Distracted, she hadn't heard Lily's question the first time and it took a moment or two to realize the girl asked anything at all. "Hm? Yes, yes, plain tomato sauce this time. But yes, you can use other kinds of sauce on pizza."

Did she just hear what she thought she heard? And from one of her own too... and not a first year. Frown. "Leah, did you not hear? No magic to clean up. Now. Clean up again - the muggle way." She sighed, flicking her wand inconspicuously as she returned the flour and dirty bowls and such to the second year's work area. She let them use one water spell and now they thought they could the cleaning spell too....

That was NOT something she expected to hear.

"Cutty, I never said I was tasting them all." No, she'd feed her husband the ones that didn't look right. She shook her head. "But no worries; Zander's fell on his head and I'm pretty sure that my immune system is one of the strongest at Hogwarts so I doubt you'll have anything to worry over. So yes, I do still want a sample, but I may or may not be tasting it." Really, it was true about the immune system; like when 90% of Hogwarts fell victim to the aging ailment, she avoided it. Though unfortunately she got caught up with the ice cream dilemma two terms prior, but since then she'd been amazingly healthy.

"I'll be fine." she insisted again, as she glanced at the time.


"Alright, pizza time!" Hmm, she should probably do this? Using the pizza peel/spatula, she carefully opened the oven and peeked in to look at it. "Mm, they smell amazing." And she laid each cooked pizza carefully on the clean work areas. They could find their own pizza - not like they weren't labeled.

"Like I said, I'll need a sample from each. And everyone is welcome to have a sample of mine..." Barbecued sausage and jelly slugs, what could be better? "You may trade slices with friends if you'd like as well, just when you're done, again, clean up."

It was time!! Pizza time!! All baked and chewy and delicious!!. At least that's what Cris hoped the verdict would be for their pizza when they pulled it out of the oven.

He walked over to where Professor Hadley had placed all the pizzas and went in search for theirs. Not like it was hard to find. Cris didn't think there would be many that had pepperoni, mushroom and pineapples on theirs.

Ahhh...there it was...and with the cute toothpick flag with their name on it. Cris picked up a plate and taking a pizza cutter, neatly sliced the pizza into pieces. Picking up a spatula, he scooped one up and laid it on the plate before handing it over to Jasmine.

"Ladies, first," he smiled at her before scooping up another slice and placed it on a plate for himself. Lastly, he picked out the nicest, most delicious slice of all and placed it on another empty plate.

That slice would be for Professor Hadley.

"Bon Appétit," he grinned over at Jasmine as he picked up his plate and bit into his slice of pizza. Cris' eyes closed in exquisite pleasure as his tongue savored the gastronomical sensation of self-made pizza. He couldn't believe how good their pizza tasted. Its crust was thicky and chewy...just the way he liked it. The mixed flavors of pepperoni, mushroom and most of all, the pineapple, gave a tropical taste to it.

"What do you think, Jasmine? Good right?" Cris turned to ask his fellow chef and girlfriend.

At last, the pizza was done. Jasmine had been tortured by the aroma that had overtaken the kitchen. She was definitely ready to taste devour their pizza. She watched as Cris went over to retrieve it from the group of pizzas. When Jasmine saw theirs she was pleased. It looked delicious. Hopefully it tasted as good as it looked. Smiling as Cris cut their masterpiece, Jasmine gladly accepted the piece that he served her. "Thank you", Jasmine said as she took the slice.

First though, she had one thing that she needed to do. Taking the Jasmine /Cris name flag, she placed it next to the Professor Hadley slice. Wouldn't want all of their effort to be for naught.

The moment of truth had come. Jasmine took a bite and allowed herself to really taste the pizza. The verdict........."I like it. It really tastes good." Continuing to eat, Jasmine nodded to herself. Turning to Cris, she said, "We make a good team Mr. Strand". She just hoped that Professor Hadley would like their pizza as much as they did.

