The Lions sit under a beautiful scarlet and gold banner representing their house. Their solid, shiny wooden table is nicely polished with all the place settings perfectly set. The food will arrive after the Headmistress' traditional feast speech. To all Gryffindors, both new and old: enjoy the feast!

Or, at least, she could act tough. It was one of the faces she could put on, being a future actress and all. But extra protection wouldn't hurt. And her face was just to pretty to be put at risk.
However, the risk of danger was pretty low at the present time. All of the staff and other security people were at the feast. The only real danger would be the Quidditch addicts rebelling, Cambridge in particular. Demelza had heard all the stories about her cracking skulls and breaking bones. But the odds were that she would be safe if there was a sort of rebellion. She was, after all, the one that didn't cancel the sport. Plus she could use Zander as backup, just in case.
Before replying to Zander, she took a bite of food and nodded her head. So he was extremely shy. The slight stuttering and the blushing made sense now. Demelza gave him a sympathetic look. She never had been a shy person herself, but she could imagine what it must be like. "Well, you are definitely starting off in the right place. I could maybe help you out with a thing or two, if you are interested. I'm going to be a professional actress when I graduate, so being social and all of that is kind of my thing."
Zander looked down at the plate of food he had barely touched throughout the feast. Maybe he should begin eating some before it ended. Taking his fork he scooped up some of his mashed potatoes and looked up as Demeiza began speaking again. WAIT. She would help him!? But she's a seventh year. Don't seventh years have much more important things to do than help stupid little third years like him? "Woah. A professional actress." At this point Zander completely forgot that she had just offered her help. "A professional actress, like on television and stuff?" That's so cool. In awe of her declaration, Zander even forgot he was supposed to be nervous about talking to this girl he had just met.
Maybe one day he'd see her guest starring in his favorite shows and he could tell all his friends (assuming he finally makes some this year), that he Zander Adair, knows that girl.Wait, hadn't she asked him something? Oh, yeah. "I'd love the help! I'm just having a hard time approaching people. It's never really been my thing, but my parents think I need to expand my horizons, or something like that." And though he didn't want to admit that they were right, he did need to "expand horizons". Whatever that meant anyway.

O______________o
Why couldn't Adi leave it alone.
"I... I... eh." Angel was blushing she could tell. "I do, I just don't seem to be able to call you it." Angel lied, she hadn't called anyone cute before, she normally thought all guys were icky. She stared at Adi when he started to sing a song because she was getting upset, why couldn't he leave it alone.
Angel smiled at Benny. "Awesome." Angel didn't care if Adi came with them or not, she'd rather just spend the full day with Benny on her own and maybe she would try and get Adi out of the way somehow because he seemed to like making fun of her and Angel didn't like that.
"Who is Sophie?" Angel asked, was that Adi's girlfriend because if it was she was going to tell her all about her Adi was upsetting a first year at Hogwarts and how he had been really bad. so take that Mr Adi! Angel looked around and smiled as she ate something before speaking to Benny. "So C.. Benny what is there to do at Hogwarts when there's no lesson?" Angel had just heard about the cancellation of something called Quidditch.
Benny wasn't that aware of the opposite gender but even still he could see that Angel was being bothered by Adi's actions. Even more so perhaps than he himself was and he just wished his friend would let it go. At least for now. For both of their sakes if not just for he his friend. At least the first year seemed excited about spending time with them despite the teasing.
And he was so glad to get off the topic of the two of them that the third year didn't register that her question was a repeat of one from the train. "There's gobstones which is a game and a book club and other stuff the staff comes up with." That was besides the quidditch that had already been cancelled and therefore left out of the list this time around.

"Hi Adi." Angel decided that was the best thing to do, as for Ben or should she say Mr Cutie-Pie has was just being his normal self, she hoped he'd talk to her more later.
Angel looked at Aubrey again. "I have no idea, but I've heard that they have a mixture of all sorts, like fish and chips, and mash potatoes and gravy and things like that." Angel really thought it would be cool if they did have.
Angel then watch Aubrey do the opposite of what she said. "OMG!!" Angel cried with laughter. "yo.....yo...you...." Angel was struggling to control herself. "You... sho...shoul....should s....e see your.... your.... yourself." Angel finally managed to get what she wanted to say out. "I must admit though.... I do... I do... sound like.... like mum.... when... when I..... I go..... like that." Angel continued to giggle as she looked at her sister.
Listening to Angel describe the possible food choices only made her stomach growl that much more. Really any food would be good at this point, but she was hoping for a bit more assortment. She wanted to try something new and exciting. ”I really want to try something new.
AJ was about to talk more about food when she caught a weird gleam in her sisters’ eye as she looked at Benjamin. Hmm… what was going on there she wondered. ”Are your eyes okay? she asked while she gave Angel a playful poke.

