The Observatory Feel like looking at some stars? You've come to the right place. From here in the Hogwarts Observatory you can see a tiny fraction of the 400 billion or so stars found in the Milky Way Galaxy. This circular but spacious room has been locked and opened as many times as there have been Astronomy professors staffed at the school. The huge telescope that former Hogwarts Astronomy professor, Professor Anteres, had put in years ago is still here and fully operable. Students are very welcome to try and use it. If you need a hand Professor Flamsteed is always somewhere close by and can lend you assistance. If the giant telescope is too much there is always smaller telescopes stored away in the cupboards around the room which you can borrow and use as you please as well as other astronomy objects. |
For Mikey TOUSSAINT. "You know," Zahra began as her and Mikey ascended into the Observatory, "Mum isn't Cope's mum. She's just mine and Plym's," which Mikey probably knew? It wasn't all that important since Zahra's mum had adopted ...everyone as her own,but particularly Copernicus... but still. Z's Mum was NOT Copey's mum. "And like.... his REAL mum died in a place like this? She got struck my lightning or something. WILD, right?" Zahra asked as she actually took out parchment to try and do .... something Astronomy-ish. Zahra was desperate for House Points so she'd dragged Mikey up here. That Airey dude was probably crazy enough TO give them points. |
Zahra loved to tell him things he already knew. Michael had a feeling she did it to make sure that he was listening to what she was saying. Not that she would ever let him ignore her. He nodded his head about the information in regards to her mum and Cope. "Not sure wild is the word I would use." He said dryly but with a hint of amusement in his eyes. The woman had died after all. Michael looked at Zahra and raised an eyebrow as she took out some parchment but he said nothing about it. Instead he walked over to the edge of the tower's wall and peered over it. "Have you ever seen the muggles jump off tall buildings? I want to try that." He would need to buy a parachute first. |

"You better wait 'til we're of age. Or when you're with your Uncle Adri." Who.... could get them INTO and OUT OF trouble at his leisure. Mikey's Uncle Adri was *REALLY* really cool like that. REALLY cool. Zahra kindof wanted to be like him. Kind of. |
"Yeah, my mum was married to someone else as well." Only he didn't think it was wild. He didn't like to talk about that time when his mum was with someone else. He didn't remember a lot of it but he remembered her not being there all the time. Michael looked over the edge again and shrugged his shoulders. "I don't think I need to be of age." He wasn't entirely sure about that though. he turned back to face Z. "Yeah Uncle Adri, would definitely let me do it. He'll probably jump with me." Yep that's what he was going to do. he would go see his uncle. Maybe at Christmas. He noted the pencils in her hand and his eyebrow raised again. "Which part of the homework assignment are you doing?" |

But yeah, Mikey's Uncle Adri WOULD cover and jump with him. That'd be fine. Zahra wasn't big on heights, so she'd.... just stay quiet on this matter. Definitely not inviting herself along hehe. "I wasn't. I was writing a letter to Copey and ask him for some of his old Astronomy stuff to copy for extra points." hahaha But seriously. |

Michael tossed her a wink and chuckled some more that was until she went on about being struck by lightning. How she thought that being struck by lightning would be wild, he had no idea. But this was Zahra. "What have you got against Hufflepuffs?" Michael moved away from the edge and sat down beside Z. "Fine I'll wait until I am of age, but only because I would do anything for you." He gave her an affectionate nudge. "You think he would do that?" Maybe he should ask Aunt Cela for some of her notes as well and not just Astronomy notes either. He slung his arm over her shoulders and drew her closer to him. "You do realise that if we want to go to Hogsmeade that we're going to have to go separately." He wouldn't put it passed his parents to stay at the cottage when Hogsmeade weekend came around. And Plymouth lived in the village and he was against their relationship as well. |

THAT comment about Hogsmeade... gave Zahra a pause. She hadn't at all thought of that, not at ALL. Most stuff rolled off of her like water on a duck's back, but she was feeling the weight of THAT statement, that truth. "Then we just won't go, I guess. Or you can go with friends... if you want." HUGE BUMMER OF A THOUGHT. "We've been pretty good though.... I mean better than usual........."....... |
Bored Peeves made his way through the castle and up into the Astronomy Tower, coming to the observatory. Mischief was on his mind and he thought the perfect place would be to use the telescopes. As he got up into the tower he noticed two students there. This was Peeves lucky day. "Oh lookie lookie students kissing in the tower. No no no that isn't allowed. Peeves should tell on you he should." He cackled as he floated closer to them. "Are we writing love notes too. STUDENTS KISSING IN THE OBSERVATORY. STUDENTS KISSING IN THE OBSDERVATORY." Cackling he moved closer snatching the paper from the girl. "Got your note" He waved it around over her head. |

Heeheeheeeheee Even better than a punch to Peeves? Seeing Toussaint KISS a Peeves. Bahahaha. |

For Lux :3! Kace decided it was time to go to the observatory. He had never been here before. He was excited to look at some stars with one of his best friends he had known at Hogwarts. He wondered if Bay was gonna come here too. If he didn't come it wasn't a big deal. But he managed to climb the stairs and make it to the top. It was gorgeous up here. It was a clear night, so he was able to see all the stars. He smiled and knew it was gonna be fun. He decided to check out the telescope while waiting for Lux. It seemed clean and all ready to go. |

Lux and Kace Bay had just decided to go for a walk.. he was bored and he had some free time so there was no harm in checking out the school. Making his way up to the Observatory he hasn't been here since last year while he was doing homework. He opened the door and spotted Lux and Kace, "I wonder what they are doing?" walking over to them, Kace's back was to him he walked real slow because if Lux looked his way he wanted to make sure she got the hint that he was going to scare Kace.. Creeping up slowly and trying to be quite as possible he reached Kace's back "BOOOOOOOOO" He yelled while grabbing Kace's shoulders to add to the effect. |
SPOILER!!: Lux :3 Ah he remembered the Cucumber nickname. He smirked at that. "Well i will think of something, I am sure something will pop out at me and then it will hit me to call you it. But the day will come I am sure of it.." he smiled. He waved her off when she wasn't an expert and said, "I am sure you are better than me.." he shrugged. Did he know the spell to focus? He kind of did. But he needed a reminder. "Ermm...can you help me and tell me?" he scratched his neck kind of embarrassed about it. He knew Airey would be disappointed in him right now. SPOILER!!: Bay :3!! Kace was still looking and he jumped so high. He turned around quickly and put his hand over his heart. "Bloody Hell Bay.." he said breathing fast. "You scared me really good." he chuckled giving it to him. He wished he could have done that to Lux come to think of it. After his heart rate was at a steady rate he asked, "How have you been mate?" |

Sorry I made you wait so long Michael stood glancing between his girlfriend and the poltergeist as they both decided on who he was supposed to kiss. He stretched out his arms toward Peeves beckoning him forward because he knew that the Poltergeist would not go through with it. And thank Merlin he didn't. Once the annoying little man had gone, Michael turned his attention back to Zahra. "Thank Merlin, he's gone." He dropped his hands by his sides and grinned. "I must say though, you were quite keen to pass me off to the pesky poltergeist." He raised an eyebrow at her. "Am I always going to be kissing our way out of trouble?" Hahahahahaha. |

"And you're obviously doing it wrong. When you throw a punch, you need to put your body into it." He kissed the top of her head. "Do you want me to teach you?" |
