quietly gesturing around at the others in the room.

"Hey, Mordaunt." The Slytherin butthead greeted his prefect as he entered the...Well, Cutty sort of thought of it all as interpretive dance. There was much posing and strange placement of people, not a lot of footwork and crazy voices being done. If not interpretive dance, this had the raw stench of theatre of some kind.



Cutty stopped beside Agatha to see an apologetic Bev and the confused French kid getting more confused because apparently Caleb had learned to play headgames over the summer. Well done. Nonetheless..."Don't make any sudden moves. If you don't move, they won't see you. Joost like a T-rex." Was he serious?

"Of course not! The genie is the genie," Rumple agreed with a nod. He wasn't stupid - he wasn't going to try and use THAT as a loophole. Rumple had other loopholes he could use in his agreement should it come to it.

"And I agree - we BOTH must get what we want in order for the deal to be done," he told him with a grin. With that, he walked over and started to write out a contract with the quill and parchment some Snake Person had left lying around on a nearby table. "I'll draw up the contract now and you can sign if you feel it's...satisfactory," he told him. The boy wouldn't find any loopholes - at least, none that the BOY could find. Rumple would find them, because he ALWAYS did.

Rumple liked this kid. He was smart - not as smart as Rumple, because no one was - but smart. He really hoped he wouldn't try and back out of the deal - he didn't want to have to destroy him.

Looking at the odd man, Aladdin walked over to the table and looked at the contract. Snatching the pen from his hand, he was about to seal the deal by signing when another question popped into his head. Lifting up the quill from the page before signing Aladdin asked "What happens if I never would get a first born child? Also, what is it that you want with the child? Hmmm?" It was a good thing he quickly thought of those.

Keeping his mind on things he kept trying to think of any more loopholes that might happen. Finally Aladdin came up with another idea "Also, you cannot try to prevent me from having a child, and you can't kill the girl that I like who might be the mother of the child for the deal. Ok?" Hopefully that made this guys life a whole lot tougher with those two folds. Maybe Aladdin worked out all the kinks in this guys plans. Praying that he did he kept the quill in his hand, and put the tip on the paper preparing to sign it.

Rumplestiltskin chuckled slightly. "Oh, you'll have a child," he told him certainly. He'd charm the contract with magic to seal the boy's fate, of course! And what did he want with the kid? That was for Rumple to know and Aladdin to never find out. He didn't need to concern himself with the fate of a child he wouldn't know for more than about five seconds before Rumple came to collect.

"It's none of your concern. Nothing bad, I promise," he said, crossing his heart. His BLACK heart. "The child will be well cared for and raised with all the luxuries it desires, I promise," he told him. There, he added it in the contract, SEE? "And whoa, who said anything about killing? I care nothing of the girl you marry - you do whatever you do, all I ask for is you hold up your end of your bargain. All magic comes with a price!" he reminded him.

So far the deal was pretty good. Only one thing could've made this better...

Aladdin casually leaned over the contract so that way this man couldn't see what he was writing. Using his slyness like a fox before his name he wrote onto the contract 'And this man must serve Aladdin for the rest of his life, and will never be able to tell a lie ever again.' There, that sweetened the deal even more in Aladdin's favor. Staying leaned over he then wrote at the bottom of the scroll his signature.

Rolling it up, Aladdin handed the scroll back to this man and said "There, we have a deal." He then extended his hand for the man to shake it so that way the deal was then even more official. Which would also hopefully seal it binding this man to server Aladdin. Also then since he wouldn't be able to lie they could finally get some answers out of him. It would be about time to learn who he truly is.

Brooklyn was still waiting for the healer and probably Professor Bellaire to show up and start the meeting or whatever it was they’d wanted them all here for. She really didn’t think it was to watch everyone go crazy. At least, she hoped not. She kind of wanted Professor Bellaire to see the others acting stupid and like storybook characters though. That’d be kind of funny, ‘cause she was pretty sure the professor wouldn’t go along with it. She didn’t want lots of points taken away or anything, but at least she’d have known somebody wasn’t crazy. Somebody agreed with her that the act was stupid. She could only hope, or she would seriously find somewhere else to go that was less weird. Obviously their common room wasn’t safe, unless the craziness meant those students couldn’t get back in if they left.

It was something to find out, but they’d have to leave first. She wasn’t going to be the one to lure them away. “‘Parently people’re going crazy and thinking they’re fairy tale people,” she’d whispered, leaning closer to Hady as her dorm mate had asked her the question. She really wasn’t afraid of confronting them if they talked to her, either. The main thing is that she refused to go along with the crazy. She didn’t get anything from going along with it, so she wasn’t going to. Maybe, as long as she knew there were others who agreed with her, they could stick together.

