Angel started to pat down on the Dough until it was thinning out. "I think I'll let you do the rest Benny don't want to ruin it." Angel was totally scared that she would mess it up, it's like how did the Professor think up of such a cruel punishment for a lesson. |
"I forgot about the vampires." Yup, garlic totally worked on them too. If all else failed you could eat the garlic and then breathe on them. She listened to the professor go over everything and her eyes lingered on the topping buffet. Yum. She could only pick three? What a tough choice. AJ was satisfied with her thick crust so she spread on a thick layer of sauce. She wanted it to be able to ooze out once you took a bit. Lots of cheese was added too because that was important. Deciding on pepperoni, beef, and ham she generously added on the toppings. Her mouth was watering and ten minutes seemed like a century. All done. AJ made a note of her name, and solely her name. |
Grayson ^^ Lottie heard the cry of help from her bestie, but Hadley took care of her, didn't she? At any rate, she could still help out if needed. Next time Lottie was making something for Lex, she'll make the Gryffindor Prefect help as well, then she wouldn't be so incredibly lost. At least she was excellent with hexes, and that mattered more than knowing how to make a pizza, you know? Especially in the wizarding world. Man, that whole explanation was so incredibly tiring, she wondered if anyone actually paid attention. Right now, she was thinking about whether she wanted her pizza, sorry, her and Grayson's, to be thin or thick. Quite frankly, she had no true preference, but she didn't like it too thick anyway, so, before Grayson could do anything about it, she took the dough and placed it on the stone before starting to roll it into a neat circle very gently. As gentle as possible so it wouldn't be too thin or too thick. Hey, Lottie was being fair. She would at least let him pick other toppings to place on his part of the pizza. Once it was perfect, she used the fork and pricked it on several places, then moved over to adding some olive oil and that garlic salt Hadley instructed. Yup. So, the Slytherin could add some sauce, the cheese, and the toppings of his preference, on his part, and... well, that was by far the easiest task ever. It would've belonged to Lex. "Go on, Grayson Whitlock." She said, gesturing to the pizza. |

JEEZ. And new girl had taken over. Now that the Slytherin was complaining because HELLO, look at the girl go! "Have you done this before?" he asked, staring at the way she was kneading the dough out. Not too thick and not too thin sounded just about right to him. Uh huh. Didn't want one that broke too easily, anyways. Sooooo he let her continue. And he was busy looking great, thank you. Which toppings? "Pepperoni works for me too. Let's just cover the thing with that." Nod. "And mushrooms, too, because they're great. And extra cheese!" Because why not? Here's hoping that the girl liked mushrooms too. And why was she talking in fractions? This wasn't an Arithmancy lesson. Keep the maths away, thank you. When it was his turn, the boy smirked slightly and rolled up his sleeves. This was dead simple, it was. Taking some sauce, he added it to the centre of the pizza before grabbing a spoon and giving it a quick clean. Using the back of the utensil, Grayson started spreading the sauce arouuuuuuund the pizza. Around........... ............ round............. ............. right round............ "You spiiiiiiin my heaaaaaaaaad right round, right round," Still spreading the sauce around, he was. "When you gooooooo down, when you go down, down." Cue some hip wiggling too. The girl had definitely been in for a treat. Still humming a little something something, the Slytherin set the spoon down, grabbed the cup of shredded cheese and added half of it to the top of the pizza. Some more could be added later too, of course. And then there was the pepperoni! He added quite a bit of those to the pizza, too, because the more the better. And if Lex messed hers up, she'd have some too. Maybe. If he felt nice. Andddddddddd how did the new girl feel about mushrooms? HMMMMM? |
Finally they were getting to the good part. Toppings! But first Adi spread sauce on his crust. Yep, he loved sauce. That was followed up by the have a cup of shredded cheese. Now for his topping choices. First up was pineapple, one of Adi's favourite toppings. He dropped lots of pieces around the crust. Next went bacon. Lots of that too! Those two would do. Finally, the Hufflepuff sprinkled oregano over the entire pizza. The toothpick with his name was stuck in the center. All set for the oven. |
