"Bien. You will find this review to be quite satisfactory, Headmistress. Quite satisfactory indeed." And as for a contract? That would also be satisfactory in her favor, she was quite sure. Lolita returned the shake with a brisk nod. "No need to move, I'll have Josephina show me to my quarters." And throwing back her hair, the new Arithmancy professor walked purposefully out of the hall.

"Great." The Headmistress turned on her heel and walked equally purposefully back to her throne seat. Breakfast time, finally.

Once she was settled in, she leaned toward Cassie and Javy and offered them both polite smiles. "Would you pass the orange juice pitcher near your plate, Cassie?" she asked. She had a bit more of an appetite now that that other woman was gone.

Seeing that muggle studies professor was busy with Annie and this other lady, Cassie decided to leave her be. They could get to know each other later. So she turned her focus back to Javy. She just giggled at the sleepy students, “I guess not.” humming a bit as she sipped her tea. “I guess I always was. My morning tea has been a habit for years.” thought Javy knew that now didn’t he. She giggled and playfully rolled her eyes as he talked about classes. “Yes I guess it did. Though your wonderful ways with the animals got us through more than me knowing their actions.” He was brilliant with creatures as she recalled. “So what brought you back here to teach?” She was curious of the signs and path that brought them back to the castle.

He saw her point, well good, she was glad he understood what she was meaning. Her smile grew though as he talked about ego. “If I remember correctly you didn’t need much stroking to yours.” Not that Javy was ever full of himself, no she just knew how great he was with animals. “I have, it’s been great exploring it again. Though I guess I really haven’t done much different. Spending most my time on the seventh floor and out near the animals.” She took a bite of her toast thinking about this. Then her green eyes danced looking towards him, “So you and Piersie, huh?” He had to know that was coming, she always had to be in the loop of things.

Definitely a rare question she had just asked him. "Well, after my divorce, I started looking for another job since I didn't have as much passion with my old one as a Potioneer. Saw Hogwarts was hiring, and just went for it.. The chance on living here again was a very nice addition.. " He sipped his tea, thoughtfully, how things did seem to work out for the better lately for him after the change. Looking back. "How about you? I imagine it took a little more than your signs alone to help you make the move." Least that's how he thought.

Javy chuckled at that about his ego, perhaps she was right. Cassie and him did spent a lot of time together when younger when he wasn't with his other friends to really know. He nodded though about the exploring. He too hadn't ventured through all the floors very often compared to the outside. The seventh floor though.. "Perhaps you should pay Airey's office a little visit.. Piers and I gave his entrance a little redecoration." He probably shouldn't be smirking since it was Airey's property.. sorta. But it was chuckle-worthy looking back on it now. Only thing was that he still needed to try persuading Piers to change it back. Speaking of which..

Javy blinked at that. Heh. Of course she had to know. Cassie probably didn't need that Aparecium's help to even consider that.. maybe. "What about me and Piersie?" Javy had a feeling she knew, but assumptions weren't his style usually. So he watched her curiously as to wondering what she was wanting to know or say.

Divorced? So he had been married. That was very interesting to Cassie, not that he couldn’t be married. They were in their thirties it was a possibility, though the blonde had never been in a relationship serious enough to think of those terms. So it was a unique thing to hear that one of her friends had been married and divorced. “Ah I see well I guess Hogwarts was a nice change then.” How interesting his story was and how curious she was to ask if his sign met up with this wife? Husband? She wasn’t sure and figured not to ask. “Oh no, it was the signs of course.” She chuckled a bit, “I was doing different things. Tutoring Divinations a bit and working at my grandmothers muggle psychic place. My brother, the older one, told me there was an opening. Once I checked to see if the signs aligned I jumped on the opportunity.” She sipped her tea a bit.

Giving him a very curious look she thought a moment, “I just might have to check that out.” Though she was positive the Astronomy professor wasn’t keen on her, but when had that ever stopped the blonde from visiting someone. “What did you and Piersie do?” She eyed him with a grin. She loved good fun, so she had to know what fun there was.

“Oh come on Javy don’t play dumb with me. You know I always find things out.” She puffed up a bit proud of herself. She was always in the know and she liked it that way. “How did you two decided.. you know, you were into each other? It’s been all over the student paper, so spill.” She just had to know what was true and what wasn’t.

Cris decided that the Staff Dias was as good a place as any to look for Professor Botros' missing Remembralls. After all the good man did need to eat right and since he did spend some time here while eating, this place was as good a place as any to displace one's said memory ball.

Cris first made sure that there no Professors present when he searched the premises. Firstly, he had no desire to be caught looking under a Professor's dress or robe. Neither did he want to be traumatized if such an event happened. No his little eyes and memory cortex would be scarred for life.

