Madame Puddifoot's is a quiet tea shop where you can meet up with your friends.
The tea shop is laid out in a typical English tea room fashion. Lace doilies cover each table on top of the flower patterned table cloths. In the middle of each is a small container with a tea light candle, ready to be lit for those on a romantic retreat. The windows are half covered by fancy net curtains, leaving just enough room at the top to see over and down Hogsmeade's High Street. Little flower and heart covered cushions are on each seat awaiting your arrival.
Sapphira Puddifoot keeps the shop this way because she has to. But she has no desire to look upon all the fancy decorations herself, which is why you'll most likely find her in the back room. She'll come and serve you, but make sure you know what you want to order as she doesn't have all day.

Milk and cookies?? What kind of dates had she been on? Because Chance had never heard of dates going like that.... Well maybe late night ones watching a movie or sitting by the fire eating milk and cookies.... Now that sounded amazing! "Well, you..." Chance started, not sure what to say. He grinned and finished, "Ive never heard of dates with milk and cookies, but I bet I can beat those dates!" Because, competition.
What was he going to use the exposions for? Chance had many things he planned on using the explosions for... most Beezey probably wouldnt approvve of. Deciding it best not to tell her what he was going to use it for, Chance changed subjects.
"Well, come on. Show me some of your stellar pick up lines!" Chance said grinning widely at her. He didnt think that she had any but hey, he had been wrong before.
"I could try another of my smooth ones if you wanted." he said wiggling his eyebrows at her. "I mean, I am wooing you and all."
Bianca missed those milk and cookie play dates... What a shame she was no longer six. The Gryffindor smirked at C-Squared and shook her head. "I bet you can't because milk and cookies are the best. We also don't have little plastic dinosaurs or dolls." See. This date was not living up to the other ones already. Given, she was just joking but she would not mind in the least if he actually did have plastic dinosaurs or dolls.
WAIT. Did he just change the sub-- Oh pick up lines.
"If I show you all of them, you might use them on others," Bianca pointed out before wondering if that sounded too much like flirting or being jealous? Ech. That had never bothered her before, so why was she thinking about it now? She laughed anyways though because he was wiggling his eyebrows and the sight was quite comical. "I mean you can try but I highly doubt it'd be better than mine." You know... if she had any pick up lines.

You could eat a dozen and not even be half way full." She knew him to well. And his stomach. She grinned and laughed again. "or a actual meal? Butterbeer though. Yes. We should" Really? Dessert before the meal was always fun though. Hehe.
He looked up at her giggles. What was she giggling about? "Something funny?" He couldn't help the grin, he did like her laugh. Merlin what was he even thinking when he had thought Abbi could have been better. He really felt stupid now thinking about it. Cinna just got him and accepted him, didn't compare him to anyone else like she did, plus she was so much hotter then Abbi.
She had gotten advice too he laughed, "I thought it was just programmed into girls to be good at this stuff." Honestly they all seemed to be about the first dates, makeup, dressing up, all that weird stuff. He really didn't understand any of it. His brown eyes went back to the menu and grinned, "You know me so well." She really did though. "This place is a bit fancier then the Broomsticks, that's probably why it attracts more couples." Just a thought though, maybe he was wrong seeing a few Alumni over with Sophie and all.
So she agreed to the broomsticks awesome, "So let's go with the cheesecake here. Does that sound good?" If she wanted something else she could have it. Closing his menu he leaned back a bit, "So mum sent me an owl saying she thinks she can get me a tryout with the U17 league this summer." This was exciting news for him, he hoped Cinna would feel so too.

Grasping on to the topic of the DADA homework Claudette shook her head slowly. "The questions part was relatively easy. The charm I haven’t gotten the hang of yet. I can't seem to master the right wand movement." There wasn't any shame in admitting that because it was the truth and Luc would understand.
Smiling, "I love ice cream. We could order a banana split to share. They always come in a large size." Sounded like a good choice.
Luc rested his chin over the knuckles of his closed fist while he listened to her tale. Blinking, "Wow.. that sounded fun." He was going to have a hard time not imagining the Librarian in a santa outfit from now on. Hehe. "Ohh, that always happens the first time." Bright idea forming, "If we're lucky with the Lake freezing again, I could help teach you. I can ice skate myself." As for his break, "I did for a little bit before my Uncle Charely caught me. He's not a fan of me skating over the pool when it's frozen."
Shrugging, "My break was pretty good. I got to babysit my cousins for the first time alone.. Much easier now." Grinning more. "Also visited my parents.. before coming back home." It was easier mentioning them now despite the different feeling. Luckily they had homework to talk about. "The wand movement is pretty hard.. especially when we're also expected to try it without speaking." Sometimes being an older student was a real pain. "How about we work on it together some more later? It'd be great if we can both do it wordlessly."

