Cris peeked in and was glad class hadn't started yet. He remembered Sander mentioning how Professor Bellaire particular was about cleanliness and etiquette. So before he stepped in, he tucked his shirt into his pants, cleaned his shoes, smoothed down any errant hair strands down. Giving himself a once over examination to make sure everything was neat and in place, Cris stepped into the classroom. Walking over to where the Professor was standing, Cris gave her a smile and greeted her. "Hello Professor Bellaire. My name is Cristoffer Strand and I'm looking forward to your lesson," Cris informed the Transfiguration Professor. Then he turned around and quickly walked over to where Jasmine was standing, together with Bay and Lux. Giving each of them a smile and a nod, he stood quietly waiting to be told what to do next. As he waited he read what was written on the board. Interesting, very interesting, Cris thought to himself. |
Oh freaking Merlin, why so EARLY?! Fine, it was 'school' and whatever and MAYBE he shouldn't have stayed up so late trying to charm paper aeroplanes but this lesson was still taking place at stupid o'clock and he didn't like it. He'd almost ended up oversleeping. Jeez. This school thing was hard, man. When was Friday evening going to roll around? Since it had taken him too long to get himself out of bed, Grayson found himself running to the sixth floor hastily trying to adjust his robes and tie because merlin forbid that they should be hanging off of him so loosely. When that was done, the fourth year slowed his pace to a walk and took a minute or two to fiercely chomp down on the piece of toast he had unceremoniously stuffed into his mouth. Couldn't come to a lesson without breakfast, you know. Ready? Set? Enter. ................ Okay. People were STANDING. And the desks were lined to the side. Maybe this was a good thing; he was less likely to fall asleep if he was standing up. And the woman was the Professor, yes? Stern looking one, she was. "Good morning, Professor." He gave her a nod and a small smile before walking off to stand somewhere near the middle of the classroom. Just somewhere. What were they even meant to do? Stand? Wait? Look pretty? He was going to get bored. Instead, his blue eyes landed on the board where he raised an eyebrow at the words 'ice menagerie' but inwardly cringed at the word 'project'. Please make this a fun one. |
A little nervously Lux made her way over to the Transfiguration classroom. She liked the Professor, but there was no doubt that the woman was STRICT. First things first, she had made sure her clothing was clean and up to code. Smile on her face, she addressed the scowling woman. "Hello, Professor!" Not even questioning the set up of the class or the topic of the lesson, she went over to where Bay and her friends were. They each got a smile and a wave, but she was scared to talk much when the Professor was scowling. |
Gwen knew that Professor Bellaire didn't like them to look tired or mention being tired, so she didn't, though she was. As long as she didn't think about how tired she was she could avoid yawning and drooping. Maybe. It was her own fault anyway. She'd been thinking too much and hadn't fallen asleep until well past her normal bedtime. So it was fake-it-until-you-feel-awake time. "Good morning, Professor!" Gwen said brightly choosing a spot in the middle of the classroom but not sitting. The chairs and desks were all on the side of the room. Bellaire always seemed to be in a foul mood. Gwen wondered if maybe she hated kids. Or mornings. Either way, she'd chosen the wrong profession if she didn't enjoy those sorts of things. Also there seemed to be a disagreement going on about hair. Gwen didn't really get that. Maybe because she had a brother who had had long hair for as long as she could remember. If girls could have long hair or short hair as they chose, boys should get the same option. This was discrimination or something. Gwen considered speaking up, but she really didn't want to break her streak of not losing any points, so she stayed quiet. Maybe she would write an anonymous note to Professor Bellaire about it after classes. |
The seventeen year-old had barely set a foot in the door when he heard the professor Oh, and she was donning a scowl on her face. Errr.....was she always like this? The real question was whether it'd be safer to keep his mouth shut or actually introduce himself. He did a quick check over his uniform to see if anything was out of place or anything that might upset her and then, CAUTIOUSLY, walked over to his new Transfiguration professor. "Er, hello, Professor. I'm Declan Hazelwood. I'm new here." CHARMING GRIN. |
Transfiguration was weird. Well not really. Kyroh couldn't be sure of that just yet. All he knew was that this Professor was one that he was not suppose to anger. Kyroh walked along rubbing his sleepy eyes as he made his way to the classroom. It probably wasn't a good idea to be rubbing both eyes at the same time. Actually it was a completely horrible idea. It was probably exactly why the first year missed the door to the classroom completely and collided straight with the wall on the left hand side. Owwwwwww. Blinking a few times, Kyroh gave his head a quick rub and made his way through the actual door. "G'morning Professor!" The first year chimed as if he had not just hit his head so hard that he was seeing stars. "My name's Kyroh Scabior. I'm a first year!" Just so she KNEW you know? Annnd...why was she not smiling? "What's wrong? Do you need a hug?" |
