| | Humpbacked Witch Statue
A long time ago, a secret corridor on the third floor led from the statue of a humpbacked witch all the way to Honeydukes in Hogsmeade. If one still knew the password that caused the witch to reveal the passageway, one might be able to convince her to move an inch or two...
But even then, the passageway is firmly blocked off and sealed. The only thing this witch is good for is they tiny hiding spot she reveals if a person can get her to budge.

Shaking his head he felt less weird about it, the Gryffindor didn't know why though, he just wasn't as embarrassed. "Nope..never." It was the truth.
"Good!" he would have clean organized notes from a pretty girl who probably had pretty handwriting and claimed to do everything neatly. He was interested in what that looked like. He wasn't exactly neat himself..nope. He didn't want to get hit on the head? He knew exactly the best decision to make. Hehe. Els grinned at him, and ruffled his hair a little. "Good choice. You make good choices." And she was already proud of him. What a cutie. N'aw. Once she'd gotten over the laughing bit, and actually started to feel like she'd done something wrong, she nodded. "That's...crazy..." And incidentally, she felt really bad for him. Poor guy. By his age...she'd had her first kiss. And her second. And hundreds more than that. Offering him an apologetic smile, she kissed his cheek. "It isn't a big deal, you know? Your first kiss..." Hell, she'd kiss him and just...explain herself to Coul later. He'd...maybe understand. Right? Still. It wasn't a big deal.

" Well, i'm not crazy, only a crazy person would wanna be hit in the head." He blushed a little at the laughter, hmm. It wasn't his fault..well..it kinda was, but he never felt like any girl actually liked him and he wasn't gonna just kiss a girl just to do it. He'd read far too much and had a very skewed idea of how things should be because of it. " Well, i don't wanna just kiss anyone..i want it to be someone i like..i mean. Maybe it is a big deal?" He was almost trying to figure it out himself. Did he feel like it was a bit deal? Hmm. Maybe not.

With the card almost finished and cookies baked, Simon headed up to the third floor to find Fuller's office. He eyed it. For some reason, he was unhappy with it. He frowned. The card needed something else. Something more personal about it. What he had said was all great and all but it just needed something. By the Humpbacked Witch statue, Simon's blue eyes widened. He pulled out a pencil from his bag and wrote a postscript note on the card for him.
He glanced at the card and felt much more content with how it looked. Perfect.
Now he just had to deliver it to Professor Fuller.

| Charms #2 HW: Post Three Oh, how we drift away from our friends. And the ones back home play remember when
Samantha wasn't one to frequent such areas but this seemed a good place to practice as it was reasonably quiet and maybe the spell would have a better effect since the area was smaller than where she had practiced previously.
Sam looked around as she held her wand by her side. "The perfect spot" she thought as her eyes reached a spot that was a tiny distance away from the statue.
She did the figure eight motion three times, saying "Caelum Saepio." each time. She quickly placed her wand in her pocket and walked away, hoping that the spell had done what it was supposed to do.

Why hello there, humpbacked witch statue. "Are you cold?" AJ had officially been talking to almost everything that she was going to charm. It got lonely after a while trying over and over to get the spell right without anybody to talk to. Maybe next time she should work in pairs. Then she wouldn't have to talk to objects that clearly didn't want to talk back to her.
It was time to get down to business. AJ was so close to being finished that she didn't want to take any more time than necessary doing things. "Caelum Saepio." Her wand swooshed in all of the right ways. WHHHHYYY?" AJ was beginning to become irritated. Did this happen to everyone? It wasn't fair. It was spring time and she was stuck in this castle doing heating charms. Life was so unfair. UGH!
Staring at the statue, AJ did the spell several times over when finally "Caelum Saepio." worked for her. Yipee. One more to go. She could totally do this.

| Charms Homework Post 3 Hiss!Roar!Growl!Caw! | Hermione's Double | The Little Three | Alecate
As Sophie reached the third floor, she began frantically moving around looking for an area that seemed colder than the rest. She saw some Ravenclaw and Gryffindor a few ways down, so at least she hadn't been the only one to wait until the last second to do her homework. She had company! She hurried down the corridor in the opposite direction, since the other two seemed like they had the other side covered.
She skidded to a stop by the humpbacked witch statue. Poor witch. Not only was it humpbacked, but it was also freezing cold, just like the rest of the statue. Sophie wondered if that was because it opened up and led to an entirely different place. Although, hadn't somebody said the statue was sealed shut? Go figure.
Anyway, Sophie walked up to the wall near the statue and stood before it with her wand. "Caelum Saepio!" she called out, waving her wand in a sideways figure eight movement. Since the area had been so cold, and since she seemed to be the only person down this way, Sophie cast again. "Caelum Saepio!" Again, her wand moved in a sideways figure eight. With that, she was more than halfway done. She could do this! She hurried to the stairs that led one floor up.
