Angel quickly drank her potion and felt like popeye. "I'm Angel the builder woman, I'm strong to the finish because I drank my potion, I'm Angel the builder woman." Angel wondered if she looked like Popeye. "Hey Professor, nice day where having right." Angel finally decided to speak to him. "Okay where am I needed?" Angel was totally lost at the minute and wished someone would direct her where to go.

Draw and building stuffs? "That's cool!" Willy gonna build stuffs too, someday. "I don't know but I hope he does." Because that way she could see her brother more often. But knowing her brother, he probably prefer to work somewhere else. "I'm Candice. First Year Gryffindor." Then she saw another students arriving and Kyroh was among them. The Ravenclaw got a wave back.

The Professor started to explain to them what they need to do today. Drink their potion? Check. Groups? They're divided into three groups? Okay then, lets do this. The stone carriers and fire-pit makers sound fun, so the first year decided to join the first group.

Candice walked towards where the stone carries and fire-pit makers were gathering. "Hi, I'm Candice. I could help you carry the stones." She didn't know how to make fire-pit but if they want her to do that, no problemo. And hello cute older Slytherin dude (Grayson). Twirls hair.

Angel decided that she would help the people carry the planks, because that was where her best friend was and her sister was and maybe she could even prank her bestie somehow.

"Bestie, the plank you are carrying is a bit small to build with." Angel giggled as she looked at her bestie. "Surely you can carry a bigger on than that, it's like a twig." Angel grabbed hold of a plank and decided to show Leah how you were supposed to carry things because it seemed Leah didn't know obviously.

"Oh Aubrey!" Angel shouted to her sister. "grabs this end." Angel had a great idea. "We should do the to me to you thing." Angel giggled as she thought about how cool it would be.

Leah was swinging the plank around and around now. Then she sensed someone approaching from behind and shrieked, pausing the swinging at once. People could get hurt, no matter how strong they were right now. And getting hit by this plank was very painful in real life.

"Hello Angel. You should look out a bit." the second year said worriedly. Then she squinted her eyes. "Yeah, I can carry a bigger one." Leah bent down and picked up a plank as thick as herself and held it with one hand, the 'twig-like' on in the other.

"Ah, your sister." Leah turned to the other Gryffindor firstie. "Hi Aubrey, or AJ if you prefer it. I believe we have met before." It was a short meeting on the train platform. The girl did not blame the younger girl if she forgot about that. "I'm Leah. Angel's best friend." she winked. "Angel has mentioned you a lot, you know."

Toby................ was being remarkably quiet, not really wanting to draw any attention to himself today for some reason. He'd gravitated towards the building group, because it seemed pretty hands on and like he could be kept busy. So there he was, by the porch-builders, having followed Culloden with everyone else, vial of potion in his hand.

But he had a problem.

"Uh, Professor," Tobias spoke up, dodging around people so he could reach the Potions Master up at the front of the group. When he was close enough, he lowered his voice so hopefully only Culloden could hear him. "I don't know if I can drink this potion. It has, uhh, animal in it, and I don't eat... them." Awks. "Could I... maybe try this activity without the potion? And then you could test it later to make sure it works?"

He looked hopefully up at the Professor, though if he was honest, he wasn't sure that this was going to work as a suggestion. He wasn't going to do very well at his OWLs or NEWTs if he couldn't test his own potions, was he?

Okay, they were starting to get a really big group now which was totally awesome so far there was, Cris, Lux, Jas, Adi, a girl named Sophie and now a hufflepuff boy "Hi Sophie, I'm Bay…" he said as he also gave the new hufflepuff kid a nod. Laughing at Lux's comment he pulled out a piece of parchment and started to draw a basic porch on the ground because there wasn't to many other places where he could do it.



"Now we can just build it around his door and put some screen walls up so he can come out and enjoy the weather even if its raining and we can build a screen door here." he pointed his finger at his drawing. Looking up "so what do you all think?" it was a team build so everyone should totally vote on it.

