From the first floor, Professor Hadley leads the way down to the kitchens where we'll get started with the main portion of the lesson, which is very hands-on (basically meaning that discussion shall happen whilst you work!)
Spread out on each of the five tables are various workstations that were pre-set before you arrived. By each workstation consisted of: a pizza stone and french rolling pin. Along with various food items: a jar of red pasta sauce, shredded mozzarella cheese, olive oil, garlic salt, dried oregano, sugar, yeast, salt, and flour. And of course measuring spoons and cups, along with the necessary bowls.
"First things first, we need to make the dough. Now I don't normally recommend using magic in this class, but I'll make an exception for getting the necessary amount of water, you may use the aguamentis charm."
"Which ingredients do you think we need at your workstation for making the dough?"
Lesson Progression {for this thread anyway}
Answers for above and recipe for making dough! Go make your dough now /nopunintended
Dough has risen.... moving onto the kneading, though more discussion as we do; why do we add garlic salt and oil to the dough?
Finishing touches on pizza prep: sauce, cheese, toppings, etc. You have about 8-10 hours from the time of the post to get the pizzas ready and in the oven ;D
And pizzas are done! Eat and enjoy! Don't forget to save a sample for the Professor so you can get credit =)

Yay there were getting closer to actually baking the pizza. Cris listened carefully as Professor Hadley gave them a choice of using a rolling pin or kneading with their hands to roll the dough. Could they try tossing it? Now that was a great idea. Yes he was good at tossing stuff but Cris decided that for now, since they were supposed to eat what they had baked that it would more practical to use the first two methods she suggested.
Ahhhh...and here's another question? Why drizzle olive oil and garlic salt on to the dough? Cris figured he'd hazard another guess. Raising his hand, he shared his thoughts.
"Professor, could drizzling the olive oil and adding garlic salt over the dough help make it easier to stretch the dough and maybe make the crust nice, thick and chewy? The garlic salt could also add to the taste and flavor of the pizza."
Now that he had shared his thoughts, Cris turned to Jasmine. "So what would you like me to do, Jasmine. These hands are prepared to do anything," Cris asked his girlfriend. Yes she was the cook between the two of them. She would know which task he would be able to undertake without making a mess of it.
~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes.
Adi opted for the thinner dough. Yep, that was pretty much how he preferred his pizza, anyway. So he got the rolling pin, placed the dough on the stone and began to roll it out. As he did this, he thought of his answer. Pausing to raise a hand in the air, the third year answered. ''For flavour and colour. The garlic salt does the first and the oil does the second.'' Now back to rolling the dough.
Okaaaay. Adi's dough wasn't that round. Ugh! He tried to level it out in places until he was satisfied it was round. Sort of. Mostly. Haha. What was next? Oh yes! Use the fork to poke the dough. The boy did just that. What's next, Professor?

Finally, onto the next step. They were nearly there to put the toppings and then put it in the oven and then hopefully to eat decent pizza. This is what Tag had been waiting on.
So Tag listened as Hadley went on and on about the sugar and salt. He supposed they should learn a little bit more about it since they were using it. And to people the sugar may seem like a really random ingredient.
Now, onto the dough part. They could knead it or roll it out depending on how they preferred their pizza. Tag liked his with a bit of fluff, thicker. He knew what kneading looked like but a question popped into his head as his knuckles working on the dough, turning each side every few seconds after working on it equally. "If we like thicker crust, and have to knead it, do we roll it out afterwards or just keep it however it is once we believe it's kneaded well enough?" They probably didn't need to roll it out? But this was something Tag had never remembered seeing from his father.
"I think the olive oil gives it that slightly browning crust, so it doesn't just look like bland white crust. And the garlic salt gives it flavor, perhaps. Again, so it doesn't taste boring, bland." Tag answered as he worked on the dough.

