Walking down the first floor corridor, you hear the faint sounds of a song which gradually gets louder until you reach the History of Magic classroom. Not only does the music seem to be coming from the room, but you are also greeted with a large sign hanging outside the door.

Professor Glendower does not seem to be anywhere in sight once you come inside, but feel free to take a seat in one of the desk-arm chairs arranged in a semi-circle around the perimeter of the more casual classroom. Class should begin soon!

Which meant that they wouldn't use such slang. SIGH. This was going to be HARD.
"Of course, fair lady," he said, bowing his head slightly, "Needless to say, it's the best way." What were they talking about again? Apparently winning or losing. P S H. WhatEVER, Newell. "It'll be rude to point out to a maiden that she's wrong," LOL. Yeah, right! "so I'm going to let you find out for yourself." WAS this the right way to speak? Who knew.
And then came Kace! Who was calling him............ dude. DUDE. Grayson slapped the Hufflepuff on his arm. "That's SIR to you!" Fake!HMPH. "And you can team up with Victoria over there," he said, nodding over towards Annabeth. He probably knew her, anyways, since they were in te same house and whatnot. Meanwhile, sup Sophie, we're joining you. Double the awesome.
As for who Victoria was, he was NOT going to answer. Why? Because they were getting started and this was MUCH more important, thank you very much.

"OW!" he called, rubbing the back of his head where the BALL HAD RICOCHETED OFF OF. Yeah, that's right. A ball had bounced off of his head! What a blow to his ego. But ANYWAYS. There was no time to think about that because he was SURE that that was the sound of the dragon. There was no BIRD over here. None that he knew of, anyways. But since he couldn't see the dragon and he was SURE that his character wouldn't think that there was a dragon here, he was going to have to brush it aside. No looks of glee because dragons.
SIGH. This was HARD.
Instead, his character was going to pretend that he had heard things OR that it was nothing major and carry on with the game. Yeah. Collecting up the ball, he looked over at Sophie. "Hey! We're on the same TEAM." Meaning, let's try and WIN.
And with that, he served the ball over towards the other side. The Hufflepuff-but-not-really side.
ALRIGHT GAME TIME!!
Kace got his direction from Grayson and he went over to see the girl Annabeth. He smiled towards her. She did look familiar and nodded. "I am Kace.." Incase she forgotten his name or they never met before. Who knows? But he was prepared for some volleyball! Then he noticed Grayson was hit in the head. HAHAAHH!! He couldn't' help but chuckle at it. He smiled at Grayson but he seemed ready. He was even versing Sophie. Now this was gonna be fun!
He grinned and got in his stance. What they didn't know was he was a great volleyball player. He took some lessons and plus he played with his cousins during the summer. He made sure Annabeth was prepared. "You ready!?" he asked her. But before she could respond, he noticed the ball was going over the net and he bumped it over while he dived at it.

Mo's tail showed up, and he turned around to give her a broad grin. Hullo, there, tail. Oh. No grinning. No. Focus on staying in character. His grin disappeared and was replaced by that confused!dragon expression he was trying to adopt. Hopefully, his buddy-with-the-tail would understand that they were staying in character here.
The sunbathers were still gathering, and Mo didn't want to rush them along... but he was a dragon and dragons didn't wait until everyone was settled. Mo swished a bit of the potion in his mouth, without swallowing it, and breathed a little puff of fire to test. Perfect. Ready, sunbathers? Time for the shock of your old fashioned lives.
Oh, character, though. The ground is hot. It's noisy here, and not at all like my peaceful forest. Perhaps I'll fly out and land further down the beach, but if all those little wriggly human things start to scream and run around, it'll scare me and I'll go berzerkers.
Ready, tail? Mo lifted his arms again and was suddenly bearing down on the group of sunbathers. LOOKINGFORAPLACETOLANDMAKINGNOISEBREATHINGFIRE. ROOOOOOOOOOOAR.

