Bringing in Lady Lux Once in the waiting room, Louis set Lux down on one of the seats. He kneeled beside her so he could see her face-to-face, examining the nasty scrape on her forehead. "Let me see," he said softly, cocking his head to the side to get a better look. Yeah, this was NOT good. He figured the injuries would be simple enough for the healer to fix, but they certainly looked painful and unpleasant. "I'm sorry, Lux. You can hex me if it makes you feel better," he said with a weak smile. "It's nothing Healer Tillstorm can't fix, though." At least there was that. Right? |

Making another attempt to give her friend a smile, she shook her head even though that caused her more pain. "Don't be silly, Lou." He needed to stop blaming herself because this had been HER fault. Looking around the room, she waited for Healer Tillstorm to arrive. |
Once Kace managed to get into the waiting room, his nose was bleeding but it wasn't too severe like in class. He kept a rag near his nose to stop it. He couldn't pinch his nose since he was sure he broke it. He just waited patiently with the professor until the healer came in. He wondered if he had black and blue marks under his eyes? Did he seem pale too? |

Apparently yellow was the new red when it came to Star Trek references. HA! "Here, Mr. Lecium," he said after conjuring an ice pack wrapped in a handkerchief. "Apply this gently to your nose and hold it there until Healer Tillstorm can see you." |

SPOILER!!: Lux and Friend Things had been so quiet in the infirmary that it took Cece by surprise when someone signed in. After checing the book she went to the waiting room to call back her first patient of the term. "Lux Carrington. Please follow me." The girl could walk right? "Your friend can come too if he wants." Or he could wait out here, or leave. It made no difference to the healer. SPOILER!!: Kace & Flamsteed Well this should be a good one. Whenever Professor Flamsteed brought a student in it usually meant an injury in the classroom. Only one way to find out. :Kace, Professor. Follow me." She didn't wait to see if they were behind her. She was pretty sure AIrey knew his way back there by now. |
Coming to the third floor after being outside, Cassie slowly took off her gloves and examined her stinging fingers and hands. The skin was very dry and very red. They hurt to move and she couldn't believe just being out the time they were out made them feel this bad. She tried to keep her smile on though knowing that there were possibly some students that needed reassuring that everything would be alright. Looking behind her she wanted to make sure they had followed, if not she'd have to talk to Cece about them anyway. No way was anyone getting sick or hurt on her watch. This meeting was to help creatures from being harmed, not help students be harmed. |
Professor Morgan Coming to the waiting area, Penelope looked at her fingers. They were very red, and she was still really cold. Her fingers hurt and the skin was dry. She couldn't believe that anything could be as cold as it was outside. The whomping willow could have injured her, but if there was anything wrong, she didn't notice it above the pain of her fingers and toes and the cold. Penelope had never really been exposed to any weather below the freezing temperature of water, so she was scared of the idea of getting frostbite from being out in the cold. Was she going to be alright? "Professor, will everything be alright?" Even without the snow and the frostbite she was sure she was going to freeze to death. It was really cold here. |

After crossing their names off the list she called them back. "Professor Morgan, and Penelope, please come back so we can get you warmed up." |
Usually when Lux didn't see Bay it didn't make her worry because she KNEW that he was okay and either in his Common Room or hanging out with his friends. But this was different. The last time she had seen him, he was heading into the Forbidden Forest with Mr. Kitridge after the mysterious sparks had gone off. Wanting to make sure that she was okay, she was unable to find him anywhere from the dungeons to the seventh floor. Cinnamon had even checked the Gryffindor Common Room. The school was in lock down - so he couldn't be outside - and the only place they hadn't searched was the Hospital Ward. Which explained why she was here right now. Entering the waiting room, she called out for Healer Tillstorm. Not shouting of course, because she knew better than that. But she wanted to ask the Healer if she had seen Bay. This was the only place left to look, because otherwise her fear of him being eaten by an Acromantula had become a realty. Not wanting to even think about that, she took a seat in one of the chairs and waited for the Healer to arrive. It might take a while since the woman's job was so important and she might be busy. Lux would wait if she necessary. |