Despite how much he liked drama and looking into it, something told him that this wasn't going to go well. At least not for him. His eyebrows furrowed as he looked between Hadley, Lex and Lottie. What even? Couldn't they go ahead with the system they had? It seemed to work pretty well for them. She was going to get the smallest pieces. It was PERFECT.
But nooooOOOOOOOOOooooooooo!
And then Lottie was speaking and.............
SAY WHAT?!
No. No no. HE had to give up HIS pizza?! WHAT IN THE NAME OF MERLIN. Dejected, he opened his mouth to argue this point and say that there was NO WAY he was going to give up the dough he had been working SO hard on but Lottie was continuing. And there was a wink too. That seemed to add points in the column that talked about the pros of giving his dough up to Lex, right alongside the points that this was LEX and that he was sure she would hex him into another century if she walked out of here on an empty stomach.
"Fine. FINE, you can have my dough." And cue a smile for the Gryffindor Prefect. "You owe me big time, Cambridge." Wink. He pushed the bowl towards her.
Oh there was a question too. About salt and flour. Salt question came first soooo, Grayson raised his hand to answer that one. "Dough without salt tastes bland. If you have a pizza crust that doesn't have salt in it, you can instantly tell that something's not right." Uh huh. "And besides, doesn't it help keep the dough not so sticky?" Because the last thing HE wanted was for a sticky dough.
"I heard something about a water to flour ratio." That was all. He didn't understand it too much sooooooo he wasn't going to say anything else on that.

This was rather interesting, indeed. And L-Squared was falling short because there is just SO MUCH MORE they can accomplish. They have to work on this.
Unfortunately, Grayson's acceptance meant that they wouldn't get to work as a group anymore. Certainly, the Gryffindor and the Slytherin could keep on bickering all they wanted, Lottie wouldn't mind. But yes, technically, it was Grayson and herself from now on. "Thanks for offering, that's so nice of you." She said, when he'd agreed. Not when he had offered to give his dough to Lex, because he never did, we know that. He was still getting smiles for complying.
Speaking of smiles, why was her boyfriend's so small. She returned it just because.
As far as salt goes, she probably had nothing more to add.
Just when she thought things couldn't get any worse, the Gryffindor was nearing the end of her chocolate. No chocolate and no pizza. This was clearly a sign, she just needed to find out what it was saying. Perhaps that she should drop Muggle Studies or face.....THIS.
Lex stared at the chocolate, as if trying to will it to last longer than it currently was but her eyes drifted back to the Slytherin as he began to speak. She could have his dough? Lex grinned even after him mentioning her owing him. "You won't be disappointed--though you might be with the dough. I reckon I should apologize before I get my hands on it. You'll forgive me, won't you?" Of course he would, they were buds. It'd have taken more to change that. Sandwiches in the kitchen sealed all deals. Obviously. This was legit now whether Grayson liked it or not.
Lottie got a nudge and a smile in thanks for getting her a dough so she wouldn't have to start again. Thank you very much Lottie for saving her from starvation, even if only temporary and exaggerated starvation. Ahem.
Oh and they'd be kneading the dough now? Lex wasn't going near the oven. This was muggle studies, no magic allowed, no levitating the pizza into the fire hot oven but she would do this kneading thing.
She didn't know what type of crust Grayson preferred but if he wanted this thing tasting even half decent he'd appreciate her using a rolling pin instead of attempting this with her own devices. The Gryffindor grabbed the pin and began beating at the dough, whacking it over and over until she was sure it was dead until it looked like a lump of dough with holes in it.
Erm....it didn't LOOK like a pizza crust....."Help?"

