Stepping into the arena, you are immediately enveloped with the light shining into the room, either morning or evening depending on what time you decide to enter, yet it's as chilly as a snow covered stone statue. An extra cloak or two would be helpful. If you can tear your gaze away from the intricately designed windows and high ceilings could, you can see to the very right of the room, there is the long platform in which supervised duels will take place while four benches on either side are placed at a safe distance for those who would like to sit and watch. Just ahead of the platform in the right corner, there is a door, though pay no attention to it. It's locked for a reason.
Towards the back wall, there are various types of practice dummies, both stationary and moving, depending on what difficulty the practicer wants. Don't be afraid to go all out with your spells, for these dummies are charmed to repair themselves. There is one practice dummy set aside that will shoot spells back to the practicer, however, permission from a Professor is required to use it. To the left side of the arena are two sets of stands, eight seats high, that look out to the entire arena, comfortable for those who would just like to watch what's going on all around or for general purposes such as studying or relaxing after a long day in the arena.
The middle of the room is quite empty, due to the fact that the defense Professor enjoys presenting lessons in here, but please, despite the brilliant light that shines through the arena due to the large windows, it is not some place to sunbathe or fall asleep. You will be levitated out with a good dose of cold water splashed on you if caught.

Finishing her wand practice, Jasmine was ready to attempt her spell for real this time. She happened to notice Lux and Adi enter the arena. Jasmine gave them both a wave and said, "Hi guys". Turning back to the task at hand, she knew that it was time to get her thoughts together and focus. It was hard because what she really wanted to do was watch Cris do his thing on the other side of the room. If she'd did that though, she would never get her homework finished.
Turning back to face her dummy, Jasmine tried focus only on that. She visualized herself casting the spell and the the dummy exploding into thousands of pieces. Raising her wand, she took a deep breath and moved her wand right then left in a sideways V shape. At the same time, Jasmine said, "Reducto". Trying hard to maintain her concentration as she completed the spell, she kept her eyes fixed on the dummy. When the dummy was in fact blasted into pieces, Jasmine was able to finally relax. She had done it. Now she had to do it again. She pointed her wand and called out, "Finite". Sneaking a quick peek at Cris, Jasmine tried to prepare herself for her second try.

Having successfully cast the Reductor Curse twice, Arista started to get cocky. She was excited she had been able to do it and she got overconfident. So when she did the next time, she went faster.
Arista resumed the dueling stance, she stood sideways, planting her left foot in front of her, and her right foot, pointed towards the dummy. She made sure her feet were the way they were supposed to be. She took a deep breath and then emptied her mind, she was ready for this. She visulaized the dummy blowing up and then pointed her wand at the dummy.
And that is where it all went downhill.
Instead of going to the right first she went to the left first and then to the left. She yelled out "Reducto!"
This time however there was no blue beam of light shooting out from her wand. There was nothing.
What did she do wrong??!!!
She must have skipped a step, she got overconfident!

Having practiced a few times already, Cris decided that he had enough practice for today. The professor had said that they should practice for at least thirty minutes throughout the week, and it had already been past thirty minutes today. He would return tomorrow.
Picking up his backpack, he slung it over one shoulder before he motioned to Jasmine and his friends that he would seem them later once they were done with their own practice. Waving goodbye to them, he headed out of the Dueling Arena.

Arista was back again ready to practice some more! She had done it well the other day except for the last time she practiced the day before where she messed up in the wand movement, so before she did any spells today she would be doing some silly wand waving first!
She gave a quick slash right to left like a sideways V. Right to left. Quick slash right to left. Right to left. She repeated the wand movement several times before deciding she had enough practice and it was time to get on the real thing.
She took the stance for casting the spell and closed her eyes she could do this! She began to clear her mind of all thoughts and imagined what she wanted the spell to do. Opening her eyes she took another deep breath before raising her wand and pointing it towards the dummy.
Then with a quick slash of her wand right first and then to the left, she called out, "Reducto!!", this time the spell worked and a bright blue beam shot out from her wand headed straight for the dummy's head. Arista smiled, she took it slow this time and it had worked. From now on she would not get overconfident and would always take her time!!
She called out, "Finite!" to ensure that the spell had ended, and just to be safe.