So he waited patiently for all the staff to return to their offices before quickly running over to the dias and looking under the tables. Now where did the Professor sit? That would be the first place he would look.

Adi lurked with Cris in the Great Hall as they waited for the Professors who were there to clear out. How rude it would look if they were were to conduct their search for Remembralls with Professors there.

When the Dais was finally cleared, the third year followed Cris up to the table. Cris went off in the direction of what Adi assumed to be Professor Botros's seat while he went off in the opposite direction. Remembralls bounced and rolled, right?

Adi got on his hands and knees and began searching. At least the underside of the table wasn't that dusty. And the floor was certainly not dirty like the Gobstones Viewing Area's bleachers. Plus, no gum to get stuck in his hair either.

But he didn't see any red, round object as yet. "Cris!''Adi called. "Any luck?''

Cris heard someone come up behind him and his first thought was Uh oh...please don't let it be a Professor. So he was glad when he saw it was Adi who had already begun his search at the other end of the Staff Dais.

"Nothing yet, but I don't have doubt that we'll find one or two....unless another Staff found them before we did. Wait what do we have over here?" Cris quickly crawled forward on all fours to see what had caught his eye. Dodging tables and chairs and a couple of food crumbs, he made his way over to the object.

From where he was, he thought he had seen something glittering in the sunlight. Something that reflected off the sun's rays.

Adi hadn't thought of the possibility of the Remembrall or Remembralls being found by other Professors. Oh well, if any were found, he and Cris were simply double checking.

And that sounded like Cris found something. The third year continued to scan under the chairs as he waited for the other boy to call out if he had indeed found one of the object. Suddenly, something red caught Adi's eye. It seemed to be under the center chair. The Headmistress's perhaps? He edged closer.

Could it be a Remembrall?

"And what do we have here?....Yech!!" Cris examined his hand that had somehow found its way onto something soggy. Grimacing, he lifted his hand up and gingerly smelled the mess, his hand had managed to find.

Mashed Potatoes....okay that wasn't too bad. He casually wiped his hand under the base of the table he was currently under before he proceeded to move closer to the object that had caught his eye. This time he was careful to avoid placing his hand on any of the yucky looking substances.

...and there it was a spherical glass object that looked like it had a red colored storm brewing inside it. Gauging where he was under the table, Cris figured that he had to be maybe 2 chairs to the right from where Professor Botros sat.

"I found a Remembrall here. I'm going to assume it belongs to the good Professor. What about you? Any luck over where you are?" Cris called out to Adi even as he picked up the Remembrall he had found and pocketed it.

As Adi came closer to the object, he saw it was indeed a red smoke- filled Remembrall. Well this wasn't so difficult as finding them under the bleachers in the Viewing Area. He swooped up the Remembrall, cast one last sweeping glance around before crawling out to find Cris.

"Got one, too!'' the boy stated. "That's four in total. How many of these things do you reckon Professor Botros has?'' Probably loads! Adi turned his attention back to Cris. "Any idea where else we should look? How about outside of his Office?'' The old fellow could have easily dropped a couple on his way in or out of his Office.

So there were more under the Staff Dais, as evidenced when Adi retrieved another Remembrall from under there. "Well Professor Botros is old, so he may need to use there Remembralls more, in order to help him remember things ," Cris used logical reasoning when replying to Adi's question.

Cris rubbed his chin as he pondered on Adi's question.

"I agree with you. His office lobby is definitely one place we should check out, that and where he usually takes Feo for his walks. I have seen him walking in the courtyard. Maybe even the classroom, but unfortunately that's locked and out of bounds to us right now. So where do you want to check out next? The corridor to the courtyards and the courtyard? Or outside the Professor's office?" Cris asked Adi, giving the younger boy the option to choose.

Adi nodded in agreement. Poor old guy. He could imagine how terrible it must be to know you're forgetting something but can't remember what it was.

So, the Hufflepuff hadn't known Botros took Feo for walks out in the Courtyard. He thought. Which would be better to search now? It was cold outside but that didn't make a difference since it seemed to always be bitterly cold these days. And Adi did want to go outside. "Let's go search the Corridor and the Courtyard,'' he said. But first they'd need to head back to the dorms to bundle up.

Not finding any more Remembralls, Cris had to agree that it was time to change their search site. Crawling out from under the dais, he brushed the food crumbs off his hands and clothing before turning to Adi.

"The corridor to the courtyard and the courtyard, it'll be. It's going to be cold out, so let's head back to the dorms to change into something much warmer before we head outdoors," Cris suggested as he hopped down onto the floor and joined Adi as they headed out of the Great Hall.