Hadley was listening to the student replies as she willed time to move faster ... wasn't there a way to make dough rise faster? She was pretty sure there was a spell for that. Of course it probably had side effects but you know. Uh what was the question she'd asked again? Ah right, about salt.
"Salt as you may or may not know is a mineral substance composed of sodium and chloride; now the chemical history behind the substance isn't so important for this class, at least," other classed they took it might be, but she wasn't interested in it. "Salt, like sugar, can be omitted from the dough recipe yet it often is utilized as its not much. The main role of salt is for flavor, as many of you said, though it also plays a role in the dough's elasticity and texture. It ultimately creates a stronger dough that feels less sticky so it is extremely helpful in the stretching of the dough when forming the crust."
"Just as sugar is food for the yeast, salt regulates the consumption rate, creating a more consistent fermentation. It allows for the gluten to become more fully hydrated and prevents the dough from over fermenting quickly." Yes, this probably seemed unimportant and boring, but it was quite the contrary, especially considering how many were interested in actually EATING decent pizza. "If the dough ferments too much or too quickly, then there will be less sugar left over to caramelize the dough when baking, thus lacking that golden brown crust we all love. So in essence, salt is critical to the end result of a tasty crust."
"A crust without salt will seem bland and takes away from the overall experience of the toppings. Not to mention that one of salts principles is that it holds water. Holding water is critical to keeping a moist and fresh dough. Without salt, the bread becomes dry and stale within a few hours of baking; effects that cannot be slowed or reversed."
Glancing around at their dough, she nodded in approval. "It seems, we're just about there for the next part - the rolling of the dough." She paused, waiting... "There's two options for this; if you like thinner crusts, then you should use the rolling pin to roll out your dough onto the round pizza stone. However, if you prefer a thicker crust, then kneading it with your hands is best. Yes, if you're daring, you may try tossing it into the air. But if you drop it on the floor, then we're not trying yours..." That was a joke. Maybe. "The ovens are preheating now to 425, while we knead our dough. Once your dough is kneaded or hand-tossed into a round circle, prick it with a fork in various locations a few times throughout the dough. This process will help to oxidize the dough and keep it fresh. Drizzle your dough with olive oil and garlic salt. Why do we do that?"
Salt could do all that? Cutty imagined that it had even more uses outside of Muggle Food Transfiguration. Wouldn't hurt to start keeping some on his immediate self if going into an experimental zone. He lifted his quill and dirtied it with a bit of flour as he took the time to write: Research, Magical Properties of Salt.
Cutty searched for a rolling pin. It was his personal preference that dough and breadly items be of the flatter, thinner sort. Not that he would object to a roll, he just liked thin crust. He pulled out one pin, took one look at it, rejected it, then pulled out another which appeared to be exactly like the one before. Only this one he kept for use when they'd rolled out their dough. Raising his hand then, he offered an answer to Professor Hadley's question, "Maybe it helps with even cooking. If it's cooked in the oven then we obviously can't interfere once the cooking process has begun as we could with something cooked over a stove, so those things probably help ensure one side of the pizza doosen't coom out all black whilst the rest is almost uncooked."

Zander listened carefully as he carefully thought about what kind of dough he wanted. Thick or thin? Thick. The fluffy crust was the best... right? Mostly because the crust was actually the BEST part of the whole pizza. So it'd be better to have a nice fluffy pillow of it. Yep. It's only logical.
Now for the kneading bit? How does one knead exactly? But oooh, hand tossing? That sounded like fun. Zander never tossed a pizza before! The Gryffindor took the pile of dough into his hands and began tossing. He made sure to only hardly throw it though, so that he could actually catch it. But after a successful two tries he was starting to gain more confidence.
Zander Adair, professional pizza tosser at your service! He started throwing the pizza up higher and higher. Oooh it looked like it only needed one last toss! And here it goes!
Zander reached up his arms to grab the pizza for the last time but uh.... Nothing was coming down? WHERE DID IT GO?! Uh-oh. "... Professor Hadley? I think my dough disappeared?" Little did the third year know that it had gotten stuck on the ceiling.... OOPS.

Jasmine put the pizza stone in front of them and removed the cover from the bowl containing the dough. She decided to go with the thick crust and forego the rolling pin. Taking the big ball of dough out of the bowl, she began to knead it. Pushing the dough forward with the heel of her hands, Jasmine then pulled it back toward her with her fingertips. Back and forth she went, kneading the dough over and over until she felt that it was ready.
Finally Jasmine began to spread the dough out and stretch it into a circular shape. Bigger and bigger she made it until it started to resemble a real pizza crust. Carefully pinching around the edges, Jasmine tried to finish off the pizza crust. There would be no tossing the crust, not by her anyway. She just saw that as a disaster waiting to happen so she left it alone. When she felt that she had done the best that she could, Jasmine turned it over to Cris. "It's all yours", she said. Then Jasmine stepped aside to let Cris take over?

Cris heaved a sigh of relief when Jasmine suggested she be in charge of the rolling while he was responsible for helping the dough to breath and look all nice with the olive oil and garlic salt. Picking up the fork, he tested its tines before nodding enthusiastically, "I'm ready when you are," he told her as he waited patiently for her to work her magic with the dough.
Cris envied the way she handled the dough making it all nice and round and crusty looking. At least one of them knew what they were doing. When she stepped aside to let him have a go with his fork, he happily stepped forward and began to liberally pierce the dough with the fork's tines. A little over here, a little over there and then it was time to drizzle the olive oil.
He replaced the fork for the bottle of olive oil and tilted it a little over the dough allowing the oil to slowly drizzle over the it until he had covered the entire round surface. Now for the garlic salt. Picking up the salt shaker, Cris lighted salted the surface of the pizza dough before placing the shaker down.
"Did I miss any spots?" he turned to ask Jasmine inquiringly, glancing over in time to see Zander toss his dough up...only it didn't come down. Resisting the urge to laugh out loud, Cris leaned over to inform his young friend of his missing pizza dough's whereabouts.
"Um...Zander, it's up there?" Cris gestured up to the ceiling.