Dragon!boy was smiling at her. Dragons weren't SUPPOSED to smile. And she wanted to smile BACK at him, but tails didn't smile EITHER. Pout.
Staying in character, Lux kept her movements as in-sync with dragon!boy as possible. BE THE TAIL, LUX. Be the best tail that anyone has ever acted as in a performance. Ooooooh, fire! That was so awesome and had to be the same potion that Professor Culloden had taught them last term.
Time for them to swoop in on the unsuspecting sunbathers; Lux eagerly adopted the positions she was sure that a dragon's tail would take while preparing to burn people to a crisp from the sky. RWAAAAAAAAAAAR.
Beverly blinked in (Chris')direction. RIGHT. She was his MUM. Come're sonny boy but not really. Glancing around, squinting at her surroundings and pretending it was all too noisy for the girl woman, Beverly let out a siiiigh.
"'Tis is a good spot...son. Please be a dear and set up a towel for me." She smiled at him forcefully and batted her eyelashes. That's what mum's did, right? She wouldn't know.
Wait, did sonny boy here hear something?
Beverly!Virginia raked the skies and--

"That's not a bird, it's a dragon!" Beverly!Virginia's eyes were wide with surprise and mock fear (she LOVES dragons, it was more like excitement, but shhh!) as she pointed up at the creature.
The Slytherin gave her ''''husband'''' a look. Didn't he know she wasn't shouting, but projecting her voice? Merlin, what an amateur. And he didn't know whether the sun was truly going to burn them or not. That was bad news.
But well, Agatha was already lying down tanning, so she didn't know what those other Toke family people were fussing over. And kids? What kids? The snake looked up at the Hufflepuff playing... whoever he was playing, and used her hand to block the sunlight from going STRAIGHT into her pretty eyes. Ouch.
What was he talking about anyway? Did Tilly have kids? She didn't know that. Or maybe she did and forgot about it. Agatha looked around, trying to find out who amongst those other people was playing her 'kids' when she heard a very odd squawking noise.
.....It wasn't time yet though, was it? The Slytheirn looked around and noticed no one was reacting to the noise yet, so she decided to let it pass too. Though maybe her classmates were just being silly and getting too much into character and were actually thinking about sunbathing and playing volleyball. Silly people.
Oh! OH! THE DRAGON WAS COMING.
Agatha jumped up at once and... didn't know what to do next. There was a bunch of Muggles around, were they supposed so whip their wand out and start jinxing the dragon or what?
...Alright, those people sunbathing should stop it NOW because there was a DRAGON coming. Agatha theatrically rushed towards them and gestured around. "Watch out!"Geestuuressss. Bee carefullll. The girl kept gesturing away as if to get them out of the way of the dragon. Moooooveeeee, Muggleessss.

Jasmine (alias: Mildred) relaxed and enjoying the lovely ocean breeze. She peered over the top of her pretend book and watched her fellow muggle sunbathers in action. She saw people playing volleyball, one person tripping over another and a few people who were talking rather loudly. Not a lot of interesting action going on if she did say so herself.
Jasmine was looking bored because she was beginning to think that nothing exciting would happen on her trip to the beach. At just that moment, Jasmine began to hear a roaring sound and it was not the ocean. The dragon players had started their pre-terrorizing run. The roaring was getting louder and louder and Jasmine looked around in confusion, trying to locate the source of the sound.

“Ooof! Hey, watch it!” cue the acting and whatnot. “How can you not see ME in my BOOTIFUL swimwear???” he asked as he removed his pretend sunglasses violently and sat up. “Oi.” He said as he threw his arms up in the air and flopped back down, then rolled to the side. “I’ll forget that you tripped on me if you got any pizza with you, dude.” Because food is the next best thing to naps, you see?
Real or not, however, Ethan was oblivious to Dragon Mo. Lying down was soooo much better.
PIZZA!? WHERE!? "Pizza!?" that simple five letter word was enough to make Jere look interested in the slightest as he looked around the room. Pizza where!? "i don't have pizza here." why would he bring pizza to class OR the beach for that matter. OH NO BIG DRAGON SEND HALP!! "oh no, look a dragon thing i think, run...." he was so into this, can't you tell? he was TRYING at least.

Zander added one final touch to his castle, and TADA! It is beautiful. MHM. It could definitely give Hogwarts a run for it's money. Now, to move on to another beautiful sand creation. Would could he make next? Perhaps he could create a whole sand village!