Ohh, the pizzas were ready?!

Sophie excitedly approached her pizza and glanced down at it. It looked PERFECT, because...well, she'd made it. She set to work cutting the pizza into eight equal slices. When she was done, the pieces weren't exactly equal, but they were as close as she could get.

She set aside a piece for Hadley and put her name on it. "SOPHIE NEWELL," it read. Was Hadley going to taste every slice?

She then placed a piece of her own pizza on a plate and sat down. She took that first bite and grinned. Oh my Merlin, it was so good!

Caleb wasn't sure he wanted to try Hadley's pizza - in his opinion jelly slugs did NOT belong on a pizza, despite the fact that he LOVED them. Still, he took a piece of hers to be polite before taking his own pizza and cutting a small piece for her to sample. It was just a TEENY bit smaller than the other 7 pieces because...well, he was more concerned about HIMSELF eating it than her.

And now, the fun part - EATING TIME.

He walked back to Sophie as he took a bite into his pizza. MMMMMM. Nice and saucy, just how he liked it! "How did yours turn out? Want some of mine?" he asked, offering up his black olive, tomato and green pepper MASTERPIECE.

DING.

Ethan smiled at the sound and rushed towards the oven when Professor Hadley opened it up for them. The Slytherin had to keep his mouth shut to prevent himself from drooling, because the smell of a t least…15 pizzas overwhelmed his nose. MERLIN. Can they do this every single day?

Finally getting his turn, Ethan carefully got their cooked pizza out of the oven and smiled at it like a proud parent. “Our pizza looks aaawwwweeesssoooommmee!” he said in a sing-song voice as he approached Josette. “Merlin, this is the dream!” he quipped as he got the pizza slicer and plate from the workstation.

Slice. Slice. Slice.

The Slytherin got a slice of their pizza and placed their toothpick flag on top of it. He checked, double, even triple check the pizza slice making sure it looked presentable to the professor. There’s nothing much to plate, but he had to make sure it looked neat…and…well, edible. Beaming, he got off his stool again and approached their teacher with their creation. “GRRRREEtings, Professor Hadley! I proudly present to you Ethan and Josette’s Mighty and Meaty Pizza!” he said as he carefully placed their plate of masterpiece on her table. “Uhm…I’ll taste yours too, hmmkay?” Well, she said they can yeah? So without waiting for their professor to answer, he got himself a slice and took a bite.

Swallows.

“This…is awesome.” No, really it was. He’s got a very weird taste, even for wizard standards. “CUTTY! You should try Professor Hadley’s!” he said as he turned around and ran towards his fellow Snake / Mordaunt and almost jammed the pizza inside the boy’s mouth. They should totally make pizza reviews in the future. YuPPP.

Candice was glad that she didn't hear any comments from her partner regarding her topping choices. That mean her partner agreed with her, yes? Oh. Another compliment from Simon. GRIN. "Thanks. You too." She was really lucky to have Simon as her partner.

And now they need to clean up their workstation while waiting for their pizza. And Hadley said no magic. She looked at their workstation and its a mess. It'd take them forever to clean it. But then her AWESOME partner offered to clean their workstation. The first year gave Simon a very grateful look. She watched her partner started to clean up their mess the muggle way. He's a good cook and he can clean too? Wow. Can she keep him forever?

"Its perfect. You're amazing. Thanks Simon." BEAM.

Oh and look their pizza was ready. Candice went towards the oven to get their pizza. She was greeted by the smell of fresh baked Pizzas when Professor Hadley opened the oven for them. The Gryffindor turned her attention from the pizzas to her partner. "SIMON LOOK! Our pizza look amazing." She carefully sliced the pizza. "Hi, Professor. Here's mine and Simon's pizza." The first year gave the Muggle Professor a sample from their awesome Pizza.

Now EATING TIME...!!!!

She took a slice from their pizza.