Grayson being attacked! Ok. Good. Tag didn't have to roll it out. He was usually pretty bad at that part, always rolling out the ingredient too thin. So he did just what Hadley had said. Once he thought his dough was good and ready he got his spoon and threw the sauce all over the dough, spreading it out evenly with the back of it. Eventually he figured the sauce was well enough so he started adding the toppings. Starting with that half a cup of cheese that he sprinkled everywhere. Actually that's all he was gonna have. He didn't feel like adding anything else so he put even more cheese so it could be extra good. Then finished it off with that oregano. An that toothpick with his name. The blonde every now and then looked up and saw that Lottie was working with that slytherin idiot. Not only was he an idiot in general, he was acting even more of an idiot and being annoying and obnoxious. See, this is why Lottie should've worked with her favorite gryffindors. Not sorry. Seriously, the guy was annoying. Sooooo Tag got a couple of black olives and tossed them at the back of his head. That should shut him up. Honestly. Anyway, could they put it in the oven themselves or were they going to have to wait? Nope. Tag wasn't going to wait, he went over to the oven and carefully placed his pizza inside it. |
Text Cut: LOL! Carefully watching Lex, just in case. It better work, because Grayson had given up his dough for her. Not that it mattered to Lottie, really, but still. Seriously, Mr. Whitlock? Lottie smiled, "Several times," and added a wink because WHY NOT, right? It was entirely and completely the TRUTH, now the wink was a bit unnecessary but, you know, there's a certain something about Slytherins that make it all so casual. Except Theodore Kinsley. "Excellent!" See, they were getting along so well, except... yo, how about NO? Yes to extra cheese, but no to mushrooms. "No mushrooms. On my side, anyway. Extra cheese is fine." Nod, nod, nod. Didn't matter that she sounded a bit bossy, aaaaactually, because she wanted no mushrooms. She still gave him an encouraging smile. So, she was watching him spread the sauce around, and at one point actually guided his hand with her own, sorry, it has to be perfect. Until... ...well, that was interesting. VERY INTERESTING. Oh, sweet Merlin. She started to laugh. Clearly, that was the best possible reaction, because... WHAT EVEN? That was not exactly appropriate. She would have joined in the singing, but she only sang with two people, and no, Grayson, you're not one of those two. That didn't mean she couldn't hum along with him, though. So, she did that. And added a biiiit more of cheese just because. Her smile still in place as she shook her head. Unbelievable. He could've chosen any other song. But nooooo. Also, nooooo mushrooms, remember that. And no olives either. Where did those olives come from, by the way? The ones that almost hit her??? Thank you, for that, but we don't want anyone else's toppings. |
It was onto kneading the dough. Once his dough was all set, he wanted to make a thin crust. So he got a pizza stone and placed his dough on the stone and got his rolling pin. Then he flattened the dough and started rolling it on. Then he got his fork out and started to make little indents in it. Apparently it was supposed to help the dough. He shrugged and then he needed to add olive oil, garlic and salt. She wondered why they needed to drizzle it and he answered it before. It was to make the pizza dough have it's golden color. Now onto adding the sauce! He grinned and got his sauce and began to spread it lightly. He got a spoon to help him spread it evenly. He left an half an inch amount of room around the edges as he would told. Now to add on the cheese! He got his cup of shredded cheese and sprinkled it on. Then he could add more toppings! He smirked and got sausage on there, then he added bacon and chicken! He was sure gonna eat his pizza well. He topped the whole thing with oregano and was done. He got a toothpick and wrote his name on it to let the class knew it was his! |
..Finally the last step.. Lucy added the sauce on her crust and the oregano over the entire pizza. No cheese, no toppings.. this was the pizza she loved and whom she called "Marinara".. |
okay now was time for Bay to roll out the dough. Rolling up his sleeves he worked out the dough and he started to knead the dough.. Looking over at Lux he said "wow.. how do the muggles do this like all the time.. its so tough" he said as he kept on doing it. knead… knead…knead… when he thought it was done enough Bay hand pressed the dough in a circle as he was done his part "all yours.. what does it say to do next" |