Before he could even lift up his shovel, he noticed the dragon making it's way overhead. Uh oh. BUT-BUT-BUT HE WASN'T NEARLY DONE WITH HIS SAND CITY! Couldn't they just prolong this bit of the scene for a tad moreeee? Pleaaaaseeee?
Wait. Zander didn't care about a sand village. Woah. He was really starting to get into character. Maybe this acting business isn't too bad after all? So uhum, what was a muggle supposed to do in reaction to a dragon? ... Scream? So yes, Zander let out a HUGE SCREAM in terror.
There. He had done his part. Can he leave now?

No such luck.
He couldn't walk around the classroom donning ladies swimwear. No, no. Not happening. Buuuuut, he'd miss out on the role-playing bit. Slowly, cautiously, his tiny hand reached for the outfit, wincing upon touching the fabric as if the mere touch of it burned. Inside, he was on the verge of tears. With a surreptitious glance around, Damian began to stuff himself inside the costume, which then magically adjusted itself to fit him, eliciting a jump out of him. He'd never get used to magic. Sigh.
Oh, boy. His cheeks were on fire, and he was already sweating. Okay. Deep breaths. Deep breaths. Eyes closed, the first year tried to relax, imagining himself at the beach, wearing women's swimwear, the sun blazing in all its glory. And then, out of nowhere, his grandma popped into his head, and so did an idea. He'd role play as his grandma sunbathing in Ilfracombe!
Pure genius. Smiling, he made his way over to a group of muggle sunbathers, and plopped down next to a boy. Oooooh, wasn't he that Ravenclaw . . . never mind. "Here you go, deary." Damian said in sweet, quavering tones, shoving an imaginary tube of sunscreen in the boy's hand. "You don't want a nasty sunburn, now do you?" He patted the Ravenclaw's head, like his own grandma did whenever he watered her cactus.
The Professor was saying something but Kyroh didn't hear at all. You know why? Because there WAS no History of Magic Professor on a MUGGLE beach, alright?
But what there was, was lack of sunscreen.
He was going to burn! Into a crisp! Burrrrrn. Buuuuurrn. Why had his parents thought it had been a good idea to go to the beach. What could be worse. He was even going to start rolling around in the sand because maybe THAT would help but then a boy sat down beside him and held out his hand. Wait- boy. Girl Swimsuit? Kyroh blinked. Shaky voice boy.... in a girl swimsuit?

The idea was genius. Why hadn't he thought of that? Suddenly the whole incident from earlier evaporated from Kyrohs brain. "No I do not! Thank you sir!-Ma'am! Ma'am sir!.....Lady." Thanks LADDDY. "Morty Mortimer thanks you!" Because that was his Muggle name. Yup. He had decided right there and then because...well it sounded old and Mugglelike. The first year GRINNED at the other boy and pretended to squeeze the imaginary bottle of sunscreen and rubbed it on his arms and legs. He was JUST about to be finished when he heard a squawking noise?
"AH is that my neck?! Is my neck burning up Madam!?" Bad bad bad! He couldn't go home with a sunburnt neck!
But then someone yelled watch out. Watch out for wha-AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!?!??! WHAT IN THE WORLD WAS THAT!?!? "IT'S A-CREATURE-LIKE-LIZARD-LIKE THINGY MO-BOB!!!!!!! It was uh- what was that creature that Muggles were scared of? Not dragons but that giant lizard. Kyroh paused to think about the name...it was....it was........"IT'S GODZILLA!!!" Kyroh yelled out jumping to his feet and pointing to the sky. Wait....was Godzilla created in the 1930's?....."But if Godzilla isn't a thing yet just ignore me and stuff. AHH FLYING LIZARD THINGY RUN!" Yeah. He covered that up nicely.
Annnnnd now it was time for Morty Mortimer to leave! He turned about to go but- OLD LADY! "Ma'am. We might be eaten and stuff. I think we should run. And if you don't want to run....i'm gonna run so thanks for the sun screen."

