As you come through the trap door the first thing you notice is that very familiar faint calming music sound and the smell of lavender going through the air. A very relaxing tone is bein set just as the first lesson, but this time there are no crystal balls on tables, actually there are no small tables. Instead there are long tables in the center of the room and then full length mirrors all over the outside of the room.
Don't worry there are enough seats and it seems enough mirrors for everyone who attends. In the front of the room you will see the ever familiar snap cup with the same directions.

There seems to be only one difference then the normal lessons. Where was the smiling five foot blonde professor? It seems Professor Cassie could be running behind or got distracted in her office, because she is no where to be seen yet.

When she ordered them all to stand up, Eden remained VERY seated and crossed her arms over her chest, still glaring at her. She didn't even grace this impostor with a RESPONSE. "Bring back Professor Morgan and MAYBE we'll HELP you!" she said suddenly, a growl following her words.
Woooow.
Eden DID have a mean side, apparently, and while normally she was so mild-mannered, she couldn't help but feel ANGRY at this Evil Queen. "You're not even being very Evil--" she goaded, just trying to make her mad. "We're a bunch of children, and you've done nothing but yell at us thus far. Some EVIL that is--" she snorted and rolled her eyes. "I personally refuse to answer anymore questions or help you one bit." Mouthy, she was, right now.
Not very evil? Why would she want to be evil. She was the Queen, but if this girl wanted to see evil she could be evil. She really was starting to get annoyed by these ridiculous children. "Yes you are children and children have to be hungry." She turned and headed towards the desk and picked up the apple she brought. Picking it up she headed towards the girl. The apple that was only poisonous in her own mind, she set down in front of the girl. "Eat this delicious apple for a treat from your Queen." That should take care of her and once she was poisoned then the others would see not to mess with their queen. She wasn't going to be answering anymore questions alright. She'd be on the floor in a deep sleep very soon.

"I don't suppose you actually know where the Dungeons are?" If she didn't even know how the mirrors got here she doubted she know the difference between the Astro tower and Dungeon Five so...
And now orders were being barked. She raised her hand. "If we said we didn't know about scrying how will we be able to show you things?" She didn't know about anyone else but she'd said she was clueless. Had the 'Queen' not taken that into consideration?
"Oh you will serve me, everyone serves me. I am your queen. The Queen is always served by her subjects and that is exactly what you are. So you need to silence this instance." She glared at the girl and glanced up at the desk. Drat her apple was being used on the other girl. She should have brought more. Though she could get them easily. She did love her apples, especially the poisoned ones. "Of course I know where the dungeons are in my own castle. I've been there to deal with people like you many times." They never got out of those dungeons alive and neither would she if the Queen felt necessary.
"YOU DO KNOW THINGS, YOU ALL KNOW. STOP TRYING TO GO AGAINST YOUR QUEEN." She was furious with this one and clenched her hand to stop herself from ending the girl with one swift movement. No this was no way to get these mirrors to work. "We are going to get these mirrors to work or no one will be leaving this room." Was she clear?

It was nice to see that a younger girl had repaired it because Professor Cassie would not like her cup damaged when it was a feature in every lesson she taught.
Stand in front of a mirror and show her how to scry? Lux could remember how to see through the crystal ball, but the images had always managed to elude her. Now she was expected to do this in front of a mirror with a crazy Professor? That was laughable. Remaining in her seat, she said, You are mean, and ordering people around won't get them to tell you how to scry."
Another one that thought she was brave, pity these children weren't better at it. "I am not mean child I'm directing orders like a queen does. You are disrespecting the queen by not addressing her properly and answering her questions." Then the other girl wondered why she thought they were lying about not knowing anything. Wasn't it obvious by this one that they did.

