While waiting at the door you might think the Divination professor would have a tiny office due to the location, but you will soon see has you walk through the door a very spacious room set up by Professor Morgan. The room is set up in soft pinks, purples, and white décor and you quickly notice the ylang-ylang fragrance to help relax as well as stimulate awareness. You will notice more relaxing furniture in the office instead of the standard desk and chairs. There is a very comfy floral couch for her visitors to sit in as well as a corner nook with some fluffy pillows to lean against. On the wall you might notice a nice student drawing that she had hung up at the end of last term.
Flowers, the latest issue of the Quibbler, and a few muggle gossip magazines are always easy to find in the office, as well as her Seers Monthly. Professor Morgan always has her stack of favorite divination books sitting on her shelf. The welcoming room is always a great place to have a cup of tea, come for divination help, advice, or just pop in for a visit. She will always be eager to see her students and coworkers. Just watch your step; her fluffy little kitties, Gemini and Aries, may try to play with your robes or shoelaces.
OOC: Professor Morgan can’t wait to interact with students, but please do not post in this thread until you have been invited into her office. Please go to the seating area outside of Professor Morgan’s office and knock on the door. [
Sitting and reading her quibbler Cassie bounced her foot a bit, well at least until she heard a knock at the door. Looking up she sighed, why must people be so formal and knock. She was certainly thinking about putting sign up about just coming in. Getting up she headed towards the door but stopped, something stopped her and she turned, "Aries get down off that book shelf right now." She sensed him up there and he was going to get hurt.
Grabbing him before opening the door she grinned widely. "Hellllllllo Emmylou. How are you?" It was nice to see her students and she always loved visitors. "Won't you come in? Would you like some tea or hot chocolate?" Holding the door open with her foot as she held one of her cats.
Emmylou stood right up as Professor Morgan walked out of her office. She had a huge smile on her face. Most normal people like herself wouldn't get so happy for seeing their professor or better yet visiting them. She liked to think that she wasn't normal and she really wasn't because she could do magic and muggles can't but that didn't mean that they were bad people. Emmylou shook her head lightly. What the heck was going on in her brain? She felt like it was all over the place right now.
Emmylou waved at her professor, her huge smile still plastered on her face. "Hiiiiiii!. I'm amazing! How are you?" Emmylou bounced on the balls of her feet in excitement. The blonde nodded to the adult and walked into her office. "I would like some hot chocolate please." Emmylou loved tea but there was hot chocolate being offered and she rarely got to have hot chocolate.

Cassie went back into her office as Emmylou followed, "Oooh that's soooo wonderful!" She loved to hear when her students were doing good. It was great to know. "I am just totes fabulous! The day has been so nice and the beginning of term is always just filled with excitement."
Beaming she flicked her wand for the Hot Chocolate to be made. "Very good choice. You can never go wrong with chocolate." She adored the stuff, but today was a tea day, but she would be having a bit of chocolate. Pulling out some fudge from her desk.
"So Emmylou what brings you here today?" Handing over the cup of hot chocolate she was super ready to listen.
Reading her quibbler Cassie had made her self a cup of tea, it had been a crazy day and she had a lot on her mind. So the best way to get out of things on her mind was reading the gossip of others. Yes, this was the best past time that she could think of. Well shopping for shoes was the best past time, but this was right up there s well. Hearing a knock she got up and went to the door. Opening it she grinned, "Hello, won't you come in? I have tea and hot chocolate." Visitors were always fun!
OKAY. So Eden BEAMED. Hot chocolate--right on! She loved that stuff. She slipped into Professor Morgan's office, blushing nervously, but took a seat and just....smiled.
Okay. Now that we were here--WHAT WAS EDEN GOING TO SAY? The girl just felt so tongue tied right now. She eyed the drawing on her wall and then glanced back at the pretty Professor Morgan. "Hi." Well. That was better than nothing, Eden.
"I just wanted to say--" and she took another deep breath. "That..I really enjoyed your class. And I actually felt good at it." This was just such a first for her. She didn't even TAKE Divination back at Durmstrang, so she was quite glad she had signed up for it here.

