Second Floor Corridor
|
Lawrawrrrrr Whoosh. Jun zoomed through the corridor on his new skateboard with his ferret, Charmander, tightly gripping his shoulder. Poor animal had to suffer, not really, with an owner like Jun. Candy bag in his right hand, he held a tight grip on it an skated around people. People should really stick closer to the walls when they heard him coming. How could you not see a tall boy with light brown hair coming down the corridor? Or hear him? Jun was singing while riding; but when was he ever not singing while doing anything? NEVER. "I'm walking on sunshine! Whoooooooa oh!" Jun belt out into song, not caring who heard or was looking. Maybe scared a few students while passing by. Oops, too bad. At least he didn't have a horrible voice. It was rather good, thank you very much. |

Was also riding a skateboard. The sight made Charlie smile, and shy a little closer to the corridor wall, with a slight shake of her head. Goodness, Jun was crazy! She was half tempted to trip him, or curse one of the wheels on his board, but on second thoughts - well, she would probably be the one to end up getting hurt, because that was just her luck. Instead, she gave him a reserved smile and rose up on her tiptoes to call to the boy. "Nice pipes." Because really, he did have an impressive voice. She wasn't surprised he'd gotten into this singing programme he'd been telling her about on the train. |
Quote:
"Surprise seeing you around the corridors," |
Quote:
And now there was something and - "Ohnottheshoes." - Charlie wasn't exactly sure what it was. It was weird and cute and Raising her eyes from the skateboard to her friend, but stayed on the ground. "A surprise? Why?" Which was a stupid question anyway, because when was she anywhere other than the grounds or Common Room when it wasn't lesson time? |
Quote:
Charmander licked the tip of Charlie's fingers and sniffed at her again. Sitting on the floor, Jun watched his weird ferret trying to figure out who Charlie was. Charmander was a weird one sometimes. "Because you're either in the common room or the grounds. Never wandering the corridors," Charlie was usually reading, writing letters, or planning summer plans already. Or that's what Jun thought she was doing when passing her in the common room. |
Quote:
Y'know, if she ever fancied making a complete fool of herself. Which wasn't right now. "... It's cute." Nod towards the animal. Not as cute as her cat, but what was? Nothing. "............." Charlies eyes moved between the animal and the boy, a wry smile lifting the corners of her mouth as she shook her head. "You know me too well, Jun." Or maybe he didn't, and she was just predictable. Gosh, she hoped it wasn't the latter. Charlie didn't want to be boring. |
Quote:
"His name's Charmander, a ferret," Muggle animal. Jun grinned, resting his chin on his hand. "You need to get out more. Roll down a hill and not care what happens to your hair and clothes," Y'know, have fun. And not read or write all the time. But Charlie seemed to stay on the safe side of things all the time. Booooo. |
Quote:
Try, try and try again. A ferret? Right. Charlie vaguely recalled seeing them in a pet store when she was younger and shopping for her cat, but that was it. Charmander, however, got tickles behind the ears and kissy noises. What a cute little thing. "JUN! How can I not care about my hair? Do you want me to look ridiculous?" Cue flip of curls behind her should. Honestly, her hair was the only thing that made her look okay, in her opinion anyway. And roll down a hill? Not in a Tamzin Wood original, thank you very much. |
Lili!! This little Lion couldn't remember where she had to meet Lux and Cinnamon. Emmy was pretty sure that she gave the idea of where to meet to her two best friends but she had so much on her mind and being new here really didn't help the third year remember where she had to go. Emmylou was pretty sure that she knew how to get where she was suppose to be going. The blonde really had to get Kace to draw her a map or maybe she could just use his brain as a map and bring him everywhere she had to go but maybe he wouldn't like that because then they had to go to different houses at the end of the day. Emmylou looked around at her surroundings. She played around with the sleeves of her cream colored sweater. What was she going to do? she took her tan colored backpack off of her shoulders, opening it up and looking around for a notebook or a piece of paper to see if she may have written the location down. She had homework, classes, boyfriend time and meeting professors on her mind. Today was the day where she wished that she was an eleven year old first year so she wouldn't get weird looks when she asked them for directions. |