It was like Bay was reading her mind when he started putting his muscles to work kneading out the dough. Soon enough they had their crust laid out in a perfect pizza shape. "Awesome job, honey. Now we just need to add the sauce and a few other things." Using a spoon, she spread the pizza sauce over the crust, making sure that she left about half an inch from the edges. A cup of cheese was placed on top of that, spread out as evenly as possible. Lux wanted their pizza to be as perfect as possible. "Wanna take it from here?" |
Quote:
Rubbing his hands "don't mind if i do" he said as he put on the rest of the toppings. Bay sprinkled some oregano and then he put on some pepperoni.. he hoped that Lux wouldn't mind such a plain pizza of cheese and pepperoni but it was his favourite. After he had finished putting on the toppings he grabbed the toothpick with their names on it (attached with a piece of parchment) he put it in the middle of it.. Looking over at Lux again "I think thats all we need to do?" he was hoping.. because he really wanted to eat this bad boy.. grumble….grumble his stomach started to growl. |
SPOILER!!: Angel Benny wasn't too choosy on the type of crust they made or even possible reasoning behind one's choice. "Thin it is," he agreed with a nod, letting Angel do the kneeding so she was satisfied with the thickness. The first year was doing a good job but he wasn't going to push when she handed the rest of the tasks back to him. "Alright," the third year remarked as he picked up the fork and proceeded to prick the dough with it , scattering the hits randomly around. Then he picked up the olive oil and gingerly drizzled it in ribbons all over the dough before sprinkling the garlic salt next as directed. It was certainly going to be a flavorful dough and by extension a flavorful pizza once it was all cooked. And they hadn't even added the toppings and cheese yet. Which they did soon enough. Benny took the initiative to add the sauce, Any pizza that he had ever had had sauce so he went with what he was comfortable. This was followed by a half of a cup of the cheese which he paid careful attention to measure. There was a point in dividing it...right? "How about you pick the three toppings," he suggested to Angel, giving her a task she could certainly do without trouble. |
Cris SPOILER!!: Cris "Of course it looks edible, and I can't wait to taste it", Jasmine replied. When Cris finished putting the toppings on the pizza, she grabbed the container of oregano and sprinkled some on top as instructed. "I think it might have been better to put the oregano under the cheese, but oh well.......too late now," Jasmine picked up a toothpick with a little piece if paper attached and wrote her name on it. Then she handed it to Cris and said, "Your autograph sir". "Would you like the honor of putting our name flag on our pizza and putting it in the oven?" Jasmine looked at their creation with satisfaction. She thought she and Cris made a great team. Now she couldn't wait to finish the pizza and get a chance to eat it. |
Jasmine SPOILER!!: Jasmine "Oregano? Oh yeah, Oregano," Cris stepped aside to allow Jasmine room to work on sprinkling the Oregano on their pizza dough. Did everyone have Oregano on their pizza? Ooops....my bad. Grinning at the suggestion of labeling their pizza, Cris took his turn to write his name on the piece of paper, before sticking it on the pizza. In the oven, they were supposed to put it in now? "I'd be happy too. Okay bye bye baby, we'll see you in awhile," Cris jokingly told their creation, as he picked up the pizza pan and stood ready to push the pizza pan into the oven. ....anytime now, Professor. |
SPOILER!!: Josie Did Josette just…added…PEPPERONI ON THEIR PIZZA??? Ethan gave his partner the best smile he could ever muster. Why didn’t he think of that? Those little devils added spice and whatnot to their pie. Mhhhhhm. She was definitely getting his stamp of approval. Well, she already did days ago. Yup. Ethan chuckled and picked out some of the pepperoni on her side and placed it on his. He likes, pepperoni…but nothing beats bacon! Yupyup! “I can’t wait to eat this!” The Slytherin said as he grinned at Josette. He even held his hand up for her to high five. “Good job, partner.” “MERLIN. She’s the cutest—OhstopitnowMordaunt! Get a grip!” |