She looked at everyone, "I will not tolerate disrespect in my kingdom. Disrespect will get you sent straight to the dungeons." Where were her guards?
"Well if it shows the future there should be magic words. My magic mirror is very simple." She glanced back at that mirror, "Mirror Mirror on the wall who's the fairest of them all?" She waited for the face in the mirror to form, but nothing happened. UGH, they had different magic, but how were they getting it. This was not good. She was not going to let any of them out of this room. Not with this hidden magic.
Turning back to the class she was going to have to get them to show her what they knew. Yes that was exactly what was going to have to happen. "Get up. All of you get up right now. Find a mirror. You will show me how these work." They better show her if they knew what was good for them.
Looking back to a few that did say about this Scrying she figured they would be the best to get some more knowledge out of. "Now this Scrying with Crystal Balls, do you think it can be used on mirrors? If so how could you do it?" Yes she would pretend to ask questions like she didn't know and cared for their thoughts. This was how she would get them to show her.
Ian really, really wasn't liking this professor Cassie. She was mean and she didn't treat her students well and that wasn't the Professor Cassie he knew AND loved. Professor. I did write something on one of those slips, but not because of pride or any of that stuff, but because it was something you wanted us to do. You were my favorite professor, but now I don't know. You have changed. You're acting like.... he thought a minute and then continued Well...I don't know, but you don't make me feel all happy like you have before. You're being mean and if I have to go to the dungeon for saying so, I guess I'll be in the dungeon.
Then, she told them to go pick a mirror. He just sat in his seat. He wasn't going to do ANYTHING for this mean woman until the REAL Professor Cassie came back. This woman wasn't teaching, she was demanding and that didn't teach anyone. Even that horrid woman in Arithmancy had at least provided some instruction. Professor, why don't you start TEACHING and do less DEMANDING. This is a class, not a meeting of your underlings! Ian was hurt at how Professor Cassie was speaking to him and he responded in kind.
"I am NOT your Professor. I AM your Queen! If you do not start addressing me with more respect it will be off to the dungeons. I do not need to teach anyone. You know what is going on and you will show me. NOW GO." She pointed towards the mirrors. He will go to a mirror. No one was getting out of this room until they showed her how these mirrors worked.

Hadn't he explain himself well enough??? She sounded like she forgave him. But clearly not.
So instead of replying at all, he just stared. Stared with confused eyes. What. If that's not what scrying was about then how come she kept telling him to clear his mind last time. This was so confusing. Even more confusing than the first time around.
And that's when she told them to use the mirrors. But he didn't know how. So standing up, the Gryffindor continued to give her that weird, confused expression. "... Aren't you going to teach us how, Professor?" 'Cause if he was wrong about the scrying all along then he definitely couldn't figure out how to do it now. Not to mention the fact that he totally missed it the first time the had the class and he couldn't even get the homework right. So what was he supposed to do... Just stare at the reflection?
ALSO, how was he supposed to make things right again? Save Professor Morgan from her insanity that HE caused?!
These children were ridiculous with their pointless babbling and she was beginning to become very frustrated. "I will not say this again, I am not your professor and I am not a teacher, so why the hell would I be teaching you anything. You were in this room, there are mirrors, you know how to do this Scrying so go do it." She glared at him to try to talk back to her again. She needed her huntsman, where was he. She didn't want her hands dirty and this seemed like she was going to have to end all of these subjects.

"I've never heard of a Mirror doing anything else." Angel wasn't going to help the evil queen... she was totally missing the divination Professor could she please become her real self again.
Angel had to hide a giggle as a Ravenclaw girl said the queen wasn't so evil, saying that it was true she hadn't done anything bad to anyone and that made Angel more confident in doing bad things, normally she'd condone this sort of action but today she was with the head girl. "I have no idea what I am supposed to be showing you, maybe if you show us first then I can learn." Angel was being truthful there.
Another one.. She couldn't handle anymore, "Mirrors can show you many things. You just have to know how to work them." Her magic mirror had showed her many thing, but she wished she could find him at this moment so she didn't have to deal with these incompetent beings.

