High Street is the main street of Hogsmeade, from which you can access all its most famous shops. There's a path that leads from the winged boar flecked front gates of Hogwarts all the way up to High Street. It's probably how you got here today!
From the main street of Hogsmeade, you can ,eet up with your friends before heading over to the Three Broomsticks for a butterbeer, browse the windows of the shops as you pass by, interact with students from other houses, and just have fun on your weekend out. Enjoy!
Ian listened to more of what Gwen had to say. He was a little surprised that she hadn't been to the library. He hadn't heard about the Board of Governor's thing, but that's not out of the ordinary since he has kind of been in and out of things the last couple of weeks. He only came here because he needed some time away from the castle.
Ian sighed, sat back and placed his arm behind Gwen's back (it was getting kind of sore from holding his weight up). Well Gwen, perhaps we should first try to see what we can learn about a time-thief. Do you have any ways we can try and identify those who were impacted previously? I think we might be able to talk to Mr. Kitridge, the librarian. He seems like a helpful fellow and kind of closer to our age than most of the other staff. He used his outside hand to rub his temple. Seems he'd developed a bit of a headache and he failed to notice a clump of hair come off of his head and land on the ground beside his feet.
Gwen was not a fan of reading. Nope, not at all. But she knew Ian was. Perhaps he could read, and she could just tag along for moral support? Because he could always just tell her what he learned. That way there wouldn't be any headaches or embarrassments.
Um, I would start with teacher who have been here a really long time I think. Because we could ask them questions and they would know who was impacted previously." Gwen echoed his words because they sounded smart. She nodded in agreement about the librarian. "Definitely we should talk to Mr. Kitridge."
Gwen watched as a clump of hair fell from Ian's head and landed on the ground. Her blue eyes got wide. "Oh my God! Your hair!" She nearly shouted, pointing the the fallen clump. Did he have leukemia or something? Gwen was pretty sure that made hair fall out, though she wasn't really sure why. Whatever the reason, it was freaky.

It was just her base reaction because, well, she had been told on numerous occasions that she was a little bit of a violent person. Mortimer enabled her. Blah, blah, blah. (That last bit was SO not true. Mortimer was her baby, thank you.)
When Kurumi finally whimpered something, though, Selina let out a breath. Sure, it wasn't English, but at least it was proof that Selina did not break Rumi or anything of that nature. She would have been in a LOT of trouble if Kurumi broke down or something. And she supposed she would have been upset if she had heart her. Yes, that as well.
SO YAY. Whimpering was signs of life.
"Oh, um," Recover, Skylar, recover, "I know you do. I was just teasing you." And she wasn't saying that Rumi wasn't pretty. SHE WAS. Selina was friends with really, really pretty people. Which often begged the question why she was there, but she found she brought charisma to the table. That and a very important skill of eating all of their food. All important things.
BLINK. BLINK. Was Kurumi REALLY going to start a snow war with her. Oh-ho-ho. It was ON. Like, Merlin please, it was so on. Donning an innocent little face, Selina walked slowly at Rumi, "You know what, Rumi? I think you might look JUST as good with some white colour." SNOW ATTACK.
Her hair was still a shade of orange, by the way, and there was very little she could do about that at the moment because her emotions were entirely out of control. Getting them back under control would take something rather special and quite possibly complete silence. The latter of these things she knew was impossible given her current company.
But the impromptu snowball fight was proving to be a good distraction.
Relying on her kendo reflexes to dodge the initial attack, she stuck her tongue out at Selina while knowing full well it was only a matter of time before the red head got the upper hand. Selina was the athletic one and arguably had better stamina. Scooping up more snow, she tossed it at Selina and tried to create more space between them.
"We already know I look good in white," she laughed. Thoughts. Slightly panicked ones were now resurfacing. White. Wedding. EEP! Distracted her next ball of snow went no where near Selina.
Oops.

Ian listened some more. I sure am tired he thought to himself. He took a deep breath and felt his eyes go a little heavy. As she answered, he merely nodded. He caught bits and pieces of what she was saying. He was then startled back to full consciousness as she screamed about his hear.
He reached up and felt his head and then looked down at the ground. That's odd. Seems my hair might be falling out. Perhaps I should have that looked at. Would you accompany me back to the school?
As he began his preparations to stand, he grabbed his cane and steeled his mind to stand. He knew it would take a herculean effort to get up and back to school, but he was tired of being outside. A nap was a fine idea He decided. I think I want a nap, Gwen. Let's walk back to the castle and then I can go rest a bit. He was glad she'd found him here. Why had he come here? he wondered to himself.
When he and Gwen were finally up, he started heading off in the direction of the school using his deliberate, steady gait.

