Hehe. James was funny and she smiled at him. He was nice, and she thought it was really cool that he was Lucas' brother. "Yes, I know him! He is my best friend. I haven't seen him in a while though." She missed him. Hopefully everything was going okay for him and they could see each other soon.

"Ooooo food sounds good." And warmth of the oven maybe he could lose some of the layers. "Yup a very good idea let's do that. I'm freezing." James held out his arm with a smile to escort her to the kitchens.

Pfft Lucas had a best friend? Yeah...okay. "Well I'm sorry for that," he teased with a grin. "He's wandering around here somewhere I'm sure." Unless he got stuck in a tunnel or something. That'd be funny. Well...kind of. Until mum yelled at him for not helping.

Of course James was more than willing to head off with her to the kitchens. Who wouldn't have been? Lux sure loved food and never would pass up the opportunity to have a snack. "Awesome!" Knowing that he would follow behind, she made her way towards where the kitchens were. Fortunately they weren't too far away because it would have sucked to walk from all the way up on the seventh floor.

Laughing at the remark about Lucas, she totally understood how siblings joked with each other. She did the same thing with Willa and Lennon after all. "I wonder if he's gotten up to any other adventures. Last term he told me about the time he and Abbi met Acromantulas in the Forbidden Forest."

Scary stuff.

Charms HW 2 - Post 2

Deciding to go up to the next floor to practice her spell some more, AJ extracted her wand from its holster. Where to cast, where to cast? As she looked around she noticed the portraits. The portraits at Hogwarts were super cool. They moved, and would talk to you and everything. The first time it had happened to her, she nearly jumped out of her jeans. You would think that somebody would have warned her or something.

"HIII," she shouted, in case they were sleeping or not paying attention to her or something. Even though the people were just paintings they could get cold right? Thinking that the answer was most likely yes, AJ decided to do them a big favor. "Caelum Saepio." Figure eight motion with her wand happened. No results. "Erm, this can sometimes happen." It always happened, but her portrait friends didn't need to know that. ""Caelum Saepio." AJ swooshed her wand, making the number eight. Fog!!! The lion fist bumped the closest portrait to her. "You're welcome." She dashed off.

Charms Homework #2 - Post 4

After insulating the area by the hourglasses, Lux decided to make her way to the first floor in order to see what else she could perform the spell on. There had to be something here that she could insulate without it being a plain bit of wall. That would be boring. Looking around, she spotted the area with the portraits.

Aha!

That would work perfectly, so she skipped over and found a good bit of wall that would work perfectly for what she wanted to do. "Caelum Saepio!" she called out as she drew a figure eight at the wall. As the fog formed, she did another one near to the first. "Caelum Saepio!" Beaming, it was time for her to move on to the last area that she wanted to insulate.