There were always magic words. Her eyes flickered toward the child with her next comment. "There are no crystal balls here, so that can not be the correct answer. Focus on these mirrors."
Did you hear that people? She had brains. Of course she didn't need to be told that, but it was still nice to hear. It was funny that the "queen" was relying on her answers so much considering this was not a strong subject for her. Why not have some fun, though? Mirrors, crystal balls... same difference. If they were here for Divination you could bet they were supposed to be used to see stuff.
"Well, you see, first you have to FULLY relax. We normally get that way by eating freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, and milk. Of course chocolate frogs get the job done as well." Whatever floated your boat. "Then we have to turn all the lights off and sleep off the cookies." Was she still with her? "Then we stare into the mirror with a clear mind and it will automatically show you what you are destined to see." Hehe. "Would you like me to go down to the kitchens and grab us the snacks?" If AJ was actually able to leave this class, she would NOT be coming back... just sayin!

Finally two subjects that actually knew what they were doing. They were being respectful to their queen. "Very good. Did you hear that. Two of my loyal subjects are finally telling me what I want to hear. They know how to talk to their queen." So this was how you got the mirrors to work. Once again the queen was looking at them.

Nobody's orders should be followed if they're said in a mean way. If the queen wanted them to do stuff she should say it respectfully, or at least that was what her mum always said. Toby stared for a moment, looking right at the mirror version of himself as though he'd never seen a reflection before. It was strange, because the Toby in the mirror wasn't smiling, so it felt almost like that wasn't him at all. But it was, and he knew it.
Straightening out his face to a more neutral expression, Toby looked at the Queen!Professor in the reflection of the mirror, and bit his lip again. He didn't want to antagonise, not like with Hook, but remaining quiet was getting more difficult.
His mind half on the fairy tale stuff and half on the topic of scrying, Toby mumbled an absentminded "Probably..." to the first half of the professors question (and more to himself than the class or Queen) and carried on just... watching.

She was right in the middle of getting up to start cleaning when she heard some thing break. Opps the queen, must have dropped her cup and broke it. The queens was about as clumsy as her step sisters. She hurried over to clean it up before her step mother got there to see what the noise was.

Nestling in between two mirrors, she sat on the floor with the snap cup in front of her. Her wand was pointed at the broken cup. The Ravenclaw girl was doing the best she could to fix it. "Reparo."
More questions on scurrying were being asked, but she wasn't ready to voice an answer. She did not speak, but she thought about the question. Was scrying with mirrors similar to scrying with crystal balls, but with a mirror instead of a crystal ball?
She wouldn't have even noticed, but once there were two over near the broken cup and then she heard a word that sounded like repairing she turned her attention to the two. "What do you two think you are doing. Step away from the front. That is the Queen's place. Not yours." Closing in on them she noticed the cup fixed like it had never broken. "Seriously what is the importance of this stupid cup." She took it from the girl. If this was that valuable she would use it against them. "You don't want this broken then you best head over and find a mirror and get to work." Or their precious cup was going to be so shattered there would be no fixing it.
Now back to the rest of the group. "Now I hope you were listening to my true Loyal subjects as they talked about how the mirrors work just like a crystal ball. You relax your mind and focus on it." She walked in front of one and looked into it. "So if you have used a crystal ball then you should be able to use a mirror." That's what they seemed to be saying at least. She never used a crystal ball, her magic wasn't in need of such rubbish, but if it got the children to show her how to use the magic mirror she would go along with it.
Looking back at the ones just sitting, "Well what are you waiting for. Get up and get too it. Start showing me how these mirrors work."
ooc: Alright this is going to be an activity. You can run with it how you want. If you charrie wants to try scrying using mirrors instead of a crystal ball go for it, if they want to question it still then that's all in how you interpret what the Queen is saying. You need three posts to get for completion of the activity and will have until Monday at 11 p.m. EST.. Have fun guys XD

Ian was frustrated. He didn't want to lose points or go to the dungeon, but this couldn't possibly be the teacher of divination. This one wasn't giving snaps, wasnt encouraging and really was being foolish. I don't know anything about these mirrors. he had noticed her glancing at the desk and wondered if there were notes on it dealing with class. He walked up to Professor Cassie's desk and tried to sneak a look at the papers. He thought the best way to do that was distracting her with compliments. Took him a little while to come up with one so he was still listening.

