Samantha had made her way to the statue. She looked around and noticed that Angel wasn't there. Samantha had departed the first floor corridor to the statue of Gregory the Smarmy so quickly in excitement that she could understand if Angel hadn't reached the destination yet.

Samantha stood there as she looked at the statue. It was certainly an interesting wizard that the statue was dedicated to.

Angel was struggling, seriously how fast was Samantha. When she got where she was going, she looked at Samantha and giggled. "Oh boy how fast are you?" Angel giggled. "I seriously was trying to keep up with you but well I just couldn't my little legs wouldn't go any faster." Angel wondered what Samantha had eaten for breakfast, because boy did she want some if it made you that fast.

Samantha giggled at Angel's words. "Well, I have always been a determined person who likes to go wherever I please. I just got caught up in the excitement, sorry."

She pointed to the statue and asked Angel, "Well, what do you think?"

Angel stuck her tongue out at her friend. "Well I don't know about that, but whatever you had for breakfast I want some." Angel laughed, seriously what had Samantha had. "Did you drink some rocket fuel this morning?" Angel wanted to enter her friend into a race.

Angel looked at the statue.

"I've never seen it!" Angel was shocked about that, "It's Amazing!!" Angel wondered why her radar hadn't worked last year when she had been exploring. "I love it." Angel wondered why it was just here and not somewhere more on show. "It would be great in the entrance hall I think."

Samantha poked her tongue out at Angel in a jokingly manner. "I just had a couple of apples for breakfast. I didn't have the time to eat much more." she said.

At Angel's words about the statue, Samantha spoke, "Well, I think it is always going to be there as a tribute to Fred and George Weasley. From the stories I remember, this was once the entrance to a passageway they found during their early years at Hogwarts. During the Battle of Hogwarts the passageway caved in."

Angel smiled at Samantha. "Awesome Sam, maybe I'll have to try that if it makes you move so fast." Angel had no idea that apples made people so fast. "You should have the same tomorrow I want to experiment on what makes you faster." Angel really wanted to see if it was the apples that made things go fast.

"That sounds amazing." Angel looked at Samantha and then decided to tell her something. "You know I'm from non magic family, well last term I was on the top student board for Gryffindor I came 4th and then there was the shock of being a top student in History of Magic." Angel blushed. "I couldn't believe that." Angel had been really confused about that.

Angel wanted to do a little experiment involving Samantha. Sam had to admit that she was rather intrigued. "If I am not doing a lot of physical and mental work then I'll have the same for breakfast tomorrow."

Samantha smiled when Angel told her about her achievements. "Congratulations. See? You're proof that it doesn't matter what your magical background is, you can achieve good results if you try hard enough. I'm a Pureblood and I haven't achieved anything like that. Hopefully, I'll pass my OWLs."

Angel couldn't believe it Samantha had said yeah. "Awesome." Angel looked at her friend. "If you meet me outside the Great Hall say 7am we'll see if you are as fast tomorrow as you were today." Angel thought it would be cool to see what happened and she couldn't wait to start this experiment.

"Oh I know." Angel blushed but that had been last term, this term she'd already lost the plot and had no chance of doing anything similar. "Oh Sam don't worry I know you will fly through your OWL's." Angel really did think that.

"Okay then. How about you meet me at the Ravenclaw house table when I have breakfast?" Samantha suggested to Angel.

Samantha patted Angel's shoulder because it seemed that Angel was worried about her studies. "You'll do fine once certain matters have sorted themselves out," Sam said reassuringly.

Angel smiled at the Sam. "Yeah I think that would be cool." Angel beamed. "I'll even bring my quill and parchment so that we can figure out how to do this." Angel was getting really excited about this. "I think this is going to be amazing."

Angel looked around before giving Sam a small hug. "I know but in some ways I just feel like everything is going wrong at the same time." Angel sighed. "But I guess your right."

Sam smiled at Angel's excitement. "I agree that it is going to be amazing. I am really looking forward to it. It is a different experience for me and I like that." The young witch was determined to get out more but still keep her studying in check. She didn't want to have a nervous breakdown during exams.

Samantha hugged Angel back and said, "I understand what you mean. You know that I am here for you, right?"

Angel smiled at Samantha. "Yeah I know that you are here for me." Angel thought that it was awesome that she had made such a great friend. "I'm glad we are friends."

Samantha gave Angel a quick hug and as she released the hug said, "I too, am glad we are friends. It is nice to meet people outside of my house and to befriend them." Sam's start of year resolution of making new friends was being fulfilled and the young witch couldn't be happier.

What was he doing here? Even he didn't know.

Just looking at his pile of homework was giving him a headache so, naturally, he left it and decided to go for a stroll. He'd regret it later and would be forced to do it at the last minute but that was how he rolled. Procrastination was all he knew and it was the only thing he was gonna do. Besides, the stress would make him write a MASTERPIECE, he was sure of it.

Right now, Grayson found himself heading down the fifth floor corridor, even strutting if you looked closely enough. There wasn't much that caught his attention along this corridor. Not really. He DID, however, try to keep an eye out for the Prefect's bathroom because rumour had it that the glorious bathroom was right along this floor. Why none of his Prefect friends hadn't given him the password to it, he didn't know. He kinda wanted to see what all the fuss was abou--

And................ stop. In front of Gregory the Smarmy. The guy who produced that potion that made the drinker think the person who gave it to them was their friend. AND, rumour had it that this place hid a secret passageway too but that was long since caved in. Despite this, Grayson couldn't help but take out his wand and give the statue a small poke with his wand.

If it became active, he was legging it.

Caleb hadn't spent much time in the common room like...at all this term, for obvious reasons. It was kind of exhausting actually, trying to find other things to do besides lay around in his dorm all day like he'd prefer. But it was kind of nice too - he got some exercise at least, yeah? Walking around all day?

As he walked around the corner and towards the statue of Gregory the Smarmy, one of his usual reading spots, he jumped. Someone was there. Someone he did NOT want to see.

Grayson. UGH. Great. Just great.

Caleb had no idea what it was about the older Slytherin, but he just...got under his skin. Sure, he was mad about the fact that Grayson was totally hitting on his sister any chance he got, glaring at her like she was a piece of meat, but something else seemed to irk him about the Slytherin and he just couldn't get WHAT it was. Whatever it was, Caleb was not ever thrilled to see him - and now was no exception. He stopped and wrinkled his eyebrows. Ok, WHAT was he doing?

"Trying to vandalize school property?" he said moodily, crossing his arms and smirking at him. He had to admit - if he got Grayson a detention, he might be able to bear his presence in the common room again. A bit.

Was it not going to do anything? Shame. Grayson was all out hoping for it to SHOW him the secret passage that hid behind it. Just because curiosity was gonna get the better of him and he wanted to see if the rumours were true. See it with his own eyes and whatnot. See if it was actually--

He knew who that voice belonged to since it kept disturbing his conversations with a certain hot Slytherin but that didn't stop Grayson from turning his head slowly to look at the boy standing there. "No," he said pointedly, twirling his wand between his fingers, "Just tryna see if this thing does have a secret passage behind it." Shrug.

ANYWAYS. Important question coming up. "If I was, would you go and be a tattletale and tell on me?" And what was with that smirk, anyways? Had he stepped in between another hot pair's conversation and cause an argument only to storm out in a huff? HMMMMM?
