"Cheating? No. It's called outsmarting a Professor. When you get older you'll appreciate the art more. Now what'd I tell you about that game we were playing?" You know, the not thinking like a Ravenclaw...it now extended to Hufflepuff as well. Stop it, Toussaint. Gryffindor up--though this was arguably a snake move. Didn't matter. Stop trying to do the right thing.

Prefect of the year. Ex-Prefect anyway.

"Not telling you and you can guess after we're done. One more taste." She said, cutting a piece from the one they'd made in the kitchen this time. It wasn't as hot as the first, you think the overthinker would figure that out but this worked out just fine for her so she wouldn't complain. "Here we go." She said, stuffing the bite into his mouth like the first.
All it'd take is a few chews, some swallowing and they could call it a day.

Lex sat, letting him work through the flavour and all that important stuff. When she thought he was done she reached over and removed the blindfold. "Well? Which one was the kenaz and which one was the kitchen fireplace?"

She fished a quill and a piece of parchment from her bag she'd carried along, waiting to get his reaction...observations...whatever.

This game sounded strangely like cheating, it REALLY did... but he didn't actually take the class, so he wasn't cheating, right? Dima desperately clung to that thought as he down the second bit of omelette she gave him. It tasted like... vegetables. Ew. EW, vegetables.

They shoulda put ice cream inside of it instead.

"This one's colder." Paaause. "Oh! Is the first one the one we JUST made, and the one I ate second was the kitchen one?"

Did he win?!

With the quill ready to start jotting, she dropped the tie on his lap for him to deal with however he wanted. She just needed his guesses.

She could never write that down. This....this right here was what lies were made of. Lex gave him a thumbs up for his efforts then began scribbling. Falsifying documents was totally allowed when you worked with your objective judge that wasn't so objective afterall. It would never do to tell it straight like this.

With a point and a flick of her wand she duplicated the parchment. "You can have this, in case you wanna earn some extra points for your house--just....don't use the exact same words, okay?....Maybe raise your year a bit....yeah...that'd help too and don't mention we worked together, that part's not important. If you're really interested just write some thoughts on what you see written here then turn it in to the dropbox at the Professor's Office." And yes Dima, she knew they were lies. Let's not question it, yeah?

Bay had sent a message to Lux to try his cookies that he made for Acient runes homework, he kind of felt bad because he knew that one of the batches were burnt and he didn't want her to eat the bad cookies but he knew that his homework was due today and she had agreed to help him.

Sitting down at the Gryffindor Table he waited for her to show up.

There was no way that Lux would ever miss out on taste testing Bay's food. For one thing, it was Bay. For another, when would she ever turn down eating? Not very often. Exceptions could be made for gross things like mushrooms or bugs.

Waving eagerly, she joined him at the table. "Your taste tester has arrived!" Beam.

Bay was so glad when he saw Lux come in the room and she seemed excited. Alrighty it was time to get to business. Bay had brought his two boxes and hopefully they were still warm, he stood up and opened each box and took one cookie each from them and placed each on a napkin in front of their boxes. Taking a quick look under the boxes for he wrote which one was made in which. okay he had to make sure that she didn't get them mixed up.

"Alright love, each cookie in front of the boxes are a sample of the batches i made in either the kitchens or the AR lab, if you could try not to get them mixed up that would be awesome." he smiled at her as he continued "alright so now that, thats out of the way go ahead and take a bite" he hoped she wouldn't spit them out.

He handed her the bad batch of cookies first. "lets have you try this one first" fingers crossed he wouldn't get slapped.

Emmylou skipped over to her house table with a bag full of bright purple and medium green hard candies. The candies had some white powdered sugar sprinkled on them and there were many different shapes and sizes. Most of the candies took a triangular shape to them.

As she skipped over to the table Emmylou saw her two best friends. "Bay! Luxness!" she beamed at her friends. She took a seat across from the two of them and put her bag of candies on the table. "Anyone want to try some of my homemade hard candies I had to make for Ancient Runes homework?" she asked. She really hoped that one of them would want to test it out. She didn't want to miss out any homework and lose points.

Taking a seat besides Bay, Lux was tempted to give him a kiss but decided that it wasn't professional for something as serious as a taste test. Instead, she rubbed her hands together in anticipation while he took one cookie out of each box. "Got it, babe!" she told him as he explained what they were doing. Seemed simple enough to her.

