BWAHAHAHA the paper had hit her head!

Completely satisfied now, Kevin grinned as Lex picked it up off of the ground and then rolled his eyes. "Whatever" he simply said with his usually tone of voice but when she said a thank you waved his hand. No thanks, he wouldn't be doing this if there hadn't been points involved.........Wait..they WERE getting points for this right?

He glanced towards the happy snappy professor and when he looked back ...someone stood in front of him.

A...a girl was standing in front of him...with a card. Had she made one for him? Completely surprised by this turn of event because he had thought that no one would have the guts to give him a card, the second year Gryffindor STARED at the card before he took it. She actually gave him a card...this Jasmine girl actually did. And it looked decent as well.

How..why...huh? this confused him but he still held the card in his hands. "Uhm...yeah..okay" gaaaah why couldn't he think of anything rude to say? He gave the girl a nod, which was his way of saying thank you and then sat back down to make another card because he had seen someone with his sign.

Sophie still needed to find one or two more people to give a Valentine's card to. It was too bad her brother wasn't around. She was sure he was here somewhere, but in all the masses, she couldn't see him. She knew they shared an astrological sign, because duh, they were twins. Oh, well. Maybe after she made a second card, she spot him somewhere.

Sophie turned around and scanned the room for somebody else with one of the three signs she'd listed. There was some Gryffindor girl with a Pisces sign, so Sophie guessed she could make one for her. It seemed strange that she, Sophie Newell, was making cards for people she didn't even know. She felt like such a Hufflepuff.

She took a quill and a fresh piece of parchment and wrote:

Hi! I don't know you, but I needed a Pisces to write a card for, and you're a Pisces! Have a great day, fellow Pisces! - Sophie Newell

Sophie walked up to the girl and extended the card. "Hi. Pisces, right?" she asked.

Lucy had another card decorated with many smiles .. it was for Angel ..
"Angel, this card is for you .. Happy Valentin's Day, my friend! You are the first person I've met and who helped me always with a smile, thank you!", said Lucy!
"Don't worry, all we firsties are a bit shy!"

Me? thought Simon.

Simon glanced up from working on a card when he saw a Slytherin girl calling out to her. No, she couldn't be calling out to me, thought Simon as he blinked his blue eyes and then went back to his work. Obviously she was going to go after Ethan or Grayson who were both way more social with girls. But Simon was wrong. She was calling out tohim. A card for him? Sweet!

He gave her a shy smile. "Hey! Uhh.. Thanks. Nice to meet you Sophie. I'm Simon. Simon Holden," he said as he opened the card and read the message. He chuckled. Slytherin was where all the cool people were or so he liked to believe. "This card is awesome. We are in the best house." Everyone knew it. Mhmmm..


Then Emmylou approached him with a really, really big smile on her face. He grinned back at her. Oh hey friend! And she had a card for him. He felt a little bad because he wished that he too could make her a card because she was one of the first Gryffindors that he'd become friends with at the school. Her and Zander and they were both awesome. "Hey Em! How are you?" he asked, shortening her name as he did for most of his friends. Woah. The card was incredible. It was sort of girly but he really liked it. He could see how much effort she had put into it making a really nice card for him. He felt loved. He read the message and grinned. "This is awesome. Thanks so much! I'm glad that we're friends." He meant every word. Grin. He was going to keep this one forever.

Now he was being a complete slacker for there were a lot more cards to make for people. He picked up a crayon and went to work designing on a card. He glanced up and discovered that Grayson was a Taurus. Oh yes, he'd make Grayson a card. The kid seemed really cool. Grabbing a green piece of paper (for house pride of course), he set to work. Once it was designed, he added a riddle on it with a nice message.

The last card was for Bay ..
Lucy had decorated the little red and yellow parchment with many cookies! she had tasted the cookies prepared from Bay and they were really yummy.

Cassie was chuckling to herself more than out loud. Had she embarrassed the Gryffindor? Could you even do that with them? "Oh Miss Cambridge, don't get your socks twisted, it's fine to give other classmates Valentine's Day cards. Just please keep to your Sun, Venus, Mars sign first. Once you are done with them feel free to share Valentine's cheer with everyone." She walked away from the girl still chuckling.

