Silver lightly giggled. "Right there is fine." She nodded, snapping a picture of Kace. Silver looked at the tiny screen behind the camera, glancing at the picture. "You look very decent." She smiled.

"Huh?" Silver's hearing had been off lately. "Oh yeah. Sure." She reached into her purse, that had an extension charm her dad had placed on it before boarding the train. Reaching down she pulled out a pink scrapbook with the word "HOGWARTS" in large letter printed on it. "I wanna record all my Hogwartian memories." She showed Kace, her scrapbook.

Waaaaaah!

She was doing her best to keep a brave face and smile, but she was plain out feeling like bleh.

This was the first time Sander had visited Hogsmeade but the moment he saw a candy store named Honeydukes, he knew he had to come in here. Valentine's Day was fastly approaching and he wanted to get some candy for his Valentine sweetheart, Tessa.

He browsed the aisle and picked up some chocolate cauldron cakes, chocolate frogs...those were for Bay, because Sander had a feeling his young friend would be running low, especially if he continued to make bets with Lux.

He also picked up some sugar quills and other assorted candy, all the while keeping an eye out for Tessa. He wanted to make sure she didn't see him buying the candy, that he was going to give her.

Precautionary softening charms. How very Ravenclaw of him. "Yeah, sure," Schuyler smiled. And that was a good idea, by the way, because Schuyler didn't not want to end up like Cat with a broken elbow and a concussed head. Yikes. Hospital wing was NOT where she wanted to be. "Softening charm will help keep us safe considering this old person condition thing probably has our bones as brittle as.." As... She got a whiff of the peanut butter fudge. "Peanut brittle."

"Okay, here," she passed over all her chocolate and mints into his arms. He had bigger arms. So he could carry his candy AND her stuff too, right? Right. "You go buy all this stuff," she placed the right amount of money for her things in his pants pocket for him because he had his hands full. "I'll go buy us sodas and then we'll test it out. Should I meet you here or in the street? Do you have a soda preference?"

Schuyler was getting root beer. Favorite.

Today was one of her days off from the Owl Post, and usually Vashti would have used it to get most of her homework from university, but instead she'd decided, with Anakin's encouragement, to make it an actual day off. At least for most of the day. Regina had been obsessed with wanting to go to Hogsmeade recently after hearing about it, so Vashti decided today was probably a good time to do that. Naia hadn't really wanted to go, so she'd stayed home with her dad. A little bit of Apparition later and - poof! - they were in Hogsmeade.

Honeydukes was the shop that really caught Gina's eye, so they walked into there first, Vashti making sure to keep hold of her hand.

"Ooooo, lookit CANDY!" the three-year-old squealed excitedly, her eyes trying to take in everything as quickly as possible. "Mummy, can we get some pleeeeeeease??"

Vashti couldn't help but smile at her excitement. "Sure," she replied. "We'll get enough to take home to Naia and Daddy." Regina almost didn't wait for a response, already tugging on her hand to try and drag her over to one of the shelves.

With her day off from work at St Mungo's, Trixie had decided that it was prime opportunity to take Ruby to Hogsmeade after she had begged her to take her there. Tabitha clearly had other plans with her father and had stayed with him getting up to goodness knew what along with the twins. She had apparated in along with the six year old and wandered along the street until she found somewhere that caught her eye.

Thankfully Ruby wasn't the sort of child to be obsessed with sweets and she usually ate pretty healthily but with Honeydukes beautiful candy display, the brunettes eyes had lit up and she pulled her mother towards the shop window. "Can we go in here please?" she asked politely, looking up towards her mother.

"Of course we can" the former head girl grinned down at her daughter. She followed along happily when her hand was pulled, knowing that she wouldn't ask for much. "How about we get everyone a little something?" she suggested, opening the door to the shop and walking in only for her eyes to fall on two very familiar faces. She knew Ruby had spotted them too and she put her finger to her lips. "Shh, don't let them hear you" she giggled, taking hold of her daughters hand and sneaking up behind them.

"Boo" the blonde spoke into Vashti's ear with a small smirk feeling like a child again.

Now she was just making him hungry with food puns. Well at least Nigel thought it was a pun. Peanut brittle. Brittle bones. Could be Nigel was just trying too hard to find puns. Probably.

Woah, Woah. When did he become the guy who was going to buy hers and his candy? He did not even have enough time to responded before she bombarded him with more questions. Nigel just stood there carrying all her candy. He had not even had a chance to complete his order yet. "Okay.....is this all you want?" Just to be sure, before he grabs the three things he wanted.