This is how Emmy is when she doesn't eat candy. Three horrible things have happened this month already. One, she ran out of candy last week. Two, Bay was attacked by God knows what and lastly Cinnamon had run out of candy for the third year to take from her. Long story short Emmylou was very grumpy and she was never grumpy. Seeing as she still hadn't heard anything about her best friend Bay from her other best friend Luxness she had to take matters into her own hands, her tiny hands. The third year Gryffindor walked into the waiting room area or whatever it was called at Hogwarts. She had a hard time making her way here because she hadn't needed to go here at all. |
Where was Healer Tillstorm? The woman was taking ages and Lux was trying so hard to keep her composure when she was tempted to burst into different rooms and demand to see her boyfriend. He HAD to be here. Had to. There was nowhere else he could be. The longer she waited, the more Lux worried. Sniffling, she called out for the healer again. Louder this time. "Healer Tillstorm!" This was urgent. There was a worried Hufflepuff fretting about her boyfriend. Wiping her eyes, she heard as Emmy arrived and demanded to know what had happened to Bay. She must have heard about him not being found anywhere after heading into the forest. "Emmy, I'm so worried. If this is the only place I haven't checked that means he was hurt." Right?! Or was she just being paranoid? Please let it just be paranoia.... |
Both you loud, obnoxious children To say Healer Tillstorm was not in a good mood right now was an understatement. In fact, she was downright furious with whoever it was that thought it was appropriate to be yelling like a banshee. Crossing her arms over her chest she glared at the two girls in the room. "In case you haven't noticed, this is a hospital, NOT the quidditch pitch. I suggest you take your yelling somewhere else before I throw you in the dungeons to rot in detention!" A bit extreme, maybe. But Cecelia Tillstorm would not tolerate this kind of behavior from anyone. |
There she was! And she looked MAD. Lux was worried that would happen if there was yelling; why she had managed to keep her tone more in check than Emmy. She was not about to jeopardize being able to see Bay. "Please, Healer Tillstorm. I'm looking for my boyfriend. He went into the Forbidden Forest with Mr. Kitridge." If he was in the hospital ward - which had to be the case - she wanted to see him. Or at least know if he was okay. |
She was looking for her boyfriend? Well apparently she was in the wrong place for that. The only male patients she had at this time were Mr. Kitridge and Victor. Both of whom were obviously too old for this child. Wait, he went out into the forest? Did this mean there was another student out there? Someone the other professors didn't know Kitridge had taken out with him? "Who exactly is your boyfriend?" Because clearly the healer was not a mind reader here. |
Who was her boyfriend? Lux was a little surprised at the question, because she had assumed that Healer Tillstorm would know based on who had entered the Forbidden Forest. Or was Bay NOT there? Was he still lost outside somewhere? Or... dead?! Trying not to panic, she said, "Victor Bay. Have you seen him?" |
She was kidding right. There was no way she was the girlfriend of Victor Bay. She was but a young girl no older than thirteen or fourteen, and Victor, well he had to be nearing seventeen if he wasn't already there. Clearly this was a case of this child having a crush on an older student. Clearly. "First off Miss Carrington," Yes, healer Tillstorm remembers who you are. "coming in here and yelling is no way to find out about anyone that is in my care." Like she had already stated, that was only going to earn her a detention. "And yes, I have seen Mr. Bay." And that was all she was getting out of her because again, she wasn't a mind reader and the girl had only asked if she seen the boy. :mwaha: |
Being reprimanded made Lux feel bad; she didn't want to be in trouble because that would mean she couldn't see Bay. "I didn't mean to yell. I'm sorry. I'm just worried about my boyfriend." VERY worried about him. Worried sick. "The last time I saw him was when he headed out to the Forest, and usually when I don't see him I know he's okay. But this time was different." For obvious reasons. Any girlfriend would be worried sick in her place, she was sure. So she HAD seen Bay. "Is he okay? Is he in one of the hospital rooms?" And most importantly, could she see him? Lux was scared to voice that last part aloud, but she was hoping that Tillstorm would let her see him. |
