Bay was moving through the corridors to go hunt down the food trolly. He forgot to eat lunch, well more like he didn't have time to eat because of all the usual last minute packing. He had promised to bring something back for Lux, the only person he hasn't see yet was Louis he wondered where his best mate was.

Ziggy his blue Pygmy puff was sitting on his shoulder as he tried to make his way through the crowd.

Nola was slowly walking the corridor of the train by herself. She was still in her extremely mix matched muggle clothing and was trying her hardest to stay out of the way of everyone else. She felt like she was getting in the way everywhere she turned.

Since she wasn't paying attention to making sure her shoe laces were constantly tied, Nola tripped over her now untied laces and landed face first on the floor of the train corridor. "Well. This isn't good, is it?" She mused to herself, still laying on the floor.

Stepping out of her compartment to walk around a little, Lux could feel her stomach grumbling; even after eating a few sandwiches, she was still hungry. There were some left in the bag still, but she did not want to eat them all now, and Bay had told her that he would bring her back something from the food trolley.

Not paying much attention to her surroundings, the sudden THUD!! Lux heard startled her. Looking around, she saw Nola a few feet away, faceplanted on the floor. "Oh goodness."

Concerned, she made her way over to the young girl and bent over her. "Are you okay, Nola?" She seemed to be, but one could never be too sure. Hopefully the Healer wouldn't be needed or anything.

*Making his way down the hall Rom tried to not bump into the older student ahead of him. But in doing this he tripped over a very small student that had bent down. Smashing face first into a compartment glass door he soon saw that he left a very attractive smudge/spit mark on a window full of girls.*
"Ow..."
*He said as he peeled himself off the glass and waved an apology to the girls who looked like a dead bug had gone splat on their window instead of a boy. Ehhh same thing to them maybe.
Turning to the one he tripped over he saw that another student was now there to help. The one he tripped over looked like a first year.*
"Hey, you okay?"

Still laying on the floor, Nola relaxed her muscles and realized that she was actually kind of comfortable. She saw a shadow as someone approached her. Then there was a voice. "Lux, is that you?" Nola asked though she didn't bother looking up. "I'm fine. Oddly enough, comfortable at the moment." She smiled into the floor.

Nola was getting ready to sit up from where she was laying on the floor when something found her side. Nola sucked in air as the pain from someone tripping over her throbbed in her side.

Slowly Nola sat up and held a hand to her side. "The shoelaces." She said fighting back tears. She would not allow herself to cry on the train. "I've never liked shoelaces." Nola said as she kicked her shoes off and admired her bright blue socks.

*When the girl chucked her shoes Rom tried to not laugh. The girl looked very upset.*
"Sadly shoes are a part of the school uniform and needed to operate properly in our society."
*Seeing the girl grab her side Romulus bent down and held a hand out to her.*
"I'm sorry if I hurt you. Can I help you up?"

Bay wasn't even paying attention thats when he saw this younger-ish boy banging into everything.. Running up to the boy he tried to steady his pet on his shoulder while trying to catch the kid or at least try to help.

"Hey…….. you okay??" he hoped there was nothing wrong with this kid… "do you want to sit down…. is there anything hurt?" he had crashed into a bunch of stuff so it was a possibility.

Shaking her head, Lux was amused as Nola seemed to like lying on the floor in the middle of the corridor. " Yes, it's me. Well, okay then. Hopefully no one will trip over you..."

And as if her words spoke a prophesy, that very thing happened right before her eyes. Lux had hardly any time to grasp what was happening, before she saw a boy go flying and slam into a compartment door. Concerned, she was going to ask if he was okay, but he really did seem to be; in fact he was showing his concern for Nola who was suffering from a hurt side. "Do either of you need the Healer?" she asked as she saw the girl chuck her shoes. Totally understandable. "I really like your socks. Blue is my favourite colour."

Maybe she could distract Nola from the pain in her side. Seeing Bay had joined them, she bit her lip. It seemed that there was a lot of chaos going on in this little corridor.

*Turning to the older student he just waved him off.*
"I'll be okay, probably no dates from that compartment anytime soon. But I almost broke this wee one."
*Romulus said indicating the first year. He paled a little at the mention of the healer. That was the last thing he needed. Cece coming in saying he was being rude, again in some way.*

The boy was talking to her now. Nola narrowed her eyes at him. She would not be wearing shoes that made her trip all the time. "There are people in the world who don't wear shoes at all, you know." Nola pointed. Besides, she was still wearing socks. Very pretty and bright socks, nonetheless. That was better than being completely barefoot, yeah?