Kevin wanted to try something different than the usual pranks. He wanted to see if he could sing. Since he had a song in his head all day and he remembered that his mother had once told him that the only way to not have a song in your head was to sing it out loud.

The twelve year old Gryffindor coughed loudly in to his tissue as he walked through the Great Hall. He would normally not do this but he wanted his mind to be quiet and he believed his mother that the song would go away if he did this.

So without waiting, Kevin jumped on top of the empty staff table and faced the room. Wow, the place looked so cool from here. Kinda powerful as well......could he sit on the Headmistress seat? Another time.. He cleared his throat and began to sing.

"Hakuna Matata! What a wonderful phraaaaaaase Hakuna Matata! Ain't no passing faaaace....no craze..yeah craze..i think" His voice didn't sound so clear like he heard it in his head since he had a cold. And the fact that he couldn't sing to safe his life...

"It means no worries for the rest of your daaaaaaaays" - COUGH COUGH - the boy had coughed loudly again. But he was determined to get through the stupid song.

"It's our problem-free philosophy Hakuna MatataaaaaaAAAAAAAACHOOO!" Kevin sniffed his nose after the sneeze and he bowed while standing on top of the staff table.

He was quiet now as he jumped off of it and looked like he was deep in thought.........until he groaned loudly and kicked the table. .......THE SONG WAS STILL IN HIS HEAD!

Because he was sad now, the Gryffindor moved around the table and sat in the Headmistress seat. muwahaha

Cassie was entering the hall and headed towards the dais when she heard singing, loud singing. Where was it coming from? Smiling as she recognized the song she hoped to catch the person giving their wonderful performance! She'd sooo have to tell Nessa they had a performer in one of the houses when she spotted the child on the table. Goodness he was on the staff table.

Though it only made her smile more, of course he was the rest of the students could see him better. Having a little more bounce in her step as she walked to his music she couldn't help but sing along. "It's a problem free philosophy Hakuna Matata!!" Giggling a bit she went around to her seat.

Stopping to his sneeze, was he sick? As he sat down at the table she walked over towards him. "I'm sorry, but are you feeling alright?" Without even asking put a hand on his forehead to check if he was warm."[/b]

Seated in the Headmistress chair Kevin looked around the Great Hall. This point of view was fantastic! He could see everything that was going on, including seeing one of the Professor's walking towards the staff dias. A normal person would have been nervous but Kevin was more curious about what she was going to say and do.

And when she sang the song as well , the boy groaned instead of smiled. "Oh no" he mumbled "You aren't ANOTHER Professor who likes to "sing" are you?"The Astronomy Professor had been bad enough...

He coughed in his hand and shivered as he felt cold all of the sudden. And then his temperature was back to normal...at least he thought it was. Moving to get up from the Headmistress seat, he was hold back by a hand suddenly touching his forehead.

His missmatched colored eyes narrowed at the woman. It didn't matter who it was. No. one. touched. him. "Take your hands...off" he had said it calmly but narrowed his eyes even more. "I'm perfectly fine" and as if on cue, he sneezed loudly.

Cassie tilted her head, “I like to sing, but who doesn’t really? If someone says they don’t like to sing they really do just afraid to do it in front of others.” Obviously not this child’s since he was just singing loudly to the entire Great Hall. Which she did enjoy by the way. “I liked your singing though.” Compliments were always nice.

The blonde’s green eyes widened as the boy snapped at her. She frowned and pulled her hand away. Clearly he was sick, children weren’t that aggressive at this school unless something was wrong. “Oh no I think you are sick. Have you tried soup and rest?” If so then she would have to get him to the hospital wing. He needed to see the healer.

“Here try this.” She reached to the table pulling over a bowl with some warm chicken soup. The elves had been asked to make some with the freezing temperatures outside. Sitting down in the seat near him she kept her eyes on his face. “Have you been to the healer yet? I really must insist that you go.” What house was he in? Gryffindor it seemed, maybe she’d have to chat with Professor Bentley if he was really sick and not getting help. She didn’t want others getting sick as well.

So it was mainly the signs that led her over here. Javy did take a mental note on about the work she had been doing after graduating. It was curious that she hadn't mentioned on any other romance as he did. Hm.

"We changed the colour of his walls, pink and adding some paintings too. We also used glitter bombs to coat his entire floor and-" A brief flash on what else had followed after that, clearing his throat. "Well, it's been like that ever since." Pink wasn't a colour Javy favoured unless it was on someone else.