............................... loyal subjects. Yeah, no. He was only loyal to Captain Hook, duuuuuhhh. He was the original Nutty Professor. All these others were inconveniences. Couldn't they just have a food fight!battle!war thing again? THAT was fun. Staring at mirrors... not so fun.
But alas...
SCRYING.
Zeke attempted to do what he did with the crystal balls, stand, stare, and let his mind go. RELAX.
Only, with a mirror it was so much harder, and he was super conscious of the size of his nose. His nose. Look at it! It was.... nobbly, and a little too big for his face? Emily did always say he'd grow into it, but what she never seemed to consider was that his nose too might grow. Boo.
Sigh.
"Show me something," he murmured to his reflection. A mirror of Erised would be super awesome right now, better than this stuff. Focusing more on his breathing, Zeke tried his best to stop thinking of things so much.
Kace raised his eyebrows at the Professor/Queen. Did she really just call him a fool. He chuckled and shook his head. He rather keep his mouth shut then be stuck in her dungeons. I guess this was gonna work then huh? He starred at the mirror and looked around at everyone else. They seemed to be doing the same thing. First step was to clear his mind from what he could remember from last classes. He went to his place where he could clear his mind. He went back to his memory of the farm back in Kansas where he felt more at home. He was picturing riding on horseback in the open meadows and fields. He smiled and felt more relaxed than he had in a while.
He opened his eyes and saw something in the mirror. Woaahh did he just see something green like a field? He blinked and blinked again and didn't see anything. Huh....must have been his imagination. "Come on mirror just show me.." he pleaded. He didn't want to be in this class anymore than he had to. "What do I have to do? Do I have to clear my mind to the point where I am gonna sleep?" He thought about it and sleep didn't sound like a bad idea at this point. But the queen might have her words with him and slashed that idea of his list. He thought he could try again...

There was no reasoning with this one. Raising her brow, Lux stared at the 'Queen'. What was she so keen on seeing in the mirror? Did it have something to do with Snow White? Whatever it was, maybe it was best to play along the same way she had with Professor Botros. "If you say so, Your Majesty."
Getting to her feet, she approached a mirror and stared at her reflection. Even though she wasn't a shallow person, she had to admit that she looked really good today. Brushing a strand of hair from her eyes, she tried to get into the right mindset for scrying. It wasn't so easy when Professor Cassie had been transformed into a mean Queen who threatened to put people in the dungeons. Pfft. As if the Headmistress would let that happen.
Continuing to stare into the mirror, Lux knew this wouldn't do. "Can we have tea and cookies? Professor Cassie always lets us have tea and cookies." Maybe it would help her concentrate.

The whole not thinking thing, was hard for him. His mind was ALWAYS on edge about something, always working on something. How he managed to get through the last lesson was beyond him, but this time he wasn't sure he'd be able to focus at all.
Still breathing - though not at all relaxed by it, Zeke continued to stare into the mirror.
In reality it probably looked like he had lost himself, as if he was staring through things rather than at them. But that was only because his mind was elsewhere, still churning away, but definitely not present.
His eyes were glazed over, but still, he saw nothing in the mirror aside from his own reflection - and even that could not compete for his attention - or non-attention.

Ian looked around and saw Zeke. He WAS not going to follow the instructions of the Anti-Cassie, but he could help out a buddy. He walked over to Zeke. Hey man. How's it going? Ian glared at the the shell of his professor and then back at Zeke's mirror. It just looked like a mirror. What were they going to get from these things. Nothing! was Ian's thought. Ian didn't think he could calm himself, but he could probably help Zeke calm down and breathe.

