Centered among the shops of Hogsmeade is a well enough known pub in the small village, called The Three Broomsticks. Not unlike the Hog's Head down the street in the strictest idea of pubs, drinks and the like, however it is the atmosphere that helps make the latter choice the one hailed by the mass majority. The outside of the building is a good preview of what the inside may look like with the same steep roof as the surrounding buildings, yet taller, with a sign on it's facade featuring, you guessed it, the legendary three boomsticks, all fixed around a lantern to light the patrons' way.
Once you enter the pub, smells and the warmth of the large stone fireplace great you as you place hats and coats by the door. Directly infront of you there are tables and booths lining the majority of the small hall with oil lamps placed on each one. On winter days it is usually hard to find a place beside the large fire grate but if you're early enough, only Merlin can say what will happen. To your left the bar and most likely the bartender Harold "Hops" Lagerty, await you and your order--a few stools await you to take a load off and shoot the breeze with others.
The bartender is pretty sociable to those who don't annoy him. He's seen his lot of warlocks, goblins, and Hogwarts kids to know which ones were trouble and which of those made loyal customers, so be sure not to be put on the first part of the list.
A few rules from the Shop Owner: No brawling, no shouting (angrily), no alcohol to minors, and don't go up the stairs, I live up there.
OCC Rules: No RPing for the shopkeeper and all other School RPG Rules apply.

Javy continued consuming the pie, taking his time of course. Messily eating wasn't his style. Chewing slowly as he heard Cassie's suggestion. Right, she was a vegetarian. "It wouldn't hurt trying, I suppose.." Shrugging. Food was food, so he didn't have much objections to trying something new.
He listened as she talked about how she still was getting the headaches. He remembered her having those in their third year when there was crazy animal happenings. Yeah, that was why he took her visions more seriously since then. Wait.. "..Visitors?" He frowned a little, "Which.. Pardon?" That was a little overload there. Anxious creatures. Visitors. One inside a shop.. Yep, trouble. He continued frowning before he set his utensil down, sighing. "Well then.. I better check things out. Thanks Cassie." Collecting his coat to put back on as he stood. "I do apologise for having to leave like this." Since it was rude to leave without an apology for him, especially so early. Then he went out after making sure their meals were paid for already.

Panicking, the dark-haired girl retraced her steps back outside, around, and then minutes later right back into the pub, the bell above the door jingling merrily to announce her reappearance. The panic remained. STILL NO PURSE. SHE WAS STRANDED IN HOGSMEADE AND COULDN'T EVEN GET A HOT CHOCOLATE.
.... Ugh, she was probably going to have to ask someone to find her cousin for her, huh? Pouting to herself she looked around, trying to figure out if there were any sympathetic targets people who might help her out.
Devlin had been wandering around all over Hogsmeade, avoiding his father all the while, trying to explore the entire place before it was time to leave. This was his first time here, ever, so he didn't want to miss one thing. He checked out all the shops, spending a good while in each one, playing with or riffling through all the products, glanced at the buildings in awe and even watched the people milling about chatting. Oh, and those Hogwarts students seemed to be out today. Those people were... interesting. Devlin was only getting a taste of what portions of the wizarding community.
So, when his stomach called, Devlin had remembered seeing that little restaurant everyone seemed to always be heading towards. He followed the general crowd on the street until he made his way back to it.

But, when he was trying to make his way inside it seemed some silly girl, who was dressed in a rather silly and ridiculous outfit, kept going in and out of the shop, like a headless chicken. Making it almost impossible for Devlin to walk in without purposely bumping into or tripping over the girl. Seriously. Eventually he was inside.
"Your halloween costume is ridiculous." He muttered to the girl. That look on her face was ridiculous too. Girls.

She was so used to spending all of her money on candy that it surprised her when someone wouldn't let her use her money on other things.

