post 5: Zander, Capricorn (Steals Lex!) SPOILER!!: Lux Was it too much pink? He suddenly felt super self conscious about the card. So much so that he had a strange urge to pull it out of Lux's hands and RUN. But he didn't. He suppressed the urge. Because that's what strong Gryffindor's do. They suppress the urge... right? Either way, it didn't look like she completely hated it... So that was a good sign? Right? WOAH HUG! He was not expecting that. He patted her back a little uncomfortably. He wasn't really the hugging type... Yet. But either way he smiled and blushed as she complimented the card. Maybe Valentines Day wasn't a complete flop after all? It actually wasn't that bad. Aside from all that snapping at the beginning of class of course. So now that he had finished with Lux's card, he wasn't really sure of what else to do. Should he make another one? He was already getting in the whole groove of things. And this Valentines Day stuff wasn't as bad as he had thought it would be. So why not? He scanned the room for one of the three signs. Anyone out there? ANnnnnyone at all? OH LEX! The Gryffindor Prefect, her sign said Gemini! That was his mars thing or whatever they were called. So he could make a card for her? Even though he had only really spoken to her once... |
post 4-Simon Holden, Gemini Ian thanked him for the card. So the Hufflepuff agreed that research was better, hey? Then perhaps they should hang out sometime. "I suppose so if you don't have a huge fear of heights," he laughed with a wicked grin as he returned to his seat. Then Simon looked up and saw the Lion kid that he was going to give the Valentine too. "Oh hey! Thanks this is awesome. I'm Simon." But the kid probably already knew that... Yeah. Awkward. Anyway... Then he picked up the card for Victor as well. "Also, I made you a card!" The Snake handed the simple card to Victor. It had his name written in cursive neatly (and fancily) on the front. SPOILER!!: text Now who was next victim? :mwaha: |
Post 3 - (Making and delivering) AJ Valentine, Aries & Cancer On her way back to her desk she noticed that her buddy Ian was a cancer and that apparently was compatible with her. What should she do this time? AJ was not very good at the whole card making thing. Picking up a black piece of paper this time she selected a white crayon to go with it. A thought immediately came to her mind. She stuck her tongue out while she worked diligently a making a unicorn. Making sure that everything was just right, she decided that there needed to be a moon. Yeah... a unicorn outside under the moon. Didn't that just sounds majestic? Admiring her work she decided that her horn needed a touch of sparkles. Reaching for the glitter she sprinkled them on. Perfect. SPOILER!!: "Special delivery for Ian." she said to her friend with a smile. |
Lex, Gemini - Post 2 While Lex waiting for Mo to be the good sport he was, she leaned against the nearest table and got another parchment folded. Might as well get started on the next one. This would be for a Pisces, like...the first one she saw, she didn't even care who they were or what they might have done to her in the past. Lex didn't mind breaking rules but after giving one to Mo, she figured she'd do at least one right before leaving. For a few moments she stared at the blank parchment, realizing she had nothing nice to say and nothing really appreciative she wanted to put on paper, not if she was going to give it to the first random person she saw anyway. Had to think. Just a few words. They didn't have to mean anything either! Not like Professor smiles would be going around asking to see the cards and if she did she'd see why not everyone was cut out for Valentines Day whether it was all about love or not. In the end she figured she would simply scribble as she'd done with the firsy card. Nothing too fancy. Quote:

Post 7: Cristoffer Strand, Virgo. Giving Jasmine one Cris pulled out another piece of parchment and sat staring down at it. This one was special...not that the others weren't too. Those were also special, but this one....this one for his girlfriend. His true Valentine. Cris began drawing in the cartoon figure holding a nice red heart. Liking the fact that one heart turned out, Cris began drawing in more hearts. He began to laugh as he drew out first one and then another. He hated to admit it but he was actually getting good at drawing them too. Then, just for the fun of it, he drew in two smiley faces. Now for the coloring. Cris took his time coloring the small shaped hearts. First selecting a red crayon, and then a purple one and then a pink. Cris hoped that Jasmine liked the colors he had picked. Next were the wordings. Cris knew what he felt in his heart, but he just didn't know how to translate them into drawings. So he just simply picked the words that he hoped would represent everything he felt. Once he was done, he sat back and studied and looked at it. Then folding the paper in half, Cris leaned over to Jasmine. "Here Jasmine, I made this for you. Happy Valentine's Day," he smiled at her before handing her the card. Then he turned back to his own desk and pulled out another blank piece of white paper. He was now on a roll!! |
Post 3 - Mo B., Cancer - card to Lex "No problem, mate. It comes directly from the heart," Mo nodded at Cris's salute and grinned a little at the response before returning to his very heartfelt Valentine's. He'd already set a piece of paper to make one for Cat, who happened to be a Leo and therefore able to accept any cards he gave her. Although apparently the accepting and the giving weren't nearly as rule-bound as Mo would have thought, considering that Cambridge had just shoved a Valentine at him. Maybe she was in love with him, 'cause it was pretty clear he wasn't on her list of matches. He winked broadly at her and handed over the half-decorated card he'd been working on. "Happy Valentine's Day, Cambridge. Just 'cause you deserve it." |
Kace Lecium, Capricorn Post 2- Giving Card to Lux Kace was looking around and noticed Lux was a Gemini. That matched one of his signs! He grinned and decided to write a valentine's day card for one of his bestest friends. He was figuring out what to write. He smirked and then began to write. He hoped she would like it. He thought of a nickname and remembered she loved cucumber's sandwiches. He grinned and laughed to himself of that memory and that nickname stuck. SPOILER!!: Lux Valentine's Day Card After he looked it over and thought it seemed good. He folded it up and colored the front and decided to deliver it to him. He went over and tapped Lux on her shoulder. "A Valentine for you..." he smiled. |
Post 6: Zander, Capricorn + LEEEEX WE'VE GOT A DELIVERY So parchment. Blank white parchment. Uh okay. How'd he go about this card making business again? He had already made one, so why was this so hard? It probably had to do with his indifference towards Valentines Day. He had thought that making the card for Lux changed his outlook on the trivial holiday, but really it all wore off real fast. It was probably all this pink frilly stuff. It was making him all itchy and uncomfortable again. Anyways.... The Gryffindor picked up a pink crayon- because that's as much spirit as he was feeling this time around- and started doodling a little. See the only problem was that he didn't really know Lex. Unlike the Hufflepuff he made the first card for, he didn't really know what to draw for the Prefect. And he wasn't even sure if she liked hearts and pink and snapping. It made him uncomfortable. But did it make her uncomfortable? She didn't really look all too happy from where he was sitting... Maybe she wasn't into this holiday either? With a shrug, the boy started writing in his loopy handwriting. Quote:
Quote:
But it still felt like it was lacking. Jeez. What else would it take. A unicorn maybe? Zander drew his absolute best unicorn on the front of the card... It kind of looked like a wonky horse.... on three legs?... With a funky head?... But it was the best one he could muster considering he only really saw the unicorn for a few minutes before it ran off. Hopefully the Prefect wouldn't mind. Getting up and out of his chair, he went to go and deliver the card. "Hi, Lex, this is for you." |
Lex, Gemini - Post 3 (Sophie Newell) Quote:
Turning slightly, she caught sight of Sophie from across the room and remembered having a look at her parchment. The girl was pisces!! "Yo! Newell!" This worked out perfectly for her. Sophie was one of those people who didn't annoy her to the point of grinding her teeth. Girl was good people and more importantly she was on Lex's list. "This is yours." The Gryffindor extended the card she'd just made. It wasn't much but surely the girl didn't expect anything fancy. Alexa did not DO Valentines Day. |