It was that time again. Time to go see Hallie. This time around, she was was going to sit outside of her common room instead of making her poor twin climb all of those stairs again. She was pretty sure Hallie was getting annoyed at her lately and she couldn't really understand why. What had she done? Was she really having such an awful time here? CB sighed and adjusted her little bow and then her skirt before continuing down the corridor. When she looked up again, a girl was standing just a little ways away who looked... troubled. Coral stood up a little straighter, smoother her skirt and approached. "Are you okay?" |

NOPE. NOT HAPPENING. Jun didn't even know how to rap. That's why he entered in level of the program. Most likely he won't even end up the rapper of a group if he debuts. Yeah, no, rapping wasn't happening. Jun shook his head in response. "I dunno how to rap. That's why I entered in level one; to learn how," Even though he was pretty sure he wouldn't use it. He'd probably only rap for fun, when he learned how to. "If I even debut. Tough industry it is and who knows they'll want to pick me anyway," Because there were dozens other guys there, trying to make it too. Charmander enjoyed the tickles to his ears that it made him lay down on the skateboard; asking for belly rubs. Ugh, this ferret was something else. Too affectionate for his own good. But that's what made him more lovable and easier to take care of. Jun blinked. Of course, it was a joke but still. No need to get your nerves up and running. "I mean, you already, look ridiculus in what your wearing so," He smirked and just a joking tone. Obviously he wasn't completely serious. |
Quote:
Hehe. "They should want to pick you. You're amazing." Lovely and talented and everything. So Charlie deemed them crazy if he wasn't famous one day. And she wanted VIP tour tickets and EVERYTHING. Maybe she could style him for photoshoots. That would be fun. Watching the ferret lie down, Charlie laughed quietly and moved her fingers to tickle his stomach instead. Gosh he was growing on her as each moment passed. Could she have him? Pleeeeeassssse? For cute cuddle purposes? "I'm rolling my eyes at you, Jun." You know, in case he couldn't see her doing it so obviously, keeping her gaze on his pet. "My clothes are amazing." You can borrow them if you want. |
Quote:
Emmylou tapped the side of her head lightly, she had to set her homework, lessons and everything else aside and think of where she was going to be headed. Why couldn't she remember? The little lioness was told about the get together a few weeks ago but she could have sworn that she had written in down in her notebook but there was nothing in her notebook besides her notes. The third year sighed. Emmylou took out her notebook again and looked through the pages. |
Quote:
He was still not going to rap. Not even for besties or the girlfriend. "Still not happening. My brother is more of a rapper than a singer. I'll ask him to write you on. But no promises on me actually rapping it," Only the program people would hear it. In private. Jun was pretty sure they'll force him anyway. Pretty sure he wouldn't even be confident enough to do so later on. Tough nuggets, Charlie. "You think so. Maybe I'm not 'amazing' enough for them to be picked yet. But we'll see what happens," Hopefully he wouldn't have to wait such a long time in debuting. But the label releases a new group every two or three years. So there's that. The ferret now on his legs, curled up under Charlie's hand and snuggled himself comfortable. Seriously, what was this ferret anyway? "Yeah? My feelings are now hurt," Yup, yup. Look what you did, Charlie! "I never said they weren't. Just teasing," |
Quote:
Which would probably be super awkward because she didn't want to watch them be all couple-y and stuff. "Introduce me to him, then." And he could write this rap and rap it to her. She wanted to hear this, now that Jun had mentioned it. "Well you work hard enough, and you have natural ability." She shrugged a little, fingers still grazing Charmanders fur. "You'll make it one way or another." Charlie was naive enough to think that everyone who deserved anything got it eventually, and Jun was deserving. Hard working, talented, great - what more did this programme want from its people? "They should be." Because she had meant to hurt his feelings. Her eyes were precious and he should be insulted if she rolled her eyes at him. "You know... I'll wear something embarrassing if you rap for me." In semi-public, aswell, and that was a big deal for Charlie. |
Quote:
So she just kinda wanted to go. "Oh.. Okay, then." Was there anything she could do? "Do you have it written somewhere? I always write things down and that helps.." Always always always. And she repeated things to herself a lot to help memorise them. Like names. Thats the only way she knew how. |
Quote:
"Not that's convincing enough," He said, resting his chin on his hand. Nothing was convincing enough, actually. |
Quote:
Emmylou looked up from her bag for a quick moment and studied the girl for a few seconds, it looked like she didn't want to be here or even help her out and Emmylou could careless about whether the girl wanted to be here or not. If the girl wanted to go then she should go. There was no sense being here if she didn't want to be. But maybe the girl had plans with one of her friends. |
