Centered among the shops of Hogsmeade is a well enough known pub in the small village, called The Three Broomsticks. Not unlike the Hog's Head down the street in the strictest idea of pubs, drinks and the like, however it is the atmosphere that helps make the latter choice the one hailed by the mass majority. The outside of the building is a good preview of what the inside may look like with the same steep roof as the surrounding buildings, yet taller, with a sign on it's facade featuring, you guessed it, the legendary three boomsticks, all fixed around a lantern to light the patrons' way.
Once you enter the pub, smells and the warmth of the large stone fireplace great you as you place hats and coats by the door. Directly infront of you there are tables and booths lining the majority of the small hall with oil lamps placed on each one. On winter days it is usually hard to find a place beside the large fire grate but if you're early enough, only Merlin can say what will happen. To your left the bar and most likely the bartender Harold "Hops" Lagerty, await you and your order--a few stools await you to take a load off and shoot the breeze with others.
The bartender is pretty sociable to those who don't annoy him. He's seen his lot of warlocks, goblins, and Hogwarts kids to know which ones were trouble and which of those made loyal customers, so be sure not to be put on the first part of the list.
A few rules from the Shop Owner: No brawling, no shouting (angrily), no alcohol to minors, and don't go up the stairs, I live up there.
OCC Rules: No RPing for the shopkeeper and all other School RPG Rules apply.

She had been dying (on the inside) to go to Disneyland all break long but her brother was too busy being over protective over her after seeing her kiss Dec at the train station, her sister was beyond annoying and she wouldn't be able to handle that, and Mason (her younger brother) was too young to apparate her anywhere. One day, just one day, she hoped her parents wouldn't be working so much so they could take her to Disney for once! "I wanted to go to Disneyland sooooo badly!" Really though, if her and Dec were just labeled already, Char was sure he would have invited her to Disney with him.
She bit her lip to keep from laughing because he was just way too cute and she was still trying to figure out how to deal with that. "Poor Dec-"Deccy."Did you at least get your picture after all of the babies dispersed?"

She really did know he liked challenges and decided she'd just give him one. Letting go of his hand, which made her a little sad because his hand was nice and big and all, and crossed her arms. "Actually, you know, I have something else I need to go to so we can totally cut this short so I'm not running late?" Char wasn't mad or annoyed or anything, she was really having fun, but if she had to get up and leave to prove a point, she totally would.

And she was okay and good with what he was saying until he mentioned Rapunzel. She knew he was trying to make her jealous and too bad he was wrong again. "You know, technically, if you mean Disney's Rapunzel, she wouldn't have blonde hair...she's a brunette by the end of the movie." And while Disney reminded her of Jun, she was too distracted at the moment to even the thought of him throw her off.

And right there, ladies and gentlemen is the weakness of the Mordaunts. Sophie’s smile and enthusiasm made Mordred smile, causing the corners of his eyes to wrinkle. If only he could take Sophie to Russia with him, he will without second thoughts. He really could use some company back there, and well…an inspiration. The former Slytherin hugged her back and kissed her on the cheek. “Well, someone’s really happy to see me.” Mordred kept his smile and didn’t inch away from his girlfriend.
“Yeah I was in Edinburgh a few hours ago.” He said as he checked his watch. “Ethan owled me earlier and told me to meet him up here. Apparently it’s Hogsmeade Weekend.” The 21-year old grinned and took a sip of his drink. “Well, I was hoping to get a glimpse of you before going here knowing that it’s almost time for the holidays. I was going to ask if you wanted to visit Hogsmeade with me before I head back to Russia.” He wanted to see her so bad, because it had been months and the fact that he just celebrated his 21st birthday and all that. Mordred’s not going to mention it though because his birthday doesn’t matter much. He’s not a child anymore. “We just came back from the North Pole. I helped in settling down Rugarth. Migration month for Mr. Frost Dragon.” And she doesn’t have to know that they were stuck there because of the horrid weather. “And you, beautiful?How’s uni?” he asked as he brushed a strand of her hair away from her face. “Dethroned the university’s Charms Queen yet?” he didn’t forget all right?

In any case, she had been convinced to take her along when she’d decided to do a bit of last minute holiday shopping, as well as look into something she’d seen hints of in her latest card reading, and she didn’t mind. The one thing her girl wasn’t was trouble, at least when there were cookies that could be had.
In fact, she’d bought her a hot cocoa along with a couple of sugar cookies as they’d stepped into the Leaky, her dark eyes scanning the room and landing on two figures near the fire. Of course, she thought, making sure Seraphine didn’t wander off before walking over. “Professor Kapoor,” she said, unconsciously echoing the other woman’s greeting, although not half as bubbly, and she’d turned dark eyes to glance at the blonde woman curiously. The shy wave that came from her daughter had put a grin on her face, though, as did her having climbed up onto a chair without any fear. Apparently that was another detail to mark down on her mental list, but she’d taken a seat herself moments later. “You look well.” The news of an unofficial meeting of the minds had intrigued her, yet she waited to find out how it was going to go.