So Leah had to be a muggle sunbather. She would have loved a more important character, but oh well this was fine too. Pulling on the bathing suit, she turned around once and looked down at her appearance before getting into character immediately. Carrying a beach towel, she walked towards the beach and lay down on the sand. It was warm unlike the real temperature and Leah felt like staying here forever.
But then the dragon came. The second year pretended to wake up from a nap and looked around lazily. Then she did a double take at the dragon and opened her eyes wide. Cue a scream. "Aaaaaaahhh!" she stood up, fell down once (yes she was a good actress) and spotted a Ravenclaw boy yelling. "It's a GODZILLA! What's a Godzilla?" she yelled. But she ran in the opposite direction anyway, grabbing someone (Zander)'s hand on the way. "Come on, bro, don't just sit there waiting for Godzilla or something to kill you." The girl pulled the boy along with her.
Angel was just sunbathing, well that was what you did at a beach, it was either that or have a massive party but since the Professor probably wouldn't like her classroom all messed up she decided that she would just do a few girly stuff on the beach, instead of doing all the funny stuff.
Angel was sunbathing when suddenly she saw something big in the sky, at first she thought it was a bird but then she realised it was too big to be a bird, okay she could scratch bird of the list, was it a plane, now maybe that was what it was but this plane looked weird if it was, maybe the military was trying out a new type of plane, that was secret but then again the papers were normally all over things like that.

"GUY It's a DRAGON!!!!!!" Angel was scared now, "EVERYONE IT'S A DRAGON!!" Angel was now feeling more happy. "NO ONE IS GOING TO BELIEVE THIS!!" Weren't Dragons not real? though some people said they were but she didn't believe them. "I'm dreaming right?" Angel didn't know if to run away or towards the water, Dragons didn't like water right, and there was no way one could out run a dragon right.
Lucy was lying quiet when she saw the sky darken..
She thought it was a cloud,but she opened her eyes and she remained petrified..
It was not a cloud but a huge animal that looked like a dragon..
In the meantime someone was screaming and Lucy looked around..
She wanted to run away but her legs were blocked by fear..
Lucy began to shout:"HELP!!! THERE IS A DRAGON! A DRAGON IS COMING!!
HELP!!!!! Mom, Dad where are you!!
SOMEONE HELP ME!!!"

What a wonderful day on the beach! The eight year old ran around the beach without a care in the world. The sand was in between her toes, and she giggled as her hair blew out behind her.
The water looked enticing and she wanted so badly to go and splash herself clean in it. Looking around for her siblings and parents, it seemed like the coast was clear. Knowing good and well that her parents would most likely be mad if she ventured too far into the water she decided to keep pretty close to the shore.
Cool water washed the sand off of her feet and she immediately threw her whole body in the water and splish splashed. This was the life.

So they were getting started, then? Maddie was impressed with the whole beach scene that was going on. She hadn't properly been to the beach since she was small so it was nice to have that background to work with though she WAS curious about how the professor had managed this. Could she learn TOO? Turning their dorm room into a jungle might be fun. Perhaps she'd ask about it at the end of class or something. Yeah.
Deciding that what HER character was going to do was RELAX, the small first year took a seat in the "sand" and propped herself up on her elbows, watching the people playing volleyball with mild interest. Well she WAS watching until her buddy, Mo the dragon, came storming the beach in all his dragony glory. WELL, time to panic, she guessed.
Standing up, the twelve year old stood frozen to the spot. People froze when they were afraid, yeah? Yeah, so this was totally legit. She made her brown eyes big and she made her chin wobble because there was a BIG THING coming towards her and she'd NEVER seen one of those before EVER but she'd IMAGINED them in her DREAMS and she DIDN'T want to get EATEN but she was TOO afraid to move! Gosh, talk about good acting!
Maybe she'd get a dramatic death scene if this kept up. Something worthy of an award, clearly. Was Mo going to stomp her?
Since Zahra couldn't be the dragon, which was the most disappointing thing to happen to her... ever - Zahra chose to be a seagull. NOT A BEACH WITHOUT A SEAGULL. So while everyone jumped at being muggles, Zahra was taping parchment WINGS to her arms.
Now that the dragon was on the scene, Zahra FLEW IN. Haha! She made sure to "POOP" on all the Ravenclaws, especially the ones with their MOUTHS OPEN IN SCREAMS.
Seagulls weren't afraid of dragons. Seagulls and dragons were friends.
"YOU JUST GOT POOPED ON, CAW CAW TWEET TWEET," Zahra told whatever Ravenclaw happened to be nearby. In BIRD, she told the BEACH GOERS that a dragon was coming, "CAWWWWWWWWW CAWWWWWWWW CAAAWWWW HAHAHA CAW CAW TWEETILY TWOOOO."