For some reason lying on the floor off the the side of the second floor corridor and doing your homework felt right. Y'know? Or maybe you didn't know. Kind of like Kyroh. He was doing said thing but he didn't know why. FELT RIGHT. Yeah? Kicking his legs the first year scratched another line out on the parchment in front of him. He just wanted to do GOOD in school but this potions homework was kind of making that impossible."Potions. Poooooootions. Potions, potions potions." Sometimes singing helped. |
From down the corridor and through the ajar door of her office, Lolita Domingo had heard a sort of tune. Curious, she had exited the room and made her way down the hallway. When she rounded a corner, she came upon a small boy. Lying on the floor. GASP. He was going to get his clothing dirty! What an awful fashion faux pas to make. She didn't recognise the boy. At least she knew that he had not attended any Arithmancy lessons. But he looked small enough to be a first or second year, so that was not altogether surprising. "An odd place to do homework, don't you think?" |
Quote:
He was too busy sort of caring about his potions essay. Was it even done yet? When would it be done? He was so busy sort of caring that he didn't even notice the footsteps. "Poootion. Pooootions. P-p-p-" A voice came from no where and the first year looked up. It was a lady! She was pretty too! But he'd never seen her before. Was she lost? Did she belong here? The boy stared at the woman. Her lips were really red. DID SHE HAVE THAT LIP-STICK THING ON!?"Not really. 'Cause this is a school ma'am don't you know?" In SCHOOLS you did homework and stuff. "Are you lost?" Kyro jumped up to his feet and took the woman's hand, homework forgotten. "I can help you find your way back home." |
SPOILER!!: Kyroh "Staring is impolite, you know." At least he had the common decency to cease his irritating little song when she spoke to him. "I am well aware this is a school, young man." Why else would she be here teaching? What a foolish question, and from a Ravenclaw by the looks of the robe. "What I meant was why did you choose the middle of the corridor, on the floor, and so far away from your common room?" With a small gasp, she yanked her hand away. "Ay ay ay, chico. Hands off the professor, please." He was dirty. Lolita Domingo did not appreciate dirt on her fabulous wardrobe unless she knew ahead of time it would be there, such as during her field explorations. "I do not need help finding my way home. I am not so estúpido that I cannot round the corner without assistance." Did she LOOK that dumb? Obviously not. |
Quote:
Kyroh knew that pointing was impolite, but he always did it anyways just because he didn't know how else to show someone something without pointing. But staring too? The first year nodded and then looked DOOOWN at the ground. Yup. He was no longer looking at the professor he was looking at the ground. He was being polite. Why'd he choose here? Uh "The library is too quiet. And the common room is too loud. So here seemed like a comfortable spot." It wasn't even that bad the stone floor. "You should try it!" He grinned, eyes still on the floor. She might like it too! Helping her find her way home would be hard with his eyes on the floor but Kyroh could do it! Or- he could have done it if she hadn't pulled her hand away. That wouldn't help miss!! Professor? Huh? AY. Kyroh giggled. Her accent made the word sound awesome! "Ay ay ay ay ay!" Didn't work too well for him. Wait- "Your a Professor and you live around the corner?" Kyroh's eyes went up and he looked around. "Is your bed in the corridor like that swamp?" On the floor below that is. Was that why she didn't want him here? "Is this your room?" |
SPOILER!!: Kyroh Staring down at the ground wasn't polite either, but she figured that he was at least trying to be responsive to her reproach. He just needed some social sense. But at least he had some academic sense. "It sounds like you have a keen awareness of what you need to succeed in your studies. I commend you." However, she had no intention of trying his methods. She would stick with the chair. Lolita did NOT appreciate his poor imitation of her. It came off sounding more like a war whoop than her own expression of surprise. But she was simply confused by his own surprise. "You are not very observant for a Ravenclaw. I have been eating at the staff table in the Great Hall for several weeks now." Not to mention teaching lessons and otherwise, but she knew for sure that the boy had to have eaten at least once in the time since her arrival. "My quarters are in my office, so no I do not sleep in the middle of the corridor and no this is not my room." It was swiftly becoming apparent that this boy was full of questions. She did not like probing questions, not at all... "Well, chico, it is clear you are not creating mischief. Unless you need something I think I will get back to my own work." And get away from potentially dangerous questions. |
