If you know the password, you can make your way through a portal in the stone wall of the dungeon and walk into the Slytherin common room:
The ceiling is low and the walls are made of stone, and even though they seem dank and cold, the room tends to stay a very comfortable temperature. There are greenish lamps by black leather couches and chairs, with skulls all around. Scattered around the room are very comfy green bean bag chairs. Once you get in them you just might think you've been attacked by Devil's Snare as you find that the bean bags are almost impossible to get out of. With the common room being located under the lake, you can occasionally see mermaids, grindylows and the giant squid swim by when you look out the windows. A rug covers the floor in front of the fireplace that has a hunter green fire burning in it. The Slytherin emblem is everywhere, as house pride is one of Slytherin's strong qualities. It reminds students of what being a Slytherin means and allows them to share those feelings with others.
This is where Slytherin students are allowed to unwind, study and chat with one another. There is a room straight ahead that students may use as a quiet place to study and ask prefects and high scoring students questions. To the left, a corridor that leads to the Boys Dorms, and to the right a corridor that leads to the Girls Dorms. Beside each corridor is self inking quill and parchment with the words Attendo Thea Vipera on it.
On the side of the fireplace is a Notice Board for class and homework announcements, as well as general announcements. The Roster is also there for Students to make sure their name is there and spelled correctly.
A podium stands to the side with a copy of Hogwarts a History, which is where you will learn that even though the whole dungeon had once been flooded, nothing was waterlogged or permanently damaged.

That was a very good nap she'd had. Refreshing! Although it was brief but effective still. Shuffling around, Cassia emerged from the girls' dorms with her hair neatly combed back. What to do now? Hmm.. Her eyes scanned the common room noting all the present faces.
Walking towards HER armchair, she swung her arms back and forth, her joints got kinda stiff after the nap. Though, she made sure not to whack anyone unintentionally in the process. A visit to the healer aka their head of house early in the year was not necessary.
Flopping on her armchair, she swung her legs over the armrests. What were the snakes up to? Hmm.. Ooh, Theo was here, too, Cassia nodded all cool-like at him. You know, the way head girls nod to head boys.
Next she noticed Cutty and Beverly. What was her lil minion up to? Oh, and someone started playing music. And he [Ethan] was good, too. The seventh-year nodded at him approvingly and clapped lightly twice for him.
Don't mind her she was keeping an eye on things and chilling here. Maybe she could impose on someone better than doing nothing.

Someone else had noticed. "Yes." He said through gritted teeth. Like a proper snake and stuff. "It was the flipping beanbag." Just in case the girl believed that annoying kid over there. Theo didn't even fart very often anyway, even in the dormitory. It was far too embarrassing.
The Slytherin sighed dramatically and leaned back into his beanbag. It made another noise but wasn't quite as loud as the first. He looked straight at the girl.
"That was, too."
Vinnie couldnt help but laugh at the way the boy answered her. Was he really that bothered what the people thought? Even if he had farted, so what. „Good, you just look a little uncomfy.“ There werent that many people anyway and everyone would have forgotten this within the next hour. No need to freak out, strange boy.
And then it happened again, the boy had moved and the bean bag gave another concert. At this, the fifth year almost fell out of her bean bag laughing. The poor boy. Cause Vinnie was good at heart or just highly amused she moved around in her bean bag and made lots of noice.“ Yeah and this too“, she grinned,“ feeling better?“

Sitting in her bean bag, or more like drowning in it Vinnie looked around the room. It wasnt as crowded as the girl had expected but she didnt mind. This way she could just relax and watch people. Watching people had become her new fave thing to do, you could find out a lot about your fellow house mates like that.
And then her eyes landed on a blonde girl, swinging her arms back and forth...what on earth was she doing? Vinnie took a closer look and noticed it was the girl that had talked to her at the feast. What was her name again? Cassy? „ You got pins and needles?“, she asked across the room and grinned.
Adelaide was so happy to be back. This had possibly been her worst summer ever and missing part of her seventh year was not cool. Not to mention finding out about quidditch through the prophet. That was not fun. At least she hadn't missed out on that.
But her friends and that damp common room. She'd definitely missed those. She shifted her bag over her shoulder, already having been assured her trunk would be brought to her dorm for her. She looked around the common room. Yep. Just as she remembered but with some new faces.
Now where were her friends. She needed hugs and to distribute her brownies.
Agatha just finished organising all of her stuff around her bed and she was trying to avoid that crazy pet raven her uncle had given her. The bird had been trying to stay on top of her head the entier time as she put her things away, and it would not listen to Agatha saying it shouldn't do that.
Honestly, what was her uncle thinking? A pet RAVEN. That was mad.
After she finished pilling up her ballet magazines, the third year glanced at the bird from the corner of her eyes and dashed off, hoping the raven wouldn't be able to see her. Too bad it did and it followed her all the way to the Common Room. It perched on her head when she stopped to give Weirdo an odd look. What was that thing he was playing anyway? What a strange looking instrument.
"Chess, not here!" She whispered, waving a hand above her head. Unfortunately, that didn't make the raven go away, and only messed up her hair even more.

