The Headmistress followed the quiet Ravenclaw into her office, nearly bumping into the girl as she appeared to be staring around, and standing around as well. "Please, have a seat," she called out, hoping she wasn't in some kind of daze. The things that happened at this school...

Annie herself also sat down, and clinked a few teacups as she tapped her kettle to get it going. Couldn't have an afternoon discussion without some tea.

Samantha sat down and placed her hands in her lap. "Headmistress, I've come to talk to you about career options. Earlier in the term, I gave Professor Flamsteed a gift of a comic book that I drew myself. He said that I should look into a possible career that involves my love of art and that talking to you might be a good way to go about it," she explained to the Headmistress

Oh well, they would get right into it then! Good good. Annie poured out two cups of tea and set one across the desk for Samantha. She took a minute to sip hers as the girl talked, and so that she could think of something to say... about art.

Well.

"I can't say I know much about careers involving art," she answered honestly. "My husband was an actor, of course, but to be a sketcher or a painter... I don't know which direction to tell you to take." The Headmistress gave the Ravenclaw a polite, but awkward, smile. "Have you given thought to seeking additional training for your, er, drawings?"

Samantha thought for a moment. "I have thought about an art degree in college but I know only of non-wizarding schools that teach that sort of thing. What would be the wizarding equivalent?" she replied.

She took a small sip of tea and gently placed the cup back down on the desk.
