Beside the Restricted section a new room magically appeared last year. Mr Kitridge stumbled over it when he was following a trail of rat and wombat droppings. The room was then furnished with bookshelves, a few comfy sofas, reading lamps, side tables and a few plants. On the shelves you can find books, pamphlets and magazines about any and all magical careers/professions known to exist in the magical world.
Come in, grab a magazine or book and dream about what you want to work with when you graduate from Hogwarts.

"I would have to agree," she said with a soft laugh as she settled. "So, speaking of Quidditch, have you been flying much?" she asked her friend. After all, last year she had been afraid of heights and they had been working on getting her to fly higher and higher over the course of the year.
"I'll see what I can do," she said with a laugh. "Everything has been fabulous," she said. "Except for..." she shot a glare over at the pile of books and parchment. "The homework load," she said with a groan. "I just want it all to be finished," she moaned, putting her forehead on the table.
But then, another voice was heard. She raised her head to grin at her fellow Gryffindor. "BAY!" she said, pausing her her rush for a hug to let him kiss his girlfriend. When he was done, she tackled him. "How are you?" she asked, laughing.

Giggle. Tessa totally would agree with that one; Lux knew right away because she knew her friend so well. Had she done any flying? "No, sadly I haven't. And now it's way too cold to even try." It was okay, because she was terrified anyway. She considered the bad weather to be a good excuse not to practice because it was actually TRUE.
"Awesome. I'm glad you are well and will wear a tracker so I can keep in touch with you." More giggles. She understood that Tessa was super busy, but every once in a while she would like to see her friend. "Homework kicks my butt," she agreed with a nod. It was so hard to keep up with everything. Last term seemed so much easier than this one.
And there was Bay!! "Hello, bebs. Long time no see." Hehe. That was such a lie and everyone would know it. Beaming as he kissed her cheek, she had no time to respond before Tessa had tackled him. Lux laughed really hard at that; it was so cute.

Or a behind the desk type person? Or both?
Of course she knew he was muggleborn, and she hadn't really thought much of it until he said it like that. "You know that you're not in any way limited to working only a wizard career? Right? There are a number of respectable witches and wizards that live, work and coexist in the muggle world..." just in case he didn't think it was an option. There was nothing wrong with being a muggleborn, or a muggle for that matter.
Zander listened carefully as Professor Bentley explained how she came about taking an interest in herbology. Not that he was particularly fond of the subject himself, but he was fond of her. And totally took an interest in her hobbies as a result, duh. Well... Sort of... It was just interesting to see what she had to say. Especially because she took such a passion in the well being of her plants. Ah, passion. That's so hot. Ahem. So nice. Yeah, so nice.
Then as the question was shot back at Kitridge, Zander looked in his direction. He shifted around a little on his seat on the couch. He still couldn't believe his luck! Sitting right next to Professor Bentley and everything! Except, it probably wasn't luck. Because he was still feeling all the stomach stabbies in action. Yeah. Not luck. And the blanket? It was starting to get really hot. The blanket probably had little to do with it actually. It was more like sitting next to Professor Bentley and all the panicking he was doing on the inside that was raising his temperature. He could feel himself starting to sweat even more. AH. But he couldn't take the blanket off after she had put it on him. No. That would be rude.
Then, Professor Bentley started addressing him again. AH. MORE STABBIES. Practical work? What did that mean? Theoretical knowledge, huh? "Theoretical knowledge?.... What-what kind of jobs want that stuff?" It was a genuine question. He could've probably figured it out on his own actually, but with his head spinning and heart pumping so quickly, it was difficult to think straight.
And then when she tried to assure him that some respectable wizards worked in the muggle world, he felt his heart sink a little. It's not like he didn't want to work there or anything. It's just... It was so predictable. It was he was always supposed to do. Even before he found out he was a wizard. And besides, he didn't want to be over shadowed by his brothers forever. And they'd be in the muggle world too, which would set them all as an easy comparison. He wanted to prove that he was special in his own way and a part of that was being a wizard. No he couldn't go back. He couldn't possibly. Especially now that he knew all the capabilities of magic. "I-I... I don't really think I w-want to go back to the muggle world..." He looked down at his feet for a few seconds before speaking once more. "I-I just don't think it would be the same?"

Yeah. Schuyler was lounging on a comfy sofa in the corner room doing her studying.
Or what was supposed to be studying. By this point she'd already pored over her Potions textbook for a good two hours and now her brain was getting fuzzy. Things were distracting her. Scratch that, she was looking for things to distract her. If only Olly just so happened to show up, they could go rattle books and things together.. But, NO. No no. That's why she tried to study in the library fairly often: no girlfriends to distract her, and thus she got more done.

Making his way through the library, Bryant found the little room that had served as a tutor room for Mel and himself. Seeing there was no one inside, he slipped in, making himself comfortable on the couch. Mel would be there shortly, he hoped, as this time he actually wanted to ask her out rather than chicken out like all the other times he had planned to ask her. He glanced around the room and fiddled with the note in his pocket, waiting for Mel to show up.
While he was waiting, he thought about the recent occurrences with the cold and the stormy weather. If it kept up through the summer, Bryant was worried that he wouldn't make it back home for the summer, or if they did have to leave, would they be able to get out safely and be able to get their pets home too. He wasn't too worried about that yet though. Instead, as he sat there, his mind drifted to his HoH who still wasn't awake having ventured to the woods in the storm with a couple students. What was wrong with this school?