Cris first heard his 'mother' correct him on that huge bird assumption. "Oh it's a dragon, right. DRAGON!! What? Where??" Cris allowed his character to finally comprehend what his character's mother was telling him.
By now he could see what some of the other 'muggles' were seeing. Cris held back a laugh when he saw Mo approaching in his dragon suit, with his 'tail' (Lux) following closely behind waving her stick 'tail'.
Okay, this was the time for the Toke family to shine!! Cris immediately leaped up from the 'blanket' he was sitting on. "Tilly, (Agatha), Thomas (Adi) where are the children? Mother, the muggles are in danger. We need to protect them. What should we do?," Cris asked his 'mother' (Beverly)."

Caleb had so much fun watching everyone act like loons that he almost forgot to do the acting himself! How could it be helped though, with one child crying out about Godzilla and Zahra pretending to poop on people? It was hysterical! Was she filming them with a camera? Oh, he hoped so!
But right, he had to get into his part! He quickly scrambled into his costume - which was an absolutely atrocious swimming costume from the 30s, gosh this must have been a PAIN when it got all wet - and then ran into the action.
"DRAGON?! HOLY COW, JEEPERS, GREAT SCOTT, IT IS A DRAGON! AND LOOK OUT FOR THE SEAGULL! THEY MIGHT BE WORKING TOGETHER TO CAUSE CHAOS AND DESTRUCTION!" he cried before running and hiding behind Sophie in a dramatic fashion.
He was so good at acting.

AJ was enjoying her character. She continued on splashing in the water, and when it was apparent that screams were happening she finally turned her head to see what all the fuss was about. "Ohhh... look a dragon." Where was her family exactly? Did they even realize that she was kind of missing?
Well, she knew where she was and the beach wasn't that big, but considering there was a dragon on the loose she figured her parents would be looking for her. More than likely they would be concerned with the whole dragon eating the muggle volleyball players things, but meh this water was nice.

Splish, splash. The sun was nice on her skin and all the sand was gone from her body. As soon as she was good and submerged a familiar voice was upon her. "Hey dad." Their was urgency in his voice. "Aw man, I just got in here too." Yeah, there was a dragon, but they could sort him out without her having to get out of the water right?
Realizing that a dragon was a big deal, she decided to let her dad pull her up by her arm, and not fight him on it. "What are we going to do? Will he eat us?" Or burn us alive with her fiery dragon breath?

Sophie was busy watching the volleyball soar over the net and waiting for it to be served back to her side. This part wasn't acting. The part where she was really getting into this volleyball game was real. She almost forgot this was History of Magic class and that she was acting out a skit in which she, a Muggle, was about to get attacked by a random dragon.
It was all thanks to her brother that she suddenly remembered. She heard him before she saw him. Then she felt him move behind her in a hiding position. Was her Muggle self meant to know Caleb's Muggle self? She decided to go with no. "Who are YOU?" she asked, turning around to look at him. "What do you mean dragon? There's no such thing as dragons." Somebody had been watching too many Disney movies.
Then Muggle Sophie turned out to spot the dragon. WHAAAA. "Dr...Dra...DRA---RUN!" she exclaimed. She flailed around so much that she didn't notice herself randomly punch one of beach balls across the way. It sailed through the air and toward that Agatha girl she'd seen once or twice in classes and in the common room. Oops. She'd apologize later, but for now--DRAGON!