Mitchell looked down at the ground and laughed as he shook his head. Kace did have a point. Kinda. Sorta. Maybe? Was he allowed to think that Marigold might like him or was that... presumptuous?
"I dunno, dude. I might." he replied with a half shrug.

"I dunno, dude. I might." he replied with a half shrug.
He nodded and was shocked. "Huh...that's interesting because i had a crush on her too a while back but it faded since i am dating someone from Beauxbatons." He met Emmylou in Hogsmeade and the first time he saw her, she caught his heart. "I do not know if you know her thought, her name is Emmylou?" he asked to see if he did.
But on the topic of Marigold, "Well mate i hope it goes well for both of ya. It seems like she really likes you like i said." he replied with a half shrug. "Do you wanna go into any stores today or would you rather just walk around?" he asked him buddy. He wanted to spend some time with him.
Vinnie was a bit late but she didnt want to rush down to Hogsmeade. How uncool would that look. So she just strolled down the street twirling a strand of her curly hair around her finger and chewing on a chewing gum. He better be there already water for her. Looking hot as per. Ahem.
To be honest the brunette was rather excited to see Mister Idiot again. It had been a long time. Stupid schools being stupid. Just as she was coming down the road her eyes landed on a dark haired boy leaning against a wall. Mister Idiot. Smiiirkk.
Vinnie approached him sneakily and leaned next to him on the wall."Waiting for somone?"
His nose wrinkled as elderly walked past. He didn't remember there being so many grannies and granpas running about. Weird. This part of the country was weird. Durmstrang was definitely better. INFINITELY better.
Nikolai saw her even before she approached him. But it was cute that she was trying to be sneaky.
A smirk pulling at his lips, Nikolai turned his head at Vinnie. "Why, yes. For a pretty girl, you see. She promised to meet me here. Have you seen her?" PAUSE. "She has these gorgeous eyes and--" He turned fully toward her, hovering his hand above her head as if measuring her. "--she's about your height."

Hi Vinnie. Smirk.
Leaning against the wall Vinnie couldnt help but watch him out of he corner of her eye and grin. Hogsmeade should just be open all the time, why make things complicated....Yes right, things.
"Hmmm...i see", she said not able to hide the smile on her face," have you been waiting for her for long? She might have stood you up you know." Not that the thought of doing that had come to her head but, you know, playing was fun.
"Oh so you think she's gorgeous?", the brunette turned to proper look him in the eyes," thats very interesting." Indeed it was. " A pity i dont seem to know her."
And then he pretended to measure her...and she lost it. Vinnie cracked up and started laughing. Niko definitely was one weird boy. " What a nice coincidence thats she's about my hight, your taste in girls must be great."
Haha! David hadn't expected that comeback, and so he was still very amused and continued smirking. "I suppose that's fair. You're also very difficult to overlook, you know." And he winked at her too for good measure. Was that a good enough compliment, Miss Delilah? Hmmm?
The smirk faded away a bit when she started excitedly describing Hogwarts. Those were the things he had hoped to hear, so this was good. Even nothing at all to complain about? That was definitely good to hear. "Can I quote you on that?" he asked with a grin. His dad was gonna hear about all this. 'Cause how could he say no when there were people - well, technically just a person but psh, his dad didn't need ALL the details exactly - who had nothing negative to say about it? Oh yeah, he was so persuasive.
Very difficult to overlook. Delilah, obviously, was pleased. Not that she didn't know it already.. "Thanks. That's very kind of you." She said, with a grin. Oh, there was a wink too. Heh. She was quite impressed. The girl winked back at him, still grinning.
"Of course." Yeah, there were a couple of things she didn't like either. Like the old age disease that seemed to be spreading like the flu.. Um. But, he didn't need to know that. It was a fantastic school, overall. "Do you want to go to Hogwarts?" She asked, curiously.