"Awesome! We'll share a banana split then. I'm sure the shopkeeper can give us a portion that is big enough for two." Claudette hoped. It was nice to find out that she and Luc had things in common.
Luc’s offer to help her learn to ice skate if the Lake were to refreeze immediately caused her to blush. What was with her today? "I'd like that." She gave a nod as she looked into his eyes and explained. "Getting up some speed isn’t the problem. It’s when I try to stop that I fall over flat." It was so frustrating. "You're uncle Charely thinks you’ll fall into the pool right? That's what my mum always worries about."
Detecting a vibe when Luc mentioned his parents Claudette almost reached out to squeeze his hand in sympathy but not being sure how that would be received she focused on the babysitting instead. Families were tricky. Hers wasn’t exactly perfect either. "Have you got some babysitting tricks? I usually babysit my sister when my mum is going away to things and my sister always manages to stick me in trouble by the end of the night."
Smiling enthusiastically Claudette said rolling her eyes "I know Professor Romanos has big expectations in us. Do you think she’ll mind if we practice the charm in one of hogsmeade shops? Without getting caught of course." Claudette knew just the shop. But only if Luc agreed.
Hey Chance was lucky. He was finally on a date with Beezey. He grinned and sat up in his chair a little taller. "Okay so one cheesecake and one apple pie crumble?" He asked and looked around for someone to take their order. He didn't really see anyone. Cocking his head at Beezey, he thought to do the only thing he knew to get a waiter/waitress attention. He lifted his arm in the air. He felt silly so he only left it in the air for a few seconds before dropping it back down.
He could wait for someone to take their order anyways. Just meant more time with Beezey. "So you've never been here?" Chance asked while noticing Beezey play with her bracelet. "Oh that's a nice bracelet." Chance said. Speaking of jewelry, chance grinned big and put his elbows up, showing off his cuff links proudly. "See anything familiar?" He asked with a wiggle of the eyebrows. "Why yes I am wearing your cuff links you gave me for Christmas." GRINNN
This date was going great so far! And Beezey was scared! Pffftttt. He had to admit, not to Beezey, but he was a little nervous too. Even though they acted like they were practically together, it's scary turning something good like they had into something more.
As it turned out, kids would not leave if she pretended to be too busy here in teh backroom to take their orders. How adorable.

But then again it all wasn't that bad. She was still herself with or without the dresses and makeup. The dating thing of course it made her not mind getting a little girly. It was exciting. And fun.
She couldn't help but to grin at his comment about knowing him too well. She did. It was true. She nodded "Yeah, maybe." Seem like a good place for a date if you ate like a bird. It was a nice little quiet place though. "Cheesecake sounds great. Dessert first is always nice. We should split a piece...or maybe two?" She smiled. Really? How many times in your life did you get to eat dessert first? For her not that many times.
Her brown eyes started wondering off for a minute but quickly found his again when quidditch talk happened. She grinned "Really? That's great. I'm so excited for you." She really was. She knew he would make the team. He was really good. She missed quidditch a lot. And having a quidditch player boyfriend. She wouldn't have to miss it as much anymore.

Dinosaurs? Toys? Chances dumbfounded expression showed up on his face until he realized what she meant. Chances ace erupted into a silly grin and he busted out in laughter. "You're talking about play dates!!" He didn't know why he found that funny. Maybe it was because it was a little but of relief. Because now they were on the same playing field. He didn't have to compete with any other dates she might have been on.
Was that jealousy? Chance grinned but kept the thought to himself. "Try a pick up line on me first and I'll show you my number one pick up line I use on all the ladies." Of course there were none but Beezey didn't need to know that. "Besides, I need to know what I'm working with."
Seeing someone come up to take their order, Chance smiled. "Hi! I'll take an applie pie crumble. Please." He looked over at Beezey. "What will you have?"

"I'm glad you aren't like most girls. Most girls are annoying." It was his honest opinion of girls that's for sure. They drove him crazy and not in a good way like Cinna did. Always so bossy, take forever in a bathroom, and make you feel unworthy of their company. Yep he was glad Cinna wasn't like most girls. "Okay, let's get two different kinds if they have it and split them. If not maybe two still and split them." Because splitting one just seemed pointless to his appetite. Taking her hand while they waited for the server, Bart gave it a little squeeze.
She really thought it was a good idea, not that he figured she wouldn't, but it was always a chance when telling someone news like that. "I'd be gone a lot over the summer, but it could be fun. I was thinking either that or possibly doing one of those internships this summer." He hadn't decided which he wanted to do yet. Though where he wanted to intern, he wasn't sure they just took any. He'd might have to go to Knockturn Alley and find out.
"Pshhh no you didn't come here on the wrong day, you are fine Emmy.." he smiled and nodded towards her. Ah? So she got tons of candy from Christmas why didn't that surprise him. He chuckled and shook his head. "I am not surprised Emmy. I am glad you got your candy stash all set. Next time I come over I will like my sour patch kids.." he winked. "I mean it too." he pointed his finger and smiled playfully. He remembered last term well. Emmy didn't have her candy and she wasn't a happy camper. He didn't like seeing his girlfriend in distress.
As he heard what she was gonna have he smiled because she was having the same thing as he was. I guess they were two peas in a pod. "Aww man I was hoping to share with you. But I mean having the whole thing to myself would be pretty nice.." he winked. He even loved her eye color. He could get lost in them for days. Plus her smile lit up the whole room. How lucky of a guy was he? He smiled and nodded, "I have been well too. I have been doing well in lessons this term actually. I am quite proud of myself. I noticed you have not been talking to Lux and Cinna lately...anything the matter?" he asked. He was not gonna pry it out of her. But he was observant and knew something was the matter with his group of girls.
Emmylou smiles and shrugged. "I think I might have some sour patch kids that you can have." she giggled. "I mean I'm not sure because there's this really handsome guy that I'll have to give them too." Was that they way you mess around with people? "I'll just have to sneak you into the common room again." she paused and looked at him. "That's if you want the candy that bad." she giggled.
The fourth year shook her head. "I'm sorry, nope. I want the pancakes all to myself." No sharing here today. Emmylou blushed when she saw him looking at her. She covered her face with the menu so he couldn't see her blushing. Emmy put the menu back down on the table. She wasn't expecting to hear that from Kace. She began to frown. "I..umm..." She said not knowing what to say to him.

