Gobstones Preliminary Match: Gryffindor vs. Hufflepuff The building used for the Gobstones matches had had it's doors opened to the brisk, autumn air and its surfaces magically dusted by Professor Botros and Mr. Kitridge, the school's Gobstones sponsors and made ready for the term's second preliminary match. Mr Kitridge had walked in with his hands stuck in his coat pockets against the brisk morning air, the Ancient Runes Professor had graciously set up the hall for the second match so Leo could focus on lighting the fireplaces and getting warmed up. As the teams assembled he put his wand to his mouth to enhance his whistle to get the players attention. "Good morning and welcome to the Gobstones club, today's our second game of the season, I hope you're all as excited and geared up as I am." Not waiting for any responses Leo quickly signalled for the teams to choose their representatives for the first shot of the game. "Let's begin!" The yellow stone rolled around several obstacles until it stopped just ahead of the red stone causing smelly gob to spray over the stands.