Cris returned the next day refreshed and ready to cast the Reductor Curse again. For the past few days, he had first tried casting it verbally, which he had been successful with and then he tried casting the spell non-verbally. He had failed on his first attempt but was successful on his second and third.
He was back to practice again. he would attempt to do it verbally first. Cris began warming up to limber up his muscles. Then he assumed his sideways stance, his body facing away from the dummy, his left foot pointing to the front and his right foot pointed towards the dummy.
He was now ready to prepare to cast the spell. He closed his eyes and took a couple of deep, relaxing breaths, slowly releasing each breath, before taking another one in. As he was doing this, he began to clear his mind before bringing up the image of the dummy in front of him.
Cris focussed all his concentration on the dummy and what he wanted the spell to do when its beam hit it. Keeping that image in his mind's eye, Cris slowly opened his eyes and turned his head to look at the dummy.
Slowly raising his wand, Cris pointed it at the dummy. As he focussed on harnessing all his energy into the spell he was about to cast, Cris waved his wand in a quick slash first to the right and then to the left forming a sideways V formation and called out, "Reducto!"
Immediately, a bright beam of light shot out from his wand, and flew straight to the dummy. Would the spell work? Cris waited with abated breath.
BOOM!! the dummy broke apart in smithereens.
Yes the spell had worked. Cris released the breath he was holding and quickly ended the spell, saying, "Finite."
Tora made her way into the DADA dueling room to practice the Reductor Curse. Not too hard, right? She seemed to have a hang of it by the end of last class, but in the Fourth Year's experience, just because she got it in class, didn't mean she could repeat it outside of class. It was a weird sort of thing. She dropped her messenger bag by the door and nodded a hello to the other students in the room. Time to face her formidable foe: a practice dummy.
She pulled her wand out from her back pocket and practiced the wand movement a couple times. Back and forth. Right then left... or was it left then right? No. It was definitely right then left. She shouldn't doubt herself! There. Now for practicing the words. It was a pretty simple spell, one she had learned a while back. It was just a bit rusty since she hadn't used it in quite a while. "Reducto... Reducto," she said, carefully not doing anything with her wand so it wouldn't fire off the spell. When she was ready she stepped forward, directly facing the dummy.
"Reducto!" she declaimed in as dramatic a way as possible. Why not have a bit of fun while doing homework?

Right. Adi was ready. Lifting his wand in his left hand, he pointed it at the dummy. "Reducto!'' he said loudly and clearly as he made the side ways V with the wand. Instantly, blue light left the magic stick and made a beeline for the dummy.
Adi watched in anticipation, waiting for his spell to blast the dummy into pieces. But all it did was hit the dummy squarely on the nose, leaving just a hint of a mark on it. Er...okay. Maybe he needed to concentrate harder?

Seeing Lux come in was awesome he stopped practicing to give her a big hug. "heyyyyyy" he lifted her up in the air and quickly put her back down.. "doing your homework?" he knew he didn't need an answer because thats exactly why she was here. "do you need any of my help?" he would always offer assistance to Lux no matter what it was.
and as soon as he was about to blow one of the dummies into dust he heard his name and he stopped. Zander.. the fun cool kid…. "hey mate!" he replied as he watched him attempt to blow up the dummie.. "errrrrr did you need some of my help?" he was just offering help a lot today, oh well GO BAY GO.
While waiting for their answers he picked up his own wand and moved it through the air in a sideways "V" as he said "Reducto" thinking really hard about the dummy going POOF he saw it do just the same.. "this is awesome" this was some fun homework thats for sure.

Zander smiled at Bay's hello. They were mates, Zander had a mate. This was so exciting! Zander had never had a mate before. AH BEAUTIFUL BAY, YOU MATE SENT FROM HEAVAN ABOVE. Help? YES PUH-LEASE. "Reduc-to???" the third year tried again aiming at the dummy. Yeah.... Nothing. Bay, enlighten poor Zander with your beautiful knowledge, mate. Again, pointing his wand to the dummy he tried once more, "REDUCTOOH?"

Nothing.
So does practice really make perfect? Or was this just a myth?