Did the girl just raised an eyebrow on him. Why? What did he do? He was just...playing his lute for Fawke's sake. He was doing fairly well, and did not actually deserve the look she gave him.
But oh well. Not his problem at all. He was just a peasant who is in love with the lute...and trying to help ease the awkwardness that Cutty might be feeling.
Or maybe not?
Ethan had to lightly strum the strings to hear what Cutty had to say, and this made the other Mordaunt nod solemnly as if in agreement. Honest and raw right there. While both the Mordaunt boys waited for the girl's response, Ethan continued to play the instrument with closed eyes. Maybe this time he should sing, no? Just to make things more interesting. "...♫...O saw you not my laaaddyy...out in the garden there??? SHAAAMING THE ROOOSE AND LIIILLYY, for sheee isss twiiice assss faaaiiiirrrr...♫..."

No, Cutty Mordaunt. No.
He thought she was pretty since the opening feast? He TRUSTED her? Exterior?! WHAT?
Wrapping her dark robes around her tight, Beverly attempted to keep a mellow and cool expression. No need to freak out. This was CUTTY. A Slytherin. He was probably trying to get into her head...or something. Could be a tactic to steal her box of jewels. RIGHT? Why was SHE nervous?! She was the one getting slammed on with...THIS.
"Oh, can it, Mordaunt." Now she was scowling, though she didn't mean it. It was mostly to cover up.
AND WHY WAS THERE SINGING.
Bev directed her scowl at the other boy. This whole making friends thing was proving to be a harder task than she'd anticipated. She wanted to thump him and that stupid instrument of his to shut him up. Didn't he see there was someone professing their undying admiration for her?!
"Tell him to stop," she grumbled at Cutty. Now. Please. Before she did.
Whoa.
Ethan could sing too.
Merlin on high, they should really consider opening in a serenading service of some type. Especially with all of the couples that were around the school...and Christmas and birthdays and Valentine's day just around the corner. They could make bags of dosh. He had to talk to Ethan...alone. About this.
Cutty put a hand up and over the strings of the lute, indicating that Ethan should probably cease or face the wrath of Beverly.
"Okay." Was all he said, but an amused smile on the precipice of smirk was there as he found her angry-sort reaction. D'awww, Beverly Wayne. "Not this time, then. My offer stands firm. Think about it." He stood and headed for the exits of the common room, thinking it a good time to depart from Wayne. One day he would get his hand into the jewelry jar.
One day.

Cutty had given his prefect a head nod in greeting and after having gotten up from his seat near Beverly Wayne. In passing Cassia, who was looking very regal in her armchair, he held out his hand for a discreet and low five.

So she always stood like that, perfectly postured, even when there was a raven on her head...messing up her hair quite horridly. Cutty gave the girl a headnod!acknowledgement as he passed out of the room.