And see, he just can not say no.

At least she gave him the money to buy her sweets and where was she going now, to get soda?"Umm...I guess out on the street and not really, well maybe root beer"

Was that all she wanted? "Well, I guess I should get some extras to give people for Valentine's." Valentine's Day was probably Honeyduke's second favorite holiday after Halloween. People bought chocolates and sweets for their sweethearts. And friends, evidently. The brunette grabbed some acid pops, more chocolate frogs, jelly slugs, and then piled them onto the hefty pile in Nigel's arms. She put her hands on her waist and dropped her hip as she examined the lot. "That should probably be good.." Yeah? Hooray for Valentine's Day and Valentine's candy and experimenting with fizzing whizbees. "Oh, wait!" She snatched another long package of the toothflossing stringmints and draped it around his neck. Could never have too much mint. Then she smiled and nodded.

"Okay, yes. Root beer it is!" And she was off to get some carbonated sugar drinks.

Tessa paused at the door of the candy shop, she knew that many temptations lay within, but she had to remind herself that she wasn't shopping for herself- she would be shopping for her friends. And maybe one or two pieces for her.

She entered the store, and her senses were instantly overloaded with sweet and delicious looking and smelling things. She wandered the aisles, having to stop herself from taking one of everything. Shop for your friends first, she scolded mentally as she walked from display to display.

She selected candy for Bay, and had also gotten quite a few Chcolate frogs for Lux. However, now something for Sander... that was a hard one. Finally, she settled on the Maple fudge, figuring it would remind him of home... in a good way, she hoped. Now, to find a treat for herself.

Tessa had just turned a corner when she bumped into a tall and quite familiar figure. She stumbled back, managing to catch herself- but dropping all of her selections. "Oh! Sander!" she said, quickly scrambling to pick up what she had picked out, hiding his away behind the others. "I didn't see you- are you alright?"

Sander hadn't even seen Tessa when she walked in the store. Talk about looking out for her...Pffftt!! He only knew when someone bumped into him and then he heard the voice he loved hearing the most. It was Tessa.

TESSA!!

Sander quickly grabbed the gifts that were meant for her in one hand and hid them behind his back. Then he angled his body in such a way, so that she wouldn't be able to see said hidden hand behind his back.

Yes let her think that he only had one hand for now...

"Tessa you should know by now...actually not now since I seem to be unusually fragile...but I think that I'm still strong enough to withstand a bump from you." Sander smiled in greeting.

Wait she had dropped her stuff. "Here let me help you with that." Sander immediately offered, slowly bending down to reach out with one hand and then belatedly realizing that that hand was full holding the candy that he had bought for Bay and Lux.

Okay....maybe he could tuck the candy he was holding behind his back, between his shirt and pants...and hope that nothing slipped down. That would at least free up that hand.

Jasper watched his son closely once they were in the shop. He really didn't want anyone to steal his son from him, he had that happen once but it was Brady's mother. Once she took him that didn't end up to well, his mother ended up leaving him in the street when he was two and Jasper was pretty sure that Brady remembered it but just didn't feel like talking about it.

Best dad? Jasper found it hard to believe that Phillip would say that to him after left him over and over again when him and Caroline would get into fights all the time. Maybe if she didn't cheat on him then they would get along. "Thank you, kiddo." Jasper nodded and watched him run down the aisle.

Jasper needed to make an effort of hanging out with Phillip more often, he didn't want to leave the poor kid forever. Blink. Blink. CANDY! Jasper followed close to Phillip. Jasper looked at the candy his son was looking at. He didn't think he had ever tried that one. "I don't believe I've tried it before." anything with cockroach in it couldn't be good

So, what had happened to her quick Quidditch reflexes? She had no idea, but at least if they were present, they had prevented her from falling and breaking a hip.

"Well, we are both strong and indestructible... or we used to be," she remarked with a grin. "And usually that ends in some sort of destruction- although, not necessarily our own." Speaking of which, she looked down at the Chocolate Frogs that she had picked up for Lux and winced. "Looks like I'm going to have to get a few more frogs- I don't want to give broken ones to Cucumber," she said with a soft laugh.

"It's alright, I've got it," she assured him, taking a step back so that he wouldn't inadvertently discover what she had picked up for him. That would just spoil the surprise completely.