Taking a bite of the first cookie, Lux made a face. "These ones sure spent a lot of time on the fire." Yuck. It was all burnt.

Swallowing, she noticed that Emmy had joined them. "Hey, Emmy! I'd love to try your food, but I'm already taste testing for Bay." But she was sure that he would definitely want to try them!

Okay, while he was waiting for Lux to say something Emmy came up and said she needed someone to try her hard candies! "I can-----" thats when Lux said that those cookies had to much time on the fire. Going over to the table he poured her a glass of water to wash the taste out of her mouth. "here you go, I'm sorry" ughhh his cooking skills were terrible. Picking up the other cookie he handed to her as well. "after you water try this one" he knew these ones looked better they weren't burnt for one thing.

Turning his attention back to Emmy he continued.. "I can totally try those hard candies for you" he tried to control his hands because he totally wanted to grab the bag right out of her hands.

Awwww, Lux felt bad now. "It's okay, sweetie." She patted his hand affectionately. They weren't that bad; still edible. And she'd like anything he made even if it was burnt.

After sipping the water, she took the other cookie. It was much better. "These are delicious. Can I have more?" This cookie wasn't burnt, and it was all chocolatey and yummy. It would taste amazing with some milk! "Okay, I'm going to guess that the first batch I tried was made using the Rune because it was burnt. I think that it was harder to control the flame. But making it in the kitchens would be easier, because that was the more standard way of doing it." Did she make any sense? Lux hoped so.

The third year frowned a bit. She felt like she was ruining a date of theirs or something. Maybe they wanted to be alone? Emmylou felt like she should walk away. She didn't want to but that's how she felt. She was happy that the both of them were happy but he didn't want to ruin their happiness because she was bugging them.

Emmylou gave a small smile and a wave to Luxness. "Hey." she said as she put the bag of candy on the table. Emmylou blinked at Bay. Is that the way she looked when there was candy around or when she wanted someone else's candy? O_______________O "Here." she smiled at Bay and handed him a few green candies. Those ones were the ones she made in the kitchen. They were sour apple flavored and she was pretty sure that the candies were over cooked. She had better luck with the fire.

Seeing her eat the good ones made Bay feel better. "thanks…" he said with a huge smile and she wanted more "sure help yourself to that box" he said pointing to the box with the good cookies in them.

She was so right. "your so right, it was so hard for me to control the heat" he said as he looked in the box with the burnt cookies.. ewwwww, he had to make sure that he would throw those out afterwards. "I think i'd like one too" he said while grabbing a good one and eating it.. holding out the box he offered Emmy one. "hey do you want one of these." nothing wrong with cookies.. yum…

AND WAIT, he put down his own cookie to take the candy from Emmy.. he popped it in his mouth with out hesitation. "these are good!" he said with a big smile, he rolled the candy around in his mouth a bit more… it kind of tasted a little off but the green apple flavour kind of masked it. but it was still good none the less.

Happily Lux took another one of the good cookies and ate it in no time. "I'm going to ask you to make these for me from now on. Is that okay?" If he didn't want to do that, it was fine with her; she would understand. And it was totally awesome that she guessed it right. "I know you so well." Hehe. Yummy cookies.

Seeing the candy, Lux decided she wanted to try some too. "Can I have a taste? I've never tried homemade candy."

Thank goodness for her Aunt Raeanne who had given her the recipe, she was so grateful. Gross, cookies. Well the third year didn't hate cookies she just didn't think they were as good as candy or cupcakes or cake. Sugar cookies were yummy and those other muggle cookies that you make from a tin can or whatever it is for Christmas time are. They were really good and she didn't know why they were so good. "No, thank you." She shook her head at Bay. O_______________O "So the green ones taste good?" She was confused because she thought that they wouldn't be good. "Do you think I made those on the stove or with the fire?" She needed to know these things for the future and maybe she wasn't really that bad at cooking on a stove. "Of course you can." Emmylou pushed some purple and green hard candies towards Luxness as she gave Bay a weird look just because she was shocked that the green candies tasted good.

Mackenzie made her way down the side of the Gryffindor table until she was between the front and middle, she decided that she really wanted some hot chocolate to warm her up. She sat down and then a mug appeared, the steam rolled off the dark colored liquid.