“…♫♪ Though I am nothing to her…though she must rarely look at me…”Strum. Strum. “…and though I could never woo heeerrr—“ What. WHY WAS CUTTY’S HAND ON HIS LUTE’S STRINGS?! He was singing for Fawkes sake, and he was getting applauses from someone, and how dare he inter—Ooooh…The Slytherin cringed a bit as he scooted away from his spot. Eh. He didn’t hear what Cutty said to the girl, but his companion did look upset.
Something went wrong. Fosho.
The Slytherin shifted his attention to the newcomers instead. There was an older girl—a badged girl, a red head who looked really, really cool, and Agatha…who didn’t look so attractive with that bird on her head. Hahaha. Funny sight.
Anyway.
“Greetings, m’lady!” The Slytherin tipped his feathered hat as he approached the Head Girl. “I hope you don’t mind if I sit here, and regale you with my music.” he said as he plopped down on the floor near the girl’s armchair, and positioned his lute to continue playing the instrument and to sing. He was well away from Cutty and his friend, so it was okay to play again, yes? Yes.
Ethan cleared his throat, and was about to continue the song when he saw Cutty get up from his spot, gave everyone a nod of acknowledgement and walked towards the exit. Oooh snap. Things didn’t really go well with his female companion, eh? The Slytherin felt bad for him—although he wasn’t quite sure as to why. Cutty seemed…disappointed. Sad, maybe?
The Slytherin sighed and instead sang a different medieval song. “Alas, my love ye do me wrong…♫♪…to cast me off discourteously…” Strum. Strum. “…for I hAvve loved you well and looong…dElighting—“ What…was that squeak? “…dEeelight…” Pause.
Blink.
Voice break. Ethan cleared his throat again and excused himself from the crowd. Yeah, he should tell his dad now about this. Merlin. That was embarrassing!

"I hope it didn't look that weird," she chuckled already knowing the answer to that.
Oooh, and there was Adelaide! Cassia waved at her. They were to reunite properly in the dorm later on.

Was that.... A bird? It definitely was. Cassia was somehow surprised to see someone with their pet bird in the common room. She certainly wouldn't ever bring her owl in here. But then again, he owl was a vicious and evil thing. Good to know that not all bird pets were the same. And this one wasn't an owl. A Raven perhaps?
"Nice bird," She told Agatha.

This is why she liked hanging out at the common room. Lots of things to do and the snakes never failed to amuse her and grant her a great time with their company. Now this boy was a polite one, she liked that. "I certainly don't," she answered him liking the idea of more music. "You play wonderfully," she complemented him meaning it. She tried to remember if she'd heard the boy's name from somewhere but she couldn't and she hated to interrupt his singing to ask a question. But then again it wasn't hard to find out about it. He seemed friends with Cutty so she could as him. And speaking of the other boy, she noticed him exit the common room. And singer boy followed him. Before he left, Cassia offered a smile that said, that was cool.. Slytherins were a talented bunch, were they not?

What...just happened? Beverly blinked at the spot that been occupied by Cutty Mordaunt just moments ago. She was...confused..? Or maybe not. Or maybe...WHAT? BAH! Hugging her jewelry box to her chest, the Slytherin stood up, the scowl on her face masking perplexion.
Weird night was WEIRD.
She was so out of it, Beverly forgot to acknowledge the lute boy (Ethan) and walked right past. She did though, catch Cassia (familiar face and all) and shot her shy wave before reaching the entrance of the dorms and hurrying in. She needed a loooong nap.

"Well I assume they were, being prefects and all - plus, they had to be popular if they had such awesome kids right?" Caleb said with a grin. Logic for the win! He still assumed there were monuments in the Gryffindor common room to them, he'd have to ask a lion later and figure out if he was right or not.
"Pie? Did I eat pie...?" Caleb wondered aloud. Sophie seemed like her brain was off on another planet right now. And he didn't blame her - there was a ruckus going on in the corner. "What in Merlin's trousers?!" he exclaimed. He looked at Sophie in confusion. "What is going ON over there?"

Willow stepped into the common room and glanced around. She was relieved to see it was relatively peaceful and calm. After that horribly unspeakable incident that happened in the Great Hall, Willow was relieved to be with her fellow Slytherins. They, at least, would understand her drive for a better world.
Just the thought of how ignorant people could be stressed her out, so Willow decided to meditate in her own personal way. Making her way over to a couch, the redhead fell back and toed off her shoes. She always felt better barefoot.
Pulling out several flowers, twine, and twigs from her bag, Willow began to work on her project. This wasn't her first time making a flower crown, but it was her first time making a flower crown with pink carnations, and she was tentatively confident it would turn out nicely.