"So... this is amazing, isn't it?" she said, figuring she would direct the attention AWAY from what was in her arms. "There are some candies here that I've never heard of!"

Sander wondered why Tessa had taken a step from him. Maybe it was to give him more room...not that he needed it. So he took a step forward closer to her, while trying to keep his hand still hidden behind his back...which was now beginning to ache, because it wasn't used to being held behind his back for long periods.

.....to make matters worse it was beginning to grow numb!! Loss of blood circulation!! Sander knew that if he didn't move his hand anytime soon, all the gifts he was planning to get Tessa would eventually end up on the floor because his fingers would be too numb to hold them.

So he moved closer to a shelf laden with candy, hoping that he could drop what he was holding into one of the containers there, without Tessa noticing he was doing so.

"Me too. I haven't seen some of the candy before either. I wonder whether the cockroach clusters actually contains cockroach." he pointed out to Tessa.

Kace saw the flash and he blinked a few times to get the white dots out of his eyes. "I am glad you think so.." he said still blinking. "May i see the picture?" he asked. It needed his approval that is for sure. "Or can you check to see if i didn't blink." he joked with her on that.

Then he noticed she was pulling out her Hogwarts scrapbook. He raised his eyebrows and thought the book looked awesome. He approved of that. He wished he had time to do stuff like that. But his mom mostly did all of that not him. "Wooaahh this is cool.." he said grabbing the book and flipping through the pages. When he finished looking through he noticed she was a little off. He gave her a quizzical look. "Are you feeling okay?"

Tessa saw Sander's strange look, but there wasn't an excuse for why she had pulled away that she was willing to give. He would just have to trust her- which he was sure he did. If only she had something to wrap it in...

She made a face at the candy that Sander brought up. "Well, you can try it first and let me know," she told him with a nod. "I'll stand ready with something safe and delicious," she assured him. Although, if they did that, she wasn't going to guarantee that whatever candy she was holding for him would be in one piece. And, being in this store, her sweet tooth was acting up big time.

"So, do you have a favorite candy?" she asked Sander and she moved down the aisle to look at some of the other candy, adjusting what she was holding to continue concealing the maple fudge she was hiding from him.

Regina seemed quite taken with the sugar quills and the milk chocolate fudge on display, so it looked like they would probably be getting some of those for now. That would be more than enough for her already energetic little girls. She was about to turn and head for the counter to pay for the sweets when a voice suddenly spoke in her ear, causing her to jump a little.

She turned just as Gina said happily, "Ruby!"

"Merlin, you startled me, Trixie," Vashti said with a small laugh. "Is this how you greet all your friends nowadays?" she added with a grin.

The moment Tessa turned to look at the cockroach clusters, Sander quickly dropped the candy he had picked out for Tessa into what he hoped was a container and not the floor. With a quick glance he breathed a sigh of relief when he saw they were now lying inside a container. He would come back to pick them up when he was ready to pay for them.

"Are you daring me to eat one of them? Tessa you know that it's hard for me to back away from a dare, so here goes," Sander told her as he picked one out of the container and popped it into his mouth and began chewing on it.

It tasted horrible but he knew that it wouldn't be manly of him to admit it, so he tried to hide the distaste from his face, even as he tried swallow the crunchy bits. Were they bits of cockroach, Sander didn't even want to think about it. All he knew was that the aftertaste was horrible.

When he managed to swallow down the lump in his mouth, he pointed out the fudge to Tessa. "I love fudge....chocolate....maple...anything that is fudge.. What about you? What is your favorite candy?" he asked her in return.

Yes it wouldn't hurt to ask just to verify that his earlier choice was acceptable or not.

Sander paused and waited for Tessa to look down at the fudge he was pointing out, because the moment she did, he was going to clean out his tongue!!

Hmmm. Not much of a reaction from the Dragon. "I think we should just go for one option. I won't mind trying the Blood Pops. Say, Benny. Do you reckon there's real blood in there?'' He hadn't thought about that before. And if someone would think the thought would detour him from trying the Pop, they were wrong. Hehe

Adi glanced at his friend. What went on in that head of his? Benny didn't speak much but Adi knew a million thoughts must be going on in there. He just wished some of it would come through the boy's mouth. His mind wandered back to the Babbling Beverage... He must speak to Professor Culloden.