A loyal subject? Well alright then. If that's what the Queen Professor lady wanted to refer to her as it was just fine with her. Right now the Professor was being completely harmless to them all and Hady was intent on keeping it that way. Even if that meant staring into a mirror and 'attempting' to see something.
Maybe she would actually see something. She had been able to after several tries with the Crystal Ball. Shifting her weight from one foot to the other the small snake turned her full attention to the mirror before her and shut her eyes. Deep breath in through her nose. Slow breath out through her mouth.
First things first she needed to be completely relaxed. Which meant to get her breathing under control and evened out. This she could do well enough...or at least she hoped so.

Loyal subject? AJ was just trying to get snacks. A sigh escaped from her lips. The "queen" didn't say that she could leave so her kitchen escape was going to have to wait.
FINE.
Now, as far as these mirrors went, AJ already knew that she wasn't going to have any luck. The crystal balls never worked for her so looking at herself in a mirror was surely only going to be a distraction.
Stare, stare, STARE. Her eyes were REALLY brown. This was no use. "What about the snacks? I can't empty my mind without them!" And a nap. Didn't she hear anything that she told her? Trying one more time couldn't hurt. So much for dropping it, Valentine.
Angel looked at the Professor. "Mrs Queen, Madame, I can't close my mind without snacks, like my sister says, it helps to clear the mind." Angel wondered what the Queen would say. "If you want to know how the mirrors work then that would help a great deal, you have to give and take you know." Angel looked at the mirror in front of her and sighed.
~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes.
Her presence hold his tongue? Adi made a distinct noise in his throat that was actually him swallowing his laughter. Her presence had nothing to do with him not wanting to speak. It was solely his choice.
Drat. If they were scrying on mirrors then Adi had little hope of seeing anything. He had come up empty with the Crystal Balls earlier in the term. Never the less, he got to his feet then shuffled off to a mirror.
Ohh. Looky. His hair was looking good. Now if he just tussled it up a bit like this...there! Much better. AJ had been right. Messy hair did look better on him. Hehe. Speaking of AJ. He laughed softly at her asking about snacks. And Angel too. Those sisters were funny.
Now, what was he supposed to be doing? Oh yeah...scrying using the mirror.
Adi took a few deep breaths. He needed to caaaaalm himself down. Breathe in...and breathe out...repeat the process.
Norah never stopped glaring at the floor as the crazy queen lady yelled at everyone else. No, she would NOT look at her, 'cause she looked like Professor Cassie even though she WASN'T like her at ALL. Sigh.
...So people were actually gonna start listening to her now? Fine. Still not looking at the professor, the second year rose slowly from her seat and shuffled over to a mirror. She plopped down in front of it and stared at her reflection. Maybe she should have brushed he hair this morning...whoops. Whatever. She never did, anyway. Resting her cheek in her hand, Norah let her eyes fall closed. She hadn't even known how to do this scrying thing in the first place.
Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite
Alexa sighed, hoping she wasn't nearly as dense or stubborn in her denseness while she was supposedly the Maleficent woman...because she could see how this would get old REAL fast, like it was doing now. "I already told you, you aren't Queen, you can't be, that's for the fiery red head down on the 2nd floor. You're just the Divination Professor gone mad." And while she'd have condoned it like she did Airey then Botros, this one asked her to serve. Why couldn't she make her her right hand like Hook did? Or a precious daughter like Trident did?
Lex. Did. Not. Serve.
"And you can keep them here for as long as you like but at the end of the hour I'm leaving with anyone who wants to come because we have Defense Against the Dark Arts next hour and I'm not missing it just to watch you go in circles with foggy mirrors." Hexes, jinxes and curses trumped Professor Smiles in medieval wear any day of the week.
Once again, she looked to the mirror. Just like before she saw nothing....but the Queen need not know that.
"Hang on...I...see something...." She lied. This was going to be good.