Did someone say sword fight? AJ wanted apart of that, and she was sure that she could take on anybody, even the older kids. Buuut, introductions were being made and she needed to put faces with names. The older girl was Elodie. "Hey Elodie." She seemed nice, in fact they all seemed nice. AJ recognized Arista of course. She was her adventure buddy. "Hello Sophie B." Apparently there was more than one Sophie and Brown seemed too long to say all the time. She should give the girl a cool nickname like Sobe. Maybe next time.

A few more familiar faces came to them. "Hey sis." The girl that came with her seemed familiar, but she was having a hard time placing her. Then she said the train platform and she remembered meeting the girl there. The sad one right? Maybe she was still getting her confused. "Hey Leah, I remember, and yes please call me AJ." Kind of sorta in a way. "All good things I hope." Now that she had practically met everybody except the sword fighter kid, she could get right to work.

Angel brought up a fun thing to do with the planks, but first she wanted to get on that sword fight. Mmmhmm. The first year grabbed two planks in each hand and charged the group. "Arrrrrgh!" The planks were flailing about in her hand and all she needed to do was to make contact with someone else's planks.

Someone was complimenting her on her STELLAR plank carrying skills? Maddie BEAMED and looked over to find a CLAW! HI CLAW! And ACCORDING to the older person who had joined them, THAT claw was SOPHIE! "Thank you, Sophie." YUP. Now MADDIE knew HER name too!

This whole carrying ONE plank thing was almost TOO easy and as MORE people joined their group, the first year wondered if they should have a plank carrying COMPETITION! Winner got a sticker! As long as Kyroh let her borrow a sticker indefinitely. That would be FUN and competition might inspire them to work FASTER and the FASTER they worked, the SOONER they got to see the addition thinger done! MHM!

Introductions, though? Maddie should really get on that and so she PAUSED in her planking duties to point to herself. "Maddie OR Coop. First year Claw." Reporting for duty and stuff. Welcome to the group. Get to work. All that jazz. YUP.

Picking up TWO planks this time, Maddie headed BACK towards the builder people but was stopped by Skateboard boy challenging them to a PLANKING DUEL! Her eyes lit up a little and she stopped behind him, setting her planks down QUIETLY and inching forward. She was GOING to pick him up and show her SUPER strength but before she COULD, someone was charging them! WHAT?

The twelve year old's eyes widened and she quickly picked up HER two planks so the charging girl didn't trip or anything cause THAT might hurt, OUCH.

"Maybe a plank carrying competition would be safer." MAYBE. But while they were fighting, "Get 'em, Sophie person!" Eagles stuck together...right?

Sophie blinked as one of the students, an older Hufflepuff, knew her by name. He must have heard it in class or something. "Hey, Cris," she said, greeting him, as well. Good. There was no plan yet. This meant Sophie didn't have to play catch up and would be able to better follow along with something she'd helped plan.

Sophie had seen Cris pick up a plank and decided to try the same. "I want to see if my potion even worked first," she said. Because that would be bad if it didn't. She walked over to the nearest plank and wrapped both hands around it. Then with a mental count to three, she picked it up. "Whoaaa. Cool," she mumbled.

She put down the plank then turned to the rest of the group. "Hey, Adi," she said with a smile. Sophie really liked Adi. He was a cool guy. She felt bad for not having talked with him yet. "We should catch up sometime."

Sophie passed a look toward Lux, Jasmine, and Bay. "It's cool to meet you," she said to them. Then there was Toby, who was with them but asking not to take his potion. They could always use a brainstormer if that was okay with the professor.

Then that guy named Bay apparently had a plan. Sophie looked it over. "Those are good dimensions and stuff," she said. "I think we should also try to figure out what the Groundskeeper likes. Does anybody know anything about him other than the fact he's really big and tends to the grounds?" Because that was all Sophie knew about him.

Cris waited for everyone to introduce themselves and smiled when he saw another Hufflepuff come over to join him. Cris recognized him from Potions and Herbology class. "Hi I'm Cris, you're Toby, right?" Cris smiled in greeting.

Then he heard what Toby asked Professor Culloden, and Cris immediately empathized with him. Being either a vegetarian or vegan, it would have been hard for Toby to consume potion that had animal content in it. Fortunately, there were a few that didn't.

