Cris found his way down to Professor Thompson's office. He had been wanting to chat with the Care of Magical Creatures Professor ever since Sander had told him, this man gave great advice.

....and great advice was what Cris was seeking. He walked up to the door of the Professor's office and knocked on it.

KNOCK....KNOCK....KNOCK.

Suspecting that the Professor would most likely be busy preparing for lessons, Cris sat down next to the fireplace, picked up a magazine and began flipping through the pages. He was patient. He could wait.

Leah arrived outside the CoMC professor's office, breathing in fresh air. One of the many good things of the Hogwarts grounds. But she was not here just to enjoy the weather, she wanted to see the professor. Seeing an older Hufflepuff boy in the seating area, Leah gave him a small smile and went up to the door.

*Knock knock*

Then she took a seat by the fireplace and stared into it. She was not going to read, no.

Whew. AJ hoped that she was finally in the right place. You practically needed a map to find you way around here. Come to think of it, that was a pretty good idea. She would have to get with Lex and tell her about it. Right now she had more important things on her mind.

As she rounded the corned she noticed a cozy little spot with a fireplace and all. This was nice. She suddenly had the urge to roast some marshmallows, but decided to make a mental note and approach that at a later time. She didn't see the professor anywhere around so she knocked firmly.


Knock, Knock.

Javy was cleaning his office, it was amazing the amount of dust and critters and their family showed up during the summer. In the bizarre kind of way, of course. Just when he was about to relax in his chair after the tedious task, he heard knocks on his door.

Flicking his wand at the door handle, he unlocked it for calling out, "Come on in!" He wondered who would be entering in today.

This was the perfect time for Emmylou to meet all of her professors and any other important people of Hogwarts. She wanted to get the first hand of introducing herself and it was always a good thing to do, it made the professors notice their students more and what students to look out for. If it wasn't for her Aunt Raeanne then she wouldn't have known that or even think about meeting any of her professors at all.

Emmylou adjusted her new lion tee shirt that her Aunt Raeanne had sent her as soon and she found out where she got sorted. This was Emmylou's next stop, she loved animals so she had a very amazing gut feeling that this would be her favorite class and her favorite professor at the whole school but that wouldn't mean that she wouldn't like any of the other professor or have any other favorite either but magical and muggle creatures were all awesome. Emmylou waited to have permission to go inside the professors office, she stood around because she was just sick of sitting around.

Javy had been returning from a walk as he had so needed for his thoughts. Sans Lala, who was being cared for at the moment. Once he returned to the barnyard, he went straight for his office looking forward to use the couch to rest on.... Or not.

There was a student standing in the seating area. Whether she had just arrived or had been waiting, he didn't know but no matter. "Good day, sorry to keep you waiting." His thoughts on resting went out the window now as he used his wand to unlock his office door before opening it for her. "Come on in and have a seat." Waiting for her to enter in before he did after.

Zahra had on a pair of BOOTS that went up and over her knees. She was ready. She was determined.

AND SHE WASN'T LEAVING WITHOUT SOME HOUSE POINTS.

"HEY PROFESSOR T?" Knocking was for Hufflepuffs. "YOU GOTTA MINUTE?" Zahra shouted at his door and kind of kicked at it with her boot. BURRRRR COLD, even with the fire. She probably needed to throw a few of those magazines on the flame.

Javy hadn't exactly expected to get anymore guests today. Not that he minded, it just took him by surprise. His office due to some frequent outside visitor(s) had gotten a little untidy over the weeks so tidying it up was definitely in order.. soon. Anyway, now to deal with answering the rapidily banging door, as he heard a very familiar student's voice behind it..

Yep, it was Zahra the infamous Gnome hunter. "Miss Kettleburn.." First noticing the long boots she was wearing. Interesting, as he use to own a pair when younger on the farm to deal with certain chores. Hmm.. Anyways, it was chilly out so he thought it best to just cut to the chase already. Of course.. The work boots she was wearing made perfect sense now. "I see.." His arms folded once she mentioned her need because of Potions class. Not just because of the belief that he wouldn't hear her out, but because it was chilly. He aimed his wand at the fireplace to make the fire burn more intensely for extra heat. Much better. Anyways, "Well, Miss Kettleburn I am quite interested in hearing how and why you lost some points in Potions class firstly before deciding." So yes, sharing would be beneficial. Her insisting on shoveling the animal droppings, was in fact tempting though. "We might be able to work something out then." Of course with the key word being 'work'.

