Ok so with the possibility of a Chort invasion impending, Gump decided that he would spend his last few days or maybe hours curled up by the fire in the kitchen eating as much as he could stuff down. Who knew when time would be up and with the luck this school seemed not to have, said Chorts could be at the castle doors right this minute.

The young Slytherin continued down the corridor his hands dug deep in his pockets to ward off the freezing weather,though it didn't help much.
He then made a promise to himself if and its a big IF Hogwarts somehow did managed to escape its latest crisis,he would spend everyday at the beach just laying on the sand, But being honest Hogwarts was due for its complete destruction any time now. You could only cheat death so many times after all.

Gump looked around the corridor taking it all in when he stopped as he spotted Alexa,they hadn't been able to hang out like he had always wanted to and now it seemed almost a lost cause but he had to admit if he was going down he was going down at least slightly entertained and that's exactly what the eccentric Gryffindor could provide. A quick talk with Lex then he would continue on his way.

"Hey Lex" he said before going up the Gryffindor prefect.

Lex had never been happier to see the little Slytherin than now. Grant you she hardly noticed his absence this term but in this moment where everyone was missing it was easy to see why she'd be over the moon to run into him. "Hey there short stuff. Wanna do me a favour real quick? Of coooourse you do."

The Gryffindor reached into her candy bag once more and pulled out another fortune cookie. Did she even know his birthday? No....was she going to ask? Nooope. "Here. It's a fortune cookie, don't eat the paper inside, but you have to read it." Yet another thing she didn't understand but wouldn't question. How would Professor Smiles know how people reacted to their fortunes? Or did that part not matter as long as they were spreading cookie love?

"Well, go on. I've got to meet Cassia and I'm in a rush."

See this was the kind of Eccentricity that should be put on show somewhere Gump thought to himself before answering.

"Yeah, sure what-" before he could finish his sentence the Gryffindor pulled a fortune cookie out of her infamous candy bag. He took the cookie then snapped it in two ,unrolling the small paper within he read what it had to say.

He took a moment if this wasn't a bad omen nothing was.

"Kinda depressing" He commented then shrugged, he guessed there was really nothing else left to say, getting a bad fortune cookie when there was impending doom usual signaled the end.

Stuffing his fortune in his pocket,cause lets be honest throwing away a fortune was totally bad karma and would only make the situation worse, like say somehow a Chort was waiting for him in the kitchen,that was something he would DEFINITELY not be into.

He ate the cookie then smiled up at the Gryffindor.

"Later Lex see you in the after life,BYE!" he said before running off to the kitchen,the clock was ticking after all.

Kinda depressing? Well that was one way to put it....sure...she'd let him have it. "Could also be classified as truthful depending on who reads it but, you know, that has yet to be proven." The whole fortune cookies being true thing. Some said they were fun, others said they were a waste of trees but she didn't think she'd ever heard anyone say they were true. Even Professor Smiles admitted that they weren't to be taken seriously.

"Lighten up, plenty other rainbows around the place, or whatever." She told him with a shrug, but that was all she managed to get out before the boy bolted off....

"Okay then....have a good one...I guess." Depressing kid was depressing. She was only talking to herself in the end because he'd gone clear of the hall already. Man that kid was fast but it didn't matter, her homework was officially done and she still had one more fortune cookie that she could help herself to on her way down to the dungeons. Hopefully Cassia still had a lot of the extras left because she wouldn't be stopping by the kitchen now that this homework had taken up so much time.
