Kace read his name from the list the Headmistress gave them. Awesome he was with Bostros and he was happy. He smiled and walked up to the Runes Professor and nodded towards him. So now they had to search the fifth floor corridor and that didn't sound too bad. He held hands with his group and began the walk up to the fifth floor.

Lux had remained quiet during the book club, which wasn't really like her but she didn't really like thinking about the fairy tale book since it had possessed her and made her think she was Ariel. Or at least that was what Cinna had told her.

It was soooo freaky.

Groups were being chosen, and Lux was thrilled to be going with Professor Cassie. She didn't really know anyone else in the group, though she did know that Benny was Angel's boyfriend. Smiling at her group, she followed them outside of the library. They were going to find this book and deal with it so that it caused no more harm to anyone.

Time for them to head to the Seventh Floor.

How...she wasn't sure but somehow her detour must have put herself in the library before even the headmistress. Heh, well she couldn't be faulted for having followed directions. She'd just, found a shortcut. Hmmm, maybe she should have followed the group specifically. Oh well, she found a seat waiting with her chin in her hands. Not much she could do, she'd done what headmistress had said, mostly. She'd gone to the library, though just hadn't stayed 'with' the group.

Well, she NEARLY led her group up. Somehow, it seemed young Tillstorm had found a shortcut to the library. Good for her though. It was important for students to know how to take shortcuts to a place of study.... er...

The redhead shook out her hair as she arrived and looked around, one hand resting casually on her NEWFOUND FAVORITE BAG. Ahem. Where was the librarian? "Leobald?" she called out hesitantly. He hadn't gotten sucked into this glowing, giggling book too, had he?!

Once they were done with the seventh and sixth floors Cassie lead her group of searchers back to the library. As she walked down the staircase she kept her eyes open, but no book seemed to pop out at them. Not that she really minded though, she wasn't to enthusiastic about coming into contact with that thing again.

Making her way into the library she looked around seeing that Annie was back. Giving the woman and her group a smile, she hoped they had better luck then her searchers. "Did you find it?" though her eyes had just found something else. Those Cinnamon rolls looked good at the moment, maybe it would be a nice failed the search snack.

Kevin realised how much he was missing out and if a boring club such as this did something exciting like making a search party to find something dangerous, Kevin had decided to come with his 2nd floor group to the meeting. As he entered the room and seeing who else was back as well, the Gryffindor hesitated to enter for a second. Ugh, he had to be polite now right? Now that SHE was there. He really didn't wanna risk getting kicked out of school. And if he managed to make peace with Culloden, he could do this as well.

Finding a place to sit, he 'sup'd the Divination professor, something he seemed to do a lot to her as a sign of greeting and sat down somewhere away from the two professors. He then turned his attention to the Headmistress and sighed loudly. "Hello"at least he greeted, right? Now...where were the others?

Cosgrach was in a hurry to catch up with Annie this time. People were safe in library, he knew, and he didn't want to miss the discussion, so he was close behind her and entered the library a short while later.

Now, everyone here was themselves?

Angel followed the headmistress into the library... she had nothing to say so she didn't say a thing instead she just went and found a seat and waited to see if anyone had anything to say to her.

Given that Leo had been making his inquiries right here in the library he hadn't had too far to walk back to the meeting. He was at his best munching down parts of a cinnamon roll when the Headmistress arrived back with parts of her search party. Walking towards her Leo asked after swallowing. "Did you find the book? I've only found vague notes pertaining to an old fairytale book in the library inventory ledgers and i'm not even sure it's the one we are looking for." Given that the library had a number of fairytales by different authors in stock.

"And no glowing book has shown its pink ribbon to me on the shelves." So whereever the book was Leo had not encountered it yet.

James followed the group up the library frowning. He should have just tried to sneak out when he had the chance now he was roped into whatever this is. But he did like adventure so there was that. And he still didn't understand this whole book thing.

When he entered the library his eyes widened when he saw Zoe and he looked behind him. Wasn't she behind him the whole time? He walked over next to her and smiled, "Sneaky Slytherin knows some secret passageways and didn't tell me?"

"OH! Is this about all the students thinking their fairy tale characters?!" He understood. YES! Though...he did enjoy picking on Lux and her Mermaid self. He turned a little red though when he realized how loud he said that and looked at the professors.

Apparently they had all been asked to come back to the library, so up Tiara had come. Though a late addition to the search party efforts, she had still covered some ground. Based on the atmosphere, it was apparent that no one had been successful, unfortunately. Though really, what would anyone have done even if they did find it?

She chuckled at one of her Ravenclaws, who seemed to have had a moment of revelation. "Yes, dear. That is exactly what this is all about. You didn't happen to find the book, did you?" She didn't see it in his hands, but that didn't mean someone else in his group didn't have it.