Totes. Emmylou couldn't help but giggle because it reminded her of her Uncle Jed he would always say that to get a laugh out when it was silent at the dinner table. She wondered how he was doing and what he was doing because she hadn't heard from him in ages.
Emmylou beamed at Professor Morgan. "I mostly just like hot chocolate and those chocolates with the raspberry filling inside. I like candy that's sweet and sour because it the fun side of candy where chocolate seems more on the serious side." The fourth year smiled and rambled. If there was a candy candy Emmylou would be the perfect professor for it.
"I'm just going around and visiting my favorite professors and then I'm gonna go meet the new professors and welcome them here." Emmylou took a small sip of her hot chocolate and made a 'ahhh' noise. That was some good hot chocolate.

Cassie took a seat on the cough and watched the girl. “Which would you like to have dear? Tea or hot chocolate?” She could certainly say no to both, but why they were the best and Cassie just loved them both so equally. Hearing the girl say hi she couldn’t help but tilt her head and smile encouragingly.
“Oh really? I’m just soo glad you liked it. I felt that maybe most didn’t or just didn’t understand it. It is some advance Divinations, so I get that some might struggle more.” She was very happy the girl liked the class though her next comment made Cassie tilt her head. “You felt good about it?” She looked at her a few more moments.
SNAPS.. she got snaps
Yes she did, “That’s ah-mazing, it could really mean that you have the gift for Divination.” She snapped again, this was wonderful.

Pouring Emmylou a cup of hot chocolate she handed it over. “It’s a very good choice. Chocolate has many benefits.” Plus it taste very good. Sitting down on the sofa she smiled at the young lion. “I do hope you enjoy other things than chocolate though.” Healthy food was very important as well.
“Well it’s very nice of you to want to visit. I always enjoy visits.” So sweet of her to want to visit. Taking her own cup of hot chocolate she blew on it and sipped it. “That’s very nice of you. It’s always so nice to welcome them. You should see if the elves have some extra cookies to take to them.” Treats were always nice.

Eden thought for a moment. "I think I'll take the hot chocolate--" she said with a grin. That sounded LOVELY. Chocolate was the best thing ever! She then frowned a little, though--what?
"I thought loads of people liked it, professor!" she said with narrowed eyes. "I mean--I though people enjoyed it. I know my friends did--" Connor. Layla hadn't seemed to enjoy it buuuuut Layla didn't enjoy a lot of things. "I honestly can't wait for next class! Will we be continuing with the crystal balls?" She hoped so. It was kind of interesting!
A GIFT. And she was SNAPPING at Eden?! WOW. The girl blushed and tucked some of her hair behind her ear a bit. "Well thanks--Professor Morgan." She beamed and felt a little proud of herself, eh? "It would be cool to have that gift--it's rare and stuff, I know--" HEH. "It must take a lot of focus and YEARS of practice and stuff, right?" She figured that Professor Morgan had to be like...AMAZING and stuff.

Cassie hadn't been in her office she had a runny away cat that she had sensed was up to no good near the Astronomy Professor's Office. So she quickly left the office to fetch Gemini and now she was on her way back.
Stopping she fixed her shoe that had slipped as she walked quickly. As her green eyes lifted back up she noticed someone at her door. Had she forgotten to put a sign up saying she'd be back? "I am so sorry, I had to leave quickly, but I hope you weren't waiting too long."
Flicking her wrist with her wand in hand her office opened. "I hope you are having a wonderful day Ian, would you like to come in for a tea or Hot Chocolate?" Grinning she headed in and set Gemini down near Aries.
Ian followed the professor into her office. He wasn't really thirsty, but he didn't really want to be rude. Professor, perhaps some water? he wasn't terribly worried about waiting. It wasn't like he didn't have free time. As he entered her office, he was comforted to see that her office was similar to the classroom. He wasn't sure how to start the conversation, so he decided to just thank her for her time. thank you! professor for taking time with me.