"Seagulls can't talk."
Maddison ROLLED her eyes at the seagull that was the Gryffindor girl who'd threatened to give swirlies to Ravenclaws. She was QUICKLY becoming someone the small brunette would very much like to see eaten by a dragon. Could Mo come over and "nom" her or? And okay, Dima had said he was related to this person in some kind of way but STILL. Maddie wasn't a fan. NOT that she showed it. She was going to IGNORE the bird.
Weren't seagulls like the rats of the bird world or something? Seemed legit that THAT girl would BE one. YUP.
Snapping out of her "frozen shocked state", the first year headed off into the crowd of people running from the "dragon". She waved her arms in the air a bit for dramatic effect and MIGHT have whacked a classmate on accident in the process but there was a DRAGON! This is what happens when the creatures wind up on beaches with muggles.
At last, the class was all in costume and had begun to take their places on the set. Nessa watched intently as the scene began to unfold - the Muggle vacationers, along with the Wizarding Toke family, all doing beachy things and happily unaware of the danger about to befall them. Oh the suspense!
And what amazing little performers she had! All doing such a wonderful job of getting into character.. she could really believe that she was at the beach in 1932. She beamed at and nodded approvingly here and there at the students as they continued acting their parts.. her brown eyes soon snapped to the side of the room as the dragon began to make himself known. This was so exciting!
Her hand balled into a fist in front of her mouth, she bit on her knuckle as she watched the action unfold. And then.. a seagull? How inventive! Nessa beamed approvingly at Zahra as she acted out the part, then turned her eyes on the 'Muggles' and the 'Tokes' as they began to react accordingly. Such chaos!! She was so pleased that she wanted to applaud how well they were doing, but she didn't dare just yet, not wanting to snap anyone out of character.
OOC - You guys are doing amazing! *squishes you all* We should next be moving into the Toke family fending off the dragon (no real spells of course lol), then taking care of the Muggles.. then we'll move onto the next scene. I do need to close this class tomorrow night, so we have about 34 hours to finish up. Keep up the great work! *loves*

Angel was laughing. "A dragon, here at a beach?" Angel had decided she was daydreaming and would wake up any minute. "Why would a dragon, go to the one place it didn't want to be, near water." Angel just stood there looking at it. "Seriously everyone a dragon hates water, it's just a new fangled plane that the Military are working on in secret, something to scare everyone to death with." She had said what was on her mind, no way was a dragon at this beach, no sire, no chance what so ever was a dragon at this beach.

Grayson had gotten struck with the volleyball, which pretty much made Sophie's day. It had been HILARIOUS. She tried to stifle a laugh as she watched Grayson collect the ball and serve it to the other side. "Sorry, Grayson," she said with a laugh. "That was funny, though...wasn't it?" Hmm? Hmm?
Then there was the dragon.
"What's that squawking noise?" she asked to nobody in particular.

Kace got his direction from Grayson and he went over to see the girl Annabeth. He smiled towards her. She did look familiar and nodded. "I am Kace.." Incase she forgotten his name or they never met before. Who knows? But he was prepared for some volleyball! Then he noticed Grayson was hit in the head. HAHAAHH!! He couldn't' help but chuckle at it. He smiled at Grayson but he seemed ready. He was even versing Sophie. Now this was gonna be fun!
He grinned and got in his stance. What they didn't know was he was a great volleyball player. He took some lessons and plus he played with his cousins during the summer. He made sure Annabeth was prepared. "You ready!?" he asked her. But before she could respond, he noticed the ball was going over the net and he bumped it over while he dived at it.
Compliment a girl and they start looking at the finer details of the compliment instead of actually accepting it. JEEZ.
Grayson looked over at Sophie and raised his eyebrows. Of course they weren't the sunbathers. He wasn't DUMB. "Sign of respect." Wink. Soooooo there was nothing to take offence from it. None whatsoever. And to show that, the fourth year shot a smile her way before focusing on wherever the ball was. He had this being a 1900s muggle person acting under control. Uh huh.
Which was in Kace's hands. After the boy, and Sophie had a good ol' laugh at him. Good to know, guys. He resisted the urge to laugh himself and, instead, shook his head. See? He wasn't even MAD. Mainly because the girl had said SORRY. "Yeah yeah, MAYBE it was funny. Maybe I SHOULD be scared of--"
Wait. No. Muggle person, remember? Someone who would be SCARED of the awesome creature that the older Ravenclaw and Lux were portraying. SIGH.
Right. Freak out? FREAK. OUT.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH! DRAGOOOOOOOOON!" Cue some overdramatic flailing and pointing over towards the SCARY MAGICAL CREATURE OVER THERE. "Somebody doooooooooooo something!" Like NOW, thank you, otherwise his character person was going to scream himself hoarse.
He hated this. HE wanted to be the one fending off the dragon.
And why was the other boy hiding behind Sophie? Could he hide as well? No. Instead, he was going to panic. Uh huh. More frantic flailing or whatever.