Running sesh in Hogsmeade was just so much better than the pitch okay? Quidditch fitness, gosh it was tiring.
She'd never been here before. But she did happen to hear some bigger students talking about it back at the common room and the name had stuck out to her when she'd overheard it. Oops.
All of her Bond training had prepared her for this singular moment. The redhead had been waiting for an assailant to test her skills and while Kurumi wasn't ideal she'd do. Tumbling away from the attack, Selina tried to gain the upper hand by rolling up several snowballs and chucking them mercilessly at the bride-to-be.
WINNING!!! She wanted to do that.
Yet, when she picked up another snowball it kind of rolled out of her hand at the mention of white. The wedding. There Kurumi went bringing it up again. After promising Selina a day where they wouldn't stress about the wedding, Rumi had done NOTHING but talk about it. It was like she couldn't spend just one day without talking about it or Lewis.
And she was happy for her. She was. But Selina wanted a day without the looming reminder that APPARENTLY in three shorts months she would be Kurumi Rastings. Which meant a new chapter without Selina.

"Oh you haven't? Well there is a Joke Shop, if you are in the mood to prank people. There is a sweet shop and a supply shop just to name a few if you wanna go to those place..." he told him.

"Prank shop?" he asked with a raised brow. "That sounds promising."

Bentley held his mother's face and planted a sloppy kiss there then wiped her cheek right after. That was his I love you mommy kiss that she always demanded from him. "Fuuuuuuuuuuuun" He said in reply to his dad's question. His little backpack had cookies and chocolate frogs that he had weaseled from Alexa Cambridge and his new friend Cassia. Yep they gave him frogs whenever he asked them. He wiggled down from his mother and ran/walk to his grandmother who slowly (and painfully) scooped him up.
Sophia frowned at Dylan, scowled rather and focused her attention on Bentley, planting a kiss on his head. "Now you be good Ben and remember all that grandma told you, I'll be seeing you real soon." She slowly bent her aching back and released her grandson who ran walked back to his parents. "Don't you think that you should mind your own business..." She caught herself before calling him the M word.."Dylan? Hmmm? Haven't you butted in and ruined lives enough already?" She turned her attention now to her daughter who was visibly doing everything she could to not burst into tears.
Rhea released the specially made wedding invite that she had been hoping to give to her mother and left it to fall to the ground. She thought maybe over time and seeing that she had gotten to keep Bentley for those months that her mother would maybe finally forgive her and accept her back as her daughter but nope.
"Yes, ma'am.." She replied quietly.
Dylan grinned at his son as he greeted his mother in the way that he did when he was feeling affectionate. It would have been a heart-warming scene if it hadn't been for the sour faced battle axe that was Sophia Bellaire standing there. He ruffled Bentley's hair. “Well, you'll have to tell us all about it over ice-cream.” Nothing like buying your son's love in front of his evil grandmother. ..Ahem.
He stood back and allowed Bentley to say his goodbyes to his grandmother and somehow managed not to bristle at the scowl Sophia was giving him. Oh she could go ahead and believe she'd get to see Bentley soon. It wasn't going to happen on his watch. This ridiculous molly coddling of the boy by the woman and the rejection of her own daughter; it made no sense to the Irishman. “This is my business, Sophia.” He replied rather flatly. "My family being hurt is always my business." He shook his head and ignored her further comment. Blood purists were the worst. He had learned a long time ago that anything he said would fall onto deaf ears. Dismissed. Rejected. It was a wonder Rhea had grown up to be such a together and accepting human being. Yet another reason Dylan was proud to call her his.
Sophia was cruel. How a parent could do that to their own child Dylan couldn’t even begin to fathom. He sensed Rhea's anguish and had the urge to reach for her hand and comfort her. But if he knew women at all and Dylan knew women it would open the floodgates and the tears would start. He had no doubt she wanted to appear strong in front of her mother.
“Well, Sophia. You take care.” he said deciding to meet her coldness with what he hoped was friendliness but he knew it sounded forced. "Now." He smiled and clapped his hands once and then rubbed them together, his attention back on his family. “Shall we go and get that ice-cream?”

"Can you not? For five minutes?"
Freezing in place to bow in apology to Selina, Kurumi got pummeled by snowball after snowball. First on the top of her head, then the shoulder and middle of her chest and then one right smack in the middle of her face. Oookay, now she definitely couldn't see anymore. Snow in the eyes.
"S-S-Sorry," she stammered, both arms reaching out towards the sound of Selina's voice. "No more. I promise." Stumbling and reaching and more stumbling. How faraway had she wandered from Selina exactly? Squinting and blinking some more to melt the snow, she finally rubbed her eyes to remove what remained and found that she had stumbled her way in the opposite direction of where Selina was actually standing.
Snow in the ears. Yep. Must be the reason.
"I'LL EVEN PINKY SWEAR ON IT THIS TIME!" she called out, right pinky finger held up in the air.
She didn't mean to bring it up so much, like some crazy Bridezilla, but it was always on her mind. And no, like a fool she didn't really consider how annoying or disrespectful it could come across.
Yep, Bridezilla over here.

