This time around though, he had to act a certain way, which kinda sucked, but then again, it was the price he had to pay for accepting his prefect badge.
Making sure that everyone found their way outside of the train safely, and directing stray first year students towards the man calling out, Ethan finally emerged from the train and did some bending and stretching. He was hoping for a quiet train ride, but duty calls. As he bent down again and reached for his toes, Ethan found the same stray white cat from the luggage compartment. The fourth year eyed it, convinced that it was following him. Did the kitten know it was lost? Did the furry creature know that his or her owner must be super worried by now? Sighing, Ethan picked the kitten up and was about to raise it, Lion King style and announce that he found a lost pet when he almost bumped into a boy…about his age, or maybe older.
Merlin. Lots of creatures and students lost now, eh?
“Hey.” Ethan carried the small kitten on his arms and grinned at the boy.
“You’re new, aren’t you? Haven’t seen you around before.” As he spoke, the cat decided to climb up his arm…and onto his head. Ethan eyed it for a moment, then back to the boy.
“Lost pet.” He said pointing at it.
“I’m Ethan,” he gave the guy a two-finger salute and looked around them.
“Are you ready to ride the carriages?” he asked.