"Oh... aw man...," Zahra WOULD tell him, and the whole truth, too, but she figured that was as good as a NO. Teachers all agreed with each other and junk. "Okay... so there's this kid named Kevin and he was having a really bad day in Potions." No, really, a Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad day. "And he and Professor Potions were at odds, and that was FINE 'cause Professors gotta do what they gotta do. But all the kids in class were getting mad at Kevin and junk, like... threatening to hit him and saying no one liked Gryffindors and stuff."

... Zahra paused, 'cause this was the part of the story where SHE got involved. "So I told those know-it-all Ravenclaws that if they didn't leave him alone and mind their own business, I'd give them swirlies after class. You know, the thing where you put their heads in a toilet and flush it."

Did Professor T know of that? Probably. "SO Professor Potions got mad and took House points from me and no one else. He also took my potion and wand after that, so you know, I ended up REALLY in the hole for points after that class."

She scratched where her boots ended, right at her knee and hopped one-footed towards the fire, nearly fell, but replaced the grin back on her face. QUITE A TALE, HUH PROFESSOR?

Javy blinked, just a few times as he listened to this story. Trouble always seems to find her. As heard the mentions of an argument and her defending another student. Hm.. "Interesting.." To say the least. He would definitely have to hear Cosgrach's side too. "While I'm sure he had his own reasons, I can certainly understand your point of view on it.. now what sort of potion were you brewing for him?" The many gears in his mind spinning away while he collected the extra information. Perhaps something good could come out of this for the both of them.

Interesting? Yeah.... Zahra SUPPOSED it was. She was thinking more along the lines of TRAGIC and UNFAIR, but okay... interesting. Oh and COOL he understood her point of view? COOL. Enough to give her some points back....? Like even ONE POINT would help.

"Oh like... an old one or something. Some potion that made old people feel real guilty and junk. It was hard enough to brew it, and I failed TWICE and he stole my potion, so I didn't get to finish it," Zahra explained, as if everyone had been there and done THAT. Shrug. "Not that I'd use it anyway, you know? I don't use potions on people."

"Mmhmm.." The Creature teacher, heard about that particular potion. Well, any way it had been decided. "Alright then, Miss Kettleburn.. I believe I do have some work for you to do. Depending on how well you do we can work out the points issue.. Are we clear?" It was a win-win thing after all if she accepted.

Oh HECK YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zahra held up BOTH HANDS! TWO HIGH FIVES FOR THAT, PLEASE!!! YEAAH!!!!

"I'm a GOOD worker! I'll scoop ALL your poop!" Zahra laughed out loud, then corrected, "your ANIMAL poop anyway." Though if Professor T was pooping on the grounds, Zahra would scoop that too for house points. Poop was poop, she supposed. "Point me to the POOP!" WOOT!

"Good.." Javy gave a small smile at her enthusiasm. Not many were so willing to shovel the feces, after all. That task was too repetitive and predictable to be assigned in his opinion. "Now that won't be necessary, instead you'll be doing collecting." Now which items to be precise? "Specifically in the Play pens area, where there are some flobberworms I need you to gently collect enough mucus off of them enough to fill up this jar halfway." Taking one of the empty jars from inside his robe pockets to high-five it into one of her outreached hands. "And in this jar," Yes, he kept empty jars around just in case. Handing it to her in the same process with her other hand. "you are to collect about two of Eddy the Augurey's feathers to place in here. He'll let you after you feed him some of his favorite foods first." Assuming she'll remember or at least have some idea on what Augurey's usually eat. "And finally you can sweep the floors in this whole Barnyard and Stables area." Pausing to see if she at least looked like she remembered the instructions. "Still with me?"