Mo as well.. Oh brrr, she shivered a bit. It seemed a gust of wind outside had tested her heating charms. Pulling her wand Cassie moved to get them back in order real quick. Yes warmth, wasn't it wonderful. Turning back to the class, she beamed. Weren't they doing so wonderful! Moving to the back she grabbed her favorite kitty cup and speaking of kitty she turned her head at just the moment she knew Gemini would be joining them. Giving the fur ball a little pat her green eyes shifted as a student came to her. SPOILER!!: Cris Listening her smile beamed towards him. "Well isn't that sweet. Thank you soooo much Cristoffer." She glanced down at the card, it was adorbs. "Nes.. I mean Professor Glendower you have to see this card." So cute, really. "I hope you are enjoying giving out Valentine's to your classmates." It was a great feeling to give and she hoped they were benefiting from it to. As she spoke to Cris though she was noticing something else and turned her eyes, "Excuse me please." SPOILER!!: Alexa Did Miss Cambridge just give a Valentine to Mr. Branxton? It couldn't be her lists clearly had other signs and not his. She smiled looking at the two. "Miss Cambridge. I think my instructions were to use this list and find someone in the class that had the Astrology sign that matched. Looking at Mr. Branxton's sign and your list it clearly isn't on there. I know Mr. Branxton is a very nice boy and attractive for you, but please give out the Valentine's to your compatible signs first. At the end of class you are very welcome to use my extra paper for your boyfriend or crush." Giving the girl another encouraging, beaming smile she picked up a cookie. "Here have another cookie, they are just scrumptious." Now to move on to other students to make sure they were having fun and giving out the right Valentine's. |
Post #2 :: Beverly Wayne, Leo After coloring the entire blue paper with gray stripes and a very artistic smiley face, Beverly glanced around to see who she was going to hand these silly, recyclable and very useless cards to. There weren't many Leo folk, which she wasn't sure if it was a good or bad thing yet. She spotted her target. Okay. Time to write some silly thing on this card. Oh, right. It also had to be nice. Tapping a marker against her chin in thought, Beverly came up with something quite brilliant considering she didn't know this person. Scribble, scribble, scribble...grumble. |
Lex, Gemini - Post 4 SPOILER!!: N'aaawwww Zander! :3 If her count was right, she only needed to do one more card and she'd be done with this and back at her table eating cookies, yes? Yes. The only problem now was finding a Gemini--or she could give it to another random person. Did it really matter in the end? Cards being passed out was the important part. Lex spun on her heel, ready to make her way to the other side of the room when she ran right into one of her little lions. Before she could ask if he was lost, he was offering her a card. Oh right. They were still doing that run around thing. Well she couldn't just leave him standing there with the card--no actually she could and in most cases she WOULD but this was one of hers despite her not wearing her Prefect Badge anymore and he was an ickle. "Gee thanks--" The smile she'd offered threatened to fall when she saw all the pink. Ew. The smile didn't leave though because she could be more professional and grateful than that. "Neat card...interesting looking donkey..." GRIN. Most. Encouraging Prefect. EVER. "Wish you'd been a Gemini.. You could'a put me out of my misery already." But alas he was a Capricorn. Didn't they already have enough of those? SPOILER!!: Professor Smiles Eye twitch. EYE TWITCH. NO. Nononononononononono. This was HIS fault wasn't it? Because of the winking? SEE WHAT YOU DID BRANXTON??? "He's not my boyfriend. I don't have a boyfriend. I don't want a boyfriend and I don't believe in crushes." NO. Keep the extra paper, keep the cookies. Lex wanted none of it. Jeez, who knew giving out a random card would be this much trouble? She'd just...be sure she gave the last one to a damn Gemini to save herself a repeat of this. Merlin. |