The new girl introduced himself. That Ravenclaw one. Gareth supposed he was considered new too and he surely didn't know this woman with a grumpy face. Then was he supposed to introduce himself too? Meh... He was not going to bother. Nope. Stuffing the last bit of his breakfast sandwich in his mouth, the Slytherin boy wiped his breakfasty hands on his robes and walked in the classroom. Not looking at anyone, he directly made his way towards the desk at the very end, away from anyone else, chewing and enjoying what was left from his sandwich as he walked. He dropped his bag on the desk and plopped himself on the seat. Ice Menagerie? Wut? |
It was about that time again and Cutty snipped no corners when it came to Transfiguration. Don't play. He even cleaned under his fingernails and the robes had been "Good morning, Professor Bellaire." He greeted his Transfiguration Professor before taking his place somewhere without an obstructed view. He wanted to see everything and the first thing he saw related to the class, aside from Bellaire herself were the words: Ice Menagerie Garden. Sounded artistic. |
Transfiguration was always a class that needed extra preparation before hand. It was also rather early in the morning. So after getting breakfast, Benny had made sure he had everything he needed for the lesson before double-checking his appearance to make sure it was as best as he could get it. No trouble was what he wanted and Professor Bellaire was a stickler. Entering the classroom, the Gryffindor took note of the classroom and the location of the woman in question before moving further inside. "Good morning, Professor," he greeted politely yet tentatively seeing her scowl. He then moved to stand beside a free desk, silently hoping her apparent bad mood wasn't going to make class terrible. |
Kevin was rubbing his right eye and tried his best not to yawn at the ridiculous early time they had this lesson. Couldn't all classes be during the day instead of in the morning? At least they would be awake right? He entered the room with a loud yawn and turned his attention towards the Professor who was waiting for the other students to arrive. And she was scowling...of course. "This class should be on another time" he muttered under his breath before looking up at the Professor. "....Hello" he said , giving a TINY smile before he turned around to find a seat. When he found one, the Gryffindor almost sat down but then remembered that they shouldn't so he stepped next to the desk. Looking down, he realised that his uniform wasn't that tidy but who cared? He liked it this way. |
Penelope was not a morning person, but she was able to get out of bed early enough for transfiguration. Waking up early was not something that Penelope liked, but at least transfiguration was on the sixth floor, not too far for the Ravenclaw girl to walk. Uniform wrinkle free and hair braided, Penelope walked into the class. "Good morning, Professor Bellaire. My name is Penelope." Excited for the lesson, Penelope looked at the board. This would be an interesting lesson. |
All Elodie had wanted to do that morning was wait around for an important letter, but seeing as she had a class to attend...she'd had to take a few hours out of her desperate letter waiting day. It was cool, though. She actually liked Transfiguration. Indifferent feelings about the Professor, but..she could deal. "Good morning, Professor Bellaire." She'd have added that the woman looked well, but when she'd said the very same thing to the Headmistress she'd gotten a LOOK. A look that she'd explained to her brother via letter and he'd said that she probably thought she was hinting that she'd had some work done. Had they? Did Professors get work done on their faces? She'd try inspect Bellaire later. She stood behind an empty desk and waited. Ice.. Fitting, given the woman teaching them today. |
Mornings... Why o why had SOMEBDOY thought about giving lessons in the MORNING! Any normal human liked it to sleep longer so WHY were the first classes always staring early in the morning? Pfff... Sonea flipped her hair over her shoulder and stepped into the classroom with her two rats hidden inside her pocket, she always had ignored the school rules so this year there was no difference! No, she had missed it to break some rules while she had been homeschooled! So with a sneaky grin she looked around her, she saw the teacher standing by her desk so, being a good Slytherin she nodded to the professor and faked a friendly smile. "Hello professor" spoke she and than she saw the information on the board and she frowned... She didn't hoped that she needed to work hard now during this lesson, she hated it to work because... because... Working was boring and she didn't wanted to be bored! So, still deep in thought she walked to a empty seat and sat down, waiting for the lesson to start... |
Early on in the day and the professor was already scowling. This is why Beverly sort of liked the woman. She spread firmness with just a look on her face. You know, the world needed strong women like these. Not the loud "Oh my Merlin! I broke a nail!" type. Maybe it had to do with the way she was raised, but looks like that didn't faze Beverly Wayne. "Morning, professor Bellaire," she greeted politely as she walked in, a neutral expression on her face. Her gaze fell on the board. Ice menagerie garden. That...sounded quite interesting. The first thing she thought of was icicle little minions. She'd like some of those. Minions. |
Time for Transfiguration. This class was always interesting. He was interested seeing objects being able to transform into useful objects. As he made his way to the classroom with his backpack bumping behind him, he noticed other students managed to make it here early. He smiled to them and then he turned his head and noticed the Professor was sitting in front of the class. He smiled and nodded towards her, "Good morning Professor, I trust you are well.." he said politely. Once he said his greeting, he managed to find his seat and sat down. He took out his notebook from his bag and was ready to take notes. But in the mean time he doodled in it for fun. |
