| | |  Gobstones Preliminary Match: Ravenclaw vs. Slytherin
 The building used for the Gobstones matches had had it's doors opened to the brisk, early autumn air and it's surfaces magically dusted by Professor Botros and Mr. Kitridge, the school's Gobstones sponsors and made ready for the term's first preliminary match.
The blue and green marbles were set out and the playing 'field' had been marked. Chairs were set out on each side of the arena creating a Viewing Area for those not playing to watch.
OOC: Remember only members sorted into Ravenclaw and Slytherin Houses can post in this thread, it is not a chat thread and there is no rping.
Read the Gobstones Rule book before playing and if you did last term, please check again because it's been updated and changes have been made.

Whitlock faced Brown for the next shot, he gave the younger girl a slightly underestimated look before kicking his stone with the shooter, the same time Sophie did. Both stones raced towards the Jack Stone but only the blue stone managed to surpass the small obstacle while the Slytherin stone lagged a bit behind.
Green gob was thrown in the Eagles' team's faces.
Advisor's note: point went to Ravenclaw for most complete answer.

Barrington and Whitlock were at it again. They both swung their shooters, showing off a little, and kicked the stones further across the board. The blue stone, being already ahead, rolled and rolled, going round the obstacles until it stopped against the board's edge. The green stone had trespassed the obstacles and came to a stop just a little before the blue stone.
More green gob for the Ravenclaws.

Wayne of Slytherin and Brown of Ravenclaw met again. The girls nudged the stones of their houses, the green stone surpassed the blue one significantly and stopped at a decent distance from the Jack Stone.