Chocolate was always the choice of the kiddos, not that she minded. Chocolate was the choice of hers too on most occasions, though she did love her tea. “Hot Chocolate coming up” Flicking her wand and the Hot Chocolate began heating and stirring, finally coming in place in front of Eden.
Loads of people liked it? This made Cassie smile a bit, “Well I hope they did. I love teaching it.” So many seemed off topic or not serious though, she just wasn’t sure. Plus the shaking of her ball was just.. She didn’t even want to think about it. That poor child getting points off, she had been too harsh maybe. “Even if she one or two liked it and learned something then I’m doing my job.” She knew not everyone could learn the skills for Divination, but some would.
It was rare, but people did have it and finding the ways to open it up and use it. “Practice and dedication are keys to opening up ones gift and seeing everything that is there to see.” No matter what form someone practiced if their mind wasn’t open they wouldn’t be doing any type of reading. “Well yes it does. I had been practicing since I was very young. My family has a line of seers my grandmother being the closest, she has taught me everything I know. My parents practice divination daily.” Morning tea readings started when she started drinking tea. “If you are that interested though it becomes fun not work and practicing just becomes a happy time to do what you love.” That’s how she felt about it at least.

Water? She tilted her head, “Yes of course water is a fine choice.” Not one that she was used to, but to each their own. Filling a glass and handing it over to him Cassie took some tea for herself and sat down on her couch.
The boy seemed bit off and she figured it would be easier to get comfortable. “Never a problem Ian, I love visitors and helping my students.” She was always pleased to see them. “Now what can I help you with?”

Ian looked awkwardly around the room as she retrieved a glass of water for him. He did it more to be polite than anything and a glass of water seemed the least troublesome. When she sat down on her couch, Ian looked around and chose a seat as far on the other side of the couch as he could get. He didn't want to seem overly comfortable, because he was completely nervous. How did one start a conversation about fitting in?
Well, professor. First off, I'm sorry for missing class. I'm dealing it's some stuff and I was speaking to my head of house. Thank you for saving one of the crystal balls for me. This is one of my favorite classes and I was determined to do the homework. I was pretty excited about it when I saw we were working with crystal balls. he took a sip of water! that turned out to be too much and he had to lift up his chin and allow the water to slide down his throat. It felt for a moment like he'd swallowed a ball as it traveled through his esophagus in a clump. He must of looked like an idiot. He blushed and looked down at his trainers. How was he ever going to finish this conversation. He felt like an ickle firstie and kind of foolish.

Eden giggled a little and waited for it to be all done before taking it in both hands and blowing lightly on the top. The last thing she needed was to burn her tongue and then talk like an IDIOT for the rest of the day. No thanks.
She sipped it gingerly and winced. HOT. So it needed a few more seconds to cool.
Had she mentioned Professor Morgan was awesome? She was. Eden liked her a lot already. "Yeah--I get what you mean. Touching lives and all that stuff--I've never really felt all that smart or anything--despite being placed in Ravenclaw this year-but..yeah. I felt kind of...competent in your class." Eden smiled, very genuinely, and wanted Morgan to know that this was a lot for Eden...to just...start talking about this stuff.
Her tongue dipped into the liquid slightly--OKAY. Cool enough now. She sipped it lightly and bounced cheerfully. Since when did Eden BOUNCE?
"It seems so intricate--and loads of people say it's all cads-wallop--but what I saw in my crystal ball was TOTALLY there--I didn't make it up!" her blue eyes had widened and she was gesturing with her hands all big. "I saw my dog--and I saw some parchment-" IT WAS GREAT. "You'll probably read about it in my homework--since she hadn't handed it in yet and all. "I really want to try again. And I want to have the same images pop up--is there any way I can get that to happen?" Or was it completely impossible?

Cassie got comfortable on her couch and blew on her tea as Ian spoke. She hd noticed he wasn't in her class, but being the first one of term she wasn't fully sure of the ones that exactly dropped the class this term from last. Not that she wished anyone would, she wanted all her students to be there, but she understood. She smiled at him with his words, [b] "I'm glad you are excited about it. Crystal Balls and Scrying in general is fascinating topic.
"Have you tried some readings Ian? Since you missed class you might have missed a few tips. Really try to empty out your mind and let focus find you, don't try to force focus or you will never find the connection. Also, this is more advance divination so don't get frustrated at first." It took practice which she was now good at.