Caleb was DEFINITELY a thick crust kind of guy, so he kneaded at the dough with his hands as his classmates answered Hadley's question. After he felt that he had a nice, round pizza crust in front of him - not TOO thick that it wouldn't cook but not so thin that it would burn - he raised his hand to join the discussion.
"Well, the garlic is probably for flavor, and probably the oil as well, but...you probably want the oil so it doesn't stick to the pan and it doesn't cry out and get all crispy, right?" he said. He was pretty sure they used oil when making cookies at Christmas, so it was the same idea, right?

Zander looked around in utter confusion. Was Zahra the cause of this, that evil arm-biting, up-to-no-good doing---
And his thoughts were interrupted by none other than Cris, the older hufflepuff he met in the dueling arena. What? Zander followed Cris' fingers all the way up to the... Uh-oh. "Oh," that was the most he could say about the predicament. Uh. What does one do with a ceiling pizza? How could he get it down? It was way too far up to reach for. And they weren't supposed to use any magic in this class. Uuhhh.
What the heck!? Muggle studies is supposed to be easy!!! Ugh.
Zander kept his eye on the pizza dough as he tried to think of a way to get it down from up there. Uh... And just as he started brainstorming, he noticed that one side was starting to get all, unstuck. Oh no. Well there's a reason he never made it on the Quidditch team because his reflexes were definitely not quick enough to catch the pizza, which sure enough fell.
SPLAT. Right on top of his head. Well things just got really gooey and real doughy real quickly. Now what?

She had stayed quiet during the discussion, not because she hadn’t had answers. Lily had ideas as to why they had needed to add all the ingredients in question, yet they had been said. There wasn’t any reason to repeat things just so Professor Hadley knew she was paying attention. There were other ways of doing that, and she had been grateful that nobody had questioned her dough-making skills. As if she had any that she knew of, since this would be the first pizza she had made from scratch. She had felt sympathy for Alexa, though, yet stayed quiet. Staying quiet had also kept her from wanting to keep checking on her dough to make sure it had been rising. The focus was important, even if she didn’t think anything was likely to explode like might have happened in Potions. Focus was important in everything, especially baking. Otherwise, she could end up with a failed pizza, and she wasn’t about to depend on anyone else to offer to let her share theirs.
She was determined to make the best pizza she could. As such, she’d been grateful for the discussion turning back toward things like how to actually deal with the dough, along with the knowledge she had been right in her thoughts earlier. People didn’t always use rolling pins with the dough, and she had the chance to see if she could toss it. Going the easy way out didn’t seem fun to her, anyway. She’d started by kneading, anyway, using the heels of her hands to work the dough so it was more pliable before even contemplating what she’d do next. She wasn’t about to get her dough stuck to the ceiling, like had happened to a Gryffindor boy working not that far away from her. She’d just toss it up a little, adding a bit of a spin. It was supposed to stretch, so that meant she couldn’t toss it like a ball. After a few throws, though, she started feeling more unsure of her ability to catch it. It seemed pretty good, anyway. She placed it onto her pizza stone and used her hands to press it out just bit more, to make it more even and looking like pizza. Once that was done, she picked up a fork and pricked it several times, making sure to get the pricks close to evenly spaced through the circle of dough, before drizzling olive oil on the surface followed by a sprinkling of garlic salt. She’d lightly brushed the dough to spread the oil evenly as well, just to cover her bases. She didn’t want one spot to brown while another burned.

Hmm? Candice was allergic to sugar? Was that a real thing? Like was that even a possibility? She bit her lower lip, shaking her head. "It's only a very small amount of sugar added, Candice, but are you truly unable to have any sugar at all?" she asked quietly to the small first year. "Because we can make some dough without any sugar?" It wouldn't take too long.
15 minutes down. She eyed her wristwatch.
"As you know from the sugar ingredient, yeast is used to make the dough rise. So then, what is the purpose of the small amount of salt we add? Is that for flavour? Also, why only add a little flour at a time - if we add too much flour what do you think will happen?"
There's such thing as Allergic to sugar in case the Professor was wondering. "Umm. I can eat sugar but just a small amount, Professor." So there's no need to make another dough without sugar for her. And for why they need to put salt to the dough maybe its because to balance the sugar but someone already said that so no need to repeat it again. As for the flour she had no idea at all.