Zahra kept repeating this list over and over in her head as she reached out to take the jar. This Professor kept JARS in his robes. That was cool. Oh Merlin she was going to forget the list... focus focus focus! MUCUS, FEATHERS, SWEEP. MUCUS FEATHERS SWEEP.

"Got it! I note there is no poop in your chores. You saving that for yourself, huh, Professor?" haaaaaaaaaahaahaaahaha teehee heeeheee

"Good.." Since she seemed so eager and all, the Creature teacher was taking her word for it. Merlin, this Gryffindor girl was really into swabbing the poop deck. Perhaps she had an interest in being a pirate. Eh, no matter. "You could say that.." Smirking a little at the thought. "Alright Miss Kettleburn. You know the deal, do everything perfect and you'll get your earnings." Now how would she deliver the goods? "You can come in after you're finished to set the jars on my desk." Perhaps he could try the humouring thing, "Are you ready?" Waiting in case she had another question or needed the tasks repeated before letting her go.

Perfect? Everything perfect? Zahra wasn't good at PERFECT.... She bit at her lip a little, scratched her leg thoughtfully, but then agreed with a BIG NOD. "I got it. You want some perfection. I got you. I'll be back with MUCUS and FEATHERS ASAP!"

And as Zahra ran off she yelled back, "AND SWEEPINGS! ALL THE SWEEPING!"

She'd do that TOOOOOOOOOOOOO! "GET YOUR HOUSE POINTS READY, PROFESOR T!"

Because THIS K-BURN WAS ABOUT DEEEE-LIIIIIIVERRRRRR! She trotted/ran towards.... where were those flobby worms again? hehe. Hehe!

The corner of his lips twitched in an effort not to smirk at her enthusiasm. "Good.. I'll be in my office then." Waiting until she departed out of site did he turn and head back inside to wait.

Interesting things were getting interesting around this place and this time the Gryffindor wouldn't be missing out. Sure there was the fact the last time things started appearing out of the forest the Headmistress gave strict instructions about them but Thompson wasn't here then, this was totally different and he wouldn't technically be breaking any rules if she asked him. Besides, he was her best and only bet during a time like this. Who else was she gonna ask? Exactly.

Lex walked up to the door of the Professor's Office, giving a few firm knocks before going to flop on one of the comfier chairs and enjoying the heat from the fire.

Was it too much to hope he had a Quidditch Magazine among all these here? She knew the sport was banned but surely having some of it in writing wouldn't hurt anyone? If not, then she hoped he'd have something on chimaeras. She'd been curious for the longest while.

Javy had been organising some of his belongings and with some packing and unpacking mixed it. The chill had started to seep into his office now when he heard the knocks. Opening the door he could see the young lady Gryffindor Prefect.

"Hello, Miss Cambridge.. what can I do for you?"

Just as she'd thought, not a drop of quidditch to feed her soul in the ways chocolate couldn't--which were very few ways mind you but ways nonetheless. With some luck though, she was able to grab one with an article on the 10 deadliest creatures in the Wizarding World. These facts, they had her wanting one of each...or no...could she have two nundu? Surely one would get lonely and she wouldn't be able to pay that much attention to it all the time. Had to think ahead for these things you kno--

The Gryffindor had been so caught up in her reading that she almost forgot she'd knocked on the Professor's door. What had she come here for again? Oh right! Lex hopped up, letting the magazine flop to the table with a soft thud as she faced the Professor with her most polite smile. Polite because Professors were more likely to consider your propositions that way.

"I was hoping to talk to you a little about unicorns, Sir and maybe Thestrals." Perfectly serious right here, yup.

Soooo Arista kind of lost track of time and she had meant to come talk to Professor Thompson the day after she spoke to Professor Flamsteed but really she forgot so here she was now days later...If not more but she stopped counting after two. Because again too much time for that. And she wasn't even sure she wanted to come what if he took her away.

She peered into her pocket yeap, Anneliese was still there...Still being a baby about the cold.

She gave a knock onto the door...If he did ask about her she could just say that she 'forgot' it in her room.. Yeah back up plan she liked it!