QUOTE=Harry174;11604029]Angel smiled, when she realised that Benny was talking to her, she had been scared he wouldn't want to speak to her now he was with all his other friends. "It's amazing isn't it." Angel totally thought it would be cool if they continued to be friends, she really thought he was cute.
Angel suddenly saw he was looking at her sister but she didn't say anything but smirked it would be fun to see if he put two and two together. "So is it normal for ghost to pop up out of nowhere?" Angel had nearly screamed her head of when the ghost came.
Angel smiled at her sister. "It's more that pretty awesome, it's amazing." Angel really hoped that her sister wasn't planning on doing anything crazy. "I think I'll speak to her later." Angel beamed, she didn't really want to lose her seats and the way everyone was moving about surely was confusing everyone.
"I think they would." Angel giggled, surely her sister wasn't going to get into trouble the first night. "And before you think about it, don't go and bother any of the Professor at the staff table telling them how much trouble you are going to cause them." Angel rolled her eyes at her sister.
SPOILER!!: Benny
SPOILER!!: Angel and AJ
Amazing could be a word to describe his house....well their house now that she was properly sorted. So Benny nodded in response to her comment. "Uh huh, that it is." Amongst a whole bunch of other adjectives that were out there and just as fitting at times.
"Occasionally," he remarked with a shrug. "Sir Nicholas is the Gryffindor house ghost...he and the other three like to show up at feasts." That being said she shouldn't be scared of the, well dead man. He was an outright gentleman despite his predicament. "Peeves is the one you have to watch out for. Quite a prankster."
"Thanks, Sir Nicholas. It certainly feels good to be back." Hopefully this term wouldn't be quite as...painful and achy. "Uh huh...they were."
So he wasn't the only one who was confused by the two identical girls. Adi was clearly caught in the middle as well but he knew the other one...AJ. And he himself knew Angel. What was the chances of that? Ben offered a polite half-smile when his best friend introduced them, fighting the urge to frown when he used Benny. No one else better pick that up.
Merlin Forbid.
"Um...nice to meet you, AJ." Hearing his friend continue on, answering his previous questions, Benny nodded in understanding of it all. It was better to be back both young and back at Hogwarts for the next term. Plenty of fun and learning to be had.
Triplet?!
That explained it. The identical appearance, or similar in the case of the third sister who clearly looked different by AJ's own words. "Oh...alright," he said simply taking it all in. Two sisters in the same house...Gryffindor House. At least he didn't have to continue gaping like a fish in surprise because of the new discovery.
"I take it you two met over the summer?" he asked looking between Adi and AJ. Back when he and his bestie hadn't been able to meet up for one reason or another.
This one didn’t seem like he ever had much to say. She decided to make a mental note on not playing 20 questions with him. AJ usually got a bigger response when she told somebody that she was a triplet, but Benjamin actually didn’t seem all that interested. He got his question answered and that seemed to suit him just fine. [/B]”It’s nice to meet you as well.[/B]
Yup, Aj knew Adi alright, but it wouldn’t have been out of character for her to act very friendly to someone whom she had just met. ”We met at the sweet shop actually. He told me a very interesting story about some frogs actually.” She shot Adi a smile.
[/QUOTE]
Angel's sister seemed nice even if they weren't talking much. Probably his fault seeing as he wasn't the talkative type versus the outgoing nature of both girls. And what was with her interest in Adi's hair? And the playfulness that she exhibited with her friend? It was all new and weird to him and as he finished on his dinner he was staying out of it.
SPOILER!!: Adi

"Tell Sophie what?'' he asked innocently. "That I have a crush on her? I think she knows that already.''
Was Angel looking upset? Yes, she sort of was. Awww. Adi didn't want to upset on her first day at Hogwarts so he shut up. "I'm only stopping this because of Angel,'' he informed his bestie. "And don't worry about it, Angel. I've shut up now.'' Though he will surely resume some other time. "Sophie's my friend,'' the Puffer said. "I'm going to ask her to be my girlfriend soon, though.'' Oh yesh, he would. He hadn't told anyone that not even Benny but he figured it was time to let him know.
Throwing the "lovebirds" a grin, Adi turn his attention to AJ. "Well, fire away,'' he said and tucked a bit of roast potato is in mouth. Gosh, he was hungry! Adi chewed as he took in AJ's questions. He swallowed before addressing them. ''You'll get that from your Head of House soon. Nope, you'll be having classes with other Houses so don't worry. You'll get to see me.'' Adi winked.
Uh. What was AJ doing? O_o But he had to admit, AJ running her hand through his hair did feel good. Shampoo? "Um, I'm not sure. It has a picture of Iron Man on the bottle though.'' Like that would be a big help. "Mom usually gets them for me and I've never bothered to check the name.'' Anything with a superhero on it was good enough for him.
Ben fought the urge to roll his eyes at his friend. What good would a threat do if he told of information already known? Yet as the Hufflepuff relented in his teasing anyway, albeit because of Angel not him he said, it was a moot point at this time. He didn’t have to try and use the other girl as a way to get his best friend off his back. ”As long as you stop,” he mused, not caring the reason. Adi beat him to the question about said girl as well as other topics and explaining things, the third year raising an eyebrow at the title girlfriend.