That's very long explanation.
Blink. Blink. Blink.
But they're finally moving on with the dough. Yay! Rolling the dough? She turned her attention to her partner. "Do you mind to roll the dough and I can do the next part?" Simon had more experiences in making pizza than her so its safer if he do it, yes? Hehehe. And for the next question she had absolutely no idea why they have to drizzle their dough with olive oil and garlic salt.

What a LONG explanation about dough. AJ wasn't even sure if she soaked any of that information up. All she kept doing was looking at her dough and counting down the minutes before they could actually eat their creations. Was that a question she heard? She raised her hand. "You add garlic if you wanna have bad breath, and oil is for decoration." You know, it gives it that shine.
Deciding on thick crust just because that meant she could do the rest of the work with her hands, the lion got down to business. She started to knead the dough until her arms hurt. Once she was satisfied with her creation she poked holes in her dough. Her stomach was already starting to growl. How much longer exactly?

She liked thinner crusts. Y'know, less fat and stuff. Getting the rolling pin and scourgifying it just in case, Leah started rolling out her dough on the pizza stone. She also made sure that the dough did not come out too thin. Well, it ended up ugly. Not very round. Sighing, the second year joined in the discussion.
"They make the pizza taste better by adding flavor." Leah also flashed AJ a grin for the funny answer. Then picking up the olive oil and garlic salt, she drizzled the dough with them. Eh, was this too much? Too less?

Jasmine thought about what type of crust she might like to have for her pizza. Then she continued to write notes, condensing all of the information that the Professor had provided. She also had to figure out how she and Cris would divide up the next tasks for making their pizza.
"Precisely right," Fina nodded, as she carefully brushed oil onto her own crust...

"No, no, not at all. Olive oil does nothing for the elasticity of the dough. That's all credit to the chemical reaction between the ingredients." Fina explained. "Olive oil and garlic salt is all about the flavor."

Okaaaay. Adi's dough wasn't that round. Ugh! He tried to level it out in places until he was satisfied it was round. Sort of. Mostly. Haha. What was next? Oh yes! Use the fork to poke the dough. The boy did just that. What's next, Professor?
"They both work together for flavour and colour." Mmhm. It wasn't solely the garlic salt for flavour; oil played a role in that too.

"If you knead it and work it out with your hands into a round pizza shape, then no, you don't have to roll it afterwards unless you feel like it doesn't resemble pizza crust in any way...." Hadley said thoughtfully. "There's nothing like hand-tossed or hand-kneaded crust though." It just seemed so ... real.

Now that was what Hadley was waiting for ... or expecting ... a help? From the Gryffindor Prefect, nonetheless. Frowning over at the sixth year and her lump of dough, she raised an eyebrow curiously. "Miss Cambridge. The dough is not a bludger to whack. No need to beat it. Smooth it out flat..." This wasn't quidditch.

"It does help with the cooking. It keeps the dough from getting soggy in the middle too." Hadley nodded in explanation.

OOPS.

Now what?
Hmm? What was that? Someone lost their dough? Dough didn't just disappear unless they were referring to dough as money, and it was a spouse. But pizza dough didn't just disappear. But oh, it seemed the sixth year badger pointed it out to the gryffindor... and he'd done such a good job throwing the dough, pity it had to get stuck up there on the ceiling.
Fighting the urge not to laugh (because it WAS funny! even if she'd never attempt to toss dough into the air herself and thought he was brave for attempting it), she was about to offer to use her wand to get it down - despite it being muggle studies - when it seemed to break free from the ceiling on its own. And land on the third year's head. Okay, can she laugh NOW? No. Okay.
"I think a quick sanitation charm and the dough should be okay to still use...It looks like its got enough flour to not get hair stuck in it, at least." Fina suggested. He'd definitely want to wash his hair later though; washing with flour and dough was not really clean. So yes, she was giving him permission to use one quick magic spell in muggle studies? "Did you need help?"

"The oil is on the top of the crust though, so it really has no effect on preventing sticking to the pan. But yes to the crispiness and the flavor," Fina smiled at the Slytherin.

