Pushing the door open with her elbow, because like Derry, Ves had buried her gloved hands deep into her pockets, she immediately approached the computers. The monitors were bulky, were easily triple the size of her laptop at home...and they had CPUs. Wow. Wooow.
Ves side!glanced Derry.
"Since the letters are the same mostly?, were you going to do a mass email?" Assuming the internet was going to work...She chewed on her lip a moment before taking a seat at one of the computers.
Yeah... Derry had thought
her computer had been ancient. But since she'd been up close and personal with these things a couple of times... she'd reconsidered. ... She'd never tried to use the internet on them, she'd never thought of it. But... now that she was thinking about it... she was wondering if they were about to experience something that her grandmother had referred to as
dial up speed... It was some sort of legend by the sound of it... back when it could take minutes to load just a page. But there was only one way to find out.
She walked to the newest looking computer (hoping it'd be the fastest, even if it did look about as old as her parents... or older) and switched it on. Here goes.
"Actually, I was thinking about emailing it all to Hamish and making him print and owl them..." she said as she waited for the computer to load.
"I mean... I don't even know if they have an email address... being a magic band and all..." Granted, a lot of purebloods and stuff had computers now too, but she wasn't sure if the band would have email if people sent stuff by owl anyway.
"And I thought... we could ask him to find a venue too..." You know... for
thiiiiiings. After all, he was kinda handy like that. What with his stupid amounts of money and his lack of direction.
And his penchant for party planning.
"What d'you think?" she asked. Did Ves agree with her idea? Or did she think something else might work..? Derry opened a word document and smoothed out the parchment on the desk next to her as she waited for Vesper's verdict.