Demelza nodded her head as she took a bite of mashed potatoes. She swallowed and couldn't help but giggle at Zander. He was so amazed that she was going to be a professional actress one day. If she did not have to go to school, she probably would have been a popular figure in wizarding culture by now. She had been told by many people that she had potential. But she knew all of that already. She knew that she was meant to be in the spotlight for the longest time.
"Yes, a professional actress," she repeated excitedly. Did he agree? She was meant for the stage? She was worthy of all the applause and flowers and fans, yes? No one screamed star more than she did, after all. "I have been thinking more wizarding theatre, but I am open to a number of options. I don't want to be too picky. Whatever gets my name out there, you know?"
Zander certainly seemed to be aware of different options. She hadn't really thought about Muggle television before. Hmm. Interesting.
She clapped her hands when he said that he would love her help. "Excellent, excellent! I am sure that we will be rather busy this term with classes. But third year isn't too hard, and I'm only taking five classes for my NEWTs so I have enough time to practice my acting. I'm sure we'll manage just fine." Demelza nodded her head and lightly tapped her chin. "I think the first place to start would be the common room. It’s easiest to make friends with people you are living with."

Oooh Wizarding theatre? Did that mean she would be preforming live, in front of all those people, all the time, as a profession?!? Zander could hardly even manage speaking up in front of a classroom, let alone preform?? That would definitely be pretty scary. "Oh yeah, back home all the stars on television are super famous. But I'm sure you're name will get out no matter what." Talking to the ambitious girl seemed to get easier the longer they went. He was already starting to feel much more comfortable, especially after she offered her own help.
Oh common room. He hadn't even thought about it like that before. But she was right. Talking to his house mates would definitely be much easier than trying to talk to some of the more exclusive Slytherins and Ravenclaws. After all he did have one thing in common with the rest of the Gryffndors, so that should make things easier right? "Oh. Yeah. That's a really good idea. You're-uh- really smart, Demelza." One time his father said that people really like it when you address them by name. So he made sure to add that last bit in there as an afterthought.
"Don't you think people would get annoyed if I just approached them though?" How would he approach them in the first place. It's not like Zander ever had anything important to say anyways. Would anyone even want to listen? What if people didn't care? What if they just laughed and walked away. On second thought, maybe another year spent in the dorms wasn't such a bad idea after all. Trying to make new friends was such an intimidating process. And Demelza was one more than last year anyways so he was making some progress.

When Zander said he was certain that her name would get out no matter where she ended up in the acting world, Demelza couldn't help but blush a little. "You are too kind," she replied, even though the boy was quite right with that he said. She believed that her name would become a common household name, that everyone would be able to picture her whenever her name was said and remember her talent, her beauty, everything about her. That is what she hoped at least. She always dreamed about it. Now there was the possibility of being famous on the Muggle side of things as well.
The seventh year then reached for a piece of pie as dessert. It appeared that Zander was thinking about what she had said about the common room being a good place to start making friends. It was a genius idea. Had she been the shy type, that’s where would have gone to make a friend. It just made sense to start somewhere a group of people had that one thing in common.
"I don't think anyone would be annoyed. Everyone here is generally pretty nice. And I wasn't annoyed at all when you started talking to me," Demelza said, nodding her head as she took a bite of her pie. Zander was, in fact, distracting her from glancing at Mr. Tall and Handsome up there by the school staff. That would have been embarrassing if they had made awkward eye contact with each other. "Though there are some students and professors you might want to avoid. But you will be alright. You'll make friends quick in Gryffindor."

Zander eyed the pie Demlza had and decided to grab a peice for himself. He was talking so much that he had completely forgotten dessert! This must be a good sign right? It was progress, that's for sure. Well any conversation compared to the train ride was progress. He hadn't spoken to a soul on his way to the school. Mostly because he had his head buried in a book, but he also was just way too nervous to talk to anyone. Besides everyone looked like they already had friends. Besides the firsties of course, but talking to them would be social suicide! He had to start on the right foot or just not start at all.
Demlza's next words were really comforting and nice for the young Gryffindor to hear. "Really?!" She wasn't annoyed at all! AHH this is wonderful news! Maybe this whole approaching-people thing wasn't that bad. For the first time during the entire conversation Zander broke into a huge smile, "Wow! I thought I was really bad at this, but, uh, it's not t-that bad." Students to avoid? Hm. He had heard a couple of Hogwarts horror stories from the past. So he'd just have to test the waters and figure things out. "Thanks for all your help, Demlza. I'll definitely be supporting your acting career." After all support was the least he could do for the first person who had actually talked to him. He did owe her that much.
