"Hello Cossy!" Leo greeted his mate fondly. "How has your day been? Seen any new exciting potions made by the students?"

After Cossy none other than Airey arrived dressed up for the occasion. "Hi Airey, nice hat and pants, very festive." Leo greeted with a small wave in the space man’s direction.

Returning Cassie’s smile with one of his own; Leo said happily. "Good evening Cassie. The staff room look’s great and you look lovely tonight too."

"Evening Medea," Leo greeted with a small wave as the defense professor arrived.

"Hello Javy, the day has been good but slow. How has your day been?" Were all his creatures getting along well and such?

Hola???

Did that mean hello in Spanish? Taking it as such Leo smiled broadly at the red headed newcomer. "Hello, welcome to Hogwarts, I'm Leobald Kitridge, the school librarian and Ravenclaw Head of House." She was the new arithmancy professor right?

"Good evening Abraham!" Leo chirped fondly as the senior professor arrived. "How is your crup doing?"
he queried quietly.

Beaming broadly Leo returned "Hello Annie! You look very pretty tonight." It was hard not to compliment his boss on her dress. She usually wore dresses that caught attention.

"Hello Piers!" Leo greeted as the charm’s man past by his side on his way over to Javy no doubt.

"Hello Nessa. You don’t look too bad yourself." Leo complimented. "I like how you’ve liven up the staff room. It's looks really festive and pretty." It was nice that the staff room was decorated for once.

"Seren, it's lovely to see you." Leo greeted sunnily. "Is that flesh eating plant I gave you settling into its new home in the green houses?" So he could tell his mother that she didn’t need to worry about the plant chewing up his living quarters and books.

Turning to Fina he beamed. "Thank you. Congrats to the baby and welcome back!" It was sweet that she had kept herself informed and had remembered his new position.

"Hola, Lolita.. Como estas?" Javy greeted as Lolita came in. Now there's someone who knew a thing or two about fashion as the dress brought out the best in her appearance. He smiled a little at her before Santa Botros arrived.

"Evening, Abraham, very nice outfit." He smiled a little, as he looked just like Santa Claus without the extra belly, of course. "I see.." Nodding at Leo, once he described his day. "My day's been pleasant. Just had to make sure the creatures were comfortable and everything until now. How's Wilhemina and Madonna doing?" He had hoped some improvement in tolerance had established since last time. Then Javy heard another familiar voice, nearly took him by surprised before realising just whose it was.

"Hello Annie," As for that question, he merely raised an eyebrow with a slight twitch at the corner of his mouth to prevent a smirk. "He's working on his quota to be fashionably late, I believe.. How are you doing?" Ooh, there were brownies. He went to pick one up about to eat it when he saw Piers arrive. Whoops? Was it something he said? Pfft, nope. He quirked an eyebrow at when he redirected to Lolita. Oh well, it just proved he had great taste. Heh. Then with Josephina. "Good... I'm doing well, thank you. How's your little boy doing?" Since her baby wasn't here at the moment to find out.

Now Javy's attention went to Nessa, whom he returned the greeting with a small wave as well. Then there was Cassie, "Thanks, and a Happy Christmas to you too, Cassie." Chuckling at her compliment, "Well, I can't deny that yours hasn't for me either." All that pink, who wouldn't be amazed at one being able to still wear it daily? Heh. "Fabulous? Good.. Ive been doing great myself. You have many plans coming up for the break?"

His eyes glanced back at Piers, who was still conversing with Lolita. Moving on.. to Seren and Cosgrach.. He was calling him Cossy from now on as he smiled a little towards them both. About to eat the brownie finally, when he could hear Piers being...himself *ahem* again with that opinion on Arithmancy in front of the Professor of said subject. Yeah. Looking at the brownie bit, then back at Piers. Hm.. Javy did what he considered logical.. Lightly flicking it to hit the back of his head. Caring was sharing, after all.

Cosgrach took a brownie and stuffed it in his mouth when that definitely charming new arithmancy professor entered the room. His eyes followed her for a second, and he knew he had to speak to her properly at least once, though his heart ordered him to do it a few times. But first, he had to eat that brownie to look presentable. He quickly chewed and nodded at Mr. Botros in the meantime (wasn't he the most fashionable Santa ehehe), swallowed, turned towards...