Post 8 - Cristoffer Strand, Virgo. You're it, Mo Hmmm....Cris wondered whether he had time to make another V-card. Since it looked like there were no more students with Virgo or Libra as their sign, Cris decided to make one for Marcus Cris couldn't quite remember whether one of Marcus' signs was compatible with his, but he figured that he would make one for him anyway. Cris suspected that Mo wasn't one for flowery stuff, Cris decided that he would just make one simple but still heartfelt. The only drawing he made was one of a hand in a thumbs up position. Then the rest were the wording. Cris hoped that Marcus didn't mind him his play of words using his nickname. Once he had finished coloring the card, Cris got up and went in search for the Ravenclaw. "Hey Marcus, I made one for you too....and I mean every word of it. Happy Valentine's Day," Cris smiled at the older boy as he gave him, his Valentine's Day card. |
Post 1 Lucy thought: "It's a wondeful idea!.. Lucy loved to create a card for her Valentine person. So she began to draw and color; then she took a piece of parchment, Lucy writed her signs: Quote:
|
Post 2- Leah, Aries (AJ, Jasmine) Leah did not need to wait long before her huge fans started sending her cards. First was AJ, who bravely came up to her. "Oh hey there, yay for Aries!" she smiled, picking up a piece of paper and starting to make a Valentine's card for AJ. The Hufflepuff could not help but feel that she was somehow destined to be good friends with the Valentines. "Ha! Here's yours." Leah soon said after a couple more hearts, handing AJ the card. "Happy Valentine's Day, AJ!" she said, while Jasmine came up to her. "Hi, Jasmine. Aah, thank you so much. I hope I can make you one but," the second year peeked over at the older girl's sign, "unfortunately you're not my match." she shook her head. "I hope you have a great day too! With Cris." she added softly with a mischievous smile. Now was her time to go hunt for people. Gathering up her markers and paper, Leah went off wandering around. SPOILER!!: AJ's card |
Post 2 To Adi Quote:
Then she turned at her classmate and she said: "Hi Adi, I made this card for you .... Happy Valentine's Day!" |
Post 6-Jasmine, Taurus......Delivery for Miss Valentine Jasmine grabbed another piece of parchment and got to work on A.J. Valentines's Valentine. Taking several crayons, she drew and scribbled and wrote until she thought that she put everything that she wanted on the card. Taking a moment to look at it, she figured that it was ready for delivery. SPOILER!!: A.J.'s card Picking up her card, Jasmine walked over to A.J. And tapped her on the shoulder. "Hi, I'm Jasmine and I have a card for you.". "Happy Valentine's Day", she said while handing A.J. the card. Jasmine was really enjoying this. She felt kind of like a Valentine's Day Santa Claus spreading joy among her classmates......well maybe that was a stretch. Not seeing any more matches for her sign, she decided that now was a good time to make a card for Cris. Returning to her seat, Jasmine started to think about what she would write in the card. It had to be verrry special. |
Kevin , Leo post 2 - to lex *grins* Well, no one had given him a card yet. Seriously guys he might be a snappy Gryffindor who also happened to be a Leo which was the sign of a lion but he didn't bite you know? But it didn't surprise him THAT much that he hadn't gotten any cards so far. That didn't stop him from making cards on his own though. So Kevin had grabbed a red crayon and an empty card before he began to doodle on it. Literally doodling on it since he only scratched some weird lines and circles on the paper before he added a text that was for his Prefect Lex. Since she was a Gemini. When he was done with the card he checked it and then crumpled it up in to a ball. Spotting the Gryffindor Prefect walking towards the end of the room, Kevin stood up from his seat and THREW the paper at her, aiming for her head. |
Post 5 (Adi Rehman- Capricorn) SPOILER!!: Lucy Adi was pondering on what else to write in Zander's card when he heard another voice addressing him. It was the little Gryffindor first year, Lucy, was it? She had made him a card? Aw that was nice. "Hey! Happy Valentine's Day to you, too.'' He grinned and accepted the card. "Thanks a lot.'' And back to thinking up of stuff. Adi put his pencil to the parchment again and continued to write: Quote:

Post 7 - Ian Cancer, Response to AJ and card for Lucy Quote:
He stood up and gave the firstie a hug. Very nice. Certainly has made my day a bit better. Thank you so much, AJ. Maybe you me and Adi can all go outside and hang out a little more when it warms up. He shivered as he felt a chill and noticed the professor checking on her heating charms.\ SPOILER!!: Lucy Ian noted on his way back from delivering a card to Agatha another person who was Capricorn. Excellent... he thought to himself. He pondered her a moment, saw she was a first year student and decided on something. He took out a gold parchment and a ruby crayon and did his best job of drawing a gryffin. It looked rather majestic with a bushy mane, however he was rubbish at drawing feathers and so the wings came out rather asymmetrical. He decided to try the same effect he'd used in Agatha's card and used his thumb to sort of soften the lines. It worked out, but the size difference was still rather noticeable. He took out a black crayon and decided to shroud the lion in shadows and then with a white one added little dots for starlight twinkles. Satisfied he'd done the best he could, he opened the parchment to write something. He tapped the quill against his forehead for a bit (which left lovely ink marks on his left temple) and finally came up with the following words. Quote:
He finished off with a nice scratching of his name in blue To Lucy from Ian |
Post 4 - Ethan, Libra - Card to Grayson …….and he was done! DONE! He’s proud of the outcome of his card for Grayson, and he was hoping he’d…well, appreciate it at least. No really, the pink actually looked nice. And…woops. He used A LOT of glitter on this one. Hehehehe. Sparkly sparkly for one Grayson Whitlock. It was just appropriate, no? Lift his spirits up and whatnot. Grinning, he got up from his seat and approached his fellow snake. Sure, he’s not a Gemini nor a Sagittarius, but what the heck. As if he’s got anything better to do now, no? Unless he’d spot a Sagittarius… Anyway. Ahem. Haaaai Grayson! “Grrrrrrreetings, kind sir!” Ethan made his presence known as he opened his arms wide to get Grayson’s attention. “I was tasked to do the most daunting thing. And that is to give you this card.” Ethan had to step back as soon as he slipped the card onto Grayson’s table. He still had to be careful though, because half-Frenchie guy might tackle him for giving him a shockingly pink, glittery card. Hehehe. Come on Grayson, smiiiiiiiile! SPOILER!!: Cris! Ethan turned to see who it was and saw Cris! Oh hello there fellow (former) Durmstranian. "Cris! Hey, thanks!" the third year kid grinned at the older student and read his card. Somehow Ethan felt homesick because of what Cris wrote. That was probably the only thing he misses when he was still studying there. Cris had been a helpful older student and boy, was he glad to see him here? Yes, yes. He will make one for Cris too. And so...he went back to his desk and created another one. Would he like a pink card too? Grin. |
Post 9, Cristoffer Strand, Virgo. For Adi, Lux and Bay Now that Cris had given Valentine's 0Day cards to the people who had the same compatible Astrological signs that he had, and he had given his own sweet Valentine her own card, Cris decided that he would make cards for the people he knew. He looked around the classroom, until his eyes fell on three people. Two of them were Sander's close friends. One he considered his brother and the other, his younger sister. Cris believed that Sander's friends were his friends too and even though, he wasn't as close to them as Sander had, Cris decided that he would make each of them a card. The third person in the room, Cris liked and considered the boy his friend. Cris pulled out three white pieces of paper and began creating the first one. He first drew in the small hearts just like the ones he had drawn for Jasmine. Then he drew in a pair of hearts and another two coloring the first pair, red and the second pair pink. He then wrote the words Hugs in the pink ones. Looking down at his first drawing he wondered what else to draw in...and just then an idea popped into his head. Cris grinned as he began drawing something that looked like a cucumber. Sander had often mentioned how much Lux loved eating cucumber sandwiches....blech!!. What else was missing? Duh!...a drawing of a blond girl with sparkling eyes. Cris quickly sketched it in. Then he added in the words...and he was done. Now on to the next card. Cris sketched in the cartoon figures of two boys with their arms around each other. Then he grew