AH THEY WERE READY! Except... Zander did not want to eat his. After the whole ceiling and head situation. Yeah. He'd pass on this one. But all the pizzas look sooooo good. Awh. He really wanted a slice.

Zander cut off a slice for Hadley, a grimaced as he stuck his flag into it. Eugh. Good luck trying to eat this thing Hadley. It won't be fun and that's a promise. He brought it up to the muggle studies Professor and put it on the table. "I hope it's not too terrible," he blushed. Ooh her pizza did look really yummy. AND there was absolutely no way that Zander would actually eat any of his...

So he scooped up a small slice of Professor Hadley's and smiled. She had said they could have a peice? "Thanks so much!" He said as he skipped back to his workplace to clean up the rest of the mess. And pizza. Ew. His nasty head pizza.

Cris waited for Jasmine to pick up her slice of pizza and bite into it. He was waiting for her verdict. He grinned from ear to ear when she agreed with his perfect 10 assessment. "We most definitely do make a good team, Ms. Guidry...most definitely," Cris winked conspiratorially at his girl friend.

Picking out the toothpick flag with both their names written on it, Cris stuck it in the middle of the slice that had been reserved for Professor Hadley.

"Here you go, Professor Hadley. Jasmine and I hope you like our recipe," Cris told his Head of House as he placed the plate of pizza on the Professor Hadley's table.

"Anyone interested in trying our Pepperoni Mushroom Pineapple Pizza? It's certifiable 5-star yummy," Cris offered the other students, proudly marketing both Jasmine and his baked masterpiece.

SWEET!! It was eating time. The thing he had been waiting for. He smelt his pizza and it smelt soo good. It had bacon, sausage and chicken. Yum yum yum yum yum. He licked his lips and was desperate to devour into it. He cut a slice into the pizza to give to his professor. He put the slice on the plate and said, "Here you go Professor.." he smiled. Then he went back and ate his pie. He kept some slices incase people wanted to share. If they dared....

Awesome their pizza was ready and he was so hungry.. He wondered if he could actually save the professor a slice.. "guess we should put a slice away for her now " he placed one to the site with their names on it and hepicked up a slice for him to eat.

Omg this was amazing.. With his mouth full he tried to say " it's so good " but he just managed to spit out a little bit of food. "ooopppps sorry" he instantly covered his mouth.

Feeling a little reassured, she smiled as he told her their pizza was going to be awesome, regardless if they had made any mistake at all. Josette perked up as he told her he'd go place their pizza in the oven for them, giving him a quick nod. That was definitely NOT a problem at all, she actually didn't think that she would've been able to have carried that pizza without dropping it. That would be rather embarrassing & she would've felt very bad for ruining their hard work.

Without even thinking, she immediately reached for a rag to begin cleaning up the moment he'd asked her. She began to sweep the extra flour into their bowl that Ethan had used to knead their creation, making sure not to get any on the floor otherwise, it'd take her even longer to clean. Within a few minutes she was soon seen wiping down their work station with a wet rag this time, making it look as clean as it had before.

OH, was it ready?!

Her big blue eyes lit up once more after that rather loud DING coming from the oven. Although she couldn't see the oven itself, she could at least see Ethan approaching the oven amongst the other students, figuring he was retrieving theirs. Josette was soon seen covering her mouth as she tried to prevent herself from laughing as she heard Ethan's sing-song voice speaking of their pizza.

Her smile grew as he brought their pizza back to their CLEAN work station. It did look amazing, especially now that it had been baked to near perfection. The second year stood out of his way as he went on to cut out a slice for Professor Hadley & brought it up her desk. Josette looked down at their pizza again waiting a brief moment as she stood there alone briefly.

Could she cut theirs to try it?

Ethan had already used the pizza slicer to cut their pizza. Would Professor Hadley be upset with the girl if she tried her own. She did remember hearing the Professor say they could trade with each other's pizzas though. But would it be alright if she could try theirs first? The smell of the cheese & all of the mixtures of meat were beginning to tease the second year's nose.