As he turned away from the Latina woman, Piers grabbed another cookie off the table and looked around. Everyone seemed to be busy in conversation. Except for Cosgrach, who kind of just looked confused. He patted the potions man on the shoulder. "Alright, mate?" Pat pat.

Feeling something hit the back of his head, Piers automatically turned around to look at Javy. Who ELSE would it have been? Uh huh, he saw that look on his face. Piers just chuckled to himself and shook his head. Then he excused himself from confused little Cossy and finally walked over to Javy and the Headmistress.

"Annie," he greeted with a nod as he stood beside the Spaniard, casually resting a hand on his lower back. "Looking forward to the holiday?" No students, no headmistress-ing. Sounded like a good time.

Cassie had been so excited for the party, she was excited for the amazingly awesome Santa, the gift exchange, the music, the eggnog in her hand, getting to know her coworkers better, but right now. Right at this very moment she was staring blankly at all of them. She turned her green eyes around the room. "What is all of this?" She asked whomever would listen.


Looking down at her hand she noticed a cup. What was she drinking? Sipping it she really had no clue what it was. So she moved towards a table and set it down.

Hmmm so who were all these people and why was she with them? Though she couldn't help noticing the males were very cute. She gave a small smile, "Excuse me." She said to the nearest hottie man. "Where are we and who are you?" better yet, who was she?

Hola, that would take getting used to around here. Still, it had a very.... sunny tone to it, and that was something she could appreciate.

"Settling in alright? Students haven't given you any grief so far?" she asked, taking an interest in their newer member.

Despite Fina having been back for a short while now, with the extra attention required in the greenhouses and student garden, she'd been too busy to catch up with her friend and fellow Head of House.

"Fina!" she exclaimed joyfully when she realised the woman was in the room. The decorations were perhaps a little distracting in that way. "It's good to see you too! How are you? And how's your little man?" she asked excitedly.

Her attention was soon stolen by the Librarian, and he received warm smiles in exchange for his. "Leo, so good to see you too," she replied with equal brightness. "Oh it's growing beautifully, fitting right in with the others," she assured him with a nod. "And how goes the library?" she asked, not really sure where to go with that. Any issues with dust mites? Students spilling food and drink on them? Borrowing and not returning? ... Who knew?

Fabstatic, though? The old man seemed openly puzzled by the word, but assumed it was supposed to be flattering and so he chuckled and accepted it, "Thank you. I made it myself." Sort of.

"He's quite great! Students are being awfully helpful walking him around. Though not so much now, it's getting too cold." Not just for his old, weary legs but for everyone. That was selfishly good feeling to whine along with the youth.

Botros stayed AWAY from the confused colleague, making sure the others saw how far apart they were. He did NOT touch Morgan at all, nope, it wasn't him this time! He nervously went to stuff his mouth with food, avoiding anything with too much chocolate it made him gas-y.

Hmmm, this one she had not seen before. And she would remember, since he was fairly easy on the eyes. But if he was the librarian, then he probably spent most of his time there. Perhaps I shall have to visit la biblioteca some time.. "Hola, Leobald. My name is Lolita Carmen Inocencia Domingo. I am filling the Arithmancy position this term. No doubt you will see some of my students coming to research."

Well, at least he was making an attempt. "Just fine, thank you. Do you have any plans for the holiday?" She returned his smile.

Ah, their deputy head was concerned with her well being. More than could be said about Anastasia, I fear. "Indeed I am. I have had a few little incidents, but nothing I couldn't handle."

Perfect? Medea was being awfully generous with her terminology, but he gave her a smug smile and touched his index and middle finger to hers.

"It's no top hat, but it would do," he saluted Javy before turning his attention towards Old Man River when he entered and..."Wooooooooow, take a gander at that belt buckle!" he gawked before giving the Ancient Runes professor two thumbs up. He smiled at Cassiopeia when she greeted them and internally recoiled on the off chance that she had more of those ridiculous pieces of parchment containing lies. But it seemed that she didn't today, so his smile widened a bit more as she and Medea discussed a tea date.