She wrapped her hands around the crimson colored ceramic mug, and carefully put it to her mouth and slowly drank in the hot liquid. Mack's green eyes closed as she felt her insides warm as the drink made it's way to her stomach.

She sat in the quiet area and enjoyed the warmth.

The air outside has certainly made its frosty presence known, seeping through minute cracks in the castle that were previously undiscovered by wind, rain, or creature. The enchanted ceiling has lately reflected this turn of events via constantly dim, gray cloud cover. But there seems to be a difference this evening as the dinner rush begins and a strange, cold dust accumulates on tables, benches, floor, and even heads. Could those be..? Surely not... Are those really SNOWFLAKES?!

It is officially snowing inside Hogwarts.

He had been seated at the Gryffindor table, enjoying his third plate of food now that he wasn't sick anymore and had his stregth back when the first few drops of snow landed on the table in front of him. The second year frowned and as he put another chicken wing in his mouth, he looked up to the ceiling. More white snow fell down from the ceiling and don to the ground.

Was it strange that he wasn't THAT surprised by that it was snowing inside the castle. WAIT...IT WAS SNOWING INSIDE THE CASTLE?!

Oh come on! He had just gotten better! He didn't want to leave his food though, so instead of leaving the Gryffindor continuedeating.

Angel had decided to get something to eat, because she was hungry when she suddenly saw Kevin at the table. "Hello blush boy." Angel giggled as she remember how she had made Kevin blush, then she suddenly realised something.

Was it actually snowing in Hogwarts?

"Okay Kevin, we all know you like a prank but well it's snowing enough outside without you making it snow inside." Angel was sure that Kevin was behind this, it was obviously a joke gone wrong.

Sensing a presence nearby, Kevin did something odd by slightly jumping in shock and snapped his head in the direction of where he felt it. His eyes were wide but when he realised that it was just Angel so sighed in relief. Ever since he had stolen Flamsteed's blanket, the Gryffindor had been on his toes trying not to get seen by the man. So knowing that it was just Angel, he actually appreciated her company right now.

Of course he wouldn't let that show.

Blush boy?! Kevin narrowed his eyes and drew his wand before pointing it at her. "If you like your hair i suggest you don't ever say that again" he warned. A simple incendio would do the trick you know. He pocketed his wand back in his wrist holster and returned to eating the chicken wing.

But he wasn't able to enjoy his food because Angel began accusing him of someting he hadn't done. "You really think i'd be here if i had done this?" he asked, rolling his eyes. "No i didn't do this, it just started like that" he looked up at the ceiling "Why though?" MYSTERY~!

Angel looked at Kevin as he threated her, she then rolled her eyes at him. "You do know that I've learnt a few spells or better still I'd just hit you if you ever touched my hair again." Angel had no idea what was going on with Kevin, he could be nice sometimes but then he could be annoying.

Angel giggled. "You seem to like enjoying seeing your work." Angel then looked straight into Kevin's eyes. "You should see the look on your face." Now Angel was even with him. "Someone is obviously playing tricks or the weather outside has somehow got inside as well." Angel sighed, "though I hope not."

She was adorable when she was threatening back, really. Kevin just smirked and shrugged his shoulders. "Oh yeah? what you learned? wingardium leviosa?" bwahahaha! But still, her words of hitting him if spells didn't work made him raise an eyebrow. "You would actually do that?" he gasped mockingly. "You would really hit a fellow house mate? where's your house spirit?" Even someone who didn't know Kevin would know that he was just mocking her and before he got back to eating he rolled his eyes at her.

The snow was definitely not natural. Or maybe it was? if it really came from outside of the castle it had to be real snow. "Maybe the Headmistress charmed the ceiling to make it snow because its winter..its still winter right? i can't tell the difference because of the snowpocolypse" and was Angel going to sit down and eat something as well or not?

Angel smirked. "I've learnt a few spells." Angel giggled as she smirked at Kevin. "Oh I help people who has house spirit, but since you don't have any house spirit yourself I won't help you." Angel looked around seeing the snow falling.

"Maybe, but I tell you it's getting cold in here." Angel was wishing she had put a jumper on or something. "Yeah, I am." Angel sat down and started to eat, she had no idea what else to say to Kevin.