"Toby, if the Professor says you don't need to drink the potion, you could work with me. I'll do the carrying and maybe you could do the putting together, like hammering or gluing it together," Cris suggested to Toby. Yes they could still use his help, with out without super strength.

Then Cris turned to Bay and Sophie as he joined everyone to look at the plans Bay had drawn.

"That's a great idea, Bay. These look great," Cris complimented Bay as he studied the plans.

Then he turned to Sophie. He shrugged, shaking her head in response to her question. "I don't really know the Groundskeeper at all. I mean I've heard he's into exercising and weightlifting stuff. I know it sounds dumb but could we maybe incorporate a small exercise area inside the porch?" Cris asked the others.

"Maybe we can also decorate it. Does anyone have any ideas how we can decorate the porch or does that sound too feminine?" Cris asked sheepishly.

Of course it didn't take long for him to be joined by people. And the first one to come to him? A first year.

You know what this meant? HE HAD MINIONS.

Smirking slightly, he gave the kid who introduced himself as Kyroh a quick look over before nodding at him. He didn't look strong but the fourth year was hoping that looks could be deceiving. "Good to meet you, Kyroh. The name's Grayson." He might have even shot the boy a smile.

MORE first years. Oh jeez. If this continued, he might have to be responsible or whatever. Look after these tiny people. He cast a quick look over towards Culloden. He had not signed up for babysitting classes, thank you very much. Looking back at the girl (Hayden) and shot her a smile too. "Hope you're ready to bring out your inner Hercules, then."

He was drop dead hilarious, mkay?

FINALLY. Someone he KNEW and GOT ALONG WITH. He had never been more happy to see this fellow fourth year. It was as if Gold had been sent by Merlin himself to rescue him. "Uh huh. And between you and me and Strong Kyroh and Miss Hercules, we are the coolest group." Wink.

Someone else he knew and got along with! Freaking YES. This was turning out to be better than he had hoped it to be. The smirk on his face was growing again. "I hope that's the truth and you're not just bragging to show off." He was joking, of course. Kace was a Hugger and Finder, he doubted whether the guy would do something like that.

............... Oh hello. Person. New person. Who are YOU?!

Grayson looked the new boy with the floppy hair (Zander) up and down, almost as if he was inspecting him. He did not KNOW this one. And while firsties were tiny and could easily be manipulated into doing his bidding, he wasn't sure about this kid right here. "Helloooooooo Zander," he said slowly, giving the kid a nod, "The name's Grayson." Learn it. Remember it. Keep it in your memory bank forevs.

............. And then this one didn't even care?! Psh. Fine. FINE. It wasn't like they weren't dealing with FIRE or anything. The Slytherin furrowed his eyebrows as he looked the kid (Kevin). "I like your level of enthusiasm." Deadpan. "You'll enjoy it. We're dealing with fire." Like HELLO?! What more did he want?

No really. He could be a bit more enthusiastic about this.

This girl's name made him hungry. Candice. CANDY. She was another tiny one. Jeez, he was really good at attracting those, wasn't he? "Good to meet you, Candice," Or hair twirler, to which he smirked a little. "I'm Grayson." Anddddddddd he shot her a wink just because.

Turning to the group at large, he looked around at them all before saying, "Okay, so we're the best and coolest group and if anyone says otherwise, they're lying." Take it from him, he knew. "Sooooo we have two tasks: stone carrying and fire pit building." FIYAH! "Meaning that maaaaaaybe we should split up into two smaller groups? One that carries the stones and another that makes the pit?" Thoughts? Comments? "What d'ya think?"

Keep the sassiness at bay, mkay? That was his job.

By the time Cutty had reached the project site, he was already feeling the effects of the potion more fully. He had drunken it at the castle in preparation for what they were about to do here. He hardly knew Mr. Kirkby, but he seemed like a strong, muscle building manly man to Cutty. Just his type. And, even more so if he happened to be brick-stupid. Actually, it was also his mother's type too. There'd probably be fights over men later on in their futures, but Cutty figured that he'd win.