Melek came in wearing her black jeans and her baggy sweatshirt. She glanced around and smiled when she saw Bryant. Mel tried to keep back a blush. Why does he have to be so cute... I wander who he is crushing on... She plopped down on the couch next to him, tossing her bag at the foot of the couch. Melek put her feet up on the table and smiled at Bryant, "Hey, freak." Mel smirked, teasing him. "What shall we study today? History? Potions? Astronomy? Muggle Studies?" She tilted her head and looked at him. I like you... like really really a lot... why cant you like me back? A sigh accidentally escaped as she glanced down, pulling her bag up onto her lap and started to dig around in it, taking out a notebook, a quill and an inkwell. She started to doodle on the first free page. "So... how are you? I mean... anything new? Is it just freezing or is it just me?" She rubbed her arms and shivered. Melek glanced down and bit her tongue, trying not to ramble on and on.

She glanced down and started to nibble at one of her fingernails, trying to hide the blush. Melek packed her bag since he didnt want to study at the moment. "Sooooo... what are you wanting to do instead?" Mel glanced up at him.
She shrugged and nodded, "Yeah... it is insanely cold... I cant wait to get back to Turkey where it is warm... Hogwarts seems dangerous... why is it even open after all these years... seems like something goes wrong every year..." Mel sighed and looked at him then quickly down. "Im okay... I guess... I lost my best friend earlier this year but at least I have others... like you, Kade, Hat Girl and others..." Melek sighed, missing Annaleecia. Mel glanced at the note that he gave her and looked at him for a few moments before starting to read it. Her eyes grew as she finished the note and she looked at him. "Bryant..." Melek nodded and smiled at him, "Yeah, really. I have been crushing on you all year... but I thought you didnt like me..." Mel blushed and looked down at the floor before looking back up. She noticed that he was looking around the room but didnt think much of it. Her eyes widened and her blush grew as he kissed her cheek. Melek giggled but grew embarrassed that she had giggled at the kiss. Mel was as red as a cherry. She quickly leaned over and kissed his cheek as well before straightening up. Melek looked around, blushing still before glancing down at her bag.

The second place that Lux decided to insulate was one of the rooms in the library.
She really liked Mr. Kitridge and hated what had happened to him, so she thought that making at least part of his domain resistant to the cold would be a nice thing to do. Besides, she loved this place and had spent more and more time reading here since the lock down had started.
Selecting a spot by one of the comfy chairs, she got to work. Wand pointed at the wall, she made the figure eight. "Caelum Saepio!" Seeing the fog, she moved over to another spot in the same section and drew another figure eight. "Caelum Saepio!"
Working until she was sure she had covered the whole area, Lux left the room. It was time for her to insulate another area of the castle.

She sighed slightly as she realized that she didnt pack one but shrugged it off. Mel glanced over at Bryant to focus on him and not the cold. A slight smile came to her lips.
Melek nodded and smiled at him, "Yeah, really. I have been crushing on you all year... but I thought you didnt like me..." Mel blushed and looked down at the floor before looking back up. She noticed that he was looking around the room but didnt think much of it. Her eyes widened and her blush grew as he kissed her cheek. Melek giggled but grew embarrassed that she had giggled at the kiss. Mel was as red as a cherry. She quickly leaned over and kissed his cheek as well before straightening up. Melek looked around, blushing still before glancing down at her bag.
"They'll find a way... the have to." Not being able to get home for the summer was one of Bryant's biggest concerns. He had plans for the summer with his brother and really didn't want to miss them by getting stuck in a castle. But he had to try and stay hopeful for Mel. He didn't want that to ruin their day.
She had been crushing on him all year just as he had for her(except her weird girly stage). He could have asked her earlier and she probably would have said yes. Bryant couldn't believe it. He also didn't expect her to blush as much when he kissed her. It was kinda cute. Even more cute was when she kissed him back. "I'm glad you like me." He said, opening his bag and pulling out a small blanket. It was cold in the castle so he had packed the blanket just in case. Draping it over their laps as he moved closer to her, he continued. "So I figured we should have a little picnic instead of studying since this is kinda a date." Bryant took out a couple butterbeers and sandwiches, handing one of each to Mel. He'd save the other food for a little later; the sandwiches would work for now.

And finally she had one more last place to go. She was at first thinking of going to another corridor but then another idea popped in her head. Since she didn't feel like going to study in her dorm she decided to go to the library and study there. Since she did have to study.
She could cast the spell wherever she was going to sit and enjoy the effects of the spell herself. That sounded like a very good idea.
To the library she made her way and once she got here she felt a pang of sadness remembering that she wouldn't be seeing Mr.Kitridge. She missed the librarian quite a lot since he was one of her favorite adult people in the castle. She hoped that he would recover and be back here soon.
After grabbing a book from the bookshelves, she headed to the corner room where it was extra quiet. Settling on one of the seats, she set her stuffs on the table then turned to the wall nearest to her and drew out her wand. "Caelum Saepio," she said tracing an infinity shape in the air. Once the fog appeared she turned to her book and flipped it open pleased that she got one thing done and now she was moving on to another thing.

She nodded, "I hope..." Mel sighed and looked down, biting at her nails. "Im gonna miss you during summer though." Melek pouted a little, "You are helping me through my Annaleecia problem." She smiled at him.
"I am glad that you like me too." She blushed and smiled at him. Mel smiled and snuggled into the blanket. "This feels nice... so cold around the the castle anymore... Turkish people dont like the cold... We arent made for the cold." Melek made a face and looked at him, giggling. Mel smiled, "A picnic sounds better than studying any day." Melek glanced at the two things that he gave her. Hm... not the best food but with him, anything is good... She smiled and took a sip of the butterbeer and bit into the sandwich. After swallowing the sandwich bite, she smiled at Bryant, "This is really good and hanging with you always makes my day." Melek smiled at him and blushed.