She wasn't one to get so harsh, but sometimes you just had to.

Of course they liked boys who would talk to them. Anyone liked to be talked to. "Plus this isn't really an activity to find a real match, you are finding your friends that match. We are all friends in this room. I don't allow anything else." Nope once everyone walked through the door she didn't care what was going outside the classroom, everyone were friends during her class time.

"Is everyone doing alright?" She glanced around to see if anyone was having a problem. "YOu are all doing sooo well." Had everyone at least got a valentine? She hoped no one was being left out, because that would not be acceptable. With this many students everyone should be able to find at least one match.

Finding her own seat she decided to make one. She knew of a few people that had a match in her sign, so why not make them some Valentine Cards.

An older girl, who looked familiar, but that she didn't know approached her with a card. "Hi Jasmine. It's nice to meet you." A card? "Cool, thanks!" She opened up the card and couldn't help but to smile. "This is really great!" AJ was actually liking this activity even though it the beginning she didn't think that she would.




"Aries people are the best people if you ask me." Of course she was biased and all since she was on. And she was getting another card, this time for Leah. Apparently they had to be friends, and good ones at that... it was all in their signs.

She reached for her card and quickly opened it up. "Thanks Leah, this is awesome." She had two cards total now. "Happy V-Day to you too."




"Thanks. I'm glad you like it. I think the glitter set it off." One could not make a unicorn without adding glitter. She was glad that he liked it. AJ was not an artist by any means, but she did try really hard on it.

AJ smiled up at Ian, and hugged him back. The next sentence out of his mouth was one that made her come up short for a second. Thankfully she quickly recovered. Ian didn't know what had happened with her and Adi so it was an innocent comment. "I'd like that." Maybe by then everything would be cool again.

Indeed it does Ian told AJ. It was really a nice card. Especially considering it was done in such a short time.

He nodded when she said she'd like that. That would be awesome. I feel like I've been trapped in this castle since the winter began. It would be nice to get out and enjoy the 'outdoors'. It was a strange sentiment to be expressed by Ian since he hadn't really been an outside person. He was more of a bookworm, but this extremely cold weather had really done a job on everyone's mental state.

Zander's smile faltered a little when-- Donkey?! Awh. "Well, It... It was supposed to be a unicorn...?" He chuckled half heartedly, in his defense it kind of did look like a unicorn... If you close one eye and tilt your head and hold it really far back and then maybe close the other eye too? Okay... So not really... But it was the effort that counted right? "Oops." Hehe. It was supposed to be divination, not arts and crafts.

Hmph.

He let out another small laugh as Lex expressed her absolute disgust for the activity. Hehehe. How'd she become prefect again?



Turning away from the Gryffindor Prefect, Zander felt someone tapping on his shoulder. Who, whaaa, huh-- ETHAN? A card, for HIM? AWH. Zander really liked Ethan. He was cool. But they hadn't ever had the chance to bond too much out of class, besides he was more of Simon's friend and all of that.

But-but the card, that made his little heart swell. Maybe Valentines Day wasn't so bad after all!? Speaking of which, the Gyrffindor's face lit up like a christmas tree as he went on to read it.

WOAH. Ethan was so good at this. Maybe he had some practice or something? Because woah. "WOW! This is INCREDIBLE! Thanks Ethan!" He could've even pulled the Slytherin for a hug, right then and there. But... okay. He didn't want everyone to know that he was starting to warm up to this whole Valentines Day thing. He had a reputation to uphold and all that. PFT. Men don't like pink frilly things. Men don't like Valentines Day. PFT.

Hm. Now that he was done with Lex's card and had delivered it and everything, he could make some more? Hmmmmm there weren't any Sagittarius people as far as he could see. So he'd have to work with some Capricorns and Geminis!

Sophie began moving through the room in an attempt to find either a Pisces, Gemini, or Aquarius. It seemed like everybody had either been claimed or nobody matched her signs. What did THAT mean? At least she'd found a Slytherin boy and a Gryffindor girl. That was two out of three. It'd be perfect if she could find a third, but shrug.

FINALLY, she spotted somebody, and it didn't look like they had a card. Well, if they did, she didn't see it. She quickly got out her card making materials and went to work.