Believe me a seer who's talent is to hear animal's. Well you don't make many friends with the inner eye or even without." They both sort of looked down upon her gift. This was exciting though, she was doing well in the class and thought she didn't in others. "Wonderful Eden. The more you practice the easier it's going to get."
She just knew she'd do a wonderful job!
"Practice in the room of Serenity anytime you would like. The Crystal Balls are stored there and it's a perfect quiet place." She just loved that room. It was just so calming. "Well that task is hard even for the most experience witch, but before you begin think about the objects, sometimes it helps your inner eye know what to look for, but like I said that is very hard and I'm just thrilled you got a reading the first time without trying something trickier She wanted them to try, but didn't want to see them disappointed if it didn't work.

Ian nodded. Yes ma'am. I tried to look in the ball. I even used some yoga breathing exercises I learned from my mum in order to calm and center myself. All I got was some yellow mist. It did fill the ball, but nothing really came into focus. He took some sips of his water, his thumb gently wiping up and down on the condensation as a way to distract himself from talking about this. She mentioned emptying his mind, so he decided to ask her a question. How do you empty your mind, when you can't get something off of it? I really want to be good at divination. It's such a cool thing to do. I know muggles don't believe it. Even many witches and wizards think it's rubbish. I believe though. I think this is the most amazing class at Hogwarts. I especially like the way you've changed things since you came in. Plus, your classroom was nearly always the warmest one last term.

Eden looked wow-ed but this. "You can hear animals?" she asked, eyes WIDE. Wow. That was--that was just the coolest ever! "Ahh--but you're so nice--I bet you have tons of friends!" she said with a nod. "This is only your second year here?" she asked curiously. She seemed to be MADE for teaching, though? "What else can a seer do? With ...the sight?" Besides passing it on to the YOUTH.
And then Professor Morgan got a GRIN. "I--I hope so." She said, sipping on her hot chocolate. "Maybe by the time I graduate--I'll be really good--" hehe. Wouldn't that be something? Oh her Mam would LOVE that and just think it was the coolest thing ever. Muggles were so cute.
Aaaand yeah. She confirmed what Eden already thought--that it would be hard. SIGH. "I will try. But I can't make any promises." She said and she just sipped on the yummy drink some more. "Thanks for...speaking with me. You're really nice, professor." BROWN NOSING, YES? Hehe. She smiled and tapped her fingers on the mug gently. "I need to see the Serenity Room for myself--and practice. "

Cassie sat listening to Ian she couldn't help but smile. "Yellow mist is good. Any reaction with the Crystal ball is good. This is an advance form and I might have jumped a bit ahead." She felt bad for that and was thinking about changing her next lessons because of it. Maybe they weren't as ready as she thought. "You'll get it though, just keep practicing." She knew if he was working so hard it was only a matter of time.
"Well that takes practice. The mind is a hard thing to clear and it takes time to really do it. If something is really bothering you though I find it nice to write it down. I write out my thoughts on parchment and then burn it if I don't want anyone else to see. Other ways would be to take a walk, listen to some music, or even meditate." She found those ways very reliable as well.
He was just so sweet. "That's great that you think so Ian. People just don't give Divination a chance to understand it. When things are hard to understand people just jump to calling it wrong. I know you do a great job! You work really so I know you will be great!" He was getting encouraging snaps for sure!

Cassie chuckled a bit, it was always interesting on what kind of response her animal gift would get. "I can, I have since I was a little girl. It's always been a fun gift." She always enjoyed being able to know what was going on with her creature friends. No matter what others had thought of it while she was at school. "Oh.. I had a few, but I bet you do as well." She had spent a lot of time alone while a student, but it was mostly her own reasons why. "Yes this is my second year here. Does it show?" Maybe it did, especially doing the scrying to soon. "Seers can do different things, some are better at figuring out past reasoning, others can see future events, there are many different talents that a seer can possess."
You certainly can be good at anything you put your mind too. Hard work does not go unnoticed." She remembered working hard in all her classes, but especially in Divination. Sipping her drink she smiled, "Thank you sooo much Eden that's super sweet of you, but I wouldn't call it nice, just trying to do my best as a professor." She always loved when her students visited. [B] "The Room of Serenity is a wonderful place to practice. Anything you would need for Divination is there. You are welcome in anytime.