EEP! Big hug. Lux beamed as she hugged Bay back, even being lifted off of the ground. This was fuuuuun, and she was happy that they had come to practice at the same time. "Heeey, I would never say no to help from you." It was a given. Even if she didn't actually NEED help, she would still WANT it from him for reasons. Those reasons being that he was her boyfriend and she liked him helping her.
And this boy must have been one of Bay's friends who she hadn't met yet. "Hello, I am Lux," she said to him with a smile. It was always nice to meet people, and this boy seemed adorable. Probably best not to let him know she thought he was cute, because boys didn't like hearing that kind of thing. Humming to herself, she started doing the slashes with her wand as her dummy kept healing itself. "Haha, I kicked that guy's butt."

okay sweet so Zander wasn't offended by Bay offering his help….phew… "wicked.. alright… so…." before he continued he thought it was best for him to talk to both Zander and Lux together because she had accepted his help as well.
"all you need to say is Reducto.." he broke it down for them as well "like "re-DUCK-toh" maybe just try to say it a few times before combining it with the wand movement" ohhh Bay you forgot that they might not know or remember what it was.. "ohhh the movement is a sideways "v" in the air going from the right to the left" he demonstrated the movement. "why don't you guys give those a try separately?" Bay was being such a good teacher he thought.

This was hopeless. Defense Against the Dark Arts was stupid. Zander wanted more than anything to give up now. This is dumb. Defense is SO dumb. HMPH. But he was a Gryffindor after all, so giving up wasn't really his thing. Besides, his MATE (heh) was here watching him and so was a girl... Oh. A girl? A girl who just so happened to turn and talk to him? Yeah giving up is definitely not an option right now....

"I'm um-I'm Zander," he was trying really hard to get out of this whole "shy phase", well his mother had called it a "phase". Speaking of his MATE, the great Bay is ready to shed his light upon the poor plebeians *cough* Zander. "Re-Duck-Toh, got it," he nodded his head enthusiastically. WOW MATE, YOU ARE GOOD. "Re-DUCK-toh, re-duck-toh, re-duck-toh! I think I've got it down," Okay now for the movement. AHA! Maybe that's why his spells didn't work? Because he forgot to do the movement?
Why were the movements so important anyways. Ugh. DADA is dumb. Sideways 'v'? That's kinda strange, but if his MATE says so then it must be the way, yep yep. Right to left, v shape, and reducto. Why was this so complicated?
Zander did the v-thingy a couple times. Hey, MATE, how's this?!? "How does this look, mate?"MATE, MATE, MATE. A real life mate that is actually living and breathing and teaching him. Zander's got a FRIEND. AH.

Oh gosh, this boy was too cute for words. Smiling more because he seemed rather shy, Lux hoped that maybe it would help get him more comfortable. "Nice to meet you, Zander. I think you are off to a good start with your practicing." Nod. Encouragement, and not a lie either. The pronunciation was off a little, but he still was close to saying it right. A lot of people had trouble with pronunciation, Bay being one of them.
His compliment made her blush slightly. "Well, thank you. I'm really trying to get better at spellwork." Last term she kept having confidence issues, but now she was jumping at the chance to use more and more spells.

Bay really WAS a natural teacher, as he was a natural planner. He was so smart and talented. Smiling, she listened as he gave the incantation and wand movement. The fact that she already knew that stuff didn't matter to her at all. "Reducto." Saying the word over and over again, she got some extra practice in because why not. Multiple slashes with her wand followed. It was all fluid movements; once she had done it a few times, it was effortless.

Awesome watching them practice was amazing, he knew that Lux didn't really need his help but was glad she was playing along. But Zander over here needed some big help. "see you have the words right" he nodded in encouragement. This kid was going in the right direction. But now he had to laugh was he blushing at Lux, waahhhhoooo there Zander this little puff was spoken for. Knowing he meant no harm he continued.
"oh yeah sorry guys, Zander this is Lux my girlfriend and Lux this is Zander, I should have introduced you both' sorry about that " laughing now he saw that Lux was really good too so maybe most of his attention should go to Zander. " wand movement is very important " wait when Zander tried last time did he even do movements? That could be his problem. " I think your good to try it on your own now "
While he waited he crossed his wand in front of him in the sideways v going from right to left as he said " Reducto" so far he was two for two, woot.
A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.
Kevin was pretty excited about this homework. Blowing stuff up was a thing he loved to do the most so the the boy had a grin on his face when he entered the dueling arena.
He completely ignored the others who were inside of the arena, practising the Reducto spell on the dummies in the back. While he walked towards the back of the room himself, he chose a dummy and rolled it towards the other end of the room. He then flicked his wrist and grabbed the wand that fell out of his wrist holster and pointed it at the dummy in front of him. Okay so, how did the spell go again?
The Gryffindor thought, trying to remember the lesson. He should have written down notes... But he knew it was something with a V shaped to the side...but which side again? Mweh, it would be fun to find that out and he would know if he had it wrong or right soon enough.
"Reducto!" he shouted and moved his wand in left-sided V shape. He watched the dummy intently, hoping that it would blow up but instead ...nothing happened. "Reducto!" he did the same wrong movement again and this time something DID happen. Instead of destroying it, the dummy got bigger and bigger in size. Eeeeh? whaaat was happening?!
Kevin looked around in panic, hoping that someone would help him but then he remembered he didn't need any help and that no one liked him anyways. So he turned back to the still getting bigger looking dummy and THOUGHT. Think Kevin, THINK! What had he done wrong?
It took a few moments but then he knew. He used the spell in the wrong way! "Reducto!" he shouted again and this time he waved his wand to the right with a V shape. Blue light came out of the wand and flew towards the dummy. But it changed direction and hit the wall beside the dummy. The dummy had now stopped growing in size but the wall of the dueling arena wasn't so happy. Poor wall...