The early morning class was killing Arielle. She was NOT a morning person, and especially being in a class this early was going to kill her. I mean why would a teacher want to get up this early either? Everybody needs their sleep. So Arielle reluctantly walked into the classroom, dragging her feet and had a dirty look on her face. She sat down in the very back row of seats, not making eye contact with anybody and putting her head down on her desk. She'd get back up when class started, no big deal, right? |
Maddie was SUPER good at reading people, one of her MANY talents, so as SOON as she saw Professor Bellaire's face, she KNEW she was a no-nonsense kind of lady. Maddie's mum was like that TOO so she didn't really mind, just something that was GOOD to know about a person. The first year smoothed her hair and smiled politely at the woman, head tilted to the side. "Hello Professor, I'm Maddie Cooper." YUP. And they didn't do the sitting thing in this class or? The small brunette gave a SMILE to KYROH and then went and STOOD beside a seat cause standing was a THING, apparently. |
Caleb was looking nice and fresh for Transfiguration, not because he always had to look dapper for Bellaire or anything, but because he wasn't a heathen and always looked nice. Just because he was a dude didn't mean he had to look like he had just rolled out of bed or whatever. "Good day, Professor," he said with a small smile. He lifted his hands to his hair and was quite glad that it wasn't QUITE to West and Nigel's hair length just yet. He didn't think he'd be able to get it in a ponytail even if he tried. |

Why was everyone standing, though? There was a seat right next to them! Right there! Could they SEE them? ... huh hugs what? "Hi ma'am! My name's Dima Toussaint! I'm a real good hugger too, so if you need TWO hugs, then I'm your guy! Or your second guy!" 'Cause Kyroh was the first one, and his hugs were probably so good they COUNTED as two of them anyway! Yeah! |
Arista skipped to the Transfiguration class. She was excited, just like the other classes. She had managed to wake up in a good mood today, even though she was not a morning person. She had to literally roll out of bed too! So it was surprising that she was even in a skipping mood. She was put in order, not because she had read the rules but because lady's were always in order and never had a hair out of place! So with her appearance in order she entered the classroom. Stopping her skipping because that was not how lady's entered the room..Or that's what her mum said. "Good morning, Professor." she greeted. Oh look she looked upset, "I am Arista Royal. The first year added with a curtsy, because again lady's did that! Hearing the other kids talking, "Oh you want hugs??!! I am great at hugs too! She smiled a big grin towards the Professor! |
Zander quickly walked into the Transfiguration classroom. He was a little bit frazzled and his hair was EVERYWHERE. This was his third year at Hogwarts, and he STILL got lost on his way to classes. How pitiful was he? As he walked by Professor Bellaire he tried his best to fix his hair, but the same couldn't be said about his pink face. " 'mornin Professor," He managed to say in between breathes. It was going to be a long day. But why is she scowling? What's wrong? Was she upset about Quidditch too? |
The only subject Sophie did not have a liking for just had to be the class of the one professor she also did not have a liking for. The thought of walking into the transfiguration classroom and seeing the always-moody Bellaire was less than thrilling, but she couldn't get better at the subject if she didn't go, right? ...Well. Not necessarily. But her grades were on the line, and she had a lot of people to prove herself to, so there she was, brushing a single scuff off her shoes to make them shine, smoothing every wrinkle out of her clothes, and brushing every piece of lint or hair off her clothes before she reached the classroom door. She was going to look as aaaabsolutely perfect and spotless as possible - she'd never given Bellaire a reason to single her out as prey and she wasn't going to start now. Too risky. She might end up dead. Entering the classroom when she was certain she was a model student of cleanliness, Sophie put on a smile as she made eye contact with the professor. "Good morning, professor," the third year gave the slightest of curtsies - was there such a thing as too polite? - and she found a spot near Tobes, but she did not sit. No, no. Never sitting. ...Who was going to save that poor young Slytherin at the back of the classroom who didn't seem to know better yet, though? And Kace? And... were those kids really going to hug Bellaire? Poor things. |

"I tried ma'am... there isn't enough to tuck." West said politely enough. Quote:
---- And Ves was here now... and standing next to him... and Bellaire wasn't saying anything about it so neither would West. Ahem. He kept his mouth shut on that matter. |

"Morning Professor." He said in greeting as he found a place to stand. Right next to the guy who'd had a slight disagreement with Zahra in the common room. |
Gwen really had been very over excited by everything at Hogwarts. As a result she had a hard time sleeping. It took its toll in due time but she really did not want to miss any classes regardless. So she trudged out of bed, put on her robes, and headed straight for the transfiguration classroom stumbling around a bit before finally finding it. She entered the classroom and yawned as she took her place amongst the other students not even noticing the professors scowl. |