"Hope you have a really awesome Valentine's Day and you get to eat at least ONE piece of candy! From Sophie Newell"

Then she walked right up to the person and extended the card. "For you," she said.

The amount of pink and lovey dovey things in this room really was sickening.

And yes, he liked the card. Very much. Just not the level of pink and glitter and snaps. He was going to end up getting glitter on him and then he'll look like some sort of freaking glittery fairy. Oh the shame.

Andddddddd this meant that he had to get started on a card for Ethan because apparently, that was nice or whatever. And it meant that they were compatible (what in the name of freaking merlin?) and this was the point of the task at hand. It was probably lucky that he had already gotten started on a card because then he could just add Ethan's name, along with an appropriate message and be done with it. Uh huh.

Some changes needed to be made, which Grayson went ahead to do. A figure was seen standing on top of a snowy hill looking EPIC AS EVER. This figure was given a green and grey-silver scarf and was probably bundled up but that didn't matter. Grayson tried to get it to look as much like Ethan as possible because that was the important part here. And the clouds too. That needed to be added in. Nothing mushy gushy, mind you. Underneath, he wrote the following:

Look at how great his card was.

"Yo! Ethan!" he said, approaching the guy's table, "I made you something." He placed the card on the third year's table, gave him a smirk and headed back to his seat.

"Tell me about it. I need fresh summer air, and trees to climb." She was going nuts in the castle. That just really wasn't her thing at all. "Let me know whenever you wanna hang." And she would be there. "Even if you can think of something fun to do in the castle." Because she was running out of ideas.

Deciding that it was only fair to make a card for her sister, AJ got straight to work. Knowing that her sister was way more girly than she was AJ decided go glam up this card. She picked pink paper this time and was just about to draw hearts when something else came to her mind. She snickered and put the crayon to the paper. Angel would most likely be mad at her, but it was just in good fun.

Cris watched as students handed out cards to one another and smiled. Professor Morgan's idea of giving out these Valentine's Day cards was a brilliant one.

Cris figured what the heck, he still had time to make more. So he picked up another white piece of paper and began making another one. He first drew in some of the cartoon animals. Then he drew in two hearts and then he drew a pretty little kitten holding another heart.

Then Cris began the process of coloring what he had drawn out, switching from one colored crayon to another.

...and now for the Pièce de résistance. The wording. Cris thought long and hard before he came up with one that he hoped the person would like.

....and he was done. Getting up from his chair, Cris walked over to the first year, Lion and gave Lucy the Valentine's Day card he had made especially for her.

"Here Lucy. I made this for you. Happy Valentine's Day, " Cris smiled as he handed the card to her.

Then off he went, back to his desk to make another one.

The card was perfect. Nice, simple, and intellectual.

Just what a card ought to be, figured the Slytherin.

Simon inspected his card for Grayson and then headed over towards his fellow housemate with a grin. "Hey Grayson! Got a card for you," he explained and handed the card to the older boy. "Hope that you enjoy riddles." He waited a little bit to see the other boy's reaction and then went off to make some more cards.

Now who was next? He needed to look for another Leo, Cancer, or Taurus... He glanced around the classroom and found a girl called Jasmine. He'd seen her in a couple of classes and she seemed really lovely. He picked up a light blue card and started making her card.

So...the look on Zander's face meant that he liked it, yeah? True, they haven't spent much time outside of the classroom, but he can tell that he's a cool guy. Heck, it doesn't matter what house he's in, as long as the dude's not rude then he's Ethan's friend. Simple as that. Besides, he'll be spending his next four years with them, so he better make solid relationships early on, right?

Right. Ethan beamed and patted Zander's shoulder. "No worries, mate. Glad you liked it." With a thumbs up, he returned to his seat and made another card. Maybe...for Ella? Yeah, he'd use the school owl to send her his card.

Doodle. Doodle. Doodle.



....he was in the middle of drawing Ella's face when Grayson came up to him and gave him a card. Ooooooh. A card from the Cloud Master! That's something! It simply meant that he's not upset about him using glitters and pink stuff on his card.

Although one has to admit it was rather funny. Grayson in pink...and glitters. It was a good thing he didn't add a Unicorn in there. Nope, that'll be an overkill. And no, Ethan's not asking for a death wish. Thank you.

