So it looked like Angel would be working with them too. Adi didn't mind. He shot her a sort of nervous look, wondering if she had told AJ about him being in love with her. Which was not true, thank you very much. Angel thought she knew stuff. Yep. That's what Adi liked about AJ. She always had a smart, funny comeback. He laughed. "So pleased I could put your restless mind at ease.'' Alright, time to get started on this activity. He glanced from AJ to Angel. "Any clue as to what scenario we should portray? And how we should portray it?'' He was up for any scenario. Portraying it was a whole different matter. |
Post 1 (Guess I'll start counting. :3) AJ caught the look that Adi gave Angel and couldn't help but to be curious as to what that was about. Maybe their little tiff with Benny was still fresh? The possibilities were endless, and she decided that she wouldn't waste energy thinking about it right now. Smiles, she was all smiles. "Now I know who to go to when I can't sleep." Adi was dead useful. The lion could sit here and jab at Adi all day, but they had work to do. Work that should actually be fun. Now it was time to start spitting out ideas. A few actually did come to mind. "We totally need a Yeti." any takers? CoughAdiCough. The professor did mention that there was a craft box so they could make one of them look like a yeti. The next order of business included singing. "We can sing a song about how the yetis are misunderstood while our very own yeti is looking all emo and depressed." Were they on the same page as her so far? "Then we can dance around and try to cheer him up by saying nice things about him." "What do you guys think?" |
Angel looked at AJ and beamed. "Yeah that would be awesome." Angel suddenly had the best idea. "Adi, you be the Yeti and AJ can say nice words about you and maybe do a few other things." Yeah because they were so in love and Angel didn't care what they both said, they looked like she did every time she thought about Benny, which reminded her, she hadn't spoken to him for awhile which was such a shame. "And I'll just do some random dancing." Angel thought that was the best plan, now what did the love birds say? |
Post 1 Smiling, laughing and grinning was something that Adi did a lot of but those three always seemed to multiply whenever AJ was around. Now he was laughing once again at her next comment. "I can sing you a lullaby or read a bedtime story too.'' Hehe. The Hufflepuff listened to AJ's suggestion. Aw darn. It involved singing and dancing. But...what if he took up the part of being Yeti? He wouldn't have to sing or dance, right? Hmmm. Just because he was into music meant he liked to do either. His vocals weren't that good and his dance moves were worst still. "Alright. I'll be the Yeti.'' Now he was getting all enthusiastic about this. "We've still got to come up with lyrics for the song.'' So, yeah. Maybe they could get started on that. |
Post 1 - *waves* Looking for people to work with me. ^_^ And this right here was why History of Magic was fast becoming one of her top favourite classes besides Astronomy and Potions. Acting in the small play they had performed last lesson had shown her just how fun acting could be. And now they got another chance to relive history through creative expression. After jotting down what was on the board, it was time for her to start with the group work. Well, she needed a group first. Scanning around the room, she tried to find someone who would want to work with her. "Anyone want to work with me?" |
For Zander and Simon Ohh, another cool lesson! Sophie loved History of Magic class now. Before, it was just regular old History and most of it was quill and parchment work. The last few professors did great, but this professor was all about some fun skits and things like that. This class was AWESOME. ...but before the awesomeness could begin, Sophie needed either a partner or a group. "Anybody need a partner? Or...a group?" she asked. She felt lame, like she was asking for friends. Heh. She looked awkwardly around the room hoping there was still somebody out there who needed somebody to work with. |
Oh nooooo! Not a group project. Jasmine really did not feel like doing the group thing. Couldn't she just do something by herself? Unfortunately the answer to that was probably no. Jasmine had no idea how to creatively express the woes and troubles of the Yeti. This whole project was going to be very difficult. Then there was the matter of who she could work with. The Gryffindor might have considered asking his detention-prone friend to form a group, but alas Kevin will always be Kevin. Anyways, he needed a group, worrying about Kevin would come later. Right then. Just as the Gryffindor got up and out of his chair, he noticed a girl asking around for a partner. Ah, he needed one. Wait a minute, was that the Newell girl he had spotted Grayson chatting up? Hm. Interesting. The Gryffindor walked up shyly and offered her a smile. "I'll work with you?" |
In case you want to interview a REAL YETI. NAMED BRUCE. So..................... pretty much Professor History LOVED Zahra. SHE WAS SO INSPIRING. YES HISTORY. YES YE YE YE YEEEETI! Less yay for whatever this CHORT thing was! Zahra went right to work, ripping out a rough sheet of parchment. She put her head down to her paper, DREW UP A MASTERPIECE, and taped it right to her face. She had made.... a Yeti Mask. "'ELLO EVERYONE. MY NAME IS BRUCE. I AM A YETI. I WILL BE TAKING QUESTIONS NOW. UNLESS YOU ARE A SLYTHERIN, THEN YOU CAN KINDLY GO PUT YOUR HEAD IN A POOPER BECAUSE THE HOUSE CUP BELONGS TO GRRRRRRRRRYFINDOR THIS YEAR! YAAAAAARRRRRRR GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!" |
Post 2 The smile never left AJ's face. Without missing a beat she said, "Not going to give me nightmares, are you?" He set himself up for that one. Could he even sing? She would soon find out because whether he knew it or not, she had plans on him singing during their presentation. Having her buddy back was such a good feeling. Peeling her eyes from Adi, she looked at Angel as she put in her two cents. Okay, so it seemed like they were all on the same page here. "Awesome." Then Adi agreed to be the yeti. YAY! This was going to be so much fun. "Can I dress you up, and make you a more convincing yeti?" Angel could help too so that could get that part done quicker. "We can do some lyrics that rhyme." Now, what would they be. Hmm... She pulled out a spare piece of parchment and scribbled down some things. Quill in her mouth, she contemplated what lyrics would sound good together. Quote:

Sophie and Zander! Was that Sophie Newell looking for a partner? Simon eyed his surroundings briefly looking for a certain fourth year Slytherin that he ALWAYS found sitting with that girl. When he couldn't see Grayson, Simon made his way over to Sophie to offer to join her. His eyes widened when he saw the Zander was there too. "Sure, I'll join you guys!" he exclaimed with a grin. "That is, if you'll both have me of course." The boy had a good feeling about this team. A very good feeling. |
Maddie Scenario? No, no... Mo was 100% sure that the yeti was an overprotective parent, but it was obvious he was the only one who believed it. For now. Maybe he could find a partner who believed that too? Or at least understood how amazing yetis were. Other than Kettleburn, because she was frightening and the fangs on her drawing were obviously disproportionately large and therefore designed specifically to cause alarm. Fear mongering. Kettleburn was a fear mongerer. Instead, Mo tapped Maddie on the head. "Be in my group, little buddy?" Little buddies were the easiest minds to mold to your will, y'know? |
Zander and Simon Text Cut: Zander and Simon! Sophie shifted her weight from one foot to the other. Waiting on a partner was awkward, but at least she didn't have to wait long. ZANDER had arrived to the rescue! Sophie didn't know Zander too well, but her friends were friends with him, so that made Zander a friend, too. "Yeah, cool," she said, grinning at him. She was just about to start talking to him about what he wanted to do for their assignment and final, when Simon joined in, too. "Of course we'll have you," she said to him. "So it's the three of us then." She may have also scanned the room for Grayson, kind of wishing he made group member number four, but she didn't really want to make it too obvious. "Anybody have any---..." Pause. "...ideas?" Her eyes had randomly landed on Zahra Kettleburn. So the Gryffindors wanted a little competition, hmm? Heh. Turning back to the boys, she said, "Let's do something funny--like that scenario about the hikers finding strange footprints. Or a funny song, heh." She wasn't much on singing, but she bet they could make some awesome lyrics. |
Post 1........Lux Jasmine saw her classmates starting to form groups and she wasn't sure what to do. Still wanting to go solo, she knew that she would have to approach someone about being in their group. Looking around the room one more time, she saw Lux asking for people to work with her. Jasmine walked over to Lux. "Is it OK if I work with you? I'm in need of a group." She hoped that Lux would agree to partner up with her. Jasmine also hoped that she would get some sudden inspiration and her mind would be flooded with great ideas. Well she could hope, couldn't she? |
for kitathecutie/grayson! post 1 The Professor had said a lot and Kyroh had been listening but he hadn't exactly been digesting if that made sense. It was just a LOT to take in at once. He KNEW they had to do yeti stuff and get in groups so THAT made sense to him. The first year looked around and frowned as Zahra started, well, yelling. And being Zahra and NOT a yeti. Choosing to IGNORE her he continued to look for someone who needed a partner. OH Grayson was just there alone! Though....he was a Slytherin, and Kyroh had been avoiding that lot. Especially since....well Grayson was friends with Cutty. Hesitant, Kyroh stood up and walked over to the Slytherin. He stood there for a bit. Looking at the other boy. Blinking. Blinking. Until finally he found his voice. "Uhhhh If I need a partner, and you need a partner. D'you want to be partners?" |
Mo! Group work was SORT of like survival of the fittest in that those who HAD something to offer were partnered off FIRST and those who DIDN'T were left to face the world ALONE. From the LOOKS of things, Maddie was going to guess that one Gryffindor lunatic wasn't so FIT. What was she DOING, anyway? Bruce was so not a proper yeti name. You know who WAS fit? "How good are you at acting? Unless you wanna try something else?" This made him the Yeti, didn't it? Freaking great. Yetis were ugly and he was a hottie, according to Soph. We could help anyone if needed.. mentions of Zhara She listened to the students answers after the Headmistress had taken Kevin out of the room. They had some great answers to Nessa's questions. How smart the students were, not that she didn't already know this. They were just brilliant in her lessons as well. She jumped when the young lion jumped on her desk, but snapped at her performance. Thinking about her lesson she remembered she was gong to get some hot chocolate before coming to the classroom. Oh well she'd grab some later. Focusing back on Nessa as she spoke, she grinned at how brilliant her bestie was at teaching. She snapped a bit at the excitement, but hurried to stop thinking she was probably being a distraction. OHMYGOSH!!! They were going to do group work! Oh Cassie was thrilled to get to see this. She snapped more when she saw Zhara with a mask being a Yeti. "OH GOSH, what a creative idea." She snapped more! This was just sooooo fun! |

Ethan looked around and pretty much everyone huddled and formed little groups…and he was…well, left alone. Blink. His eyes landed on the Gryffindor pretending to be a Yeti named Bruce, who is now up for an interview. But then, he’s a Slytherin…does that mean…no. There’s another way around this. Ethan got a piece of parchment, drew the most beautiful female Yeti, and taped it on his face. “BRUUUUCCEEE!!! YOOOOHOOOO!!!” Ethan may have batted his eyelashes behind the mask as he greeted the Gryffindor with a female voice. “I HAD MY WHISKERS DONE. DO YOU LIKE IIIIITTT???” Well, from what he gathered from the book, Yetis want to be left alone…Ethan then wondered how in Merlin’s socks they multiplied. Hmm? Oh and…it’s so weird to act as the girl in this interview-slash-skit(?) Just saying. |