She knew if he was working so hard it was only a matter of time.
Ian saw the professor's smile and felt better that she said the mist was good. He also was comforted when she said that the lesson may have been a bit too advanced. He would try a bit harder soon, wanting to see what he could get using the crystal ball. Then, she provided him the greatest encouragement he could possibly get. She said he would be able to do it. It meant she felt he had potential in this field. He thought too, it would help him explain magic more to his mum. Thank you professor. It really is exciting. I thought when the mist filled the ball I was really close. And I appreciate the confidence you have in my ability. He meant it. He had lost some of his confidence when the feast thing had happened, but he was slowly getting back into a groove.
When she mentioned that clearing one's mind took practice, Ian nodded. He couldn't imagine some of the thoughts racing through his mind allowing themselves to be pushed into the background, but he would have to. He wouldn't be able to handle it if they wouldn't. I like the idea of writing the thoughts down and casting them into the flames. I'll try that later.
Thank you very much, professor. He remembered a question he had and asked. Professor. How do we handle our family members who know we are magic users, but don't understand? I'm muggle-born, a term I'd never heard until I arrived at Hogwarts. No one in my area is a wizard, that I know and so the summers are a bit challenging for me at times.

Eden was in awe. "So you know what they're saying?! And you didn't want to go into Creatures or anything? You'd probably be SUCH an asset!" she said, setting her mug down on the desk and looking at Professor Morgan with her wide, blue eyes.
She blushed and shrugged. "I do...but I do miss the friends I had at Durmstrang, too." Eddie Darcy...oh boy, she missed that boy most of all. And not hearing from him in a long time--yeah, it was sort of eating at her right now. BUT she quickly shook her head, coming back down to earth when she asked if it showed--"No! It doesn't. I actually just asked a friend to tell me about all the professors--" she said with a nod. "And yeah." Nice way to end a sentiment, Eden.
Seers could do all of that? Eden just found this SO interesting! How come she hadn't known all of this before, eh?
"Well. you're a great professor. And one of my favorites so far." She beamed and stood up. "I should be going--I have SO much homework--" she had to draw Bulby! Hehehe. She hoped it came out okay--maybe she would go see Professor Hottie Walton... >__>

She sat quietly listening and smiling. "It did mean you were very close, but something was getting in your way with the connection between you and the Crystal ball. It only takes a small distraction to lose that connection. Even now after all my practice I still struggle at times." She wasn't afraid to admit that at all. It was just normal. "It's one of my favorite ways to get things off my chest and forget about them." No need to carry around so much negative just burn them away.
Her brow did raise at his question. It wasn't one she had personal experience with. "Does your family understand? I know for some it's harder, but if they understand and love you then it shouldn't be a problem at all. They will except anything. If they don't, then most the people I know try to help educate them into understanding or they just use it sparingly around their family if at all to help make things easier." She knew that wasn't the best answer, but it's all she really had. "You know my grandmother works as a muggle psychic. She is very well known and loved by the London community. So even though muggles don't understand it and most don't even know it's around, they want it to be. So they go to people like psychics to help." It was interesting to her that they would. "Can you come to Diagon Alley to be with your friends from school during the summer? No student can use magic outside of school if they are underage, so you at least have that knowing that you aren't the only wizard not able to practice." Giving a soft smile, she didn't want him to be discouraged.

She chuckled, because she had heard it all before. "Well it's a chatter, but it's the visions that are more clear. I can see what they are about to do, so for instance my sweet cats over there. They can't get away with anything. I catch them every time. " She never missed a beat when it came to those two and they always tried. She just shrugged and sipped her tea, "My calling was Divination like most of my family. I love it." She couldn't see herself doing anything else.
"Of course you do. How couldn't you. Friends are something very special and if you had close ones at your old school you will always miss them, but there is always owls and holidays." It was always so nice to see friends even if it was just for a quick visit. "I hope they at least told you good things." It wouldn't be nice if someone wasn't saying good things about them.
"That's very sweet of you to say Eden." Oh she was leaving already. "Well it was very nice of you to stop by, come by anytime." She did love visitors.