Eden felt like suuuuuch a sassmouth. she always had the ability to be sassy, but this..IMPOSTOR was bringing it out from Eden SO much. Very grumbly, the brunette stood to go grab a flippin' mirror. She could at least try to do this for the Cassie Morgan that Eden was CONVINCED was somewhere inside that EVIL person.
But Eden had NO clue how to do this. This woman hadn't showed them how to scry, so Eden just stared down at her mirror--and heard the headgirl say she saw something. HOW? Eden was having trouble--so she should just..focus on the mirror? What were they even scrying FOR? Eden scoffed so hard--
This lesson had been SO disappointing to her! It was a monstrOSITY.
Also, Eden was not eating the apple. She eyed that fruit as if it had threatened to chop her head off. When Professor "Morgan" wasn't looking, Eden quickly pushing it off her desk and watched it roll towards someone else....good riddance. That thing was probably POISONED. Eden was only fifteen. SHE STILL HAD TO LIVE MUCH LONGER, EVIL QUEEN.

What. What in the name of Merlin?
Sure, Professor Cassie wasn't exactly herself but that didn't mean that her response to his previous answer didn't sting. It was probably because it was coming from someone he knew to be nice, at least to him. Squaring his jaw and sitting back in his seat, Grayson fiddled with his quill and remained quiet for a while. When was the real Professor Cassie coming back? He kinda missed her.
And they were gonna have to look into the mirror to try and predict the future? Jeez, that was gonna be hard. He'd struggled enough to try and see something in a crystal ball, what if this one was harder? Required a stronger Inner Eye or whatever it was? Merlin, he was more than sure that he was going to fail this.
Still, getting up from his seat, Grayson headed over towards a mirror and smirked at his reflection. Heeeeeey! 'Sup! Now come on and show him something, mkay? None of that misty nonsense he had seen while looking into the crystal ball. Something GOOD. Like him winning the lottery or a hint as to what he should be doing in the future. Just show him something. He was waiting.
Post 2 - Grayson too ^^ (Anyone else is welcome to join the er...creative scrying)

Lex made the biggest gestures of looking at her mirror, pretending there was something she couldn't even begin to deal with internally. Right on cue her eyes widened and she forced a gasp before slapping her hands over her mouth. "It's terrible, just horrible! The mirror doesn't lie, it certainly doesn't!" Now if only she was seeing something in it. Eh, details details.
"You better watch out oh mighty Queen, I see you heading for destruction! Yes....yes.....rabid beast....a dark forest....red eyes hunting you from the shadows."
It was alllllll there in her imagination.
Feigning some urgency, she slipped over to Grayson at his mirror and shot him the smallest and least noticeable of looks while her back was turned to the Professor. "I see it in this mirror too!" She said, pointing to his. "You're running...Run faster Professor! Faster they're coming!"
If she could trust anyone to run with a plan, it would be Whitlock. He was her man for this type of thing.