"Oh, come on, Benny,'' the Puffer said patiently. "You must want to try something. What's your favourite candy, anyway?'' And speaking of favourite candy...he wished he knew what was Sophie's.

She looked at it and took it. Blood pops weren't her favorite, but they were her dad's. Gwen could just sweet talk him later with tears and candy so she wouldn't get in too much trouble. "So you here by yourself or are your parents here somewhere?" Obviously they weren't in the shop because most parents run to their crying child.

But she's talking to old people and I wanted sweets so I came in here alone," Harper told her, reaching up to grab another blood pop to replace the one he'd handed over to Gwen. He should probably grab a few more sweets that he liked as well. He didn't know when his mummy would allow him to come back here again.

"Are your parents here?" he asked Gwen in return, looking around to see if he could spot anyone. It didn't seem like she'd come in here with an adult. Maybe she'd run away like he had? It would certainly explain why she didn't want him making a scene.

Silver giggled and nodded. "Yes you may." She replied, scooting closer to Kace to show him the picture. "Nope. You didn't blink. You look amazing!" She nodded.

Yep. Her scrapbook was totally amazeballs.

Sigh.

"Yeah. I'm fine." Silver lightly smiled. "So... She cooed. "What's your favorite candy?" That was a lame question.

Kace smiled and then kid with her. "Nah i am not amazing, i am awesome there is a difference ya know." he chuckled. He did admit he did look pretty good today. Maybe it was because of the warm weather outside and he could finally wear some nice summer clothes.

Kace was glad she was fine because well he wanted this to be a good day for him. He smiled and motioned towards his hands with the pile of candy he got. "Well i think safe to say i do not have a favorite."

Cinnamon was in serious debate here. She was just about to say the heck with it and get a crazy amount of both. She was about to move up it get another or so more boxes of each.

Holy Hogwarts hottie. The boy who just spoke to her, hello. She smiled up to him because he was reaching over her to grab some himself. "Yeah. I bet you could convince any professor by doing that." She laughed. Then placed the chocolate frogs back on the shelf and grabbed more quills.

Well if he had an option, of the two, Ben agreed with the thought of a blood pop over a cluster and nodded gingerly to show it. He wasn't much of a fan of trying something that might actually have an insect within it. Regardless if it was dead in covered on stuff that would otherwise be considered yummy. "I guess it could have...or maybe mad to taste like it like Berty Botts." Either option fit the bill on the choices one might come to expect from the collection

The Gryffindor glanced another look around the shop, the boy wandering a little with his friend. So he wasn't aware of Adi's attention on him or any clue to future intentions.

"I like sour candies," he answered tentatively with another shrug as he looked back, revealing something that one might have not necessarily picked up in passing. It was random. Ben hadn't found much wizarding candy that fit the bill though, and clung instead to the stuff his grandparents had introduced one visit to the states. "Chocolate's okay though. " Even if sometimes he simply prefered it in beverage form, especially hot.

Trixie couldn't help but smirk a little as Vashti jumped to her surprise. She couldn't resist it, there was still a part of the blonde which retained her Hogwarts personality. Frying pans and cushions in history of magic was one of her favourite memories, who cared if she was a mother now? She could still have a little fun. And the giggle that erupted out of the small brunette beside her was encouragement enough.

"Only those friends I like the most" she winked pulling her friend into a big hug. "You were distracted facing the other way and it was oh so tempting" she giggled. She glanced down at the little girl next to her. "Hello sweetie" she grinned. "Is mummy spoiling you with sweets?" she asked.

Ruby had pulled her younger friend into a hug just like her mother had done to Vashti. "Hello Gina" she grinned before smiling up at her Godmother.

Silver giggled. Kace was funny. "Agreed." She giggled. Kace should have a sign on him that reads: Don't get sad, get glad. Because he was such a fun person to hang out with.

"I can see that." Silver giggled. "Ooooh chocolate frogs!" She thought out loud. Typical little Miss Barry. "Have you ever tried merging different kinds of candies together?" Yup believe it or not, she's done this.

Kace shrugged innocently. "Hey i have a huge sweet tooth, i can admit it." he said looking at his pile. He did have a problem but his mother wasn't here to lecture him and he liked it. "I see your a chocolate frog fan huh?" he smirked. "You going to buy some and not let me seem like a pig?" he asked with a chuckle.

Then she asked him an interesting question....did he ever merge two different types of candies together. He had not. "Noo i haven't, which candies do you recommend i merge together?" he asked for her advice.