Yummy pizza. It was out of the oven and ready for them to eat. Watching Bay put a slice aside with their names on it, she hoped that they would get a good grade. No mistakes had been made as far as she knew, and her hair hadn't gotten into the dough (thank goodness). Grades weren't the most important thing though: FOOD was. delicious pepperoni pizza.

Picking up a slice, she was about to bite into it when Bay gave her a pizza shower. "Babe, say it don't spray it." It was okay though, she wasn't mad; more than anything she was amused. It just was that she would rather not wear what he had been eating. Fortunately none of it had actually landed anywhere besides the floor by her feet.

Well, Ethan couldn’t figure out CUTTY’s problem. Why won’t he eat Professor Hadley’s pizza? “Oh don’t be such a big baby!” he said as slung his arm over his cousin’s(?) shoulder. “It’s good!” he added and tried to put the pizza inside Cutty’s mouth. The Slytherin however glanced over his shoulder to see Josette waiting for him.

No, ladies and gentlemen, Ethan Tyler Mordaunt will not make Josette Edayson wait.

Why? They waited this long for the glorious food! “Listen buddy, trust me, it’s good.” Ethan said in a murmur to Cutty as he literally jammed it into his cousin’s(?) mouth. “Go over our table and sample our meaty creation.” He said as he patted Cutty’s back. “You can bring yours too if you want!” he called out as he quickly made his way towards Josie.

“Hey, hi! Sorry about that.” He said as he sat on his chair again and looked at their pizza then to Josette. Right! Of course he should serve the lady, yes? YES. Taking another plate from their workstation, he got a slice of their pizza and placed it in front of Josie. “Here you go, m’lady. Meet our Mighty Meaty Pizza.” Grinning, he got himself a slice and raised it. “Buon Appetito!” Yep, he’s going for Italian this time…not Frenchie. Mhm.

ArmmmNomnomnomnoNom.

MERLIN.

PIZZA.HEAVEN.

Just as Josie was about to reach for her own slice, she was surprised to see Ethan come back to her side. She looked at him smiling and quickly shook her head, "Oh, no it's alright.." Taking this as a cue it was time to enjoy their pizza, she was just about to reach again once more to pick out a slice, but immediately stopped herself when she saw Ethan go on to give her a slice himself. She blushed a little bit as he called her m'lady, but managed to say, "T-Thank you.."

Following Ethan's lead, she picked up her own slice & blew on it, nobody's want a burnt tongue. Then, chomp. Her eyes lit up as she began to chew with some more enthusiasm. With a mouth full of pizza, she nudged Ethan & said a bit eagerly, "I-It's delicious.."

This was a really good pizza.

Sweet Merlin. She could eat his pizza. Professor Hadley could eat his cabeza de turco potion-pizza. O____O


Maybe Professor Hadley was an emotional eater and if she did eat a slice, she wouldn't know the difference.


Hehehehe. Emotional eaters.


Once his pizza was out of the oven, Cutty sliced it up, though it was a bit uneven and not at all handsomely done. He saved a less attractive one for the teacher that she may be less tempted. He stuck the sauce-encrusted pin with his name on oneside and the words 'Help Yourself' on the other into his sample slice, placed it onto a plate and set it aside. Maybe it would even garner him pity points.

Then Ethan occurred.



The pizza crash landed into Cutty's chin and the ill-mannered Slytherin grumbled and reached for a towel with which to wipe his face. He removed the apron he'd been wearing as he wiped before taking the pizza. He took a mouthful and chewed whilst his eyes gazed toward the ceiling in thought.

"It's chewy...like octopus. And,..." He had to think about how to say the next part. "There's a sweetness that sort of goes with the sausage...cause it's salty."

"You know, you really shouldn't run with food. But since you're over here you might want to try a slice of mine. It's not as exotic, but I was going for simple flavour with exquisite texture." He suggested sliding his pizza over toward his self-determined cousin.