Sophie thought about Caleb's first statement. "Oh, well...I guess you're right. I mean two Gryffindors just don't randomly have two awesome Slytherins unless there's some awesomeness in them, too," she said. With that, she was pretty much satisfied with Caleb's belief that their parents were made of win.
There was something said about pie then, but Sophie overlooked it on account of whatever else was going on in the common room. "No idea," she said, "but it's just Slytherin boys being Slytherin boys. No offense, but you lot are hard to deal with." Fact. "Except you, because...we must be the only siblings on Earth that actually get along."
"EXCUSE ME!" she yelled. "Bathroom's down the hall, toilet paper's on the wall. If you can't reach it, get a ladder. If you're too tall, kneel down. But for the love of all Merlin, stop stinking up the common room!" Whoever it was. Silly boys. RIDICULOUS.

Actually, he had plenty of words. Plenty of shouty words. He stood up with extreme confidence, (it helped that he towered over the younger boy) and he pointed his finger right into his face. "Listen, you little prat... I dunno who you think you are... in fact I have no idea who you are... who ARE you?" Had Hogwarts employed a house idiot to get on the nerves of the other students? If they had then they had done a pretty good casting job.
"But I am the HEAD BOY... and..." Okay, where was this going? "... and you can't talk to ME like that and.... if you don't shut that massive trap of yours... you'll be evicted from the common room."
YEAH - BECAUSE THEO HAD THAT POWER APPARENTLY.

Then things got really out of control, which was EXCELLENT, because...well, Sophie loved when things got out of control! Especially when she wasn't involved. "AWWW, YES!" she called out, fist pumping in the air as she stood up. "There is ANOTHER fight in the common room, and this time, I'M not involved." She took a dramatic bow then added, "Thank you. Thank you very much, ladies and gentlemen."
Heh.
...and with that--"My money's on the Head Boy!" she exclaimed. Because, well, he had a badge and stuff and Gareth had nothing. Whoever said power didn't speak volumes had clearly never gone to Hogwarts. "You can evict people from the common room?" she asked. In that case... "Can he take HER with him?" She pointed boldly in BEVERLY WAYNE'S direction.
With a quick glance around, Sophie realized that in the commotion, Beverly HAD already left. Hmm. Well, how convenient. "I think I'm heading out," she said to Caleb. "I'll see you around." With that, she stepped out the common room and headed who knew where.

Arts TRANSPONSTER!
Agatha was FREEZING when she entered the Common Room after that scary encounter with the centaurs. Okay, it had gotten considerably warmed since they stepped into the Castle, but it was SO cold outside it was taking a while for her to not feel cold anymore.
For this reason, she went straight to the settee right in front of the fireplace. She looked to see if Simon was still behind her and took off her gloves, holding her hands up towards the fire to warm them up. That was an ODD situation they had just been in and Agatha was still frowning, quite disturbed.

It had been a rather quiet journey back to the castle, involving Agatha slightly yanking his arm to bring him into the castle. Simon was lost in his thoughts. He kept on replaying what the centaurs had said over and over again in his mind.
Once inside their Common Room, Simon removed his snow-covered hat, scarf, and gloves. He placed them on the nearest table and walked over to the fire where Agatha was standing. He too held his hands towards the fire. He didn't realize how frigid the weather was when he was outside being absorbed by the centaurs' interaction as well as the unexpected handholding with a very pretty girl. Casting a secretive glance to her, he bit his lip a little when he saw that she was frowning. "Are you alright?" he asked rather quietly.

Not really. She wasn't that alright. "Yes." The girl answered him shortly, rubbing her hands together. "Centaurs are very weird creatures." And there was something not right, otherwise they wouldn't be out there speaking to them. "They want to leave the forest, do you know how bad that is??" SO bad. "I wonder if my uncle knows about this." Agatha kept frowning as she thought whether her uncle had been told of the whole commotion. She hadn't heard from him in a while.
"Do you suppose we will have to leave the Castle too?" The third year gave Simon with a questioning look.