He was so freaking bored at this point. What was he even doing? Staring into the mirror? Checking himself out? Yeah, that was it. And while checking himself out was fun and all, he kinda wanted to see something else as well, you know. Didn't want to give the Divination Professor the satisfaction of the doubt that he lacked an Inner--
...................
What was Lex even DOING?!
Grayson glanced over in her direction, a confused expression spread across his face. What was she TALKING about? Could she actually see something in that mirror of hers? Something about the Professor being chased by a BEAST? What?
And then there was that look. A look that was different from the expression on her face before, according to him.
LOL, was she feigning this? WAS SHE? LOOOOOOL! Please say yes. And even if it wasn't, could he go along with this? Yeah?
He was going to anyways.
The Slytherin feigned a look of terror and shock as he looked over at his own mirror. He could see how ridiculous the look on his face was, thanks to his reflection, but he was going to ignore that. Instead, he gasped loudly, his blue eyes wide with terror. "I SEE IT TOO!" he said, dramatically placing a hand over his heart and taking a step back as if he couldn't believe what he was seeing, "Oh Queen, my Queen, watch out! They're going to get you! Those eyes....... that BEAST. Oh, what a FRIGHTFUL........... BEAST! Don't let it catch you, my humble Queen! RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!!!!"
Relax his mind? Toby didn't think he had it in him to properly relax his mind enough to do this. He just looked uncertainly at the Queen and nodded his head when she told him and a few others to speak. But he didn't speak. Not yet. Mainly 'cause there was no longer any need to speak, 'cause everything had been covered.
Right. Scrying. In the mirror.
Toby looked directly back at his reflection again and just... stared. He was missing out all sorts of important steps, due to the fact that his head was full of lots of thoughts that were chasing each other round and round his brain and making it hard to ignore them. And then there was the fact that his own reflection was distracting him too. Nothing really in particular, and not that he was vain or anything, it was just... that him.
Eventually, after lots of staring, Toby realised that he wasn't even TRYING. He was still staring at Professor Morgan, keeping an eye out. Y'know, just in case she ended up needing to be locked in a storage closet as well.
Except... Lex caught his attention, of course. Toby blinked and watched via the reflection, so it still looked like he was scrying (or attempting it) unless you looked at his EYES and saw where he was REALLY looking. And... Grayson. He stared at Grayson too. Just a bit.

This was a true test of his bad acting skills.
SMIRK.
See, the Gryffindor KNEW she could count on Grayson for something this amusing and epic. He didn't miss a beat, her partner in class crimes as she'd come to learn and she rather liked pulling him into these little stunts. Whitlock wasn't a squealer, there was no fear on that front so she was free to continue along.
"Look there! The claws, it swiped at her!!! Oh no! Oh no she's stumbling!" It'd be a funny thing if Grayson actual DID see something but was still going along with her, not that she'd be able to tell. Did she look like a bloody fortune-teller to you? No. She didn't think so.
"C'mere, I see it here too!" She said, grabbing Grayson by the hand and pulling him over to where Zeke with Ian and Norah stood around with their mirrors. Ugh. Younger kids. It was always a little trickier with them. You never knew if they'd understand what you were trying to do or they'd play completely useless and ruin the whole act. For their benefit she gave them some looks hoping they understood before continuing.
"There's more than one of them. I don't think you'll make it out alive, such a pity too after you've just come into your rule and kingdom." She hung her head in dismay for a short moment before pointing to Norah's mirror. "Look there, she's tripped!" And over to Zeke's mirror. "Crawling against the tree won't help, they're rabid and are gonna EAT you. Why won't you run Professor Queen Lady???"

Ian was standing next to Zeke when he heard the head girl start calling out things about beasts and such. And then another boy cried out something similar. He wondered what was going on, because really none of them were good at this divination stuff. He was good at mind clearing and all, but Ian had no desire to participate in the Anti-Cassie's nonsense if she wasn't going to teach.
He saw a smirk from Lex and grinned. He looked with feigned surprise at Zeke's mirror. OOOH! I think I see it too! I see a creature, but it looks nice and sweet. He tried to recall what he knew about fairy tales that involved wicked queens and Snow White came to mind. Then he grinned and started calling out more.[size=2] I see a girl. She is beautiful. She's the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. She's in some woods cleaning up a house and singing about her own beauty and a song that sounds like it's mocking a horrid, ugly old hag! He looked to see if he got a response from the Anti-Cassie.

