The classroom is certainly not as you had left it last. Professor Bellaire was able to successfully calm the raging storm (after a long and cold search for her wand) and restore some semblance of order to the room. Of course it's morning, it's early and it's really cold but it's about to get worst because the classroom is now covered in beautiful powdery snow and for those who had gotten their cloud to work, their clouds were patiently waiting for them and gently snowing. It's definitely a winter wonderland in here.
There are picket fences and stools located around the classroom but of course you know the rules by now don't you? Professor Bellaire is waiting for you and so are your cloud.
There is also a note on the board from the Professor: Quote:
For those of you who had not gotten your clouds to work, you'll be picking up from there today.

| doesn't proofread tweets | #wrongaboutcereal | #siriusly? | emo to the extremo Okay so his rose attempt was pretty miserable, but he would make it up with this next ice flower! YEAH! He could totally do this transfiguration thing. No problem. Yeah. Okay. Now, what kind of flower was he going to make exactly... A DAISY! Yes, a daisy. Perfect.
.... What do daisies look like?
Okay. It's hard trying to make ice flowers when you don't even know about the regular kind. He'd just have to stick with roses for now. That way, he could perfect them! Yeah. He could become a rose expert. Could he use that on a job application? Okay, off topic. So yes. Wand in hand and "Orchideous Stiriacus!" AH! YES!! Finally. Something decent. Holding it up in the air, Zander noticed that it looked a bit... off? Why was it so tiny!? It was like an ickle baby. An ickle baby ice rose. Gah. Why did he even try?

Leah was excited with her first success and was ready to try more. This was not just about the lesson, more about learning how to conjure ice flowers and make an ice garden! The Hufflepuff thought about different types of flowers. What could she make? Ice.. Tulip! She concentrated on making a tulip come out of her wand.
She was confident that she could do this this time. The second year had her picture of the tulip stuck firmly in her head as she cleared her throat and said clearly, "Orchideous Stiriacus!" Leah moved her wand in a clockwise semi-circle. An ice tulip popped out of her wand. It was bigger than her first jasmine flower. Yay, she was improving. Leah knelt down on the snow and added her tulip to the garden.

| ~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes. "Orchideous Stiriacus!'' Adi said for what felt like the thousandth time and concentrated on another daisy. A minute or so later, he was plucking the ice flower from the wand's tip. "Orchideous Stiriacus!'' Adi did the right wand movement while concentrating on another rose. Soon he had one. It was so awesome to see he was getting the hang of this spell.
So now the third year had six flowers in total. Two of each. He planted the last three he had conjured before standing back to admire the garden. It could do with some more flowers. Yep.

Sophie carefully scooped up the icy rise she'd conjured then carried it to a flat patch of ground. With a gloved hand, she pushed away the ice, making a good-sized hole in the ground. She carefully placed the icy rose into it then packed the snow back in. She backed away and looked at the rose. It was still standing and looked sturdy, so she left it there and decided to have another go at the spell.
Sophie moved her wand in the way she'd been taught. "Orchideous Stiriacus!" she said. She didn't want another rose, though. This time, she pictured an icy tulip, which was another favorite flower of hers. There was a pause, and then the tulip began to form. When it was done, she was holding a pretty, icy tulip in her hands. Time to plant this one!

Once again she could see the matter forming from nothing. Conjuring was an odd branch of transfiguration when you really thought about it. You could get something from literally nothing so long as you had the idea firmly planted in your mind and the right amount of concentration. It came with the same curiosity as the vanishing spells and the question of where the items went only this time it was where they came from. The plain answer was magic. Dare she'd question it any further? Not while casting. That might only complicate things when she finally got the hang of it all.
These three she'd managed to conjure would go next to the rest of the creeping zinnias she'd made. It did occur to her that after that batch she'd need to think of something else. A whole row of them was enough. Lex could have a few more of them, just further down the garden maybe.
She got on her knees again to add these to the snow. The last ended up just outside the circle but it was fine, not like the circle was completely a legit thing in the first place.