Ah yup. That right there. Totally the reason. "Garlic isn't just for bad breath...." Fina winked at the first year. "It helps keep the vampires away too." She was joking of course. Maybe. But hey, gotta add SOME humour, right?!?
"So yes, working the edges out by hand will give you a thicker crust." She explained, as she did this to her own dough. Thick crust pizza was definitely better in her mind, at least. Of course her sister would disagree on that account. There was a happy medium though.
"So next is to spread a layer of sauce onto the pizza if you wish. No you don't HAVE to have sauce, but for traditional pizza, then add a thin layer of sauce over the crust, using the back of a spoon to spread it all over the crust, leaving about half an inch to an inch of room from the edges."
"Then add about half a cup to a cup of the shredded cheese..." Fina explained as she worked her own pizza. "If you'd like to add a topping, you can choose up to three from the topping table over here. Or just leave it plain cheese is fine too. Top the whole thing off with some oregano ... this spice here, stick a toothpick in the center with the names of who worked on your pizza in the center and we'll have these pizzas baked in about 10 to 15 minutes!" And then slice them up and they could sample a little of everyone's, yes? No? Maybe? Sharing was caring!
ooc: there's a wide array of both muggle and magic toppings on a separate table near the chalkboard; feel free to be creative in what toppings you think there might be. No, there's no chocolate, Alexa, sorry! ;D There's toothpicks with little pieces of oven-resistant papers attached to them to write your names...

WOOOT time to make the actual pizza! Which meant they were pretty close to actually EATING it. That was pretty awesome. Caleb went over and took the pizza sauce and instructed and added it to his dough, spreading it around as Hadley had instructed. He added just a BIT more to his, though - he liked lots of sauce!
He then took the cheese and spread it across the top of the sauce, and now came the hard part - which TOPPINGS did he want to choose? Hmmm...
He'd wait a bit and think it over, he had to make sure it was PERFECT.

UGH.
Sophie tuned out the whole description on what salt and sugar can do for pizza. Can they just eat now?! See, this is why they needed to use magic. They could just BIPPITY BOPPITY BOO a whole pizza right in front of them. But no. They had to do everything the slow Muggle style.
At least they'd be rolling out the dough soon. Sophie liked thicker crust, so she guessed she'd be doing this with her hands. Sophie began kneading out her dough, although she'd never had any experience with this kind of thing. She finally got it to where it looked like it may be set to be made into pizza. She collected a fork and poked it into her dough a few times. She followed that up by drizzling the dough with a bit of olive oil and garlic salt.
Now she was on to spreading a layer of sauce on to the pizza. She grabbed a spoon, flipped it over, and used it to spread the sauce. She then measured out a cup of shredded cheese and spread that over the pizza, as well. WHOOOOA, why so fast, Hadley? It was getting hard to keep up now. She sprinkled on the oregano then finished things off by sticking a toothpick right in the center.
"Sophie Annabella Newell was the only one to work on this pizza," it said.

Ethan took the initiative to do this particular job because, well, he wanted to show off. Even if the Slytherin’s not a kitchen person, he knew that it was the perfect opportunity to show his partner what he can do. And just in case she wants to make another pizza with him, she’d know who to call because he’s such a good helpersous chef. Hmmkay?
Ethan followed Professor Hadley’s lead and moulded their dough to look like a proper pizza pie, and added a thin layer of tomato sauce. Next was cheese. Sprinkle. Sprinkle. Sprinkle. The Slytherin smiled at this, as he got the feeling that their pizza will turn out awesome. Andandand! Extra toppings! “Err…I’m going to get some, yeah?” Ethan said as he turned to his partner who became awfully silent. Hopefully, he’s not disappointing her at the moment.
So yes. Toppings.
Mozarella Cheese…check! Ham…check! BAACCCOOOON! Lots of those please, and check! The third year dumped the meat bits first, then topped it with a layer of mozzarella cheese and added the oregano. Droooooooool.“Hey, Josette? If you still want to add more, just go and dump it on our pizza.” He said as he placed his hands on his hips, clearly happy with their creation. Oh and the paper flags! Ethan got one and wrote his name and Josette’s and sticked it right in the middle of the 90% done pizza. He had to fight the urge to put a “♥” in between their names though.