He looked over at the little Ravenclaw girl with whom Ethan had made his pizza. "I'm Cutty Mordaunt." And you can't have any of my pizza. He decided against saying this outloud as he introduced himself with a smile to the girl. It might only serve to make her want to try it. Besides Ethan would think him rude and he saw the way his dormmate was looking at her. Politeness was worth more at this point.

Does anyone want to try my pizza?

At the last minute, Lily had remembered that they’d been instructed to get plates along with cleaning their stations. As such, she’d been halfway back to her station with a couple plates when suddenly she’d heard Professor Hadley speaking. Not only that, but answering the question she’d asked a while earlier and already dismissed as unimportant in her eyes. She’d blinked, but continued on her way back to her station quietly. At least anyone who might not have known that before now was informed. She’d contributed knowledge, and that made her feel better. Plus, the scent of all the pizzas baking was getting awfully tempting, and she’d started getting a bit impatient for the cooking time to be up.

Soon enough, however, the professor had spoken again, not answering questions or scolding people for using spells to clean but to announce their pizzas were finally ready. Music to her ears, really. At least, as long as her own pizza had turned out okay, but then once it had been pulled out of the oven and set down on the counter her hopes had sparked again. It smelled like it had turned out okay. Walking over, she located a pizza cutter and sliced her pizza into neat triangles, sliding one onto a plate for the professor and shifting the nametag flag to the slice. Then she had slid another onto a plate for herself, letting it cool a little while she went and delivered the other plate to Professor Hadley. She kind of hoped that she would eat it herself and not feed it to a stranger, just in case it didn’t actually taste as good as it looked. At least the ham and pineapple toppings should taste fine. She just wasn’t entirely confident her dough had turned out perfectly.

All that was left was to go back and taste it herself, and she’d done so just as quietly. Mm, she thought, as she took the first bite. It seemed like it really had turned out okay to her, or at least it tasted just as good as the pizzas she’d had back home. Maybe she’d found another skill.

Pizza time! Adi was pleased about that because he was getting hungry. Finding his pizza, he cut a piece for his Head of House first. He couldn't help but be proud of his work. It looked and smelt great! He couldn't wait to try it. The Hufflepuff headed over to Hadley and held out the plate. "Here you go, Professor. Enjoy.'' He was quite confident his pizza tasted well.

Returning to his pizza, he cut the remainder and stacked them on another plate. The last bit, Adi bit into. Mhmm. This was good! He could proudly say he made his own pizza now. Grabbing his plate, he made his way over to Benny and Angel. "Special delivery for you two.'' He shoved the plate towards his bestie and his girlfriend first year friend. "Go on. Try it.''

"Cris, Jasmine,'' Adi said walking over to the duo. "It would be my honour if you would sample my pizza.'' Hehe. He held out the plate.

"AJ!'' Adi poked the girl. He set the plate down next to her. "Try this. And can I try yours? I bet it doesn't even come close to tasting as good as mine.'' He gave her an innocent grin.

Her tummy was glad that it was finally time to taste the pizzas they had made. The delicious smelling aroma was making her mouth water, and tummy rumble. She watched as Hadley took out every last one and AJ walked over and found here.

She sliced her pizza carefully and left one to be graded with her named attached to it. Deciding that she would let her sister taste she walked over and gave one to Angel. Considering that it would be rude not to give Benny a piece, AJ laid one down in front of him too. "Here's my masterpiece."

AJ walked over to her area and smiled as Adi's poking caught her attention. "Looks yummy." Taking another piece of her slice she handed it over to her hufflepuff friend. "Of course you can." She ALMOST told him that she added way too much sugar on accident, but decided to let him figure that out all by himself. "I'll be the judge of that." Judging pizza taste was something that she could handle.