catching up So salt had a chemical purpose. It was nice to know and she couldn't wait until she shoved it in her aunts' faces. JUST because she wasn't part of the older group it didn't mean she couldn't handle the in depth stuff. Beverly could bet a hundred Galleons she was smarter than Peyton AND Yvanna put together. Pfft. For now, it was time to FINALLY roll the dough. Of course she was going to go with the thicker crust option, and that's exactly was she was going to do next. Hopefully all the talking ceased and they could work on their pizza. It was an art of sorts. An art of food. Yeah, that sounded about right. Kneading the dough and working the edges out for that thicker crust, Beverly grabbed a fork and gently poked the dough several times. She made sure to not make any huge gaping holes. It'd be terribly if the pepperoni ended up falling through, though that was a silly idea. Beverly was clever, not stupid. Once the dough resemble a circle it was drizzled with olive oil and garlic salt. The Slytherin was taking this art seriously. It HAD to be perfection. How embarrassing would it be to have made a foul pizza? That would be blasphemy in the girl's book. The seasoning was followed by a layer of sauce and half a cup of cheese, then a bit of oregano, and last but not least, pepperoni. Extra pepperoni. Toothpick in the center, one name and one name only: Beverly Wayne. She ALMOST added 'Do not touch' but decided against it. She'd simply snap at whomever attempted to devour her pizza. ^_^ |
SPOILER!!: Professor Hadley Yes, Leah had decided on making a traditional pizza. Picking up a spoon, she spread a thin layer of sauce over the crust, leaving some space from the edges. Then taking a cup of shredded cheese, she added it to her pizza. The second year absolutely loved cheese. After some debate, Leah started to add her toppings (ham+mushroom). She gathered the ingredients and then spread them out amongst the top of the cheese carelessly, spilling some ingredients in the process. There was also this oregano thing that Leah needed to add, and she topped the pizza off with it. Stepping back to look at her creation, the girl sighed happily and headed off to find a toothpick and wrote her name on it. Leah Abbott. Her name was stuck on a toothpick in the center of her pizza! She could not wait to share it with her classmates... if it did not taste horrible. |
Her pizza dough was all set, but Lily had felt like she still had to wait until they had been instructed to continue. She just hoped that all the olive oil didn’t soak into the crust before then, but luckily it seemed like she wasn’t going to have to wait quite as long as they’d needed to for the dough to rise. What seemed like only moments after she’d finished sprinkling the garlic salt onto her crust, Professor Hadley had spoken again, discussing the existence of pizzas without sauce and various other little sets of instructions. Nothing had really come as a surprise. They had to add sauce, cheese and toppings, plus a nametag. Aside from the nametag part, it was all logical when she imagined people made pizzas, and the nametag made sense when they were going to have to identify which pizza was theirs. “We’re using regular tomato sauce this time?,” she asked, raising her hand. “Some pizzas use other kinds of sauce, don’t they?” She thought she remembered some that used pesto, or white sauce. Basic sauce was fine for what she had planned, though. She’d glanced over toward the spread of toppings as they had been pointed out, and her plan was set already. Hawaiian pizza, definitely. That was always good, but first, she spooned a liberal amount of sauce onto her crust, spreading it so it made a neat circle about three-quarters of an inch smaller than her crust itself, then she added enough cheese so that most of the sauce was covered. Cheese was always good on pizza. Heading over to the toppings, she picked up ham and pineapple, along with one of the little flags, and then returned to her workstation to scatter the two across the layer of cheese. She tried making sure that every bite would have some of each flavor in it. Otherwise half of it would just be plain cheese pizza, which, while that was alright, it wasn’t her goal. After the toppings were on, she wrote her name onto the flag and used the toothpick to stand it in the center of her pizza. Now it was ready to be baked. |
Quote:
Oh, wait... He was actually perfectly fine with the extra addition, in fact he was actually adding pepperoni to the other half of the pizza as well. Josette smiled and nodded in agreement, "I-It does look good.." Wonder what it would look like after it had finished baking in the oven. She watched as he lifted his hand for....OH a high five. Slowly lifting her hand to give him a soft high five. "I-I didn't blow anything up..." ....Not yet at least. |
So the only thing Sophie had left to do was add the toppings to her pizza. She'd already added her name to her pizza by toothpicking in a little flag. She left it where it was and headed for the toppings table. Hmm...what kind of toppings did she want? In the end, she went with ham and bacon. She'd already put sauce and cheese on her pizza, so that was taken care of. She carefully walked back to her pizza with the toppings on a little plate. Then she set to work spreading them out evenly on the top of the pizza. No need to have one side full of one topping and missing out on the other. She'd only be hurting herself in the long run. She just hoped they didn't have to trade pizzas, and she got to enjoy her own yummy creation. |
