Benny one-arm shrugged at the question. "I don't really have that much planned," he admitted, much like he had told Angel at the feast. Though now, he supposed he tentative plans to see both Angel and Adi sometime over the summer. "Nothing set in stone but the occurance of my birthday." Really couldn't change that as it happened each year with or without him. "What about you?" ------------------------------------- Movement out of the corner of his eye caused Benny to turn away from the window only to spot that Adi had joined AJ in speaking to Gus the toad. And now they were dancing?! What in Merlin's beard was going on? At least what had he missed? Apparently the two of them were in wacky crazy mode this morning and the third year lion didn't know what to make of it all. Certainly was entertaining to watch, though a part of him wondered if he should rescue the poor toad no doubt confused by his human's antics. Poor Gus. Probably a good thing Conrad wasn't about after all, even just as a shield for his fellow animal friend. The owl would likely be freaking and squawking at what was going on. Wouldn't be so fun then. All of a sudden Adi and Angel had separated, Gus had been moved and Angel had freaked to suddenly find a living, moving creature on her lap. The girl quickly moving off of his shoulder and he had to admit, it felt weird now. "Its okay," he tried to assure her as he shifted, noticing it was the toad and nothing to worry about. "Gus...don't go." but he was already hopping towards AJ. |
Birthday? When was Benny's birthday? :x3: Adi was a baaaad bestie. He was bad with dates and how in the world was he supposed to find out the exact date of Benny's date of birth? Maybe if he could think back hard to that Divination class when they did their birth charts, he would have a bit of memory on it. In the mean time... "Haven't got much planned. I just think I'll catch up on the guitar stuff, cricket and what ever else comes in the way.'' Sometimes, just taking things as they came turned out to be more fun than planning. "We're meeting in Diagon Alley, right?'' ................................ Arouuuuund AJ went, with Adi holding on to her hand. He was very much disappointed she kept her balance. Yep, he was half hoping she'd fall into him again. Anyway, here he was, trying to come to term with the fact that he was crushing heavily on AJ. He had realised it on the night of the End of Term feast but he had woken up this morning hoping he had imagined it and spent much of his time trying not to think of it nor her. He was loosing the battle and was now resigned to the fact. "I saw,'' the Puffer replied, grinning but still feeling sorely disappointed. "Don't you think you'll get dizzy with all these spins?'' Okay, Adi was getting all calm again. Gus sat near AJ's feet. "See? He likes you,'' he told her then turned to Angel. "Glad to have you back. That important thing wouldn't be Benny by chance?'' |
Around and around she went. Her hair was actually down for once and it swirled around as it fanned her face. For a moment AJ had forgotten that she was supposed to be teaching Gus his alphabet. The lion was caught up with just dancing with Adi. Could you imagine how much more fun they could be having if music was playing in the background? "Never. I could spin in circles all day long." As soon as the words left her mouth, AJ realized that what she said wasn't the truth. She blinked a couple of times and tried to steady herself. Her head was spinning and she felt like she was on a merry go round. She collided with Adi once more, but this time it was kind of on purpose. She needed to regain her balance. Her head rested on his chest for a few minutes. "All better." Apparently there was a limit to how many spins you could so before it caught up with you. Aw, the cute little toad did come over to her. "Your toad has good taste, Adi." AJ scooped up Gus in her hands and held him up at eye level. "Did you learn anything at all?" Still holding on to Gus, AJ looked over at Angel and Benny. "Do you guys wanna dance?" AJ made sure to ask the both of them because Angel was acting all possessive over Benny and AJ was not in the mood for crazy claim staking Angel. |
Angel smiled when she realised that it had been a toad. "Didn't know you had a toad Adi." Angel thought that Gus was an awesome name. "I have an owl but I haven't seen him for ages." Angel loved her owl but at the minute she was glad it was out and about somewhere after all the bad weather we have at Hogwarts. Angel decided to rest her head on Benny's arm again because she was totally freak out at the minute, how was she supposed to know it wasn't a spider that had been on her lap or a mouse or something really bad. Angel was just settling down on Benny's arm again when. O____________o "No...No...Defiantly not." Angel lied but she could tell her face was going red. "I was just thinking about if mum and dad will recognise us, their triplets have grown up a bit since they last saw us." Angel giggled. "Or as I like to call us the trips." Angel was sure that would be an awesome band name. Angel then heard AJ's question and looked at Ben. "Ben, would you care to dance with me?" Angel thought she might as well ask him. |
Benny listened to the vague ideas on what Adi would be doing, nodding in understanding as he caught various things he seemed to remember his bestie being interested in. Sounded like a decent start for summer plans, even if nothing was as of yet set in stone. "Of course...more fun to do with others." That and he had an excuse not to have one of his parents try and go with him for the hell of it. Well if they tried to do so with their teenage son who would rather explore Diagon Alley alone if it meant that. Adi seemed to be focusing more on the two girls for a bit, especially AJ whom he was certainly close to. Angel had even resettled her head on his arm again and like before Benny hadn't pushed her off in protest. However it and Adi's focus away didn't last long in the way for peace for him as his friend questioned whether she had been lost in thought about him. Benny tried not to stare at the Hufflepuff in silent question abotu whether or not he could just leave it alone. Thankfully Angel denied it. QUickly. Perhaps a bit too quickly and the older Gryffindor looked away. He was brought back when he registered AJ was now talking to him, asking if they wanted to dance. Well him and Angel since she was looking across at them not at Adi or even Ian. "Um..." Benny used, his words caught in his throat as he struggled for an answer. Cautiously looking to Angel, he saw she wasn't as bothered by the question as he was. "Um...I guess." Better than boredom. |