Josette wasn't sure how it happened, but she was ending up watching him do a lot of the kneading, probably because she was a bit afraid that she might not have been really good at it, so mhmm, best to let him do it, since it looked like he had gotten the hang of it. While had been doing the kneading, she was marking down in her notes again as their progress had continued. But then she heard him speak & she lifted her head to see him walking away from their work station to grab some pizza toppings. "O-Oh, alright.."
Oh, lots of toppings there.
Not getting in his way again, she watched as he dumped a lot of different meats onto their pizza & couldn't help but count all of the different meats he'd added. It was certainly going to be quite the filling pizza she knew that. Josette looked at him as he asked her if she wanted to add anything else to their pizza & her eyes traveled to the pizza momentarily studying it. Had there been another mean they'd forgotten? OH, there was! She looked at him & suggested slowly, "I-Is pepperoni alright?" Would he mind that? Josette hoped he wouldn't as she was getting up & walking over to where Professor Hadley had the pizza toppings placed & grabbed a handful of the pepperoni.
Back at their workstation with the new meat, she took a moment to spread the pepperoni over their pizza, more so on one half, since she wasn't sure if Ethan even like pepperoni. But it definitely looked like he liked bacon, judging by the rather large amount of the meat. Next Ethan added the mozzarella & the oregano. It looked like everything was looking pretty good so far. She watched as Ethan took a second to write their names on one of those paper flags, but noticed a slight hesitation as he was writing their names though. Was he having difficulty writing her name? Should she tell him that there were two T's in her name, ya know it was a common mistake, a lot of people usually never knew that there were two T's in her name. But wait-oh, never mind he'd written it correctly.
It looked pretty delicious, she had to admit.
"...G-Good job.." She'd given a soft smile to her partner.

When Candice asked him if he could do the rolling of the dough and if she could do the next part, he nodded. That seemed fair. To him, the best way to achieve a goal was to divide the work and conquer. "Of course, I'll get started on it now," he said as he picked up the dough out of the bowl and the rolling pin at the workstastion. He began rolling at the dough. Thinner crusts were always better.

Jasmine checked the pizza dough and everything looked fine. "No, I don't see any empty spots. The dough looks properly oiled and sprinkled. You did a great job."

Turning back to Cris, Jasmine said, why don't I put the sauce on and you sprinkle the cheese and choose the toppings? After some very serious deliberation, Caleb was ready to add toppings to his pizza. He'd decided on black olives, tomatoes, and green peppers. That sounded DELICIOUS!
He gathered the ingredients and then evenly spread them out amongst the top of the cheese - almost a bit TOO evenly, taking his sweet time spreading them out to create the absolute PERFECT placement. After about ten minutes, he got one of the tiny little flags and put his name on it before heading over with his beautiful creation to the oven.
Maybe he had a future career as a pizza chef? If it didn't work out with the Auror thing, of course...

Text Cut: kneading dough

Penelope listened a little but mostly she just wanted to continue making the pizza so they could eat sooner. If only it didn't take so long for the dough to rise. Good Merlin...
And then...it was time? Already? Huh, that went a little faster than she expected...only a little though. Still felt like awhile.
Anyway.
She was gonna go for thick crust, so she quickly started kneading her dough out carefully with her hands. Definitely not gonna toss it up though considering how well that went for that Gryffindor boy over there. She'd worked hard on this pizza and wasn't gonna risk messing it up, even if there were sanitation charms and such. Better to keep it good like it was. 'Course, kneading it all out properly still took a few minutes but it was worth it once she'd finished and pricked it randomly with a fork a few times. The olive oil was carefully drizzled on next and then some garlic salt after it.
Yep, that looked pretty good so far.

Time for the sauce? Awesome! This meant they were pretty close to being done and then it had to cook and then they could eat!
Penelope was very excited.
Sauce was important to having a good pizza in her opinion, so she carefully spread it out over the dough, making sure there was a pretty even amount all over. That was also important. Next came the cheese, a whole cup of it, which she sprinkled as evenly as possible over the sauce.
And now...toppings. A limit of three, but that was fine. Penelope considered just going for a simple pepperoni pizza but...nah, she wanted more than just that. All of it looked pretty good, but she felt like she was kinda in a meat sorta mood right now, so she eyed those...and decided to grab some sausage and bacon as well. Yum.
She laid the pepperoni randomly around the pizza then dropped the bacon and sausage in random spots too until she was satisfied. Yep. Awesome. This was gonna be an awesome pizza.
Oregano was added and then stuck a toothpick in the center of it with the words "Penelope Greenwell's awesome pizza" on it.
Ready to cook now!