As she was continuing down the street, she soon caught sight of a girl who looked a little older than her, running about. What was she doing? It looked as if she were...training or something.
Looking through the gap of her stretched legs, Abbi could see a mouth on someone's forehead, along with a strange nose and eyes followed by some beard-like wool sort of a thing. Huh.
Her whole world was upside--
No. No. It all made sense now. Her head was upside down.
Abbi lifted her head up and turned around to look at the girl with the beanie. Her mouth and eyes had swapped, and her nose looked just as normal as ever. As for the beard like thing, the second year could now see it was a beanie. Gosh, How had she been so silly?
"You should see your face upside down, your hat looks like a beard that way." Giggle snorts happened as she neared the girl.

Where was Rumi even going? Selina just watched kind of confused at the direction in which her best friend was headed, which, for the record, was the EXACT opposite direction of where Selina was standing. Like the very opposite.
So she just watched and didn't help, because maybe she was a little irritated at Kurumi's mindset on the wedding. It was all day, everyday. In fact, that was kind of how she was about Lewis too. When was the last time they had a girl's day? UGH IT WAS ALL RASTINGS FAULT. He was gonna get kicked later. On accident of course. Because she would get in trouble if it were premeditated. Mhmm.
Sighing, she rubbed her temple, "I'm over here." Wave. Like waaaaaaay over here. Get your head in the game, Hollingberry.
As you make your way down the streets of Hogsmeade, a frigid wind blows through the December air. The air is certainly cold enough to make you want to tighten a scarf if you weren't already bundled up. But compared to the bitter cold that you may have gotten used to, this winter air seems almost mild.

it was rather cold outside, but Lux was still having a lot of fun. It was almost Christmas, and she had a wonderful date with Bay. Pausing every once in a while, she looked inside of ship windows. As of yet she wasn't sure where to go. Maybe The Three Broomsticks would be lovey.

Laura was walking around Hogsmeade trying to figure out where to go first, she had decided to come and see a few of her old school friends. She was just going to move on when suddenly she saw one of the persons she had promised she would see and that was why she was here.
She decided to sneak up on her friend and use her hands to cover her friends eyes and then said in her best adult voice. "Guess who?" Laura had missed Lux loads, well she had missed all her friends.
Connor was prepared for the cold now, he was all bundled up and was going to be sure not to be all freezing cold. Certainly not in front of Addi. Nope. He didn't wanna seem lame in front of her, she was older and cute..and stuff. He headed down the main road, this was where they agreed to meet. He still wasn't even sure if this was a date or not yet. But...he was hoping it was, really he was trying to move on with his life after this whole drama with Elodie. And Addi made him feel happy.
Unicorn mare and foal cantered down the streets in search of the rest of the herd and warmth. The mare was sure to position herself between her child and the humans as they made their way down the street.
Despite the fear in its eyes, the foal smelled something that pulled it's attention away from its mother and began cantering away from her. Neighing loudly, the mare slammed her front hooves against the cobbled street. But the foal paid no attention. It was hungry and with things being so icy and cold where they had come from it had been hard for it to have a full stomach for so long.

AAAH! Someone was covering her eyes! Startled, Lux gasped but then after a moment she realized that it was... "Laura!" Wow, the last time she had seen her friend was during the summer. That was a few months ago by now!
Smiling, she turned and gave her friend a hug. "How are you?" They needed to catch up and hopefully Laura wasn't sad about the Dylan thing anymore; if he was a bad boyfriend she deserved better. Bay would never kiss another girl or flirt with anyone else.
Hearing a SLAMing sound, Lux was first confused and then in awe. "Oh my god.... UNICORNS." What beautiful creatures they were. A little baby had wandered away and its mother was clearly feeling rather protective. But Lux couldn't help herself, she wanted to look at the pretty Unicorns. As long as she didn't try to touch them she would be okay, right?
Following its nose, the foal galloped onward and whinnied when it heard its mother's protest. Its tail swished back and forth, but did not return to her. It was hungry and it smelled food.
Was that human girl offering him food? The foal took a few cautious steps towards her...