"Do you suppose we will have to leave the Castle too?" The third year gave Simon with a questioning look.
Simon tilted his head curiously to the left as he received a very short answer from the girl. Huh. From her response, he felt as if she was not actually as alright as she had told him. However, he wouldn't press on about it. If she said she was alright, then he was alright. But... he thought, opening his mouth as if he were about to speak. All of a sudden, he closed it. Not worth it. Time would tell whether or not she was alright. And boy was he right. Agatha went on about the centaurs being rather weird creatures. He nodded. "The centaurs wanting to leave the forest is unnerving. Also the comment about Mars being bright is worrisome too. I don't know why, but if someone's playing up with the stars then it can't be good." He had remembered reading about centaurs in their Care of Magical Creatures book. Centaurs were very knowledgeable when it came to stars and other celestial bodies. He was distracted from his thoughts by Agatha mentioning her uncle. Why would her uncle be concerned....? Simon paused and connected the dots. Agatha was close with the Professors, yes? She wondered whether or not her uncle had heard about the centaurs leaving the Forbidden Forest? His blue eyes widened with slight realization. This was all just a hypothesis but it was well worth a try. "Your Uncle? Does he work here?" he asked. Knowing the answer to that would explain quite a bit to Simon.
Do you suppose we will have to leave the castle too?
Agatha's question played over and over in Simon's head. To be honest, he didn't know. Had the students of Hogwarts ever had to leave the school when danger lurked near? Well not in Harry Potter's years. He met her gaze. "I honestly don't know. What do you think?" he paused for a brief moment and then continued. "I hope that they wouldn't because some people may not have another home to go too," he explained frowning. He tried to lighten up the conversation a bit. "It'll be fine. I'm sure the Professors will figure something out. Besides, they have taught us quite a bit about dealing with the danger that lurks in the cold." Whatever lurked within the shadows of the Forest that caused the centaurs to move wasn't good news. However, Simon was sure that the Professors would find a way to stop it. He gazed into the crackling flames that were filled with life. He lowered his voice to a whisper. "Just in case, I think it would be wise to do more research on some of the information that we've learnt. It would be good to be ready for whatever may be out there."

Agatha was too busy trying to warm up and thinking over and over about those creepy centaurs to even notice Simon was observing her. She looked at him with a confused expression. "What does Mars have to do with this?" Truth be told, she knew nothing of Astronomy. "And what do you mean 'someone's playing up with that stars'?" She wondered is he were talking sense. Maybe he was, because it kind of sounded like what the centaurs were saying.
Simon didn't know who her uncle was?? She blinked at him. "My uncle is the groundskeeper." But then again, they had basically just 'officially' met, so she supposed she couldn't fully blame him for not knowing that. Sort of.
The girl kept looking at Simon as he... didn't answer her question. Had he even heard her? Hello-o? She was about to repeat what she had asked when he spoke again. But he was only asking her what she had just asked him! What are you doing, Simon? "I don't know, that's why I asked you." She blinked at him again. Odd boy. Oh, now he was kind of asnwering the question himself. '...some people may not have another home to go to.'"Do you?" Agatha asked bluntly once again. Being Simon a Muggleborn, maybe he was one of those kids who had to stay in the Castle for the holidays and stuff. Merlin, that sounded terrible.
Then he was on to being optimistic. However, as soon as he said 'lurks in the cold', Agatha's eyes widened. "Do you think it's anything to do with the Cold Ones???" Did professor Romanos teach them about those things because she knew what was going to happen??? "Merlin! Do you think professor Romanos knows about it?? Or worse, do you think she's behind it all??" Agatha's brain started coming up with some conspiracy theories almost immediately and she kept fidgeting in her seat. "Do you think we can trust the professors?" She added in a whisper, looking around to check if anyone was listening. "My uncle must know about this!" Because Agatha had just convinced herself that most professors were involved in this. Not all of them. Airey and Sophia weren't, she was sure. And professor Domingo wasn't either. But they might be the only ones!! MERLIN, she needed to tell them TOO!!
"Like Cold Ones??" Was that what he thought was out there? "Do they have anything to do with starts? And really cold temperatures?" Her mind had completely blanked out and she couldn't remember a thing they had studied in DADA.