Yeah, he would be gone a lot over the summer. "But it would mean you'd be playing quidditch again. It doesn't seem like schools getting it back anytime soon. Maybe I could go to some matches and see you play." Of course she would be there. It would be fun to go see him play. It even sounded fun to even able to play quidditch. She couldn't even remember the last time she played in a proper game. "I was thinking about a internship this summer too. But I don't know." She wasn't for sure what she wanted to do. But she wasn't staying at home all summer babysitting her brother.

"Well I mean if I could do that again I am so up for it and I won't go to the common room just for the candy.." he smiled and held her hand and winked. He only wanted to see her of course. "Can you believe we are celebrating two years already baby?" he asked with his heart soaring just thinking about it.
Oohhhoo so she wanted the pancakes just for herself. He had himself a hungry girlfriend here. He smiled and nodded. "Fiiiiiineeee excuuuuseeee me for being the gentleman. I will get my own pancakes then." But of course he was playing with her. He loved his panda had a mind of her own. "It's a nice place. I moved to London the summer before I started here," Bianca said. She missed LA quite a bit. She also missed being homeschooled a little but this was a much more social environment and she liked that a lot more. "Nice and warm back in Cali..." And this weather right now was the complete opposite. Bianca followed Chance's gaze towards the windows. She had a slight frown on her face when she looked at the snow. "It's beautiful... but cold." And Bianca was against cold.

Though he wasn't sure if this sort of pros is were he wanted. He wanted in the Australian league, but knew his mother would never go for it. So he would settle for the British league for now. "I'd be back and forth really, so still time for some fun, plus I still have to make it. I might not." It's not like he was playing all the time, so he'd need to practice. "Oh? Where do you want to intern?" He knew where he was planning on if he went that way. Leaning closer he made sure no one else was listening, "I'm planning on sending an application to Knockturn Alley, I want to intern in one of those shops." The potion one would be his first choice.

So this was actually turning out to be really nice. Minus the lack of food. Which they we're working on that at the moment. She nodded, and laughed. "Strawberry, right?" She loves strawberries. It was kind of like they were hanging out like normal talking and stuff. Just at a fancier place. Now she was really grinning. The hand holding was kind of cute. Okay not kind of it was cute. Wait?! Had she agreed to a second date? She tried to rewind in her mind back to that time. Had she even said date? Nope. She did not believe she did. "No. That's not official! I don't even remember saying yes to a question." Therefore there was no date in the future. Unless he asked. But that idea did sound absolutely delightful. Bianca was pretty sure she'd end up saying yes. After all, how was she supposed to say no to movies and sweets?
Bianca nodded and grinned. Wait. Why was he smiling so much? Oh wait... Bianca really ought to think things through in her head before saying them aloud. "Well, I did say it was going well," she said with a slight shrug of her shoulders. "It's no cookies and milk, but it's nice." There was no point to lying about it.
"It's a nice place. I moved to London the summer before I started here," Bianca said. She missed LA quite a bit. She also missed being homeschooled a little but this was a much more social environment and she liked that a lot more. "Nice and warm back in Cali..." And this weather right now was the complete opposite. Bianca followed Chance's gaze towards the windows. She had a slight frown on her face when she looked at the snow. "It's beautiful... but cold." And Bianca was against cold.
Chance was going to have to visit Cali one of these days. He had never been in the states... well he had barely been out of London but he had always wanted to travel. He hadnt realized there were so many people from the States that had come to Hogwarts. Why didnt the US have a Hogwarts? Other places did. At least... Chance hadnt heard of a Hogwarts in the US.
"Yes beautiful." Chance said grinning and then looking at Beezey. "We are going to have to go there soon. Hogsmeade should be closing soon. Well.... we will hav to leave Hogsmeade soon anyways." Chance said. He dreaded going out in the snow. Snow and him werent friends.
The shop owner put down there stuff and Chance thanked her and gave her some money before scarfing down his crumble. "dang that was good!" Chance said. And gave the shop owner a wide grin. She didnt look o keen to serve them. Maybe it was because Chance had scooted close to Beezey and the shop owner didnt like that. Hey, he had scooted back a while a go!
"Ugh... stop snowing!" Chance said as he pulled his jacket on. He wasnt ready to end the date but he knew it was getting time to leave.