Having nothing concrete found on the first or second floor other than the noises that a few of them suspected were from the book, Nessa led her little group of searchers back up to the library to report on their level of success and to see what anyone else might have found. Or at least she thought she was leading. She had somehow gotten separated from a few of them - for which she blamed the moving stairs. And as she entered the library again, Nessa noticed quite a few of them already back there, including some from her group.

Giving everyone there a bright smile, she took a seat in one of the squishy beanbag chairs. "So, how did everyone do on their quest?" she asked the group collectively, genuinely curious if anyone had found the book or even a clue. But by the general feel of the room, she already had the idea that no one had any more luck than they did.

Following Professor Cassie back to the library, Lux was hoping that someone had found the fairytale book, but that didn't seem to be the case. With the Headmistress now with them things should be getting down to business, but she didn't really see how when the book in question was still on the loose.

Hearing James, she wondered when he had arrived but then figured that he might have come in with the Headmistress. Hearing his question, she was curious as to if he had made fun of her when she was Ariel; she couldn't remember anything from that time but she wouldn't have put it past him to playfully tease her.

Alexa followed the others into the library, having not finished her huge sandwich she'd taken from the kitchen--but eating in the library was TOTALLY ALLOWED when the Headmistress ordered you from the kitchen and yelled orders at you to join some group she didn't even know what. Sweet Circe this was ridiculous. The Gryffindor took another bite of her multi-layered baby as she approached what looked like a regrouping of people. Had they been searching elsewhere?

Huh.

Then she heard it, this kid talking about fairytale characters and Professor Tanner confirming it. Despite having already swallowed, the Gryffindor's cheeks puffed with an amused laugh that burst out a second after.

"A book? A glowing giggling book." THAT'S what Zander must have been saying down in the kitchens. "And it makes people in fairytales?" HAHAHAHAHHA. "Merlin, aren't we all a little too old for Fairytales." And a deliberate look to the Headmistress who'd said those exact words to her when she'd warned her of this book. "Ancient looking? With a pink ribbon? Oh man, the imagination you guys have."

She straightened some, not done enjoying this because she'd TRIED WARNING AND TOLD PEOLE BUT NO ONE BELIEVED HER. "There's no such thing. It must be something in the water or maybe a disease going around but books? We can think of better than that." Tooooo funny. Lex leaned against the closest shelf and took another bite while she took in the situation some more. "Not saying I've ever seen this book in my entire life or nothin' but if I did then Mr. Kitridge would be right in his talk about a fairytale book being in the ledger. Might be that I found it in the Restricted Section but I'm not saying that either." Mmmmm, this was a good sandwich.

James turned slightly red as the Professor and one of the people in charge of his house asked if he found the book. "Um...no...." Was he supposed to? He didn't even know there was a book until just now. How silly. Also showed how much he didn't pay attention.

He spotted Lux and gave her a small smile and wave. Well he hadn't picked on her TOO badly. He did wonder if she found all the people stealing the silverware though. He snorted out loud at the thought and covered his mouth his eyes wide. Ugh.

Good more talk maybe he could just...stand here then. Ooo that was a good idea. "I agree that sounds like something that'd be found in the restricted section." A weird book that made people think they were princesses and stuff? Yup that would be in there for sure. "I say we should go check it out." And not of course...look at what other things were there. Nope. Not at all. He reached over and grabbed Zoe's hand without thinking. Nothing like a good search party!

Zhenya had been walking as fast as her legs could carry her back with Professor Cassie and the group from the sixth and seventh floors. She was curious if anyone else had found the book, or had even seen the book like they had.

She stood there, curious and listening to everyones stories of their searches, hoping someone had actually found the book.

She looked James way when he asked about a book. A book of fairy tales? She'd heard a rumor about one that was around and that some people had been affected in a weird way by it. She had never laid eyes on it though. She wondered where the book might have gone and if anyone was in further danger of it. She shivered at the memory of the quidditch pitch sinking in and wondered if that had been part of the weirdness of the book? She looked down at James and her hands when he grabbed hers but didn't pull away.

It actually felt a little comforting.

She shook her head when the professors asked if anyone had seen the book. "I haven't." she murmured. Though she'd only been pulled into the search, she hadn't seen it anywhere even before that.

Having not expected nearly this many people in one place, Airey was a bit like a deer in headlights when he entered the book club area of the library. "Sweet solstice," he muttered while blocking the doorway as conversations being had before him were going in one ear and out the other. Although he DID catch the tail end of what Miss Cambridge was saying about the Restricted Section - whoops, he had been the one to give her the permission slip to be in there...GUILT!

Oh...and there was a sandwich in her hand.

"Miss Cambridge, I do not think Mr. Kitridge would appreciate you eating in the library," he said with a pointed look. So she best just shove the rest of the thing in her mouth or else risk it being banished.