Simon shrugged. "I don't really know, but Gurion mentioned it. Judging by how he phrased it, it sounded like a bad thing that Mars wasn't shining too brightly that month," he explained. If the centaur had thought that it was bad then it HAD to have been bad. He shrugged again. "Could be someone or something. But I think it must be some type of creature who has changed something in the ecosystem of the forest or has cast some sort of enchantment. I'm aware that it doesn't make a lot of sense, but its the only way I can justify what's happening." He didn't even know if that made sense. He hoped Agatha was following. She was a smart girl. He was sure she would be.
HER UNCLE WAS THE GROUNDSKEEPER? Big, scary, buff guy? GULP. He took a deep breath and made a mental note not to cross Agatha (which he didn't think would be too easy to do after seeing how well the two got a long at the moment). "Ohh.. Okay, that makes sense. I had assumed that your Uncle had worked here but I didn't really know much else," he said rather lamely.
Simon nodded slowly. He did have a home but it was on the other side of the globe. Would he even be able to get there if the harsh winter persisted? Who knew? "I do have a home, but its all the way over in Australia. If they did let us leave then hopefully the flying conditions wouldn't be too bad," he explained. Yeah, cause then he wouldn’t have a home. Hopefully he could stay with either Cutty or Ethan. That’d be nice.
As soon as Agatha mentioned the ‘Cold Ones’, Simon grimaced a little. “I do think so. It’s only a guess but I think that it could be possibly true,” he explained. He didn’t know for sure. However, after hearing people constantly complain about how unusually cold it was (unusually being the key word there) as well as all their lessons being about dealing with things that were outside (or having lessons outside in the cold), he was almost certain that it could be a possibility. He paused when she went on to suggest that perhaps Professor Romanos knew something about it all. “I don’t know if she would, but it wouldn’t hurt to ask her, would it? We should go see her in her office.” If not now, later would work. Sooner than later. But then Agatha brought up a very key point to consider. Could they trust the Professors? he repeated in his head. Simon hoped they could. He trusted Fuller and Botros (even if Bart had told him not too). He checked the common room to see if anyone else was there too and then lowered his voice to a whisper. “I don’t think she could be behind it at all. She’s too nice, but then again, you can’t always overlook the nice ones. We should still go see her to see how she would react to it all.” Because if she reacted suspiciously then they would know what’s up. “Who do you trust?”
Simon went into Sherlock Holmes mode. He began pacing around the room at the mention of the Cold Ones as he wracked his brains trying to remember their first D.A.D.A lesson. “Well the Cold Ones origin is Antarctica, right? So how could they be up here?” he offered, “Also, apparently back in the seventeenth century or something, an experiment to recreate the resurrection stone went horribly wrong. The residue from this ended up leaking into the ice. The wizards and witches who did not reside were laid to rest in that ice and made them into the Cold Ones…” He paused and his blue eyes widened. WAIT. “What if that ice was somehow transported into the forest? Or what if the Cold Ones origin wasn’t Antarctica. What if it was from the North Pole instead?” His mind continued to be flooded with possibilities.
Simon shrugged. "I don't really know, but Gurion mentioned it. Judging by how he phrased it, it sounded like a bad thing that Mars wasn't shining too brightly that month," he explained. Hm.... Agatha knew nothing of Astronomy. "Maybe we could go ask professor Airey if he knows details." She offered as a brilliant idea. She didn't know what they could do with the info they'd get from the man, but well, she wanted to say something on the matter so she did. Some kind of creature who changed something in the ecosystem??? Merlin, that sounded bad! Even though Agatha wasn't quite sure what that meant. "That's terrible!" Whatever it was.
Simon's facial expression when she told him her uncle Orsy was the groundskeeper was priceless and made Agatha's ego inflate even more. "Yeah, he does. And he's awesome." She nodded, proudly. "He's brilliant and can protect the Castle really well." That was one of the reasons she felt so safe in the school. "I bet he can fix this problem soon, like he did with last year's old-age jinx." She added for a bit of dramaticity. Did Simon know about that?
He did have a home, but it was in Australia? "If the flying conditions are bad, you can always use a portkey." Agatha told him, watching him closely. Was that how Muggleborns thought? They forgot they could use magic once in a while? ......Interesting.
Agatha's eyes widened as he said he thought the Forest issues could all be related to the Cold Ones. "Merlin!" She exclaimed, squeezing her own hands on her lap. That was scary!! Go see professor Romanos in her office?????? "I'm not sure... what if she is behind all this??" Her fellow snake explained why he didn't think the older witch was involved in any of that and Agatha pondered a bit about it. She liked his idea of seeing how she reacted to things. "That's a good idea, maybe we should go question her." The thirteen year-old nodded, trying to sound confident. And... who did she trust? "My uncle."
The girl's gaze followed Simon as he paced back and forth and explained about the Cold Ones. Her eyes widened once again when he mentioned the resurrection stone. Someone tried to recreate that??? Wow... that was impressive. She listened to what he was saying and nodded slowly. Simon sounded like he knew what he was talking about. "The North Pole is a lot closer to where we are now." MERLIN, it all fit! Not exactly."Merlin! Do you think that centaur told professor Truebridge anything else? It sounded like he wouldn't say much and just wanted to leave the Forest!" Agatha's eyes went from wide to narrow. "I knew we should't trust those creatures... they just think about themselves! They'll all leave the grounds and leave us here to die!! Do you think they'll let our parents know? Or should we owl them?" Merlin, they were all DOOMED.
Yeeep, this girl was losing it.