"No thank you." Nola politely declined. The floor was still nice. She'd just have to scoot to the side so people wouldn't trip over her. Besides, she didn't like being called "wee one". She wasn't a little child. Small, yes but not a little child. She was eleven afterall.


Lux was still there and Nola was very pleased about that. It was nice to know a face. "It hurts, but I'll be fine I think. What about you? Did you get trampled or anything? Do you want my shoes, they might fit you." Nola was concerned about the older student, she was. She eyed Lux's feet. Her feet looked a bit bigger than Nola's but wasn't there a charm or something that could solve that?

The look on the boy's face told Lux that he clearly didn't want to have the Healer involved. Raising her brow, she thought that maybe he had some beef with her or something. Didn't matter much, because he had also told Bay that he was fine.

Turning her attention to Nola, she decided to join her friend in sitting on the floor. At least this way her knees wouldn't start to hurt. "Well, if you are sure you will be okay." Smile. That was very good, she didn't want anyone to be in a lot of pain. "I am totally fine. He didn't hit me." A lucky thing too, because there had already been enough injuries.

Looking over at the shoes that were lying a few feet away, Lux thought that they were nice shoes. "What size are you? I am a six and a half." It was doubtful they would fit her, but maybe Bay, Tessa, or Cris could make them bigger for her.

Making her way down the hall, Penelope looked for a compartment that was not too full, and did not have unfriendly people in it. It had not been a good idea to sit in the compartment with the fourth year who did not want to be bothered. Looking around, Penelope entered another compartment, hoping for better results than the last compartment.

"Sorry, He has a name. I'm Romulus, Rom. In all the chaos I forgot to introduce my self properly." *He said with a warm smile. Getting up he went and grabbed the firsties shoes. No sense in them getting trampled on or making someone else trip. Rom did notice that the girl hadn't apologized for tripping him. Interesting... Maybe she would later? Either way he just hoped that Cece didn't hear about it and give him a telling off.*

Bay gave the boy a weird look "are you sure? you seemed to crash into everything" then he laughed at least this boy had a sense of humour. "yeah you might be right about that mate, I have a few friends in a compartment and we still have room if your looking to sit down for the ride?" he said, there was no harm in making more friends right!

"I'm just on my way-ish to find the food trolly so i can grab some snacks.." always great to have sugar and snacks on ya, you never know when you need it. Sticking out his hand for the boy to shake he thought it was best to introduce himself. "Victor Bay, but most people call me Bay" he said… pretty much the only people who called him Victor were his parents, which was funny to see when Louis didn't know who a Victor was, his best mate had totally forgotten his first name was Victor and of course the Professors, they liked to call him Victor.

Spotting a very young girl he thought it wasn't best for her to be out and about right now because there seemed to be a lot of crashing and bumping of people. "hey there little miss, do you need some help? how about a chocolate frog" he offered because he always had at least two on him for emergencies. He gave her a smile to let her know that he didn't mean her any harm.

"Too bad we don't have ice cream..." Nola sighed when Lux sat down beside her. "What's your favorite flavor of ice cream? Do you think there's gonna be ice cream at Hogwarts?" The questions kept coming. "So, there's houses everyone's sorted into; which house are you in? Do you like it?" Nola was trying her best to ignor the pain in her side as she moved to face Lux more squarely. She didn't want to miss what the older student had to share.

"I dunno." Nola shrugged her shoulders. "My mother picked those out." Which was why it was so easy to get rid of them. "My dad picked my socks out. I like them but I prefer the ones with flowers on them." Nola smiled. Flowers were good.

*Taking the older students hand he shook it and was shocked by the invitation. Had he just made a friend? All it took him was a possible concussion.*
"Romulus, but I go by Rom. And yeah if you have the room."

*Turning back to the younger girls who were now both on the floor he turned to the youngest.*
"I really am sorry for tripping on you."

As Lux listened to her boyfriend talking to the boy who had tripped over Nola, she smiled. It was good to see new friend making, and she hoped that Bay would bring her back something awesome from the food cart.

Stomach grumbling again at the thought of food, she listened as Nola asked her a million questions. Well, that was good because at least it probably was distracting her from the pain in the side. "My favourite flavour is Chocolate Frog. What is yours?" Ice cream was lovely, and she wished that it was served on the train, but that was highly doubtful. "Yes, there is ice cream at Hogwarts. It's in the kitchens, which is near my Common Rooms." Lucky her, because she didn't have far to go whenever she wanted a snack. "I'm in Hufflepuff, and I think it's lovely. There are so many nice people in Hufflepuff, and in the other Houses as well." She did not want Nola to get the idea that all Slytherins were bad or something like that; old myths and biases could be so hard to get rid of. "Honestly, my favourite House is Gryffindor, but I love Hufflepuff just the same."

