A memo in the shape of a paper plane glides gracefully through the crack beneath the door, before exercising a smooth landing on the Professor's desk.

SPOILER!!: Memo!

Dear Colleagues,

It has come to my attention that we are not communicating effectively enough where student behaviour is concerned. I for one would appreciate any and all feedback regarding the Gryffindors should issues concerning their behaviour, well being or academic progress arise. I ask this so that as Gryffindor Head of House, and Deputy Headmisstress I may assist in supporting you by monitoring and managing concerns regarding the students under my care.

Please don't hesitate to contact me directly, or indirectly via memo or owl.

Kind regards,
Seren Bentley

She walked over to his desk. "I made these if you want some." Addi showed him the plate of brownies and set them down on his desk. She grabbed her cup of tea. "Thank you." She took a sip before speaking. "I've been thinking about furthering my study with charms in uni next year." That should show she was looking for suggestions or something.

Oh, good. She was a reliable Slytherin. He smiled at her comment. "Good to know." She really could take any books she'd like to. He wouldn't mind. He'd read all of them before.

Oooh, brownies. His eyes probably lit up at the sight of them. He hadn't received cupcakes from Cat this term, so he was delighted to find chocolate on his desk. "Thank you, those look great." And he would probably eat them all as soon as she left. No shame.

Fuller's eyes did light up when she mentioned that she was thinking about studying charms after she left Hogwarts. "That's fantastic. What do you want to do for work?" he asked, trying to get a good idea of what kind of charms she was looking into. Did she want to teach, work in the ministry, be self employed? Hmmm? He was curious.

Adelaide already had seen a few titles she might want to borrow. But that could wait until later.

There was that little glimmer Addi was used to seeing in people's eyes whenever her brownies were brought in front of them. She really was getting used to that. "Made fresh this morning. They're double chocolate fudge." You know, in case he really was looking forward to the chocolate aspect.

She couldn't help but smile at how excited he seemed to be about her career choice. "Actually, I was thinking about teaching." Sure she was still gonna try for quidditch, but she'd love to be a teacher someday. She always had fun helping the younger students in lessons or with homework.

Double chocolate fudge. Maybe he didn't need Cat's cupcakes after all. These looked amazing and he was probably going to stuff them all in his face the moment she left. But for now, he would be polite. "Well, thank you." He looked forward to devouring them.

Oh, she wanted to teach? Yes! Fuller grinned. "That's excellent. Do you know which university you'll be attending?" He was always excited to hear that students wanted to teach. It was like having someone following your footsteps... Even if it had nothing to do with him. He could hope. "And what kind of teaching? School aged students?" Hmmmm?

"You're welcome." Adelaide was quite shocked he didn't reach for one immediately. She was just used to Flamsteed eating them on site. Well, and everyone else in her house.

Addi could tell how excited Professor Pretty was. Ah. She shook her head. "I'm stuck between staying nearby and going away." Like Australia or Greece sounded lovely. Like a nice change of pace, but affording it and all that. She suppressed a little giggle. Yes he was most definitely excited. "That's what I was thinking. Eventually come back and teach her maybe." Of course that would be far off in the future.

It was always difficult deciding whether or not to stay close to home to study or go abroad. Piers took a seat at his desk and leaned back in his chair. "Well, there's pros and cons to both options. Depends on how much you love home versus how much you want to explore. You can always start school here and then transfer." That's what he had done and he had always thought it was a good decision.

And she wanted to teach at Hogwarts eventually? He couldn't help but smile. Piers never thought he'd end up back at Hogwarts as a teacher, but it turned out to be the perfect decision for him. "I think it's a great idea. I highly suggest doing an internship while you're studying. Most universities have you do them anyway, but they are quite helpful." That's how he landed his first real job!

Adelaide bit her lip. She wanted to tell him how she pretty much didn't have a home at this point, but that would probably just make her start to tear up. She didn't want to almost cry in front of two professors. "I would love to explore. There's so much out there I'd love to see." Traveling always appealed to her. She was originally going to try and talk her parents into helping her do that, but that was obviously no longer an option. "...and I didn't think of that."

The smile. That pretty pretty smile. Okay. So maybe she wouldn't cry because that smile. "I wouldn't even know where to start with any of that." She hardly knew where to start with university. Let alone the slight predicament she was in with herself about quidditch. Having to become an adult sucked.

Traveling and exploring was excellent fun, but there was also a downside in some cases. "You just have to make sure you have good self-discipline. It's a lot more fun to forget about homework and school when you're in a foreign place." He had struggled with that a lot in his first couple years in Greece. Hitting the foreign pubs and parties had been a lot more fun than homework. Heh.

University and adult life after Hogwarts could be quite overwhelming, but he was there to help in any way he could. "What specifically don't you know?" he asked kindly. Maybe he could help?

Self discipline. Right. "I think I'll be able to manage. I was homeschooled for four years and taught myself most of the basic theory parts of magic." Sad but true. Twice a week magic lessons weren't very helpful. Then again, she was also in a very familiar place. Adelaide feared she might get the explore bug.

That was a very long list Professor Pretty. "How to find them, what people are looking for..." Addi bit her lip. She probably could have kept going but that was a good start.

A silver patronus in the form of a bald eagle zooms into the office and delivers it's urgent message. "Piers, someone has sent up S.O.S sparks on the grounds. I'm going out to investigate accompanied by Gryffindor student Victor Bay. Please come and join us. I fear that the person(s) who sent up the sparks might be in danger or even in the worst case injured. Please hurry!"

After the message was delivered the silver eagle dissolved and vanished.

With the Valentine's card in hand with the chocolate chip cookies tied to it, Simon approached Professor Fuller's Office door. He was proud of his work and he hoped that Fuller would like the card and the cookies. He had made the cookies using the kenaz runestone as it always tasted much better that way.

Mhmmm..

With a quick breath, he knocked on the door and waited for the Professor to come and open the door. He crossed two fingers behind his back, hoping that he wasn't interrupting anything.

>:D hehe

Disillusioned, because unlike other wannabe pranksters he liked to pretend he knew what he was doing and being more secretive about his craft, the astronomer made his way towards the closed office door and checked his sundial watch quickly. The Charms professor should be in the middle of his afternoon Charms lesson right now, so proper placement of his 'gift' and a speedy get away shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Snickering under his breath, he set down a carefully wrapped package - one that he had had the house elves wrap for him since his own wrapping jobs were pathetic and obviously done by him - in front of the door containing a knitted sweater made by himself using pygmy puff fur shaved off by Mr. Mourdant from Javy's own pygmy puffs. He had had to knit the sweater magically since the practice he had gotten from knitted his Star Trek dolls was nowhere near enough to be able knit a sweater efficiently. Scarf...perhaps.

Anyway.

He then set a piece of parchment down on top of the box in Javy's handwriting:

Grinning as he backed away from his display, he refrained from letting out one of his mad scientist laughs. Little did little ol' Piersy know that the sweater had been laced in muggle itchy powder.

Cue internal MWAHAHAHA action.

Slinking behind one of the corners, Airey pondered lingering to see the look on Piers' face when he came back and saw the gift, but opted that it would be best to just leave the scene of the crime.

HEHEHEHE HOHOHOHO MWAHAHAHAHA!