Ready to try again, Jasmine went through her mental preparation. Saying the incantation in her head, she pictured the dummy blowing up. This was an even better stress buster than de-gnoming the garden. If you were feeling angry or upset, take it out on the dueling dummy. No one gets hurt that way and you feel a whoooole lot better afterward.
Time to give it a go. Jasmine took her wand and made a sideways V shape by moving it right then left. Saying, "Reducto" with enthusiasm, she watched as the jet of light connected with the dummy. BAM. Where the dummy had been standing before, there was nothing but a pile of debris. "Yes", Jasmine said to herself. She was two for two and looking for more.

Ah...the tricks he had learned. They weren't many tricks he had learned but he definitely knew more than that he did a year ago. So who knows?
He watched as the Professor began to wiggle his arm , probably to see if it was snug enough and when he confirmed that he couldn't move his arm much the Gryffindor smiled proudly at his work while crossing his arms over each other. And then he was talking about disrespect and not bowing or whatever. The second year rolled his eyes. "Oh no, i don't disrespect you good sir" he said in a mocking voice. He disrespected all authority. Bunch of stuck ups they were in Kevin's mind. Always thinking they were better.
He unfolded his arms when the Professor did bow for him, although it looked weird because of his tied arm , and held his Phoenix feather wand in his right hand, getting ready. But the man continued to talk instead of duel after he bowed.
No respect leads to anger..anger leads...what on earth did that even mean?! Kevin huffed loudly because one he had no idea what the man was trying to imply and second, he didn't want to talk, he wanted to duel. Typical Gryffindor eh? And besides, he wanted payback for last year. So when the Professor was talking about Anger leading to Hate and BLAHBLAH , the Gryffindor had pointed his wand at him and with a swish that he had learned he shouted.
"petrificus totalus!"
There was no light that his eyes could follow but he sure hoped that it had caught him of guard and that it had hit its target. Yes, it was dirty. And yes, he had told another student he would never duel like that...but if the Professor could attack him during his first year while HE had been defenseless...he could do the same.
He WAS aware that his words and his tone were very contradictory, yes? Airey was not a fan of contradiction unless it was blatant sarcasm meant to be amusing and THIS was not amusing to say the least considering that it was at the professor's expense. He would just make his bow a bit more extravagant then with some arm flailing and nodding of the head.
Oh, that reminded him...
Standing up straight again, and since they OBVIOUSLY needed begin at the count of three, he reached into his charmed pocket for something that he had been keeping safe ever since last term and placed it on his head. Yep. It was the very hat that he had confiscated from Mr. Hirase towards the beginning of last term - stretched out just a little since the astronomer had a slightly elongated forehead compared to the Gryffindor. Suited him quite well if he said so himself, or so he imagined since there was no mirror around to check things. Even if he had done so earlier in his office. Heh.
"Now we --------" Or no counting to three it seemed as in the very next moment there was a spell being shot in his direction. And, really, Airey wasn't surprised too much by his actions NOR the spell that he had selected. Reversed deja vu. Heh.
Grinning from ear to ear with amusement, Airey gave his wand an almost effortless wave and cast a Shield Charm around himself to prevent the spell from hitting. "Well, aren't we just the eager beaver," he taunted with an amused twinkle in his blue eyes before retaliating with his own spell. "Densaugeo."
And for the boy's own benefit he wouldn't use nonverbals. Sort of a limitation he was setting on himself. Let the games begin!