Looking at the shoes more, Lux nodded. It didn't really matter, she could still have them. And since Bay was here.... "Bay, you know how to make shoes bigger, right?" Surely he did, because he was a Sixth Year, and he was smart. "Flowers are lovely," Lux agreed with a nod. "In Herbology class, I am hoping that I will get to plant some this term." It would be lots of fun, though she had also enjoyed making her topiary.

Marigold was walking around the train aimlessly. Again. She really needed to find more things to do on this train. It definitely wasn't as boring in the years past. She thought about writing to Moo, but it was early for that. Meh.

Someone save her from boredom. And don't tell her only boring people get bored.

Shaking the boy's hand he smiled. "awesome name dude." releasing Rom's hand he smiled. "we totally have the room, right now theres just four of us and we can fit comfortably two more" seemed like he was going to make a lot of new friends this year. He wondered when he was going to get a chance to see Louis, where is his mate.

"so how is everything for you so far??" asking Rom, for he hasn't seen him before around Hogwarts so he just assumed he was new? hopefully he wasn't wrong?



While in the middle of a conversation he hear his name.. turning his head he saw Lux.. and what she wanted to know how to make shoes bigger??? what kind of question is that. Laughing at her he smiled. "ahahah yeah… but why do you want to know?" he winked at her, maybe her mother or evil sister had bought her small shoes and she needed to make them bigger.

So she was right and Bay did know how to make shoes bigger. That was totally awesome, because she herself had no idea. Laughing, she pointed to Nola's shoes. "Can you please make them so they will fit me? Nola said that I could have them." Nola was really nice in that way.

They really were pretty shoes! Shame they had cursed shoelaces.

*The guy was asking him that? He must think that Rom was a new student and he clouldnt blame him. For the most part Rom stayed in his room or the library.*
"Same as always I guess. This will be my fourth year at Hogwarts. Figured that I would try and branch out a little more."

Nola didn't know what her favorite flavor of ice cream was, she shrugged her shoulders. "I dunno. I like plain chocolate. Or praline flavored ones, but only how Uncle Mark makes it at home." Nola told Lux with a smile. Her smile faltered a bit when she realized that she was going to miss Uncle Mark while she was away at Hogwarts. They were talking about ice cream though, so a smile reappeared on her face. "Good. Ice cream is good." She said nodding her head several times.

"How do you get sorted?" Nola asked next. "When do we find out where we go?"

Nola followed Lux's eyes to whoever Bay was. She smiled up at him, hoping that he knew how to make the shoes bigger for Lux to wear. He looked like he was smart. "Do you like flowers, Bay?" Nola asked.

He did know! Too bad Nola didn't have her confetti with her or they'd celebrate in the corridor of the train. "Don't forget about the laces though, Lux. They're dangerous." Nola said very seriously as she eyed the shoes. She was definitely better off wearing just her socks.

Chocolate was a very nice flavour of ice cream, though Lux was not sure that she had ever had pralines before. "Well, if you want we can go to the kitchens and get some together." That could be a lot of fun, and ice cream was always an amazing treat. Seriously craving some now, it was a good thing that the topic of Sorting was able to distract her.

"Well, when we get to the school there is a big feast in the Great Hall. Every House has it's own table and the staff has their own too," Lux explained simply so that Nola wouldn't get confused. "Before the start of the feast, there is what is called the Sorting Ceremony. Basically, everyone who needs to be Sorted sits on a stool that is set up in the Great Hall and a magical hat called The Sorting Hat is placed on their heads. The hat decides which House the student is to go into, and once Sorted, they take a seat at their House table and wait for the feast to begin." Hopefully that was easy to understand, though she was sure that Nola would have some more questions.

Nodding at the mention of the shoelaces, Lux became thoughtful. "I will be careful. I am trying to think of a way that I could make them safer..." Unfortunately as far as she could see, scrapping them was not an option.

Silas was super bored of the whole train ride thing... Bored.

Hands shoved deep inside of his pockets he tried to slide through the corridor without running into too many people. Some people needed to realize he was a McLaggen. And that meant the crowd was supposed to part for him. Ugh.

Now where were the cool kids?