Leah was ready to try the spell one more time. This was getting fun. She scanned the garden and saw all the different types of ice flowers. It was simply beautiful. She decided to focus on lilies. "Orchideous Striacus!" she said, accompanied by the wand movement. Hmm, nothing happened. Well, everyone makes mistakes, right? "Orchideous Stiriacus!" the Hufflepuff tried, picturing an ice lily being conjured out of her wand. She drew a semi-circle in the clockwise direction with her wand. Yay, a lily was appearing at the end of her wand. But it was.. deformed? One side of the flower was BLACK. Leah frowned, but bent down and planted the flower nevertheless. She patted the snow where the flower was at, as if to encourage it to grow.

Angel was totally happy about this, she was watching Leah create a few flowers and now she wanted to do a lily flower for herself, she thought it would be cool if she could make one because she totally loved them and thought they were amazing.
"Orchideous Stiriacus!" Angel smiled as she raised her wand and then drew a semi-circle in the clockwise direction, she beamed as it worked again and out came a lily, she decided to plant the flower because it was amazing. "That's my favourite flower Leah." Angel beamed.

Sophie gently carried the icy tulip around the room in search of a place to plant it. She finally found an unoccupied patch of ground that was flat enough for the tulip to nicely live. She bent down and used a gloved hand to scoop out a piece of the snow. When a good-sized hole had formed, Sophie placed the tulip into the hole then packed the snow around it again.
Standing back, she looked at the tulip with pride. The ice garden was starting to look really good, and she was responsible for two flowers and a snow cloud. She looked around the room and noted that class didn't seem to be ending anytime soon. She guessed she could have a third go at making an icy flower then.

| ♥s her SS family l Wifey is MINE | Naughty Niffler l Whittysaur l #awkwardturtle<# Now Lux was really starting to have a nice garden going with a few flowers. She was so happy because she loved gardens. They were so pretty. Maybe one day she would be able to make her own and have tons of lilies in it because they were the best flowers in her opinion.
Deciding to make another one, she pictured what she wanted to look like in her head and performed the wand movement. "Orchideous Stiriacus!" There, another lily to add into the garden. Affectionately she planted it in the snow. |

What flower didn't she have in her garden yet? Jasmine thought about it for a moment and decided that she wanted to conjure an iris next. She pictured the pretty, tall flower and let the vision settle in her mind.
When she felt ready, Jasmine made a clockwise semicircular movement with her wand. As her wand moved, she said, "Orchideous Stiriacus". Once again, the ice started to emerge from her wand and slowly formed itself into an iris. Satisfied with that flower, Jasmine bent down and planted it in her ever growing garden.

After planting the last of them, Lex got up, stood back and got a proper look at all she'd planted. Could they like...add some colour to these? The Professor said she wanted variety but with these all being made of ice, if you didn't look hard enough they still all looked alike. Kinda defeated the purpose, you know? Perhaps she'd suggest this at the end of the class. See if Bellaire could make one big spring look out of the whole of it.
The Gryffindor took the briefest of glances around the room, trying to figure what kind of flower she'd make next. Now she was thinking she should have spent more time in Amanda's garden but snort like that would ever happen. She had better things to do with her time, thank you very much.
Roses, though. Those were always nice to have in a garden, yeah? Her neighbour always cussed when they used to trample hers. If those weren't the signs of a prized plant then she didn't know what was so these would be great for their ice garden.
First, picture the plant...get the concentration going....think roses. Nothing but roses. Focus. "Orchideous Stiriacus."

| ~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes. "Orchideous Stiriacusi!'' Adi said and making the clockwise semicircular movement with his wand. He was focusing on more carnations as he wanted to have enough to form a nice big bunch. He had to repeat the spell a couple of times but in the end he had conjured up six more to join the two previous one. There! A bouquet or a bunch of them.
Now, how about more daisies and roses?