A coat. She should have had a coat with her. It was no surprise that Scotland was pretty cold this time of year. And 'pretty cold' was an understatement. It really was. The bite of the cold wasn't at its worst today, just on her nose and fingers, but keeping her head down and pulling her sleeves over her hands had sufficed enough to get her into Hogsmeade and to make the little walk towards The Three Broomsticks. Feeling rubbish about yourself really was the best way to deal with severe weather. Or was that the hours she'd spent outside on the grounds recently? It was something like that.
Elodie pushed open the door, declined her choice to grab herself a drink and went to choose a table to wait at. If she had nothing with her, it wouldn't matter if Lady Kurumi was late. It'd look like she'd only just got here herself.

Clearing her weekend schedule has been easy seeing as all the eggs in the hatchery had just been laid and were a long ways away from needing her assistance, Kurumi had even found some time to bake something for Elodie. Something for her to take back to the castle at least. She assumed the owner of the Three Broomsticks wouldn't be too pleased with people eating outside food in their establishment.
Pushing open the door and brushing some of the snow off her coat, Kurumi looked around for second year Elodie and momentarily forgot just how much time had passed until her violet eyes fell on the not-so-second-year girl standing off to the side.
She entirely missed her friend's somber mood and flashed a big BEAMING smile at her. "Elodie!" she waved before walking over to her and wrapping her up in a hug. "Congratulations again on becoming a prefect." Because it was worth saying in person this time and not just on parchment. "I'm so incredibly proud of you! What do you want? My treat."

Charlotte smiled innocently at him, waiting for a reaction and, eventually, she kind of got what she wanted. She had really thought he wouldn't believe her but hearing him ask if she was actually leaving meant she won this 'challenge.' "You said you like a challenge, didn't you?"
He had continued to stare at her, waiting, and Char decided she'd stop and let him relax a little. Taking his hand in hers again, she squeezed a bit and shook her head. "No, I'm not really leaving." She then poked his cheek with her free hand, waiting for that smile of his to show up again.
"Oh yeah! That's not a bad middle name at all!" She didn't think it fit him really but it didn't have to fit him. Middle names were just names parents wish they had named their child...but didn't for whatever reason.
Cute Declan was so cute and Charlotte couldn't help but giggle a little at his response. It wasn't her fault she knew loads of Disney stuff! She stuck her tongue out at him as well and shrugged. "Fine then, she was blonde. It's interesting that she's who you spent all break thinking about." Because that's what he had said right? There was only one girl he'd be thinking about or something? Or only one girl would be on his mind? And Char refused to believe he had actually meant it was her until he said so himself. Otherwise, she'd just believe he was talking about a Disney princess.

Maybe in code so no one overheard. Not that she remotely cared what anyone really thought. There were four peoples opinions that she gave an ounce of thought about and only one of them was here. Replacement mama.
She wiggled her nose at the congratulations, still a little confused when things like that happened. She'd probably just get used to it and then she'd graduate. Boo. That was soon, too. "Thaaaaaanks. Charlotte wasn't really sure what to think about this or if she even was supposed to think anything about it. Did he really already know her well enough to know that she'd love a Minnie Mouse thing or was it just a good guess? Maybe he'd only gotten it for the candy and her liking Minnie Mouse was a plus he hadn't even expected...which meant she'd think nothing of it, right? They were still just two friends...who were friends and just kissed sometimes?
Evil Declan was evil! Charlotte was positive he had worded his sentence that way on purpose because clearly he wanted her to think things but she wasn't going to give him that satisfaction. Nope. Not now at least. Char pulled her candy bag out of her bag and reached in to grab a bag of Reese's Pieces as well as a few Reese's peanut buttercups. "There you go, all for you." She smiled innocently and winked at him as well. She'd give him endless amounts of Reese's if he wanted it bad enough.
"Uh...w-was that...your stomach?" Charlotte started laughing without actually meaning to. She had forgotten they had gone to the Three Broomsticks for food and had been so distracted by him that she forgot there was a menu sitting in front of her. "You should really order food if you're that hungry, Mr. Hazelwood." She didn't want him to pass out in front of her! What would that say about her as a date??

Calm down, Declan! If she had known all it took to excite him were some Reece's than she would have given it to him ages ago. Not that he wasn't fun and excitable now, but it was good to know what to do to excite him.
Char watched as he enjoyed his candy -- and he really was enjoying it too -- and then grinned at him, making sure not to laugh at him. For some reason she felt like she was in a really giggly mood and she couldn't sit there giggling the whole time, how weird would that be? So she decided to be smiley instead, surely Dec wouldn't mind that? "Laughing is my way of saying hello, jeeeez!" She stuck her tongue out at him and then used her free hand to poke his tummy. "No, no, candy isn't a real meal." Yeah, she ate loads of candy but she almost always made sure to eat real meals too. "Call someone over so we can order and I'll pick something while we wait." Using her free hand again, she opened up her menu and scanned it a bit, making a mental note of all the things that sounded yummy just in case she ran out of time to really make a decision.
Right. Brunette. 16. October baby. Slytherin.
So what if it sounded like her? Charlotte didn't know all of the Slytherin girls in her year! It could be aaaaanyone! "Wellll...ummmm..........can you describe what she looks like? Aside from her hair?" And she asked this just because she really wanted to hear how he'd describe this 'mystery' person.