He got there in time to hear Culloden greet them all and then ask them to divide into teams each charged with a particular task. Making a fire-pit? Sounded wizardly to Cutty. And it would be something that he could use later too if he were ever in a spot. You know, whilst at school one should always invest in one's own future. That's how he saw this venture.

Cutty looked over the bag which Culloden had indicated would be where they could find their materials. And headed for it. Oh, hey Bricks! He pulled one out and moved it over to the area where they'd be building the fireplace. Everyone else could duke it out over who'd manage the project with Culloden buy with the porch project, although his money was on Whitty.

As Toby joined the group, Lux sent him a smile as well. Awww, he was a vegetarian. Understandable that he wouldn't want to drink this stuff then! Hopefully the Professor would let him help still; it wasn't like the boy couldn't do the less heavy lifting or anything.

As Bay showed them some plans he had made, she was rather impressed. "Wow, that's really good. I really like your idea." He was such a great planner. "I don't know much about him either. But I think he likes honey? We could decorate with cute decorative bees?" Okay, maybe a bad idea, but she didn't know. Maybe best ignore her input on that one.

"Hi Cris!" said Lucy! "Can I join with you and your friends?
The plans of Bay is fantastic!
I think the pots could be a good solution for the decoration of the porch and also the creepers!"

Awwww, will you look at the second group, playing with their planks like that? Cosgrach griiiiiiiinned at them, winked at Sophie and felt giddy. He was glad they were having RESPONSIBLE fun, so he didn't have anything to say to them. Good fun. Hehe.

"Yes?" he greeted the boy with enthusiasm, but upon hearing what he said... his face fall a little, as he was concerned, but it wasn't something he could help. If Toby didn't eat meat, it was his choice, yeah?

"...sure... No, I know your potion works, I don't need to test it." He smiled encouragingly. "Don't hurt yourself though, yeah? You can nail or arrange the smaller stones, maybe."

If he didn't drink the potion, it was up to him to make sure he wasn't hurt.



Listening to this boy... actually... he KNEW what he was doing!

"GROUP ONE!" he yelled to get their attention, "listen to your leader as I name him to direct it. He is - Mr. - okayhe'sthisguylistentohim."

Yeah.



Once he was done with other groups, he turned to the group that needed his direction the most. He watched Bay drawing something on the paper, and... this guy could draw. And calculate. And design. Cosgrach didn't say anything, but looked at his design secretly, and put it in his pocket quickly. Ooookayyyy. Okay. This wasn't going the way he wanted, but it was barely a problem for a professional Slytherin.

Butting in the discussion after Sophie, he said "Your plan looks great, yes." He smiled at the boy. "I know, for one, that there shouldn't be a roof. I was in the same year as him, y'see, and we were close buddies. He just loves the sun so much and we shouldn't block his view and whatever." Half of this was correct, and the other was a lie, but he was the BEST in lying, so he was VERY casual with it. And anyway, he knew they weren't that stupid to question a professor, let alone Cosgrach Culloden, so... ehehehe. He knew Orsino was going to 'enjoooooy' this.

"The floor should also be fully wooden. He loves it and stuff. And maybe we also shouldn't put any railings. Wouldn't want the big guy to feel suffocated, ya know?"

Yeeeeah.

OOC: I will post 15-16 hours later, so you guys can go ahead with the building or discussion or however you want to roll.

So things seemed to really be coming together now. There was a plan, at least. Sophie turned her attention to Culloden just in time to see him sneak a piece of paper into his pocket. That must have been his plan. Sophie didn't say anything about that, because she figured he'd scrapped his own idea in favor of Bay's.

...but the professor did lay out a part of his plan. Such a big emphasis on the words loves and so much. Hmm... It kind of made Sophie think this was some sort of practical joke or something, but she didn't have enough information to back up that idea, so she mentioned nothing of it.

Until... "But Bay's idea calls for screens," she pointed out. "How would we put up the screens if we scratched the roof part of the project?" Questions. She had 'em. So were the doing Bay'd idea or not? Or maybe they were going to do half Bay's idea and half the professor's idea. Either way... "Should I go gather some wood?" she asked the group.