Javy wasn't surprised at all with her response. You can't hide too many things from a Seer, after all. Ignoring the mention of the paper. The question could only bring him memories between the two of them ever since as a small smile appeared after he sipped some more tea, "It's hard to say really other than it wasn't planned.. everything that happened between us just.. happened before we even knew it would." Though poorly worded, Javy was sure she would understand that, given how familiar that reasoning might have been long ago.

Oh no, she was going to talk to him? Well, obviously since he had just asked a question. Smart move Kevin. "Well, i didn't sing because i wanted to ..i did it because there was a stupid song stuck in my head and my mother says that i should sing it out loud in order to get rid of it" what a GREAT advice! Especially since it HADN'T WORKED. The song was still in his head. Thanks a lot mom. Wait, she liked his singing? Kevin looked at her suspiciously. "If you like my singing you REALLY need to get your hearing checked" he said because his voice was not a singers voice and definitely not now with this cold.

"For the last time , i'm not si--soup?" he gazed towards the bowl that stood in front of him now and his stomach growled a bit. Without saying another word, Kevin began to eat, in silence for a change. That the Professor kept staring at his face made him uncomfortable though. "Why does everyone keep insisting i should go to the Healer? I'm not wounded am i? just a little cou" He had to stop because of another nasty sounding coughing fit.

Kevin was definitely the stubborn type of person. He looked at the soup and didn't feel like eating anymore. So he pushed it aside and leaned back in the Headmistress seat. He was surprised he hadn't been kicked out of it yet. Did that mean he was suitable as a ruler?! The chair did look great with him on it.

Cassie chuckled a bit, "Oh I've never heard of that. I would think it would make it stuck in your head more. Plus it's such a fun song to have stuck in your head. Why would you want it out?" She didn't understand this and turned to start making her tea. "Oh I wouldn't agree with that. I think you have a lovely voice. Everyone does in their own special ways." No one should be told they couldn't sing. Everyone could no matter how it sounded.

Glad he took the soup she watched him eat as she sipped her tea. The chicken part of the soup wasn't her thing, but if it helped him she would be glad. "Oh dear, you are sick. That cough sounds horrible. Have you been going outside?" No one should be going outside, it was way too cold.

Her chuckles came back with his confusion, "You do not have to see a healer just because you are injured. A cold is a good reason to go. Don't you want to stop coughing? She'll have a potion that can fix you right up." So why wouldn't you want to go quickly to the healer, it made no sense to the professor.

The air outside has certainly made its frosty presence known, seeping through minute cracks in the castle that were previously undiscovered by wind, rain, or creature. The enchanted ceiling has lately reflected this turn of events via constantly dim, gray cloud cover. But there seems to be a difference this evening as the dinner rush begins and a strange, cold dust accumulates on tables, benches, floor, and even heads. Could those be..? Surely not... Are those really SNOWFLAKES?!

It is officially snowing inside Hogwarts.

Alexa trudged through the snow that had fallen along the ground in the Great Hall as she and the others made their way to the Staff Dais. You think they'd vanish this stuff as quick as it fell to avoid injury but apparently not? It was just as well, she didn't suppose you could pay anyone enough money to stand watch and constantly vanish the stuff. The house elves were busy with other things too so clearly they weren't the best alternative either.

She'd been right to think it was still lunch time, what with most of the school in here eating and the smells tugging her stomach toward the Gryffindor table. Had to be strong. They needed to drop this off before food could happen or they'd likely lose the Professor and NEED to do the climbing.

Lex stopped just a bit off and began scanning the staff table. If the Professor was here, he shouldn't be too hard to spot. "Any sign of him?" She asked, clutching the strap of her candy bag that held the blanket folded inside.

AJ thought long and hard about making a pit stop at the lion table to grab whatever it was that was making her stomach growl. Did she REALLY need to follow the group? The answer to that was of course yes. Maybe Airey would give her a cookie as a way of saying thanks. If she missed out on that she would be bummed out.

Sucking it up, she followed Alexa up to where the professors ate. "I don't see him anywhere." He wasn't exactly easy to miss either. She jumped up and down a few times to see if she could see over some of the others. Nothing. "Want me to scream? Cause she could do that.

This Gryffindor actually DID make a stop at the lion table. He had finally caught up to the two girls in front of him, but the food just looked to good to resist. Besides, blanket hunting really got an empty stomach going, y'know? So he just grabbed a biscuit on the way over. No big deal really. He had followed after all.

And he was right in time to hear AJ asking about screaming? So... Really he didn't fall that behind. A happy stomach is a happy boy after all.

But uh yeah... Where was Flailsteed exactly? Maybe he had taken a stop at the Gryffindor table for a biscuit too. They were really yummy. And that's why instead of saying anything, he just stood by the girls and happily munched. He also had a few in his pocket too (incase this took long), but shhhh no one had to know.