So wait... they were making ice flowers? It seemed like fun, but Hazel had never heard those two words together. She'd always thought of flowers as very springtime plants, and here they were making them out of ice. Still, it looked interesting.
She pulled out her wand and cleared her throat. "Or-chi-de-ous Stir-ia-cusi," she said, hoping she was saying it correctly. "Or-chi-de-ous Stir-ia-cusi." It was a bit of a mouthful for the third year, and it was hard for her to pronounce. She tried putting it together. "Orchideous Stiriacusi." She stumbled a bit towards the end, but she felt ready to make some ice flowers. "Orchideous Stiriacusi!" she said, waving her wand in a clockwise semicircle. Nothing really happened, but it seemed to be a bit colder near the tip of her wand. She wondered if that was a good sign.

Why did they have to make this ice stuff anyway? There was enough of it outside for Marisol's taste. "Orkeedeeos Steereeacos!" Mari said. Her wand coughed out a couple thorns. Then a wilted ice-rose. Maybe she was going about this the wrong way. At Ollivander's, her wand had produced a heap of daffodils of its own accord. Could she channel that into icy foliage? Work with the wand? "Orkeedeeos Steereeacos!" Marisol closed her eyes. She envisioned a pile of transparent, ice-cold daffodils falling delicately into the snow. Mari opened her eyes hesitantly. One daffodil lay in a sea of white, almost drowned. Not her expectations, but it would certainly do.

| urine trouble | Pat's Strong Confident Other Half | Pees Like a Champion Unicorn Racehorse Trying again sounded like the only thing he could do right now. There was no way that he was going to be the only person here who didn't have a garden.
Even if he didn't really want one.
Grayson took a moment to stretch out his arms. Stretch them riiiiiiight out so that he was ready for his next try. Because he WAS going to get it this time. Did it matter what kind of flower he wanted? Probably not. He didn't even know many names of flowers, apart from.......... roses and violets. And dandelions, because of the pollen issue in the summer.
He hated those. Freaking nuisances.
Squeezing his eyes shut, the fourteen year old tried his hardest to think of the flower he wanted to produce. Not a dandelion, hopefully. Maybe a rose. Roses were alright, he supposed. "Orchideous Stiriacus!" he said, moving his wand in a semi-circle in the clockwise direction.
The boy blinked his eyes open and looked over at the tip of his wand which........... was turning whiter! SWEET MERLIN. And then it seemed as if the wand was growing longer and longer until..............
................... heh. He had a rose!
And what was the first thing Grayson was going to do? Hold his wand and flower up in the air. Uh huh.

Sophie had two flowers planted by this point--one rose and one tulip. They kind of looked lonely over there just sprouting up from the ice all by themselves. Class was still going on, so she decided to have a third go at the spell. She was an old pro at it by now. "Orchideous Stiriacus!" she said, moving her wand in the appropriate direction. This time, she focused on another rose, and since she'd gotten better at the spell throughout the class, the rose appeared. She grinned and laid it by her feet as she tried the spell again. "Orchideous Stiriacus!" she said.
She repeated this until she had five roses. With the other rose she'd already planted, she now had a half dozen roses. Now to plant the last five.

Things were progressing nicely enough but a glance at her watch told her they had run out of time. Professor Bellaire walked through the students once more. It was good to know they could produced variety when asked. For a second she could have sworn someone had been daft enough to plant a wreath but the Professor ignored it as she continued her walk around the class. "Very good everyone." She concluded, coming to a stop at her desk once more. The garden was brilliant work now. She had expected nothing less. "I'm afraid that's all the time we have for today. This garden looks simply stunning." Hard to believe some of them had helped and others hadn't managed to ruin things. Not looking at any Gryffindors in particular. "Gather your things then you may leave in an orderly fashion. Do not trample the flowers on your way out. As reward for your hard work there will be no homework. Have a good day."
Sophie reached for her wand and vanished the eye sores in the otherwise amazing garden. "Do try to keep warm."