Keeping up with this act of pretending to see something in the mirror was a LOT more fun than trying to channel his Inner Eye to see something else. He had half a mind to glance over at the Professor to see if she was looking in their direction but something told him that that would just give this whole thing away. He also wanted to laugh at Lex's suggestions because LOL, they were amusing! MAN. Was she secretly an actress or what? Was that how she paid for all the candy he was sure she had on a daily basis?
Acting. Right. "NOOOOOOOOOO! No no NO! Not the CLAWS! Queeeeeeeen! Get up and run as FAST AS YOU CAN!" he yelled frantically at the mirror which showed him just how ridiculous his facial expression was. For once, he didn't even mind because this was what him and Lex DID. Ancient Runes, you know. Last year. Throwing vases at each other had been a lot more fun and so was this!
And then he was being pulled away.
Er?
Letting himself be pulled, Grayson followed Lex over towards......... some kids? Younger kids? A Gryffindor (Zeke) and a Hufflepuff (Norah). Should he ask? Probably not. It would ruin this whole look they were putting on.
Instead, he looked into the mirror of the young boy and GASPED. "They look like they're SAVAGE! As if they're getting their revenge! Do you think someone set it after you, Queen? Do you have any enemies?" More wide eyed looks and clutching of his heart. "Oh NO! No NO, Queen! They're going to claw at you! You can't use a meaningless twig from the ground to defend yourself! You need something ELSE!"
Merlin, this was hard.
"You need some help, oh mighty Queen! Get up and RUN OTHERWISE THEY'LL TAKE OVER YOUR KINGDOM!"
And then they were joined by the kid he'd met at the treehouse (Ian). He had a strong urge to smirk but had to resist himself. Oh, this was gonna be gooooooood. Uh huh!

Benny was doing his best to pay attention to the more useful bits of the lesson rather then the evil queen and whatever it was she wanted out of them. They would be scrying again, this time with the mirrors around the room rather than crystal balls. The Gryffindor wasn't sure about how he felt about the activity since what had happened with the crystal ball had left him questioning things.
Maybe he really should have talked to the professor sometime after that lesson.
Getting up so at least it looked like he was doing something and avoiding the so-called queen's wrath, Ben moved towards the first free mirror. Now if he could clear his mind like before. Easier said then done when one wanted to stay alert to any drama that might arise. That and at least one familiar voice catching his attention from time to time. The boy closing his eyes to give it a shot.

Ian listened to Grayson's tale and decided he should add to it, and not go completely off in his own direction. He said out loud again. I see the girl look as if she's listening for something. There she goes walking to the window and it seems as if... He paused and leaned in as if to hear better. YES! She's smiling and she said something about her pets getting their treat and her revenge! Maybe that girl set those savage beasts on you. Maybe she is not what you think she is.

This was cads-wallop. She didn't know what she was doing. The head girl seemed to be having luck--at least she LOOKED like she was having luck. Wow...Professor EVIL!Morgan wouldn't like the thing that they were telling her, though. Hmph. Eden just...closed her eyes and tried to block them out, while also hoping that they succeeded in seriously irritating Evil Cassie.
FOCUS.
BREATHE.
REMAIN CALM.
But Eden knew this would be pointless. Even if she DID correctly know how to scry, she couldn't concentrate. She was thinking about EVIL Morgan..and also trying not to laugh at what would potentially worry Professor EVIL Morgan to death--Merlin--

Zander stared at her with his eyes widened as big as they could possibly get. He really had broke her. He broke Professor Morgan. He singly handedly, totally accidentally, completely and utterly broke her. This was HORRIBLE!! Okay the only thing he could possibly do is follow her instructions-no-commands??? And then run to Professor Culloden and tell him how he broke her and ask if the potions Professor knew any way to fix it. It happened because of a hate potion so there had to be a way to reverse the effects??!
The Gryffindor moved closer to the mirror in front of him and just stared. He couldn't get it with the crystal ball, so what made Professor or uh, not Professor(??) Morgan think that he could do it now?! So he just stood and stared. Stood and stared AND tried to think of a way to talk to Culloden without revealing too much about what he said to Professor Morgan while under the potion. That would be bad. There was no way he could know about the terrible behavior. Just had to find a way around it was all.