The rolling pin he'd chosen was whacked against his palm several times in slow succession. Like a bobby with his baton eager to get on with a beating. But a beating never came as Cutty rolled out his dough, pressing and pushing it outways with no more or less pressure than was needed to do so. It was actually starting to smell like pizza dough to him. An interesting change from the sour, salty smell it was putting out beforehand. That and it was starting to mingle with the garlic. Cutty liked garlic. Not as much as pickle juice, but it was definitely up there. He took a fork to his pizza leaving little rows of pock marks here and there, which was followed by a the light spreading of some olive oil and a light sprinkling of the garlic salt. Cutty watched, mesmerized by the way the pizza sauce spread onto the pizza. It got almost everywhere and this gave him ideas. He looked momentarily from table to table to see if anyone was watching as he discreetly reached into his pocket and pulled out the assignment Professor Culloden had assigned them. Within the confines of his pocket, Cutty tilted the phial's contents onto his fingertips, then pretending it was nothing more than water spread it onto his pizza. Whosoever shall eat the crust... . He followed up nonchalantly with the pizza sauce after re-corking the phial in his pocket. He wasn't positive it would work, in fact it was quite a possibility that exposing it to the heat of cooking could neutralize the effects and he'd be left with just a normal pizza, but his experimental nature got the better of him. With that in mind, he moved on to the ingredients. Cutty watched the other students to see what they chose. This would be important in phase two. His own finicky and exotic tastes were put aside as he chose pepperoni, sausage and a generous helping of cheese. He figured he could probably tempt a man with this. Once done, Cutty washed his hands and created a small flag for the toothpick. On it, he wrote: Cutty Mordaunt. Help yourself. |
Angel knew what she was going to add onto her Pizza, she put on some chilli peppers, followed by some pineapples and then for the final topping she added some anchovies. Angel giggled as she looked at Benny. "Now that's what I call a Flaming Hot Pizza Surprise!" Angel wondered what it would be like to eat, she hoped that Benny would do the rest she couldn't remember what else she needed to do now that she had added the topping. |
Quote:
It seemed it would be a spicy pizza, the chili peppers going first. Though the pineapple would help cool it down with a touch of sweetness. So far it wasn't TOO bad. However he had to fight to make a face when the anchovies were added as the final touch. "Yum...interesting" he managed to get out, not wanting to make Angel feel bad. "So okay...final steps." The older boy adding the oregano that had been made available. This Benny added on top of everything before retrieving a toothpick and the fireproof paper on which he scribbled both their names. Josephina watched as they prepared their pizzas with care. Though she was slightly nervous in regards to sampling them ... perhaps she'd arrange to get the samples home and make Addison play victim to them. Though she had to admit she was a bit surprised by the amount of students - namely everyone - who selected muggle toppings as opposed to the magic toppings present such as barbecued sausage and lemondrops and jelly slugs. Students wasted no hesitancy in considering muggle studies to be a waste of time when they could do magic, yet one hundred percent of students chose muggle toppings. Ironic. Smiling in self-amusement, she pulled the oven door(s) open. "Alright, carefully use the large pizza spatula to put your pizza into the oven. We have about ten to fifteen minutes so let's do two things; first, let's clean up our work areas and second, get some plates. Before you consume your pizza, I must ask that you cut me a small slice from your pie and leave the names of those who worked on it next to it, as I will need it for part of your participation grades today." You know, depending on how well they came out and all. It wouldn't be a fail, of course, if it tasted horrible, but she did still need to assess the quality. ooc: put your pizzas in the oven. clean up your workstations. we'll eat in about 4-4.5 hours and then wrap this baby up =) |