Cris was eating his second slice of their handmade pizza when Adi came over with his. "Hey thanks, Adi. I will most definitely take a slice. Would you like to sample ours? It's an almost Hawaiian Pizza," Picking up the spatula, Cris scooped up a slice that both Jasmine and he had made and offered it to Adi.

"I'm on my second slice right now, and so far, no bad tummy aches," he winked conspiratorially at his young Badger friend.

Sophie glanced up from her pizza eating when she saw Caleb approaching her. Swallowing, she said, "It's perfect." Of course she would say something she made was perfect. No less than perfection over here! "Want to try?" She picked up a slice of her own and put it on his plate.

She accepted the pizza from him. "Ewww, black olives," she said, making a face. There were only a few on the piece she had, so she picked them off and put them on her plate. Then she took a bite of the pizza. "Hmm..." She took another bite. "It's good, Caleb. Who would have thought that you and I could cook?"

No getting any ideas, though, Mom and Dad. Sophie was SO not taking kitchen duties when summer holidays rolled around.

So, the pizza's were officially done, then. Good. Tag watched as Hadley had gotten them all out. Thanks, because getting stuff out of the oven always scared Tag into thinking he'd burn himself or something. He obviously didn't want that happening. The blonde went up to the counter and found a pizza cutter thingy ma-jig and cut the pizza into nice slices, or the best he could. It was a bit hard to do after all, the pizza cutter getting jammed every few seconds, but, after working on it, the cutter seemed to slice right through. Hmm.

Anyway, Tag placed one slice on a plate, with his little toothpick flag attached to the crust so that it poked up, and placed it near wherever Professor Hadley was. Hopefully it tasted well. He gave her a small smile before grabbing his own pizza onto a plate and returning to his work station to clean up.

Eh, he'd clean up all his pots and dishes and utensils by hand. It wasn't much trouble. He simply got some soap, moved it all over the dirty equipment Tag had used minutes ago and rinsed it underwater. It took him mostly five to ten minutes or so but he was done.

First, though, before trying his pizza, Tag glanced around the kitchen just to peek at other people's attempts. His eyes hovered here and there then caught onto something, that made him feel uneasy. He had to grit his teeth, even shook his head. Ouch. Was all of that really necessary? It really wasn't. The whole class had gone fine, until you know, they walked into the kitchen and someone hadn't even bothered to ask to work with Tag. And now he knew why. So she could flirt. With a slytherin, like always.

Yep, Tag didn't want his pizza anymore, it didn't appeal to him because of reasons. Could they leave the class now or did they have to wait?

And then the pizzas were all done.

Benny watching as Professor Hadley got them all out of the over one by one, setting them out all together for them to take. With easy labels it was no trouble finding theirs when he went to retrieve it for dishing it out. It didn't look exactly unappetizing and it smelled good. Except the real question was...did he want to taste it? Did Hadley want to taste it?

Did anyone?

"Here it is..." he mused, setting it down at their workstation in front of Angel. Taking up a cutter, the third year proceeded to divide up the slices at the appropriate points. It was then that Adi had appeared in front of them offering a slice of his own pizza. "Thanks," Ben said, accepting the offering. He then tentatively offered his best friend a slice of the sweet and spicy fish pizza they had made.

"A slice for a slice." Though it might be an unfair trade. He then placed one aside with their name tag for Hadley's benefit and laid two out for him and Angel.

Angel smiled as her sister offered her a slice of her Pizza. "Thanks Sis." Angel waited for Benny to get there's before offering her sister one of theirs. "Here you go Sis, a slice of the Sweet and Spicy Fish Pizza just for you." Angel beamed thinking this might not be a fair trade, she probably should have put something else on. Well her sister did know what she was like.

Now

Did she want to try this first? it was her Pizza after all.

"Gentlemen first Benny!" Angel beamed at her cutie-pie, he would take one for the team right and if he died then at least he knew he was saving a friend. She wondered if Professor would want one but then she saw that Benny had already laid one out for her. Now would Benny chicken out or not, this was totally like Man V Food.