a first place ribbon and lastly a scrappy picture of a lion. Then came the words. This one was going to Bay. He was left with one more card to make. Cris drew two stick figures shaking hands and then a cartoon figure of a boy standing on a pedestal. He then added the number 1 on the pedestal. He was almost finished. Cris picked up a yellow ochre crayon and used that to write in the words, before switching to a red one to write in the words, Happy Valentine's Day. Cris sat back in his seat and picked up all three of his cards. He looked at all three before getting up from his chair and first walking over to Adi. "Happy Valentine's Day, Adi...and meant every word I wrote in this" Cris smiled at his young badger friend, as he handed over the card to Adi. Then, he walked over to where Lux and Bay were sitting together. He handed Lux her card before turning to give Bay, his. "Happy Valentine's Day, to the both of you" Cris smiled at both of them before quickly turning and walking away. He sat down, pulled his chair closer to where Jasmine was sitting and turned to ask her, "So how are you doing with your Valentine's Day cards?" Cris whispered to her. |
Post 7-Jasmine, Taurus.........Delivering Cris' card As Jasmine started to write, the words came easily. She didn't know how great of a card it would be, but she hoped that it would express her feelings. Her card had more words than pictures, but she hoped that Cris would like it. Jasmine tried to turn away from him so he couldn't see what she was doing. Hopefully it would be a nice surprise. SPOILER!!: Cris' card SPOILER!!: Cris Suddenly, Cris leaned over and handed Jasmine a card. You made this........for me? Jasmine took the card and opened it. Looking at Cris, she said, "Oh Cris, it's beautiful". "I love it! Thank you so much" Remembering that she was in class, she would have to hold off anymore thank yous until later. Still smiling about her beautiful card, Jasmine reached down for the one she had made and handed it to Cris. |
Post 5 - Ethan, Libra - Card to Cris At the last minute, Ethan changed his mind and opted for a red coloured paper to honour his and Cris’ former school. Somehow he had a good time back there because he got a lot of help from the older students, and Cris was one of them. Ethan had to review what was said on his card and thought it was an okay message. He didn’t want it to be mushy and stuff. Thanking the guy was just appropriate no? But of course, he had to wish him a Happy Valentine’s Day too. Although, he seems to be having a good one already, yeah? Grinning, Ethan stood up again and delivered his card to Cris. “Yo, Cris!” he said as he waved the card. “Here you go, kind sir!” Ethan slipped the card on his table and gave the older student a salute and a grin. Now back to card making…hmm. Still no Sagittarius? Nope. But hey look! It looks like Lex needs a card…and she’s a Gemini! Coooooooooool. Cool. Grin. |
#2 - Agatha, Leo Text Cut: N'aww, Ian :3 Agatha was focused on creating her card for shedidn'tknowwhoyet when she noticed someone approaching her table. Looking up, she saw a Hufflepuff boy she had never seen before and she simply watched as he mumbled some sort of explanation for giving her the card. The Slytherin didn't even have time to open her mouth to say anything because the boy had already rushed off. Well then. Picking the card up, she eyed the cover for a second then flipped it open. That was all a bit suspicious to her, but she read it anyway. Oh, it was a poem. At least Agatha liked poems. ...Well. Well. It was obvious she wasn't thrilled with this silly lesson. Pfft, whatever. Agatha looked at the Hufflepuff boy who was already sitting down again. Maybe Hufflepuffs were just nice, as people said. Or maybe she'd just have to watch that 'niceness'. Because honestly... were people just 'nice' to others like that? She didn't think so. The third year kept wondering what the boy might want from her and it wasn't until she noticed Simon giving her a funny look that she snapped back to reality. What was he smirking for? Oh no, did that mean he was becoming weird like Ethan? She would need to sort that out as soon as the lesson finished. As for now, she needed to decide who was worthy to receive her card. Hm......... no one. OH, she knew who! Simon and Beverly. There, that was plenty of cards to make. She carried on working on her first one. |
