Default Gobstones Preliminary Match: Ravenclaw vs. Slytherin

The building used for the Gobstones matches had had it's doors opened to the brisk, early autumn air and it's surfaces magically dusted by Professor Botros and Mr. Kitridge, the school's Gobstones sponsors and made ready for the term's first preliminary match.

The blue and green marbles were set out and the playing 'field' had been marked. Chairs were set out on each side of the arena creating a Viewing Area for those not playing to watch.
OOC: Remember only members sorted into Ravenclaw and Slytherin Houses can post in this thread, it is not a chat thread and there is no rping.

Read the Gobstones Rule book before playing and if you did last term, please check again because it's been updated and changes have been made.

Any question please contact Magical Soul and/or Nordic Witch.

Barrington didn't seem one to back down from a challenge, the Ravenclaw Prefect remained quiet and reserved as he rolled his stone attempting to catch up to the slightly ahead green stone. Whitlock gave his stone a good nudge, though, and now both stones were at the Jack Stone, with the Slytherin's a little closer than Ravenclaw's.
Match Standings:
Ravenclaw 21 points
Slytherin 24 points

Give an example of half-transfiguration, taken from famous events in the Wizarding World. [Mention the title and date of said event, too]

The boys took their final shots in this match. The blue stone nudged the green one on its way, knocking it right into the goal.

"Slytherin wins this match!" Botros bellowed, with a small smile and clapped his hands. "Six points behind, Ravenclaw did marvellous job in this game. Both teams kept us on our toes throughout the entire game, such a great start to the Gobstones season." More clapping. "We'd like to thank all the players who participated, specially Mr. Whitlock, who gets the title the player of the match for making the most shots for his team." Clapclapclap. "Next game will be soon between Hufflepuff and Gryffindor, make sure not to miss it." Aaaand this was a wrap.
Match Final Standings:
Ravenclaw 21 points
Slytherin 27 points winner!

Player of the Match: Grayson Whitlock