Adi grinned. "Let's see about that then.'' He continued helping AJ spin and spin once or twice dodging as her hair threatened the whip him the face. Well, it did so anyway as he wasn't always able to escape. But he didn't mind. Then she collided into him again. "Has the day come to an end already?'' he kidded but very much aware that AJ's head was resting on his chest. He wondered if she felt his heart pick up a tad bit of pace. But he didn't care. He didn't want her to stay like that forever. He was even tempted to hug her but he resisted. No need to make things weird. Especially when it was him who had brushed her off when she had expressed her feelings. "Just like his owner,'' Adi muttered, not realising he sad it aloud. Gus simply croaked once when AJ asked him the question. "Er, I dunno what that means. I haven't learnt to speak toad as yet.'' Adi winked at Angel. "Sure you are.'' But he didn't push it. He figured Benny must be uncomfortable already. And was AJ looking to make him more uncomfortable? O_o But much to the Badger's surprise, Benny agreed. Well, this was gonna be fun! Too bad there was no music though. Adi could go for a waltz or something. |
Too much spinning, and yet she didn't want to stop. This was the most fun that she had with Adi since their encounter at the lake. She didn't want to stop, not yet. Her head was feeling much better now that she gave it a good rest. "Nope. I just lost my balance, but I am good now." Her mind even went to that place where she swore she would never allow it to go again. She shook her head as if that movement would clear her head. She didn't like Adi in that way any more. He had been right, AJ had only felt like that because he saved her life. That was all there was to it. "You do have good taste in food and friends." Totally missing what Adi was really getting at. AJ stared at Gus. Hmm... "I think he said that he likes us dancing." He enjoyed the show, she could see that in his little toad eyes. Benny said that he would. AJ was so excited for her sister. She knew that Angel must be giddy. "Well, you heard him. Go get your man, Angel." EEP. That wasn't too much, right? She had just apologized to Benny for embarrassing him, and here she was still running her mouth. AJ wasn't trying to make you blush Benny... just so you know. |
Angel smiled when Benny agreed to dance with her, she didn't even hear what Adi had said about anything because she was floating at the minute on cloud 9 and she didn't want to get off it and she wouldn't have if it wasn't for. O___________________o *blush* AJ had to say it didn't she. "He's just a friend." Angel smiled as she grabbed hold of Benny's hand and pulled him up. "So what should we dance too?" Angel had no idea what they were actually going to dance to. O_________o Angel had a wicked idea to get back at AJ for trying to upset Benny and herself. "Hey AJ." Angel looked at her sister. "Why don't you put on a love song that you and Adi can slow dance to." Angel looked at Adi. "I can really tell that Adi wants to slow dance with you." |
Thankfully Adi didn't press Angel further about her thoughts, helping Benny try and push the thoughts that threatened to develop to the back of his mind. Better to leave the girl to the privacy of her own thoughts then making him dwell on them. "Maybe Gus thinks you're silly..." he mused as Adi and AJ tried to decipher the toad's croaking. Even if he had just agreed to be silly too much to his bestie's apparent surprise. But just a little dancing couldn't be too bad...right? Benny did did his best to ignore AJ's choice of words encouraging their dance, the boy willing his skin not to color. No...he wasn't anyone's man. Nope...not really. He did mildly trip over his own feet as Angel pulled him up, the third year luckly managing to right himself before he actually fell. Or worse...collapsed into his companion. No need to add to the awkwardness in anyway. "I don't know..." he answered as he tentatively took Angel's other hand in his own. They did need to hold both hands...right? He absently moved his feet as tried to think on how to proceed. Except now he was confused since Angel mentioned the other two slow dancing. No slow dancing for him please. |
Why was the moment over so soon? :x3: THEIR moment. Gone. Over too soon. Again. Ugh. But Adi did what he always did. Smiled and cracked a joke. "Of course you're good now. Apparently I make a good pillow." Uh oh. He now realised what he said but thankfully AJ had an interpretation of her own that was completely off track. But he nodded in agreement. Then he laughed at what she said next. "Maybe he's hoping he can pick up some of our moves.'' Adi looked up from Gus to see Angel blush. He opened his mouth to crack another joke but closed it a second later. Poor Benny must have worked up every ounce of his courage to agree to the dance. Adi would not say anything to make him change his mind. He did however, cast a sharp glance at Angel. That girl WAS psychic! He tried to look amused. "Uh, no. Where did you get that idea from, Angel?'' Sheesh, Adi. Just how many lies are you going to say? |

Uh oh, it seemed the Gryffindor boy wasn't too thrilled about the Greece trip that the older students were going to be taking this summer and he wasn't allowed. "We should sneak you on the trip!!" Mack grinned mischeviously, but her face instantly fell "why did you even mention Paris?! UGHH." "Well..." The blonde struggled. "I used to spend every summer there with my folks and I haven't been there since they've been... gone." the last word came out in a huff as silently the tears began to fall. Great here she was crying in front of a cute boy. What could be worse?! Mackenzie semi-regained composure and nodded "I'd like if we could hang out some" and her eyes stayed on the floor innerly begging for the tears to stop. |