A bit of Emmy in her too Finally the girl seemed to be coming to her senses, at least about the yelling stuff. Now what about her little friend there? Cece looked over at the other girl as if to say, 'Well, what do you have to say for yourself?'. She knew all that yelling hadn't been coming from just one person. But for now, back to the one who thinks she has a boyfriend. "Just because you have some little crush on an older student does not mean you need to be going around calling him your boyfriend. From now on you will refer to him by his name. Is that understood?" And that name was NOT boyfriend. "As for him being okay... he is sleeping." Well it was true. He was sleeping, sort of, in an unconscious sort of way. "So before you ask, no, you can not go see him. I will not have anyone disturbing him right now." Especially some crazy stalker girl who thought she was his girlfriend. The girl seriously needed to find a boy her own age to have a little crush on. |
Wait, what? Lux was so confused by what the Healer was telling her. "But he IS my boyfriend. We've been dating since the beginning of last July." What was Tillstorm talking about? It wasn't exactly a secret that they were together; as far as she knew, a lot of people were aware of it because she had nothing to hide. ... And she couldn't see him. Sigh. "He's asleep? Other than that is he okay? Can you tell me anything about what happened to Him?" It was so upsetting that she couldn't see him, but if he was okay, that would at least help to reassure her. |
Was this girl stupid or what? What part of call him by his name did she not understand? "That is enough out of you about this matter. Maybe I'll have a little chat with your parents to let them know of this little obsession you seem to have with someone who is way to old for you." And trust her, she would let the girls parents know about this. It wouldn't be the first time she contacted parents about situations with their students. "And no, I will not be telling you anything about his condition. You are nether his parents or his guardians, therefore you have no right knowing anything that is happening with him at this time." In fact, she would not be releasing any information about him to any students. "Now I think it is time for you and your little friend there to leave." Before she got really angry and started deducting points. Go. Shoo. Leave. The boy did not need some crazed stalker puff bothering him. |
Okay, now Lux was getting more upset. Healer Tillstorm was acting as if she was a nutter. Ugh. Reaching into her bag, she pulled out a magical picture of her and Bay. "See, he's my boyfriend. And my parents already know." So did his parents and her siblings. The picture had to prove it to the woman because they were holding hands, but if that wasn't enough, she could pull out one of them kissing. The fact that she was being sent away without knowing about his condition made her tear up. "I'm so worried about him. I was scared he'd get eaten by an Acromantula ever since he left because my friends Lucas and Abbi encountered some last term." |
This girl was really starting to get on Cece's very last nerve. She snatched the picture out of the girl's hand but didn't bother looking at it. "Do you think I care about some little picture you have? A picture proves nothing to me." Anyone could have a picture of them with someone else. Hell, Cece had pictures of her and Professor Flamsteed together but that didn't mean they were dating. "Now I believe I told you it was time for you to leave and that's what I meant. Go take your tears somewhere else. I do not have time for them here. I have work to do." With that she turned to head to the back again. "Oh, and I'll be keeping this," she said waving the picture over her shoulder. She was sure that would hurt more than taking points from the girl. |
Healer Tillstorm was so MEAN. She wasn't letting Lux see or know about Bay, and now she was keeping the picture of them. She hadn't been lying, he was her boyfriend. And she was so very very worried about him. He had been attacked by something - that much was clear to her - and now he was asleep. That did not sound good at all. Nor did the fact that she wasn't telling Lux anything. "Keep it, I have other ones." Sniffling, she rushed out of the room. |
