Sophia closed the door behind her and made her way to her own desk. "Have a seat." She motioned towards the comfy chairs across from her desk and got comfortable in her seat. So he transferred in from Beauxbaton and wanted to learn about animagi.
She clasped her hands and rest her chin on them as she surveyed the young boy in front of her.
"Your name is quite a mouthful Mr.Strike-Galbraith but tell me, why do you want to learn about animagi? What do you hope to gain from this?"

Ceorlic followed behind the Professor and plopped into the chair across from her desk. He set both of his arms onto the arms of the chair "That wasnae even all of it Prof." Ceorlic joked, but also was serious.
He tried to put on a smile while the Transfiguration Prof observed him. It turned out to be small and awkward. So he just went on with his answer.
"Ah dinnae mean tae sound conceited, bit a dinnae ken whit else ah kin learn aboot animagi." The fifteen year-old lifted one arm from the chair and rubbed he back of his head. "A've read a' aboot th' Famous Marauders. Aboot Rita Skeeter , 'n' even Minerva McGonnagal. Ah ken that werewolves ur different, 'n' howfur tae identify an animagus tae. A'm mair interested in howfur. Ah ken it takes a lot o' patience 'n' solid wirk, bit that's it."
He never put much effort into anything, reading did not take effort, and if his
Eyes strained he'd close he book and take a nap. Also patience, Ceirlc was sure he had a Ship Load of that stuff. So he'd take that time to lean about becoming an Animagus if he had too."Whit ah hawp tae gain fae it's some peace 'n' quiet. An easier wey tae git awa' fae bothersome problems. A'm waantin' a bawherr mair freedom, 'n' something tae be picked oot o' a lairge crowd fur."it took him a moment to think over what he said...did she catch any of that? "I mean, I want twa things from this. Peace, and Freedom to get away from things, but I also wantae be different. I'm not all that great as I am now, and I want to be known for something." Ceorlc nodded when he finished making his case.

Sophia listened...intently.
It was a lot of stumbling and bumbling around but finally he got his point out and she was glad he did. That almost touched her...well it did..just a smidgen.
"Well then, it's too bad you're a Gryffindor Mr. Striken-Galbraith..." Or something like that. She'd get it in due time. "You have ambition and I like that. We'll make something of you alright, and it will be something to admire."
She uncovered the tin on her desk and revealed several tropical sweets. Usually these stayed covered and she didn't share them with students but he deserved one."Have a sweet."

Ceorlic May or may not have heard something about Ambition from the raggedy hat at his sorting. He was too busy with other less important thoughts. Maybe he threw the hat off? Out smarting the Hat. Maybe he should've been a Ravenclaw too. "House isnae that important tae me I guess." He shrugged, probably lying a bit to her, and to himself. Who was he kidding!! He's loved every second of being a Lion so far. Loud Head Jimmy Flamsteed was a riot, he could be a riot if he cared enough.
Guess telling her that he wanted this for better stealthing as well wasn't needed
He smiled a better smile this time at her. Excitedly accepting one of the sweets. He popped it into his mouth. Mmmm this was a fun flavor...he couldn't tell what though.

"Well it most certainly should be, or rather should have been." She got up so she could stretch her legs and give her office a little stroll as she addressed the misguided yet promising young man before.
"The house you get placed in Mr. Strike-Galbraith, molds who you will become in the future. Your house is like a frame or like a potter and you're the clay. It is very important. You would have done well in slytherin."
Did he like the sweets? He could have one more..but just one. She handed him a pineapple flavoured one.

How would she know? Did she pay attention to his sorting? He didn't.
Ceorlic stayed firmly in his chair as he watched The Professor stride around her room, and explain to him the importance of House. About how it molded you and all that stuff. He silently nodded in agreement to her. Although his opinion was vastly different. The experiences you have defined you as a person. Not where you go to sleep at night. He took the second sweet from her, this one he could tell was pineapple. So she had tropical treats? She was a Summer Bonny wasn't she? No point in asking if she had a Pumpkin Pasty.
"Whit does bein' in Slytherin hae tae dae wi' animagi Prof?" If he came off as a bit rude he did not mean it. "Tis juist that they ah mentioned afore 5 oot 6 animagi wur fae Gryffindor."

Oh...he really was a Gryffindor wasn't he? Not at all the sharpest tool in the box but that was okay, they usually started out that way. She could fix that though..or she'd try to.
......"Nothing..for now." But clearly he was embolden by the fact that it had been done by five Gryffindors prior, no doubt he was referring to the marauders, so now he wanted to to join that list. See just one of, not trendsetting, not blazing a trail for others in follow in his footsteps.

| Not the Clothes he's wearing now (so as to not freak Bellaire out) Mom says I have no sense of direction, so I packed my bags and right.
This room suddenly was less amazing, and more Eerie. Ceorlic sucked on the Pineapple treat with a bit of nervousness. if one could hae a treat like that. He wasn't certain why Professor Bellaire was so intent on telling him he was a snake. He was not so easily brain washed. Speaking of Wash, he should probably get some of his clothes cleaned...they had picked up some dirt during some of his adventures around the Grounds. The Grounds were great by the way, a Tree to climb by the Lake, The Lake, and a Tree House. Ceorlic had never been in a Tree House...Unless you count the small Cabin in the woods he lives in though that is just surrounded by trees...THE POINT IS! He is not easily brain washed.

She was... she was! Ceorlic did a mental Fist Pump. This terryfing Professor was going to teach him more about Animagi! Maybe even some pointers, and what not. He was getting really excited. No one would understand him for weeks!!
All would have ended well if it did not just occur him that Prof. here, did not just consume the most important night of of Social Interaction with his peers. Well his excitement came and went like that ."Mibbie Saturday Morning?" He turned around to Protest, also to bargain with Bellaire. See he was sacrificing his Friday Evenings which weren't as great as Saturday's because Friday your exhausted from your classes at the end of the day.

That book will have things for you practice on your own."

Well, that was a disappointment. So it was against the rules and if caught he would be turned into a rat or worse. "Well, thanks for the info and the book. I will return it when i learn some of these spells. I best get practicing"
If he stayed any longer he would probably be turned into a rat. Awesome but unnecessary right now.

Well, that was a disappointment. So it was against the rules and if caught he would be turned into a rat or worse. "Well, thanks for the info and the book. I will return it when i learn some of these spells. I best get practicing"
If he stayed any longer he would probably be turned into a rat. Awesome but unnecessary right now. Sophia eyed him over her hands and then she gave him a little nod. "You are welcome....."
And maybe he didn't deserve it yet but the boy was showing interest in her subject, so she would reward him accordingly. "Have a sweet and close the door behind you when you leave....." And another thing... "That book better get back to me as it was offered to you....new..and clean."

And the books on the shelf would already be alphabetically packed right? "Fine, professor." She looked the woman head to toe herself and then went over to the bookshelf.
She just really wanted to get out of here without getting another month of detentions.

Maybe Miss Banner had learnt her lesson after all. Or maybe she was just tired of spending her afternoons in the dungeons with her.
Sophia was glad to be free of those as well. "Be sure to dust the bookshelf before packing the new books on as well." That wasn't asking too much was it?