Jasmine had successfully completed the spell twice. Ready to try it again, she wanted to challenge herself a little more his time. Taking a page from boyfriend Cris' book, she decided to try the spell nonverbally. Jasmine had see him practicing the spell that way earlier. Nonverbal spells were definitely not her forte so she could use all the practice she could get.
Nonverbal spells, Jasmine suspected, called for an extra dose of concentration. So she did just that, concentrated.......hard. Jasmine pictured the dummy blowing up as it had a moment ago when she'd cast the spell. Then she moved her wand to the right then left with the old sideways V shape. Trying to maintain her focus, Jasmine thought "Reducto" in her head. Looking at the dummy, she saw a little puff of smoke come from it, but no explosion. She wasn't too disappointed because the smoke was really more than she had expected on the first try.

Was that? Kevin cocked his head to the side and narrowed his eyes. Was that HIS hat?! He had to be honest, because of all this revenge stuff he had almost forgotten that the Professor had his hat for over a year now. And now that he saw it, the Gryffindor was determined to get it back.
Win the duel AND get his hat back! That was his unrealistic goal.
He watched as the man moved HIS hat towards his own head and the Gryffindor's eyes widened. "Your forehead is too big for the hat! Now give it ba---....oh..." HOW ON EARTH DID THE HAT FIT?! Confusion was written all over his face as Flamsteed was now wearing HIS hat.
Muttering bad words under his breath, Kevin decided to concentrate on the spell he had sent his way. His eyes were getting wider with enthusiasm because he just KNEW that his spell would hit the Professor. But then...he ....blocked it....Shield Charm? or..."YA! THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO HIT---"
The boy's eyes widened when he saw a flash of light flying directly at his face. He had not heard which spell the Professor had said and he didn't want to find out when it would hit him. So the Gryffindor ducked to the floor, holding his arms above his head in defense and felt the energy of the spell rush over his head.
So...this was what a duel was eh? He lifted his head up to look at the Professor and pointed his wand back at him. "Flip.." WHAT WAS THE SPELL AGAIN?! He had written down and practised spells but NOW he couldn't remember them!?
Oh! He remembered! "FLIPENDO!" ...oh gosh he was such a noob.
Lex chuckled at Cutty's brilliant point. It was always better knowing a spell as opposed to being faced with a situation that required it but having no knowledge of how to proceed. "Fair point. Even more reason to learn it then. 'Sides, I'll be of age once summer rolls around. I may not have anything to blow up at school but I can think of some good uses once I'm out of this place." She couldn't wait! It promised to be one of the best summers she'd had in a while.
And there was something. Looking to get some practice in. "Yeah?" Lex regarded the Third Year with avid curiosity. "What kind of spells you been reading about? Hexes? Curses? Defensive magic?" She didn't mind defense but the Gryffindor always felt better on the offence. Nothing quite like a curse done proper inflicting damage the way it should to get your blood pumping.
The Prefect thought over his suggestion. What she'd been blowing up? A dummy, but she supposed it couldn't give off that big an explosion just the way it was. Pity too, she was looking to entertain herself while she practice. Lex watched him enlargen the dummy once it was back in one piece then took aim again. "Bombarda Maxima!" It wasn't quite the earth shattering effect she'd expected but it was far more impressive than the others so she'd take it.
"You know..." She said, now looking to him again, "You could give those spells a shot if you want. I wouldn't mind sparring with you." Y'know, if he was up for it.
Cutty felt a surge of urgency. If Lex turned of age over the summer then maybe she wouldn't want to practice in the dueling arena as much, being able to do magic anyplace, anytime and he had long marked her as someone from which he ought to be practicing his defensive spells with. Also, although midnight chocolate runs would be a possibility, he feared losing some business to the fact that as an 'of age' student, Cambridge could leave the castle for a spree at Honeydukes during their normal operating business hours.
There was a lot of damage, he imagined, Alexa Cambridge could do between morning and evening.
"Hexes and Curses? Merlin, Lex. I wish you'd teach me some of that. Most of the books in the library don't even cover how to. I mean, they'll tell you certain hexes and curses exist, but not how to do them." It wasn't subtle, exactly. He'd asked for what he wanted.
He stood back as Lex detonated the dummy with her spell. "I mean I do know of one. Reducto. Which I came here to practice. The particles just aren't of a fine enough grade for me. So I must be doing something wrong." Maybe she could help him with that and later, he'd ask her about the book she'd read last year: A Compendium of Common Curses and Their Counter-Actions.
"Reducto!" He said firing at one of the relaxed defense dummies in the corner and reducing it to a thick black sand-like ash.