"Oh my Merlin! You noticed!" She smiled from ear to ear, taking the comment as more of a compliment rather than a greeting. "Thank you for noticing. I like your-....clothes?" Silver beamed.
Yeah she sort of has something to apologize about...
"I apologize for ditching you over the summer." It wasn't partially her fault. It was Onyx's. "My genius brother got married and wanted to celebrate with all the family, but the troll nugget ditched us too!" Instant karma! So much for a family vacation, never ever ditch Beverly Wayne or you'll get some bad juju. It's been proven.
Slightly glancing out the window, she sharply inhaled when she saw a few people she very well recognized. The Barry's had strong security surrounding and following Silver's move. Ever since the whole aging ordeal at Hogwarts her parents have been a little too protective of their daughter.
"So tell me, what's been going on here? Has anyone died yet? Or worse...kidnapped?" A little too exaggerating but hey anything was possible in this school.
Ascanius was just about as ready for the winter holidays as everyone else 'round here. The first half of the term had crawled by unspectacularly and that was 'cause there was no Quidditch to keep it interesting. In his opinion. And he believed his opinion was awful important, yeah?
But now that the holidays were close, Ascanius was finding it harder and harder to sit still in lessons. Though, that wasn't the only reason lately he was having fits of energy.
Yeah.
Anyway, with a little hop to his step 'cause of the utter joy Derry's gift brought him on a daily basis, Ascanius made his way down to the Three Broomsticks rubbing at his nose because of the cold air. Once inside, he found a seat near the back and shacked up waiting on his girlfriend. No doubt she would be here soon.

Penelope couldn't decide if she was ready for the Christmas holidays to come or not. On the one hand, she was just so she could get away from school for a bit and for other reasons...but those other reasons also sorta made her dread it too. It was very conflicting. She thought she was doing better about not worrying as much though. It was hard, but she thought she was doing pretty good. She was even sleeping a little better now which helped.
So though she didn't sleep in this morning even though it was a Hogsmeade weekend, she felt well rested and ready to go. She set off quickly for The Three Broomsticks, wrapping her scarf around her neck tightly. It was awfully cold, wasn't it? Of course it was almost winter, but it seemed like it had started ages ago. Could just be her imagination though.
Either way, the Gryffindor was relieved to finally enter the warmth inside. Much better. And it didn't take more than a couple seconds for her to spot her boyfriend towards the back. She hurried over and slipped into the seat across from him with a grin. "Hey there."

Charlotte was starting to wonder if she should just get up and leave now. Like, why would Declan, who could probably literally have any girl he wanted, want to continue talking to a lame sixteen year old who had never even had a boyfriend?! She only even knew how to snog and whatnot because of...before with whathisface...
But then he was pulling her closer to him and telling her about his last and only relationship..so maybe her never having had a boyfriend wasn't the worst thing ever? If he understood and didn't not want to be with her then she'd feel, like, 100 times better.
"So...it doesn't bother you that I've never had one?" She watched him, to make sure she could read his reaction right, and played with her hands in her lap. Because really really if it did he could tell her and then...they could finish their date and he'd go on his merry way.
Mordred just staaaaaaaaaared at his girlfriend, with a hint of a smile on his lips. Spending most of his time alone with dragons…and the occasional volunteers, the former Slytherin forgot what it’s like to have someone care for him. The 21-year old continued to look at Sophie endearingly as she continued talking. How was he supposed to reply to that? “Come here.” Mordred pulled Sophie into a hug and kissed her forehead. “I know you will.” No question about that. And he knew she will continue to do so in the near future.
Mordred didn’t want to let go of the hug, but then, that’ll be a bit awkward, yeah? They were in a public place for Merlin’s sake. Releasing Sophie, the young man sighed and shook his head as they discussed about Ethan. “I can’t believe my ears, Sophs. How…did Hogwarts do it? And of course, he’s still into the advanced Defense and Advanced Magical Combat. Mordred thought it was best not to mention these things to Sophie anymore. Sure those subjects don’t involve dragons, but the classes he’s currently taking are dangerous.
Mordred chuckled. Like…real chuckles. “Perfect excuse for what?” the young man bit his lip to prevent himself from laughing. What, she doesn’t believe her boyfriend’s that awesome??? “Don’t be silly Sophie Delilah Campbell.” The former Slytherin shook his head. “I want you to excel in university, okay? You will never be a burden, and yes I will help you with Runes.” Also, why Runes? Was Charms directly related to Runes that she wants to study it so bad? She was about to tell him he should get enough sleep to do well on everything else, but he was already talking about what other subjects he was studying. Does this mean you can communicate with them???" Whoooooooa! That sounded so scary! At the same time Sophie was worried, she was really proud of her brilliant boyfriend. He was awesome!