Cris smiled in greeting when a young Gryffindor came over to join their group. "Hi Lucy. Sure the more the merrier. This here is Adi, Bay, Jasmine, Lux, Sophie and Toby," Cris introduced the rest of the team to her.

Ah yes, Professor Culloden was here to share his ideas with them? So Cris listened intently, interested in knowing what would best suit the Groundskeeper.

Wait! What? No roof? Cris couldn't fathom why not. What was a porch without a roof? Cris tried to visualize it. Hmmm...maybe a balcony except it was on the ground floor, with no railings.

Cris looked suspiciously at his Potions master wondering whether he had been serious about the no roof thing.

He looked over at his friends and mouthed no walls? to them. He listened as Sophie voiced her own concerns and he looked at her, with the same expression of doubt on his face.

Then Cris shrugged, they could always start making the wooden floors and hopefully by the time they were done, the Professor would have changed his mind about that.

"One wooden floor coming up. Bay could you stick your design somewhere so that we can refer to it?" Cris asked Bay, figuring that they'd work on the porch using his design....for now....sans roof and railings...

"Some those in the other group are doing that and dropping it here for us to use, but I think we can help carry some ourselves, since we can't really start until we have those," Cris replied to her other question.

So that was what he did. Cris first picked up one plank, and then another, stacking that one on top of the first, and then another. Cris couldn't believe it. Three planks of wood and they weren't even heavy!!

Cris hefted the planks over his shoulder, and dealt them out like playing cards, placing them side by side, right up against one side of the existing hut.

"Wow! This potion really works. 3 planks of wood in one go. Who wants to try carrying four?" Cris turned around to grin at his friends.

Yes, he was challenging anyone.

okay so everyone seemed to like his idea so far, which was great. Turning to Sophie he said "thats a great idea.. does anyone know what he likes? because the only thing I know is that he's into fitness?" thinking about it… it would be hard for him to incorporate the fitness thing into the porch..

Honey Bees.. "thats a great idea, but errrrmmmmm I'm not to sure if a manly man like himself will like it" Bay didn't want to upset Lux and he hoped that she didn't take it that way.. because if this was his porch he wouldn't want huge honey bees. Inside her idea made him go "d'awwwwwww".

Oh no here comes the professor. Seeing him look at the drawing Bay had made he was quickly turning red.. ohhh he liked the outdoors… "well sir we can always change the roof from a solid one to something like a pergola.. its just wooden boards going across in a direction so theres sun and a bit of shade?" surely no one would want to be in the sun all the time… gulp

so if they were going to go with that idea of the pergola then screen sides weren't needed… so he scratched it off on his drawing.. "Professor, another quick question does he like his privacy? because if he does we can add a privacy wall made out of a light material that still lets the light in but gives him that feeling that he's alone?" He had totally helped his father build a lot of things back at his house so he was very knowledgeable about building things.

...and then that Cris guy was on a ROLL.

"Wait," she said, thinking to herself. "Shouldn't we build some raised base before laying the planks? The design calls for stairs, so...we should build a vertical base first." She eyed Cris' work. He really had those planks lined up nicely, but...were they on the ground? She hadn't noticed a base being built.

She pointed to Bay's design where the stairs came up to a screen door...one they didn't seem to be building anymore according to the professor's design.

Oooh, they were being joined by a bunch of people. Hayden was excited to meet a bunch of people. "Hi Kyroh, hi Grayson, hi Candice, hi Zander." Hi to everyone else too, but those were all the people who had introduced themselves, and she was getting tired of saying the word hi. It didn't even seem like a word anymore. HIIIIII. Yeah weird. "My name is Hayden Malone." Was she supposed to include her year and house? Whatever.

Oooh, that boy Grayson was named leader. Good, he seemed to know what he was talking about. And he was saying that they should split into two smaller groups. "I can carry stones." She did not have an eye for artistic things, so she would let others build the fireplace for now. Maybe she could help later when they'd already gotten started.

And then ideas were flying around and Cris decided that it would be best to figure out what they were intending on doing before they started actually building it.