Eden just nodded and smiled as she stood up. "That must be nice. At least they don't cause trouble--" she glanced over at the cats and waved. How nice. They were nice, yep.
The Ravenclaw wanted a calling. She frowned a bit, just thinking about it, but she thought it had something to do with animals. She felt the most pull in that direction, at least. She wished it be a bit more clear--what she wanted to do--but she still had time to figure things out. SHE DID. She was only fifteen! Going on sixteen.........
"Oh...they did, Professor. " She smiled. "I haven't heard a SINGLE negative thing about you--don't worry--" she said with a nod and she began to walk towards the door. She would be back, she was sure. "Also, thanks for the hot chocolate--you make it really good--" YUMMY. Now her tummy was satisfied. "Thanks, Professor Morgan! See you around!" she said as she beaaaaamed as she waved and then walked out, shutting the door behind her.

Ian was very encouraged by her tone, and cheerful spirit and overall attitude. Maybe he wasn't such a failure at this at all. Thank you for the encouragement. Sorry to have bothered you with this.
When she asked him about his family, he fidgeted a little bit. His family wasn't really a big deal, but his dad wouldn't let him talk about it around the rest of the family. Said they wouldn't understand and they would mistreat him. Ian didn't think that was right, to hide who you were just because you were different. Then there was the whole secrecy from muggle law thing. Well.... He began. He began to twist his hands in his lap and looked at his knees. ummm....I...well you see.....it's not exactly.....I don't know. My mum and dad are ok...at least they say they are. But they said I can't say anything to anyone. It's almost like their ashamed of me. And then....well....I know it's important....and I don't want to say the Ministry's wrong and all.... and then he sort of trailed off. When she asked about Diagon Alley, he nodded excitedly. Yes ma'am... And then he remembered. Well...I mean they did this year, but I don't think I'll have any friends to spend time with next year. I made a complete mess of things this year and I haven't any friends to go see anymore. This part was completely and thoroughly humiliating and Ian lifted his left hand to his mouth and begin to chew on his thumbnail.

"Ian dear you are never a bother. I enjoy talking with my students, getting to know them, and helping them." She felt she was doing all three right now with him. Sipping on her drink she kept her encouraging smile. "You know it's very normal to feel frustrated at first with Divination. It's very hard subject and the pieces are complicated. I use to get frustrated as a child. My parents were so good at it and I wasn't, but I kept working at it until I got better." Now it was just part of her.
She gave him a sad look as he talked. The poor boy seemed so upset and torn by his family. She couldn't imagine. "They are just trying to protect you. Muggles, they don't understand. I've seen it, when they don't understand they are scared and scared makes them shut down instead of explore. It makes them defensive. It's not really their fault. Even though psychics aren't considered wizards or witches to most, they still say it's dark and some will be mean to my grandmother who is only trying to help." She continued to smile, "I bet your parents love you very much and they are just trying to keep you safe." Yes the ministry, the secrets, but she knew why that was important as well.
Her frown formed as he talked about friends, "There is nothing true friends won't forgive. If you apologize and are true to that apology they will forgive. If they don't, maybe they weren't true friends anyway and now your path is open to find those true friends. I wouldn't shut myself off from finding friendships just because you made mistake. That's not fair to yourself or someone who might be in need of your friendship." She fully believed everything happened for a reason.

