You arrive in the dungeons, ready to serve your detention. You approach a desk situated in front of several doors and can hear strange noises coming from behind each of them. Suddenly, there is an ear-piercing scream and the staff member behind the desk smiles with pleasure. Time for you to sign your soul over in!

Welcome to Detention!
Here is where students come to be punished. Please RP your arrival and signing in in this thread. From here, the staff member administering your detention will assign you a detention room. Once you have been assigned a detention room, post your arrival in that detention room thread and a staff member will be there to instruct you momentarily.
Please keep in mind the following special rules for detention:

Rule number one: Do NOT complain about being in detention. You are here for good reason and if you don't know why you are here, you obviously need to learn the rules and the proper way to behave at school (RP school or REAL school). This is the perfect place to do that.
Rule number two: Please refrain from making OOC comments if at all possible.
Rule number three: Do not pester us to take you out of detention or complain when your detention is up and we haven't had a chance to take you out. Maybe you'll think twice next time. It is not our fault if you miss classes or Quidditch or can't post in the rest of the school!!
Rule number four: You must post in your assigned detention room a couple times a day throughout the course of your detention to prove to us that you have actually shown up. (We understand there are circumstance where you may not be able to get online, but sometimes, the length of your detention is dependant on how many days you have actually posted. For example, if you are given two days of detention and you only post once a week, your detention will actually be for the two weeks it took you to post.) A professor will give you instructions as to what you will be doing while here.
Rule number five: You must ONLY post in the detention rooms assigned to you in this thread. If you are caught posting in detention rooms you were not assigned to, your detention length will be increased.
Failure to abide by any of these rules may result in the professor extending your detention period.

Oh, how we drift away from our friends. And the ones back home play remember when
Samantha was busy reading the last clue. This place made her nervous even though she wasn't here because she was in trouble. The sooner her and Penelope were out of here the better.

The dungeons were creepy. How could the Slytherins live down here? This looked like a horrible place to spend your time in detention. Penelope read the clue, nervously moving closer to Samantha. It did not take her long to figure out the next clue, and she assumed that Samantha had figured it out by now. The shiny different colors were the gems in the hourglasses, showing which house was in the lead for the house cup. "Hourglasses. Let's get out of here."

After running down more stairs, Jasmine finally reached he dungeons. This was a place that she was not fond of. If not for Potions, she would never come down here. Jasmine had come close to getting detention once and vowed never to let that happen again.
Once they arrived, Jasmine looked around and spotted the clue. As she read it, a smile spread across her face. "I think it's the house hourglasses". Actually she was sure of it, but she waited for Eden's confirmation. They were making a great team so far and Jasmine was actually enjoying this activity. She wasn't looking forward to climbing back to he Common Room when they finished though.

Once they arrived, Jasmine looked around and spotted the clue. As she read it, a smile spread across her face. "I think it's the house hourglasses". Actually she was sure of it, but she waited for Eden's confirmation. They were making a great team so far and Jasmine was actually enjoying this activity. She wasn't looking forward to climbing back to he Common Room when they finished though.
Commence massive amounts of panting.......now.
Eden stopped next to Jasmine and leaned against the wall, catching her breath. Merlin. It seemed Jasmine had found the clue, and she grinned over at her. She had to read it a few times, though, to really get it. "I think it is too--" she said, and honestly, Eden probably wouldn't have thought it was talking about that if Jasmine hadn't suggested it...oops. She was glad she had Jasmine, then. GOOD. Hehe.
"Come on--we should go--I think detentions take place down here and it kind of gives me the creeps--" she said with a laugh, and she gestured for Jasmine to follow. "we have to climb UP STAIRS now.." she complained.

Good. Eden was in agreement with Jasmine on the location of the next clue. "Ughhhh, stairs", Jasmine replied. This part was not going to be fun.....at all. We'd better get a move on." With that, Jasmine followed Eden out of the dungeons

Or serve detention. Though, to the Ravenclaw, she felt like the two were equivalent. She had slumped all the way here, thinking about unFAIR this all was! But to argue would only make things worse. Her only hope was that if Professor Morgan showed up--maybe Truebridge would SEEE how evil she was and how UNFAIR this was to the normally VERY calm girl. And she was WANDLESS which was making her feel SOOOO vulnerable, too. Not that she planned on using her wand--SHE WAS NOT THAT DUMB--but she just felt WEIRD without it right now. Hmph.
Glancing behind her, she looked to see if Truebridge was close behind. Merlin. Her bones were shaking, it felt like, but she tried not to look...TOO frightened.

Anastasia had allowed the girl a head start--- because really, she disliked walking directly next to the children. She had sent a Patronus up to the Divination classroom and was expecting Cassie to join them, when she was able to. Until then, the Headmistress would have fun with this detention.
Click-clacking into the sign-in, the redhead breezed past Eden and gestured for her to follow down the hall. "I see you have no wand, fine," supposedly. "We will be in the Torture Chamber. Don't dawdle."