He first listened to Bay's idea which was a very good. That one had at least a baby roof. As for Sophie's idea, he already had that covered.

"Good question, Sophie. Actually I was thinking that we could raise the level where we're going to be putting up the porch, to be the same level as the existing steps here," Cris pointed out the steps to everyone.

"We could either raise the ground by adding more dirt or we could pile on dirt and stones and then lay some planks on it or we could erects stilts and then place the planks on those." Cris shared his ideas with everyone else.

"I was thinking that maybe we could put up some kind of mosquito netting. That could help with the privacy as well as any insect problems?" Cris paused to see whether that even made any sense at all.

"And while we're deciding on the design, I was thinking what about a wraparound porch? That way the Groundskeeper can walk around the hut. Something like this?"

That was another idea he had thought about.

Grayson was the older boys name. HE COULD REMEMBER THAT! But then a bunch of other people came and started giving off their names. Hayden and Zander and Kace and even a Kevin. THERE WAS A KEVIN. Kyroh's head was starting to spin from all the names but then Candice showed up. Oh he definitely could remember her name! Duh. "Hi Candice!" The first year exclaimed loudly.

Then Grayson started talking again.

They WERE the best and coolest group. Cause he said so! He had! "I'll carry some stones!" Kyroh announced raising his hand. Because that was a good idea to split up.He wasn't about to try to make the fire pit though, he didn't even know what those looked like.

Plus, he still had not taken ANY potion so....that would be more lifting than needed. With a quick salut to Grayson Kyroh started toward an area with the stones. Flexing the first year positioned himself and started to push the large stone.

......Or he thought he did.

He was pushing.

It just wasn't moving.

Uh. Kyroh's eyes flickered to a smaller stone. "Hey you!!" The boy called out to another Slytherin. "Watch look how strong I am!" He held his breath and PUSSSSHHHHHED.

...It probably moved a solid two centimetres..... SCORE.

Kace fist pumped him in agreement. "YEAH WE ARE THE BEST GROUP!!" he said to Grayson. He even noticed a lot of new people in the group. He liked meeting new people. He heard Grayson's suggestion and nodded. "I think we should split into two groups. I noticed some people already are carrying stones, so I can help with the wood, building the fire pit.." he offered. He went over to the professor and asked, "Professor quick question, do we chop down the wood or do you have some for us?"

Zander looked around at the small rather large group of students that had gathered round. Okay cool. Group one was at a good start, right? First step's participation after all. His eyes stopped on an older Slytherin (Grayson), who was inspecting him (?) up and down. Uhhum... Excuse you? What was he looking for? This guy was very... intense?

Who put him in charge anyways. Hmph. But Zander wasn't really looking for a leadership position anyways. So it was whatever. Okay taking notes now. Two groups? Stone carriers and Pit makers. And the great Culloden speaks! Oh. So now Grayson really is in charge. Mmkay Well since it was all official and stuff, it's okay.

Zander looked over to the girl who had just introduced herself (Hayden). SO many firsties on this team. Goodness. Either way Zander didn't really want to carry the stones, he'd rather work with the FIYA STUFF. "OH, I'll help with the pit making," he said taking a step away from Hayden and Kyroh, who just announced that they'd be working with the rock carrying and going towards that other pit-maker-kid (Kace)Would that be all good and dandy with this Grayson dude?

Under normal circumstances, Hayden would not have been able to lift one of those stones. Probably not. She'd never really tried, or had even a little bit of desire to do so. But this potion was supposed to make her strong. So, Hayden assessed the stones in front of her for a moment. Then, with a surge of determination, she put her arms around a big stone and HEAVED it up into her arms. Whoa, it wasn't even heavy at all. Hayden carried the stone toward the right of the hut, where the professor wanted the fire pit to be built. She jumped up and down excitedly. She'd done it! Okay, time to do it some more!

She made her way back over to the stones, and saw a boy (Kyroh, she thought) struggling to move a stone. "Didn't you take the potion?" She asked. Obviously not, but why? Hayden stood a few steps away, regarding the boy curiously.