"Headmistress," he greeted the woman who........also paired him and Medea together when saying hello. For some reason this made his insides squirm. NOT because he minded being paired with Medea, for obvious reasons, but it was setting off some sort of silent alarm in his brain about being a unit and how that implied a more serious commitment and... okay...nervous sweating in pleather pants was INCREDIBLY uncomfortable. "Eggnog? To go with your brownie?" he offered her. He was going to grab himself a glass of it himself.

Nessarose did it too. The together greeting. SQUIRM.

"Some well-wishing students" he repeated, the cogs in his head turning to his own school days. Yeah...he was going to pass on the brownies. Miss Adams would have certainly signed her own name and taken ownership of her delicious delights. So he would feast on some of the other offerings. Like those brought in by Professor Botros, perhaps. "Yes....kind..."

Oh look, Piers was here too. Pouring himself a glass of eggnog and bypassing the brownies, he stood beside the two glitter bomb prank failures and rocked back on his heels. "So...you two going to do anything about that mess outside my office?"

He saw you too, Seren, and smiled her direction before his blue gaze was drawn towards Josephina who..........did it too. "I'm sure the Hufflepuffs are glad to have their Head of House back."

And speaking of Heads of House..."It is a party," he chuckled towards the librarian. "One is required to be festive!" So where was your Santa hat? Hmmmmmmm? Or wait...better yet...Wand out, Airey gave it a wave and conjured a festive hat juuuuuuust for Leobald. Hehe. It sort of made him look bald. HEHEHE. "There, now you can be festive as well."

And now he wanted a turkey leg. Were there any of those around?

Oh sweet solstice what was SHE doing here. The woman from the field trip. Who apparently had a really long name that she liked saying. He sort of just smiled at her, but steered clear as he was finally heading towards the eggnog when....Cassiopeia .... forgot where she was? Did she remember who she was? What in Orion's belt...

He bit his tongue before he could finish those thoughts.

"WELCOME TO THE NORTH POLE! You're Mrs. Clause and that gentleman over there is Mr. Clause," he said, deadpan, while pointing towards Professor Botros. "I think he is even standing under some mistletoe right now waiting for a kissy kissy."

Kissy kissy? How very mature of you, Flamsteed.

Cosgrach was oblivious to any and everything. He just stood there, with his hands still chocolate-y, and gaped around. He blinked several times as well.

"What is this? What are we doing?"

Just 'what' to everything.

"Is the winter weather making the creatures in the stables uncomfortable?" Leo asked curiously and a tad worried for their behalf too. Didn’t some creatures change habitat during the winter season or was that just birds? Shrugging he smiled at the mention of Wilhelmina and Madonna. "They’ve called a truce and are now bonding happily. Sometimes they even sleep in the same basket for warmth." The library was unfortunately a pretty cold place during the winter season.

Leo walked over and grabbed himself a cup of eggnog to get into the Christmas spirit. Sipping on it he caught Cassie gazing around the room with a confused looked about her face. Turning to her he said smiling broadly. "This is the Christmas party that you and Nessa organized. Don’t you remember? And we are in the school’s staff room and I’m Leobald." What was up with her? Had someone put something into her eggnog?

Seren's reassurance made Leo let out a small sigh of relief. "I'm glad. That flesh eating plant was definitely more than I bargained for. Is it easy for people to confuse them for a say a more harmless plant?" Leo really hoped so since it had been a gift from his mother."The library is splendid and the student’s are borrowing more books than ever. I just need to buy some heating equipments to warm the library up. It’s get chilly in there."

"Yes, any idea if it’s common for the winters in Scotland to be this cold?" Leo wondered. "The cold is making its presence know in the library too. How is it in your runes classroom?" Abraham probably was more sensitive to the cold given his senior age and aching limbs.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Lolita." Leo responded with a smile. "So you're taking over Fina's old position. I guess you like working with numbers then?" Numbers had never been his forte. "You should stop by the library sometime I think I have some new numerology books that might be of interest to you?" If Lolita was anything like Fina and wanted lots of research material.

Leo attention turned to Airey as he conjured up a festive hat that to Leo looked very much like a chicken with Christmas lights on it. Accepting the hat with some hesitation he put it on his head saying "Thank's for this Airey. I really appreciate it." Lie. He probably looked stupid with this chicken hat on his head but in the spirit of Christmas Leo played along.