Ethan beamed. Grinned. Smiled, and walked towards Grayson who already took his seat. "This is AWESOME! You had me standing on a pile of snow! Oh yeaaah. Conquering that cloud!" Merlin. that card was for keeps! "Thanks Grayson! You're awesome."

Now now, Whitlock. Don't get that in your head.

...and now back to his desk and finishing up his card for Ella. Ethan wondered how his friend was doing in...where was she anyway? He never asked! Shame. But yeah, hopefully they'll see each other soon. He's got...ahem. Questions for her.

Ethan smiled as he finished his Valentine's card for Ella. He will need to owl that as soon as class is over.

Lux was really happy now that she had given Bay his card. Even though Valentines Day wasn't just for couples, he was her Valentine and she loved him so much.

Awww, Kace had a card for her. That was so cute and she loved it. Reading it made her laugh. Pulling her friend into a hug, she said, "you are amazing, Kace. I so want to have a double date with you and Emmy." They were best friends with her and Bay, so surely he would love the idea too!

Getting a piece of parchment, she drew a card for him, making sure that there was a penguin on it. Kace WAS a penguin after all!

BAM! She held out his card for him to take. Now Cinna and Emmy would get them too if there was enough time. And also Bart because Lux really liked him.

Aww seeing Lucy come his way made him smile she was one of bays favorite firsties. And awwwsws she had a card for him.. She was beyond cute " thank you so much Lucy I love it... Don't go any where I have one for you " he had earlier made a card for her and so he handed it off to her with a smile.

It wasn't much but he hoped she liked it.

Kace smiled and was glad Lux loved her valentine's day card. I mean the hug said enough. He even chuckled at the penguin drawn onto the card. "I appreciate the penguin drawn onto the card.." he said. He wasn't insulting the work. Of course not. It was adorable. "Thank you.." he said pulling into her a hug back. Now onto finding his next person to give a Valentine Day card for. He looked around and saw Simon was a Gemini. Now he could make his favorite aussie a valentine's day card.

He began to write a little something for the guy. He took his crayon or infact he liked colored pencils. Easy to write with and wrote him a little message.



After he wrote the mesage. It was time for creating the front of his card. What would he put on it. He put the slytherin symbol graffiti style of course. He put the style on it. Now time to deliver it!

Another Card for him? Cool. And this time it was from his awesome friend, Cris. Adi checked it out. Woah! Cris had outdone himself! "Thanks a ton, Cris! This is such cool card.'' Adi was really pleased that he was the number one badger partner in the older boy's books.

Adi looked around the classroom, trying to spot Zander. There were students all around, delivering their own cards. He did however, notice the Gryffindor was at his desk. Adi jumped up and headed over to the boy.

"Hello, fellow Capricorn. I've got something for you.'' Adi placed the card in front of Zander. "Hope you like it.'' Don't let the weird looking drawing of the lion scare you. Hehe.

................... Something that girls just adore.

This made him wonder. A small smirk spread across his face. Someone had told him that they liked his level of confidence. He had half a mind to ask Professor Cassie what else girls liked but he also didn't want to come across as completely clueless. Not that he was. Usually, a smirk and a wink did wonders. And the right words.

"I'll keep that in mind for next time." Cue an innocent smile. As for whether they were all friends in this room, er............... no. Just no. He didn't consider himself to be friends with half of the people in this room. And this was probably the mushy gushy-ness of the room that was talking so he was going to ignore the comment. "It's much easier to send your friend a Valentine's Day card, I bet. Much harder for someone you like." See? He could fake knowledge or whatever this was.



A unicorn WOULD have been an overkill. Uh huh. Especially if said unicorn was farting rainbows and glitter. Too much mushy gushiness.

But the boy was grinning? GOOD. Of course the card was awesome, he was the one who made it. And it was for a friend, which meant that it had to be awesome. "Exactly!" he said, nodding at the third year, "Now you have a Valentine's Day card that makes you look like the epic snowstorm man that you are."

"Thanks!" For the awesome comment.

And of course it was going to go to his head. PSH.



Oh look! Another admirer!