Ian smiled weakly at the professor as she provided continued encouragement. It was nice to feel like someone listened to him and was willing to take the time. Once again, he expressed his thanks. Thank you, professor.
When she spoke about wizard/muggle interaction, specifically about his parents, he nodded. Intellectually, he understood the need for secrecy. He'd seen the difficult time people who were different experienced, but emotionally, it was still a tough pill to swallow for the boy. Then he wondered to himself what would happen if he dated and married a muggle. Would he have to hide that side of him. It was all so confusing. Somedays, Ian felt like he wished he was back to 'normal' and he'd never heard of Hogwarts. I know ma'am. It's just tough sometimes. I'm sort of just venting. It's been a tough year for me and I really am glad you've allowed me the opportunity to speak my mind. Even if it is muddled and not quite all there. He took another sip of his water.
When she tried to reassure him about the true friend thing, this one was tougher to deal with. He really didn't know if he'd ever be able to heal that particular relationship and one broken relationship had impacted virtually ALL his other friendships here. It was very difficult. He didn't have anything he knew to say but Yes ma'am. He sighed and looked up hopefully at the professor.

Cassie had been feeling off, sniffling a bit she made some tea and sat in her little nook to read her favorite magazine. Right as she was about to sip her tea a knock made her jump. "oh, ouch"
Standing as she tried to dry the spot that the tea spilled on she made her way towards the door. "Coming" Stepping over a running cat she finally reached for the door.
"Hello" beaming at one Ravenclaw Prefect. "Jasmine, what a wonderful surprise. How are you? Would you like to come in." Stepping to the side so that the girl could enter. She always loved visitors.
Oh she was there. Good. Jasmine smiled as Professor Cassie opened the door. She was always so pleasant and full of positive energy. That was exactly what Jasmine needed right now.
"Hello Professor Cassie", Jasmine said as she stood up. "I'd love to come in. Thank you." She followed her Professor into her office. "I'm fine. Well not really. That's why I'm here. I was hoping you could help me sort out a few things." She clearly hadnt been doing such a great job at working things out on her own.

She felt bad for Ian he was at a hard age and she didn't envy anyone hitting that age. Trying to find yourself was one of life's hardest tasks. Some don't ever find themselves and others do right away. Herself had taken longer, so she could understand. "Ian it's fine. You can come speak to me anytime you are feeling down or need help with something." She was just happy to try and help. "Many wizards come from the muggle world and do wonderful things. Some Wizards leave us to live in the muggle world and do fine. My brother is married to a muggle and works as a muggle. He's happy as can be." She wasn't sure she agreed with SKy's way of doing things, but love was love and he was happy.
Placing a hand on his shoulder to comfort, "Ian it will workout you just have to have faith." He was young and children fought about the most random things, so she was positive whatever this was would be fixed.

"Oh?" Cassie turned on her heel hearing Jasmine say she wasn't fine. That wasn't good. "Would you like some tea or Hot Chocolate dear?" That was always the start of feeling better, something warm to drink. Pouring herself a cup of peppermint tea she kept her eyes on her guest.
"What seems to be troubling you?" She hoped it wasn't the advances of her lessons and meeting. She knew they were too hard and she felt bad that a few got up and left the SNAC meeting. She should have just followed to books on what type of magic to use where.

"Some tea would be nice thank you,",Jasmine replied. She didn't know where to begin or even how to begin. "It's not really related to Divination, it's kind of personal. Well it is related........indirectly." Jasmine figured that it would be best just to get to the point. "Do you remember Cristoffer Strand? Well we had a.......relationship.......he was my boyfriend. When he left school suddenly last term, he didn't tell me anything....didn't say goodbye. I haven't heard from him since then. This was proving to be very difficult, Jasmine hadn't really opened up to anyone about this before.
Taking a deep breath, she continued. "I loved him very much. I still do and I haven't been able to let go. I feel that he didn't leave willingly. He wouldn't have. Anyway, I have been dreaming about him lately.....a lot. It's his face I see when I look in the crystal ball. I don't know what all this means. I don't know what to do." That was an understatement. Jasmine wasn't sure what she expected Professor Cassie to do about this, but just getting it off her chest was helpful. Cris had broken her heart and time had not lessened the pain any. Jasmine still believed that he wouldn't have left her without being forced to. Maybe she was just being naiive. "I'm sorry to dump all of this on you. I just thought you might be able to give me some direction." Jasmine looked up at Professor Cassie with a mixture of sadness and hope on her face.