Stepping into the duelling arena brown eyes flickered all over. Maddie had mentioned duelling before but Kyroh never really thought there would be an arena for it. The thought of duelling itself didn't really appeal to him.If you duelled someone you had the possibility to hurt them.
And why would he want to hurt anyone?
Visiting the duelling area for practicing spells though, that made more sense. Especially if he had to practice a CURSE.
Kyroh ventured over to the back of the room with the training dummies, and couldn't help but notice that there were no mats in this room. Guess that meant no napping in the duelling area either. Walking right up to one stationary training dummy he glanced at it, head lifted.
Even though it was just a dummy it was taller than him, which was sort of strange, because if it wasn't a dummy that just meant that it could hurt him more than he could hurt it. "I'm going to start throwing curses at you okay? But only 'cause I have to." He had to give it warning. It was only fair!
Talking a few steps back he raised his wand.
Kyroh pointed and "Reducto!" he yelled flicking his wand to the right and left. A blast left his wand but to say that it was off target was an understatement, as it collided right into the back wall behind the dummy, sending small chunks of stone crumbling onto the ground.

With a big hole in the wall, the Gryffindor had no idea how to repair and and he didn't really care either. This was a dueling arena so there were bound to be holes in the walls everywhere right? The Professor would probably clean everything up in the evening and the whole arena would be as brand new again.
He was dissapointed though that he had missed his target because he COULD perform this spell. So he just needed to work on his aim a little. He pointed his wand at the dummy again and slashed it in a V shaped motion to the right. "Reducto!" he shouted and watched the blue light fly out of the wand but before it hit the dummy....it vanished in to thin air.
What....? Frowning, the Gryffindor waved the phoenix wand around as if it would help. But as he did so, red sparks flew out and fell on the ground around his feet. He had no idea what he had just done but he stopped waving and luckily the red sparks dissapeared after a few seconds.
Taking a deep breath, the boy aimed his wand back at the dummy that he still had not been able to hit and used the "Reducto!" spell another time. There was blue light again and it was even brighter than before and he watched the beam of light ...scrape the arm of the dummy... before it hit the wall.
Homework. Why was Nigel doing homework. He should be studying or something. Not doing homework. Not like he can fail from not doing it. Maybe, who knows. He had never tried. Now onto practicing a charm on an inanimate object. It would be more fun if it could move and such.
But no.
So here he was in front a dummy about to curse it. Maybe verbally and physically. Well enough thoughts for now. Onto the cursing.
"Reducto"
Blue light right into the dummies head. Awesome and one point for Nigel. Might as well make a game out of it.

Zander looked back and forth going from Lux to Bay then Bay to Lux then Lux to MATE and MATE to soulMATE. Were they even old enough to date? He knew Bay was old, but was he thaaaaat old? "Oooooooh," the third year nodded in understanding. So what do girlfriends and boyfriends even do? "Ewww do you guys.....kiss? And hold hands? And feed each other cake?" GROSS!
Girls were pretty and sometimes nice to look at, but this lion wasn't going to have a girlfriend ever. No way dating is gross! Okay, maybe he'd consider having a girlfriend later, but he was only 13! Was it even legal to have a girlfriend at age 13?? Is that, like, allowed?
Now back to work! He was here to practice after all, not chit chat about (ew) girlfriends. Practicing the movement one more time Zander decided to add the two together. "Reducto!" he shouted closing his eyes and praying that it worked. BOOM! AH IT WORKED!
... well... sort of....
His aim needed some work. He did the spell correctly, finally, but he didn't quite hit the dummy. Oooops. Poor wall, didn't even see it coming.

The fact that Bay was focusing his attention on Zander made Lux smile. The little Lion needed assistance a lot more than her, and she could get loads of attention from Bay later on. As long as he kept helping her because she liked it, everything was awesome.
In the meantime her dummy had healed, so it was a perfect time for her to kick its butt again. With a slash to the right and a slash to the left, she called out "REDUCTO!" BOOM! The dummy hadn't stood a chance against her. Happily, she squealed and couldn't wait to do it again.
Awww, Zander really didn't seem to know antything about dating. "I take it you don't have a girlfriend." Which was perfectly cool, since he seemed her age and that was a time when some people weren't ready yet. "We haven't fed each other cake, but that sounds like fun! I love cake." And now she wanted some.