Except she’d turned dubious blue eyes to the boy who had spoken, even though she wasn’t sure if he’d been talking to her and Hady or the other girl who was nearby and looked just as unimpressed by the crazies. “They’re crazy. Not dinosaurs,” she said clearly. And besides, she hadn’t really moved in History of Magic and the crazy head girl had still seen her. So staying still was stupid. It wasn’t like she was going to tackle anyone or anything anyway. Maybe hex them if they tried to annoy her, but so far the crazies mostly were just interacting with each other and they were left to watch like a weird movie was unspooling in front of them.

Shuffling her feet quietly against the floor the first years gaze went to the others around the room once more. They all really were acting rather crazy. Maybe they'd eaten something or somehow a spell was cast on them? Why would herself, Brooklyn, Cutty and that other girl be alright though?

Chewing on the inside of her cheek in thought her attention was caught once more by the girl beside her when she heard her speak. "Yeah I've noticed that. It all started with the head girl...maybe something weird is going with them all. Hopefully the healer or one of the Professor's can figure it out."

Which she noticed still hadn't arrived. Hopefully they'd show up soon so they could get this meeting started.

Agatha took deep breaths as some of her housemates kept on acting ridiculous. Urgh, honestly, they weren't little kids anymore! Why on earth would they want to act like children now?

Then Cutty and some first years were commenting on them too. At least she wasn't the only one frowning upon that ridiculous attitude. T-Rex? What was Cutty going on about now? "Be quiet, you two!!!" The fourth year snapped at the two who wouldn't shut up (Gregoire and Caleb). "Honestly, you're not children anymore!" The first years were acting more mature than them, Morgana. "So annoying." She rolled her eyes and turned away from them to try and ignore them more effectively. She faced the two young firsties (Brooklyn and Hady). "They're not crazy, they're immature. They're acting like silly little kids. Just ignore them."

Crazy and not dinosaurs?



Why'd it have to be one or the other? The way Cutty saw it, if one were crazy on might as well be a dinosaur as in either case both were bound to imbue the characteristics of variety amongst themselves and extreme late reaction. Besides, multitasking was right up their alley as Slytherins who put their minds to the task.

Andrews would figure this out eventually. For now, one thing at a time as she seemed inclined to only be able to digest so much.

Or doing performance art under the urging of Professor Glendower. That would've been Cutty's adhered to guess because it had all the hallmarks of the terror of the theatre for him. If Gregoire and Caleb would've been in make up and wigs he surely would not have been feeling so well. The more logical guess would have been that they'd both succumbed to a misfired (or not) spell or potion. They were, afterall, at a school for magic. Ever never inclined to share insights of this variety, however, Cutty kept silent.

Let Happygoody do all of the yelling. It was her not-so-secret talent.

Aladdin casually leaned over the contract so that way this man couldn't see what he was writing. Using his slyness like a fox before his name he wrote onto the contract 'And this man must serve Aladdin for the rest of his life, and will never be able to tell a lie ever again.' There, that sweetened the deal even more in Aladdin's favor. Staying leaned over he then wrote at the bottom of the scroll his signature.

Rolling it up, Aladdin handed the scroll back to this man and said "There, we have a deal." He then extended his hand for the man to shake it so that way the deal was then even more official. Which would also hopefully seal it binding this man to server Aladdin. Also then since he wouldn't be able to lie they could finally get some answers out of him. It would be about time to learn who he truly is.

Rumpelstiltskin had seen every trick in the book - including this one. "What did you write?" he demanded, taking the contract back from him. The boy had signed it, but Rumple hadn't yet...and after seeing his addition, he wasn't about to either!

"What is this?! Trying to pull the wool over the eyes of The Dark One?" he cried. Did he really think he'd be able to trick HIM into being his servant? Fat chance of that happening! And now Rumple was just ANGRY.

"The deal is off. If I find this genie before you...you'll wish you'd never been born, boy!" he vowed. Yes, Rumple was now on a mission - he was going to find the Genie AND he was going to defeat him and pay him back for this trickery!

No one tricked Rumpelstiltskin! No one!

To make Rumple's mood even worse, now a young girl was snapping at them. Who did she think she was? His mum? He raised a dark eyebrow and smirked.

"Who do you think YOU are? Addressing ME, The Dark One, in such a disrespectful tone?" he asked her, crossing his arms moodily. She did NOT want to poke the sleeping beast, no she did not. Was she not aware that he could do terrible, terrible things with his dark magic??

Hmph.

That could've worked out a whole lot better. Sadly, the man, who now claimed to be 'The Dark One', noticed his added part to the contract. Taking the quill again in his hand, Aladdin grabbed the contract from the Dark One, and set it down on the table. "Fine. How about this then. I just scribble out that part right there-" Aladdin then scribbled it out with the quill and ink. "-And we then stick to our original contract. Does that sound more like a deal now?"