Thank MERLIN that this card wasn't pink or glittery or had the word 'snaps' on it. Instead, it was green! GREEN! Slytherin pride? He thought so! So, Grayson actually grinned at third year and said, "Hey Simon! Thanks, man! This is great!" Uh huh. And he didn't give out compliments often. Just saying.

And he WAS super awesome. Thank YOU for noticing that, Simon.

........................ Oh jeez. There was a RIDDLE on there? Oh MAN. Riddles were freaking difficult and there were one of two outcomes:
a) he was going to get it right and look like the awesome guy that Simon knew him to be
or
b) he was going to get it wrong and look like a freaking dumb kid.

Okay, this one needed to be thought about properly. After he made Simon a card too. So, grabbing another piece of parchment, Grayson got to work. He tried not to think about the riddle but it was proving to be difficult. He almost ended up writing down possible answers onto the card that he was meant to be making for Simon. And, his blue eyes kept on flitting back towards the card, especially the riddle at the end.

Jeez, this was hard.

"No worries," said Simon and then he paused after he heard that Grayson said that his card was great. Seriously? That meant a lot to him to hear that from a fellow house mate. "Thanks mate. I thought that it was necessary to balance out all of this pink with a little bit of house pride."

Feeling very happy that Grayson had enjoyed his card, he set out to finish Jasmine's card. He even went as far as to draw a flower on it- cause girls like flowers and whatnot, right? He then approached the Jasmine, feeling more confident this time. He could do this easily. He was getting the hang of it all. "Hey! I'm Simon Holden. We don't know each other, but I've seen you in a couple of classes... so.. yeah. Here's a card!" he explained, handing over the card to the Ravenclaw girl. "Happy Valentine's Day." He nodded and then returned to his seat. Nope he hadn't gotten the hang of talking to girls yet. It would take a couple of decades at this rate.

And now he was in trouble for accepting Valentine's from Lex? Mo shook his head and returned his attention to the cards he was working on. It seemed like there weren't many of the signs he needed, or those that were had plenty of cards. Could he give one to himself? He was in his own sun sign, after all.

"A card for you, Mo, you handsome devil," Mo set a blank sheet of paper in front of himself. His first card. He was so well liked. Hehe.

But then Cris was handing him a card, which was decent, since Mo was sure he wasn't in the boy's group of signs. "Thanks. I'll... treasure it always." Awkward that the chap seemed to have a little crush on him, when Mo was completely happy with his Caterina.

OH CATERINA. A card for Caterina.

AJ looked down at her card and couldn't suppress a giggle. She only hoped that Angel would find it amusing as well. On the pink piece of paper there were lips drawn and colored in, in several different colors. There were big hearts and little hearts. In the middle of the card she wrote a message for her sister.



She totally couldn't get mad at her either because it wasn't like she spelled out Benjamin's name or anything. Just in case somebody saw it or something they wouldn't have any idea who they were talking about. "Here you go sis." She plopped the card down on her desk and waited for her reaction.

Hm. He'd go with the red parchment this time around, already having used a ton of the white and pink. Branching out. You know, being fair to all the parchment colors and whatnot. Anyways... The Gryffindor reached over for another crayon to scrawl out a note to his Snake friend Simon, when he was approached by someone that he didn't know.

Fello Capricorn? Huh? Zander had already received a lovely card from Ethan and he TOTALLY wasn't expecting another one! This Valentines business really isn't that bad. He put on a nice, warm smile as he looked at the card. "I like the... I like the lion!" Yep. That was a lion... Hopefully. Well, he couldn't really judge. His unicorn drawing was um, a little less than a clear unicorn. Ahem.

"Thanks, for the card" the Gryffindor's smile grew even wider as he read the message. Oh wait, he didn't even know this kid! "Oh and I'm Zander by the way," Hm. Maybe he'd actually prove his mother right this time around. He really was starting to talk to more people! Third year is AWESSOOOME.

Alright time to deliver. He saw Simon receiving a valentine from Grayson. He smiled and maybe might make one for him if he knew his sign. He would find out eventually. He made his way over to the third year slytherin. He just met him in the dungeons corridor but they have become fast friends. He tapped him on the shoulder and said, "Happy Valentine's Day Mate.." he smiled. He gave him card that went a little something like this.

He wondered if he should make the professor a valentine's day card. Hmm let see if he had enough supplies first.