Seeing Airey would be a good idea- he'd know what to do. Mhmm.. Simon hoped so. After listening to Agatha, he nodded. "Perhaps we could. Who knows what he could have to say?" he said and finally he could ask Airey about the time he and Agatha went to Disneyland. They'd have to make another trip all together.
Then Agatha went on about her awesome Uncle. Big, buff, tall, intimidating guy... Simon wouldn't like to get on the wrong side of him. Merlin, whoever ended up dating Agatha would constantly being watched by the Groundskeeper. 'Don't mess with my little niece or I'm going to destroy you'. Ehehe. Yeah, real charmer there. He blinked. "I have heard about the age thing. I know who it was caused by, but how did your Uncle fix it?" he asked curiously. He wanted to know more. He always wanted to know more.
Right! He could use a portkey. But those things spun really fast and were unpredictable. Simon wasn't sure if he'd survive using one of those things. Judging by how he was at muggle amusement parks on those tea cup rides, he assumed that he'd feel rather green after the whole portkey travel. "Eh.. I think I'll pass. Spinning and I are two things that are not meant to go together."
What if Romanos was behind this? Simon had thought about that question a lot himself over the past couple of days. If she was behind it all, then why would she tell them so much information about them. "We should go pay her a visit. Are you free after Defense Against the Dark Arts class next Tuesday? Because if you are, we should go then." Organization was key at a busy school like Hogwarts. Before he could say anything else, something popped into his head to make him believe that perhaps Romanos wasn't behind it all. " However, would someone who's behind it tell us all how to defend ourselves against the Cold Ones?" he said, posing a question. Sure, Romanos was a bit weird with her accent and all, but would she put students in danger? Simon didn't know. Hogwarts was a bizarre school indeed but he loved it.
Simon nodded. "I think he told her more, but only if we knew what he told her. If only there was some way of us finding that out..." he began speaking and then paused to glance over at Agatha. Uh oh. She didn't look too good right now. He frowned, wondering what could be wrong with his friend. What? Not trust the centaurs? "Remember they did advise us to seek shelter," he pointed out and chuckled. Er.. Agatha was getting wound up by all this talk. He placed his hand lightly on her shoulder. 'Twas an effort to calm her down. "Woah. Woah. Woah. We don't know anything for sure, but right now, I think it would be best for us to remain calm and wait to find out more information. I'd suggest that it'd be a good idea to see your Uncle to see what he knows." He paused. He didn't know what else to say really.
For once, the boy was at a loss of words.
Agatha thought for a bit when Simon asked her how her uncle had fixed the aging problem. "I don't really know how he did it, but I told him that he had to fix it before I came to Hogwarts this year so he did!" Because her uncle was amazing like that! Hair flip.
Simon didn't do well with portkeys then? "Do they have a fireplace? You can always use Floo Powder if you need." There were plenty of magical ways to get around! Maybe being a Muggleborn made him forget that. Or he just didn't know?? ...Nah, that would be weird. Of course he knew.
"We'll have to talk to Air-- professor Flamsteed and professor Romanos." Agatha gave him a firm nod. "I trust him, but not her." She added just because. "If she is behind it, we will notice it by the way she reacts to our questions!" The girl said seriously, not considering teachers could be good liers too. "Yes, I'm free after class."
Her fellow Slytherin reminded her how the centaur told them to seek shelter. "That doesn't mean he is concerned with us! It might be him trying to trap us all here so we will all get killed!!" EVIL centaur!!! Agatha wanted to jinx him!! But she'd be too afraid to do so if he ever saw him again.
Agatha felt Simon's hand on her shoulder and looked at him, her cheeks turning slightly pink as she blinked at him. Huh, wha- visit her uncle? "Um. Yes. We should." ..........Awkwaaaaaard.