"Has anyone here been to the Restricted Section already?" he asked, mostly glancing towards Leobald since this was his domain and the astronomer had only just recently joined the search party after the book had appeared and disappeared on the seventh floor. Which, given the number of people here he had not encountered on the seventh and sixth floors, he could only assume had been poking around elsewhere. "If not, I'm with the Ravenclaw," he concluded, jabbing his thumb in the direction of Mr. Rodemiere.

Ugh. Cinna remembered what happened the last time she came at a book club meeting. It was the night that those chorts attacked and Bay got hurt. The thought made her eyes move over to Lux. She sent her bestie a faint smile.

So yeah, another reason to not read outside of required reading for school. But now she was even starting question the safety of textbooks at this point.

Anddd she was slightly confused. But she soon caught herself up. Oh were those cinnamon rolls? No there was more important things going on right now. That crazy book was probably just chilling out in the restricted section waiting to strike again. "The restricted section, sounds like a good place to start." Yep. Everyone go search there she would watch the food. She was going to stay away from that crazy book.

Catching James' eye, Lux smiled at her friend. He seemed to have a good point about the Restricted Section. It would be worth it to look in there and see if the book could be found. Better for it to be there instead of floating around where other people could be possessed. Watching him grab Zoe's hand she made kissy faces. Haha. He so had a crush on her and it was adorable. Just because it was a book club meeting didn't mean she couldn't observe things about her friend.

At least no one was getting hurt, because she still remembered what happened at the book club last term. The thought of her Lion getting hurt and almost dying made Lux sad so she tried not to think about it. Noticing Cinna, she smiled at her bestie and moved closer to her. "I've never been to the Restricted Section before, but I'm willing to help look there." Juuuuust saying.

Zoe smirked James way when she heard Professor Airey jabbed his thumb towards him. HAH! She didn't mind, she'd sit here with the others and come up with more places the book could have gone to. Her green eyes sparkled as they glanced towards James. Well she was at a loss about where the book could be. She'd never seen it even, so the chance of recognizing it was pretty slim.

She looked over in time to see Lux make a kissy face at James and her? She stared at the younger girl and blinked. Okay what was that about??

James' eyes went wide as everyone kept referencing HIS idea. But it wasn't his idea! Oh no...see he should have just kept quiet. He put on a smile for the prefessor and glanced at Zoe who was SMIRKING?! Oh no she was going with him if he had to go look for a glowing weird book.

Then he looked at Lux and saw the kissy face and turned bright red. He realized he was still holding Zoe's hand and let go and shoved his hand into his pockets. He glared at Lux but refused to look at Zoe because...well that was awkward and his face was still red.

After following the Headmistress all the way back to the library, Zander walked over to situate near the rest of the group. And then, once Lex spoke, Zander felt his mouth drop.

Was she saying that this whole thing was made up?

Honestly Zander had never seen the book before, but he had encountered a Lux who thought she was a mermaid... And he definitely was chasing a glowing, giggling something earlier. Fairy tale book or not, something at Hogwarts was glowing, giggling and poofing in and out of rooms .

And it was messing with him. "But Professor, if it's actually a book... And it knows we're looking for it... Would it really run to the library of all places?" It just didn't make sense to the Gryffindor. The book definitely disappeared because it new they were running after it. That was the only explanation. "Wouldn't that be a little... Predictable?

Jasmine finally made it back to the Library after her group's unsuccessful search for the glowing book. She sat down and listened as the others threw out ideas on how to find the book. The Restricted Section? Jasmine could not deny that she'd always been curious about that area of the library because.......it was restricted and and all. She wouldn't mind taking a peek in there.

What would they do if they actually found the book? That was the real question. Clearly there was some powerful magic involved. She didn't want to be sucked into the fairy tale book forever or anything.

Once again they weren't listening, typical. Very typical and Lex simply munched on her sandwich while they made plans to check the Restricted Section--even though she just said she'd taken it from the Restricted Section. That would imply that it wasn't there anymore, no? Guess not because not even the Ravenclaw caught on. It was just as well. She'd keep quiet until someone bothered to bring in common sense and actually decided to listen. This wasn't her problem, she'd told herself that the moment she tried warning the Headmistress and was dismissed to take a Ravenclaw elsewhere. That was her duty and no one was doing the potty dance so she supposed she wasn't actually needed.

Just hand over her candy bag and she would be on her way. It didn't matter whether they found the book or not. She and Lottie would be leaving in another month and some and they were both the picture of perfect help. If they had to live in constant caution of this book for another term...well that, again, wasn't her problem anymore.

"I have special permission to be eating this sandwich in here, Professor." She informed Professor Airey, not bothered by the pointed look at all by this point. "I asked if I could take the sandwich then the Headmistress yelled at me to follow if I wanted my candy bag." If that wasn't a eat in the library free card she didn't know what else was.

OH oh oh! But Zander was making sense! FINALLY someone. "I agree with Zander, it wants to be read, not locked up. This is the last place it'd turn up." And now she was done giving input. Lex flopped to the floor and bit into her sandwich again. Just waiting on the candy bag Ma'am.