Picking the parchment up he then handed it back to the Dark One. Sadly, the peanut gallery was now actually talking to them. Before the Dark One could reply he walked over to the peanut gallery...

"Now, now peanut gallery, we're all friends here, are we not? How about you three just sit here quietly while me and this man do our business. Otherwise I'll use a Genie's wish to get rid of you." Aladdin said with a wicked grin flickering across his face. That was only semi-like him! Was this man's attitude actually rubbing off on Aladdin? This was even worse than his normal self! If he had to admit that, then you knew it was bad!

Still he wanted to make sure the peanut gallery would stay quiet. Hopefully the Dark One and Aladdin could still work out their little contract. Hopefully the peanut gallery wouldn't rudely interrupt them again. Not forgetting about the man, he walked back over to him. But...

Before he did...

He made sure that he'd get something from the newly formed group. Looking at the most advantageous and distracted one, (Hady) he put a hand on her shoulder, and gave the most stylish of smiles in the world. Though it may seem weird, Aladdin had pretty perfect teeth, and hopefully that would be enough to distract her from his han reaching into one of her pockets.

Okay. That’s it. Apparently the area had become a stage for all sorts of fairy tale characters that Ethan can’t concentrate anymore. Shutting his book loudly, he opened his mouth to get the attention of everyone when Cutty decided to join them. His greeting was returned with a nod, as he eyed the other Mordaunt join the younger ‘normal’ Snakes.

Wait a minute.

Did he actually miss a memo regarding the ‘Be a Thespian for a Day’ shindig? Probably one that is the brainchild of one Professor Glendower? They were all okay when they arrived, and then suddenly they all jumped into action. Did he miss something while reading his book? Probably. And…psh. Merlin forbid. Hapgood is now with the group, and she decided to engage the nutsos. OKAY. Bring it on. This should be f—

Oh? Peanut Gallery? Agatha? OF COURSE! Hahahahaha!

Ethan sat back, opened his book and placed it over his mouth and nose. Peanut Gallery. Good Merlin, Gregoire was totally scoring some brownie points from his prefect. That was awesome, funny, and SO Agatha.

After leaving her office in the hospital wing, Healer Murdoch stopped by the house points hourglasses before making her way to the Slytherin Common Room. She was pleased to see that the snakes weren't in last place, however she was not happy to see that those lions were ahead of them by a mere 88 points. It was like last year was haunting her all over again, and that was something she was not about to let happen. She was not going to let her house lose to those lions, and she was not going to let Flamsteed decide what she wears to the end of term feast.

As she stepped into the common room she found it to be empty of students. Good hopefully that meant they were already in the study area waiting for this meeting to get started.

Glancing at the notice board Cece seen the notice she had posted about the meeting.

What the hell?!

What was Bellaire thinking when she so blatantly vandalized her notice? Yes, this was nothing more than outright vandalism. And by a professor of all people. And what would make that woman think she was even invited to this meeting? Cecelia Murdoch did not need any help from the likes of that woman to get her snakes motivated that was for sure.

After making a little change of her own to HER notice, Cece went to the study table area where she found several students already gathered. Standing in the doorway for a couple of minutes she witnessed some of the students acting... stranger. If only they put as much effort into their studies as they did into goofing off. "Alright everyone, time to settle down and take a seat. This house meeting has officially started." Meaning they all needed to pay attention and stop with their nonsense.

Belle had decided to wander off to a stack of books nearby. She didn't answer to the name of Beverly because obviously that wasn't her name. Books were more interesting than strangers. Flipping a few open she decided to take the ones on potions since her interest seemed to spark on those specific ones.

At the sound of a more mature, ready voice she turned around.

Oh, a meeting?

How interesting, why hadn't she been invited? It was all okay, she was here now. Finding a seat, Belle settled her new books over her lap. Which one would she read first? Healing potions or potion ingredients.

Time to settle down for a meeting?

WHAT meeting? A meeting to ban her from existence, all thanks to the icy powers she couldn't even control?

Elsa frowned at the lady then headed toward an empty seat. She patted it a few times...and then the arm rest, too. Would it turn to ice? It didn't, so she breathed a sigh of relief then sat down. Leaning over, she asked the person next to her, "Do you think a snowman could survive in here?"

Her poor friend. Where was he anyway?

Peter was so enjoying all the madness that was going on. He even took a seat, put his legs up on something. Probably a chair and just watched. Did not say anything just watched. Though like most things. Adult have to ruin it. And look at that. An adult was telling them to to settle down and take a seat.

Peter stood up and looked at the lady.

"Come on Lady. Don't stop the fun. It looked like it was just getting started"

Peter said smiling. This was the most fun he has had at this castle yet. Can't find anyone he knows. But this is a good distraction.