Hearing Cosgrach from somewhere behind him sounding just as disorientated as the divination professor Leo wondered not for the first time what was going on. Keeping his mounting worry out of his tone of voice Leo said. "Cosgrach we are at the staff Christmas party."

She was still just kind of looking around. Confused green eyes trying to remember something, but she didn't even know who she was. Why couldn't she remember at least that much? Hearing a voice she looked up at the man who said she was at the North Pole. "North Pole?" Her eyes scanned the room again. "Well it's very pretty here." So pretty and the music was nice as well. She smiled a bit, so North Pole and she was Mrs. Claus. Hmmm, her eyes moved to the man he said was Mr. "So my husband is over there?" She had no reason to not believe him.

Turning she was about to head towards her husband when someone else spoke. His face so familiar, but she couldn't place a name to it. "Staff party? Well of course it is." She didn't want to seem crazy. "Do we always have Staff party's in the North Pole?" and who was Nessa? "I hope you are having fun at the party Mr. Leobald, but I guess I should go to my husband." How bad would it be not to be with her husband at a party.

Walking towards Abraham she smiled, "I'm so sorry dear, hope I didn't keep you waiting." She leaned up and gave him a kiss.

Feeling completely disoriented now, Nessa blinked a couple times at the Spanish-speaking woman (Lolita) as she presumably introduced herself. "It's nice to meet you, Señorita Glendower," she said, affecting her own Spanish accent at the end and wearing a friendly smile. Wasn't she nice? But.. funnily enough, her own name escaped so she couldn't return the favor.

Shrugging it off, she looked around the room. Who were these people? She stared at the blonde woman next to her (Cassie) as she asked what she was doing there. "I was wondering that myself.." she said slowly. "Looks like some sort of party." A party filled with good-looking men.. and some women too. And one of those men, (Piers), was waving at her. She put on her most charming smile and sent a little wink in his direction. She had started to go over and say hello when she was stopped by yet another good-looking man (Leo).

Nessa stared at him, uncomprehending, for a moment. Was he talking to her? Was she Nessa? "Right.. that's my name," she laughed a bit, not wanting to come out and ask him if it really was. Wouldn't that just be crazy? And she clearly wasn't.. or was she? She looked around the room again before her eyes snapped back to Leo. "Did I do all of this?" That was what he was saying, right? That is was her party? Oh.. she was throwing a party and being a terrible hostess! That needed to change right now! And why did she know no one at this party she was throwing?

She glanced over as the blonde woman joined her husband... "SANTA!!" Oh she did know someone at the party, it was Santa Claus! And her face lit up at the sight of him and his loving wife. Aww, how sweet the two of them were. "Santa.. Mrs. Claus.. I'm so happy the two of you were able to make it to the party. Can I get either of you anything?" Since she was the hostess and all, apparently. And there had to be food and drinks around here somewhere.. right? Oh look.. there was a plate full of brownies right there on the table.

His wand was already out as he stared up at the staff room door, contemplating his next move. He COULD help the Professors out but, why SHOULD he? Tapping his wand to his chin Kyroh began to think. He COULD help them because he liked some of them. But which was did he like? Maybe if he liked ENOUGH of them he'd help them out. Holding out his finger he began to count just which professors he liked.

1. Professor Culloden, he was scary sure but he gave him a POTION...and then yelled at him later on so.....maybe. Culloden was a maybe like. Yes.
2. Professor Bentley. SHE WAS NICE!
3. Professor Flamsteed......he SEEMED happy and all that but Kyroh was unsure of this man as WELL.
4. Professor Fuller...he WASN'T nice at all, but he had cool hair.
5. Professor Old Man....he had a crup. End of story.
6. Professor Glendower. She COULD have said he wasn't a Ravenclaw but DIDN'T
7. The Headmistress. She was always friendly to him.

As she reached number SEVEN it was decided. Seven was a pretty big number after all. "Caelum Saepio!" Kyroh said clearly, pointing his wand at the door, though nothing happened. He scratched his chin again before remembering that he had forgotten one important thing. Wand movement. Duh. Tracing a sideways eight on the door he tried again. "Caelum Saepio" This time, like with the others the fog covered the area. The charm had worked!! Kyroh reached forward and patted the door. "Stay warm professors." Turning, he ran away ready to warm up another part of the castle.