Penelope couldn't decide if she was ready for the Christmas holidays to come or not. On the one hand, she was just so she could get away from school for a bit and for other reasons...but those other reasons also sorta made her dread it too. It was very conflicting. She thought she was doing better about not worrying as much though. It was hard, but she thought she was doing pretty good. She was even sleeping a little better now which helped.
So though she didn't sleep in this morning even though it was a Hogsmeade weekend, she felt well rested and ready to go. She set off quickly for The Three Broomsticks, wrapping her scarf around her neck tightly. It was awfully cold, wasn't it? Of course it was almost winter, but it seemed like it had started ages ago. Could just be her imagination though.
Either way, the Gryffindor was relieved to finally enter the warmth inside. Much better. And it didn't take more than a couple seconds for her to spot her boyfriend towards the back. She hurried over and slipped into the seat across from him with a grin. "Hey there."

Jeez, if these hadn't become a regular thing he might have been a little more irritated by its presence on his date, yeah? But he was familiar with it now and Pen would be fine as per usual. He shrugged, "Yeah, m'good. Waiting on you mostly. Got held up at the castle?" She had taken her time getting down here. Then again, Ascanius was practically bouncing with excitement right now.
Lost in her own world, Lux did not think that anyone would join her. Least of all her older sister. "Hey, Willa." A friendly smile formed on her face, and it had been a while since they had last seen each other. It was such a nice surprise!
Holding out her necklace, she showed it off. "My boyfriend gave it to me. Isn't it beautiful?" She was so happy.
Willa smiled and crossed her legs. It was weird being in a really good mood for so long. Part of her liked it and park of her hated it. She didn't like that fact that she wasn't so stuck up anymore but she would be sure to get that part of her back because it was the fun side of her that she loved. "So how have you been?" Charlotte knew she heard the words and had almost expected the words, more or less, but didn't actually think they'd come out of his mouth, especially not today! In fact, she kind of just thought she'd end up being the one to ask him to be her 'boy-toy' when it really came down to it. So the fact that he had said it, and SMIRKED afterwards just to make it ten times worse, killed her.
It was sort of like every word she had ever learned in her 16 years of life flew out the window and she was stuck, happily, looking at his extremely cute face without knowing what to say to answer it. Obviously she knew the answer she wanted to give but actually managing to give the answer was kind of impossible. She blamed it on the smirk, actually. That irresistible smirk just ruined her life...for the better.
Realizing she was taking about a minute to reply, which must look bad on her part, she beamed at him and nodded eagerly (but not so eagerly because she wasn't desperate or anything JEEZ). And even though she thought of a bunch of different smart remarks to make about the use of the word "boy-toy," she was still at a loss for actual words so she figured she'd just make a mental note and say them later. For now, all that mattered was that her answer was yes.

It was certainly nice to see Willa in a good mood, though Lux had no idea what brought it about. Should she ask? A part of her certainly wanted to, but then she figured that her sister would spill the details in due time. Or at least she better spill them, because that was the kind of thing sisters did: they told each other stuff. Smiling, she shrugged off the apology. "No worries. I'm just glad you came here. I've been amazing! What about you?"
At least they both agreed that the necklace was beautiful. She was going to wear it forever. "I love him." Willa could feel whatever way about this news that she wanted to, but that wouldn't change anything.

Why hadn't she ever taken out the time to ask Jun what to do if this had ever happened to her? ...even though she never actually expected to get a boyfriend any time soon so...
"Good." She smiled at him some more, making sure to avoid the smirk that just sat on his lips. Now was not the time for that, there were other things to focus on for now. "So...by being my quote-unquote 'boy-toy' this means that...if I felt the need to I could tell other people about it and that would be fine?" Because she had to tell Lux...and probably Vinnie...they would definitely want to know something like this, y'know, if the subject ever came up.
