Brown and Bay got ready for their next shot. As Bay swung his shooter and gave the red stone a nice nudge, Brown had a cute younger housemate extend her hand and touch the blue stone in bewilderment, causing them to lag behind in this turn. Aww.

Brown and Bay stayed for another turn yet. Brown had taken the hand of the younger Ravenclaw and placed her next to the shooting position to teach her the right way of Gobstones. Then both played shot. The stones were nudged by their respective players, though the red shooter hit the board and missed the red stone, giving the chance for the blue one to catch up to it. Almost.

"The points go to Ravenclaw for this turn." Botros said, coughing a little. For all that it holy, it was cold in here!

While Bay stayed to give a second shot to the Gryffindor's stone, there was a new player for the Ravenclaw. Miss Maddison Cooper stepped up, giving the blue stone a nudge and causing it to roll a little ahead of the red one.

"Ravenclaw gets this turn, making it in the lead at the end of this round! " Botros clapped gently.

Bay and Brown were facing each other again-- well, beside each other but figuratively speaking. The red stone seemed to be stuck in one place, rolling and rolling but not moving. The blue stone was getting ahead of it already, but it was still possible to catch up! "Good, good job, everyone!" Botros continued to supervise the game, interested despite the coughing and the cloud breaths that came out of every person's mouth in this hall. Brrr.
