post 1, Victor Bay- Cancer

Alrighty now it was time to get up and have some more fun. Taking a name tag he wrote his name down with his zodiac sign.

Quote:

Victor Bay, Cancer
and stuck it on his shirt.. now looking at his chart he needed to find some people who either had Cancer, Gemini or Pisces and make them some Valentines Day Cards.

He was now on the hunt for these people.

HE’S A GEMINI SO HE’S GONNA GET A CARD FROM ETHAN OKAY? Okay. Ethan got to work and added the final touches. He wanted to make this card special since Simon’s a very good friend. Who would have thought that that quiet boy will actually be his...best friend?

Ethan paused. Should he ask? Maybe…maybe Simon’s got a best friend already and he didn’t want to ask if he could also be one. That’ll be just silly, no? The best friend title is an exclusive one for the boy, so there's that. Throwing a side glance at the boy beside him, Ethan slipped his masterpiece towards Simon. “Special delivery!” he didn’t need to look at his friend for his reaction though. He’ll just have to make more cards. You know, to keep himself distracted from his recent thought. Best friend, hmm?

Apparently his Valentine’s Card won’t send itself to another Gemini or a Saggitarius, no? To make his card making more efficient, he stood up and roamed around the classroom to peak at their signs. Oh hey, look! Lux is a Gemini too! Noted.

Simon was still searching around the room for someone to make a card for when Ethan slipped him a Valentine's card. His blue eyes widened when he picked up the card and read it. It was absolutely perfect! Simon grinned at his best mate. "Thanks Ethan! This is the best card that I've ever gotten," he said as he patted his friend on the back. Simon was going to keep it forever. No one had every made him a more appropriate card that conveyed their friendship.

Note to self: he'd make Ethan a card later.

Now getting on with the assignment, Simon searched around the room for someone with a compatible sign when he saw that this Hufflepuff boy called Ian (Edward Penguin). He grabbed a yellow coloured card, picked up a crayon, and began drawing. He didn't know this boy at all. He wondered what the boy liked. He stared at the boy for a couple of minutes, trying to read his body language and trying to be all-Sherlock Holmes-like so that he could find out what type of person he was. However, Simon was getting nowhere.. Uhhh..

He went for something simplistic. He drew a couple of balloons on the front and then inside in neat handwriting wrote:

Quote:

Hi Ian,
We don't know each other, but I just wanted to wish you an awesome day this Valentine's day! Enjoy the day and do whatever you love to do whether it's from researching to playing Quidditch (though researching is way cooler in my opinion).
Bye!
-Simon

That looked sort of good. He hoped the boy would like it.

Getting up from his table, he approached Ian and held out the card to him. "Incoming delivery for a Mr. Ian Tinker. We don't know each other, but.. yeah.. Here's a card," said Simon really awkwardly. He gave the boy a shy wave and then returned to his seat.

Yep. That had been super awkward. He glanced about the room, seeing who else he could make a card for... His blue eyes landed on Agatha. He smirked. :mwaha: Oh this would be fun. He picked up a pale purple card and began his work.

Post 3: Zander, Capricorn

Zander just stared at the parchment in front of him. Uh. He wasn't creative at all. How would he make a worthy card? He needed something nice because Lux had been such a good friend all term. She was even giving him girl advice! Even though she didn't know that Bentley was said girl.... But she was helping him nonetheless!

It had to be good.

WAIT, BRUSSELS SPROUTS! That was like an inside joke now, right? At least he hoped that she'd remember... And if not then he'd just have a random brussels sprout on her card... Maybe he should put an explanation along with it?

Either way the Gryffindor started doodling and writing in loopy cursive writing. Hopefully she'd like it... Because he didn't really have an artistic bone is his body. But he was trying. Really hard.

Post 1, AJ Valentine - Aries. Anyone?

They would be making cards? Well, that was a lot better than some hard assignment so there would be no complaining heard from AJ. So she was an Aries, and she needed to find somebody else who was one too.

First off she figured she could have a card all ready to go so she could just hunt that person down and hand it right over. That way one obstacle would be down. She selected a red piece of paper and picked up a white and black crayon.

Tapping the crayon to her chin she thought for a moment about what to make. She wasn't one for the girly stuff and normally didn't make v-day cards. Deciding on drawing some different colored hearts AJ got right to work. In the middle of the paper she wrote 'Happy V-Day' Yup. That was about it. Now who was an Aries?

Uhhh....WHAT.

Sophie just...NO. This sounded humiliating in every aspect. What if Sophie didn't even get a card? Or what if she was forced to give a card to some random person she didn't even like? This just spelled T-R-O-U-B-L-E. If her brother was anywhere around her, which he wasn't, she'd make him a friendship Valentine's Day card. They were born on the same day, so he was a Pisces, too.

No such luck.

At least if she finished early, she got to go get a cookie. She felt LAME, but she made herself a sign:

Sophie Newell: PISCES.

Give me a card? Please? So I don't look like a loser...

Post 1 - Mo Branxton, Cancer

Hmph. Making Valentines for each other? It was kind of touchy-feely warm and fuzzy stuff, and Mo wasn't sure he appreciated fluff during his NEWT year. Merlin knew Cat deserved a Valentine, though, so at least he could participate AND sweet talk the girlfriend at the same time.

Plus probably give out some other cards as well, whatever worked.

Mo propped up his card before pulling over more art supplies and starting an industrious effort to make a Valentine. For someone. Anyone.

FREAKING. YEEEEEEEEEEEES.

No snaps though, please and thank you.

Thoroughly PLEASED he was with his answer. Uh huh. Smirking a little, he sat back in his seat. And no, he was not going to be looking at his birth chart if he got lost. Unless, of course, it started speaking the truth. Then he might just consider it. Something he definitely wasn't considering was using the glitter. Nope. He was going to make a sign but glitter?! No, tha--

.................................... Oh jeez. What was THIS?! They had to make CARDS for people?

.................. No. Just NO.

Grayson groaned and placed his head in his hands. Show appreciation and love for people? But some people were weird and he didn't like them. He didn't want to show love and appreciation for those loonies. And this was VALENTINE'S DAY. That made it all worse! Even if Professor Cassie had said that it wasn't for people who were dating, some creep-o was GOING to think that he, Grayson Douglas Whitlock, was in love with them. DID SHE SEE THE PROBLEM?

Ugh. Fine. Just don't expect anything lovey dovey from him, mkay?

There. Done. Where are the admirers?

Oh, hey, Grayson!

Sophie spotted Grayson across the room and decided to stroll over that way and just peek at his sign. No harm in peeking at a sign. If it said Aquarius, Gemini, or Pisces, she was totally going to make the new Slytherin hottie a Valentine. Only, she was going to distribute it when he wasn't looking.

That was just how she rolled.

Besides that, she thought he already had a girlfriend or something, so no use in making herself look desperate. They had already had a conversation on that. Sophie sort of walked sloooowly across the room, trying not to make eye contact with Grayson. When she got close enough, she spotted his sign.

DARN. The new Slytherin hottie was a Capricorn. BOO, Professor Morgan.

Post 5: Cris Sander, Virgo. Handing card to Ethan

Cris decided to settle with something simple to draw...without messing it up too much. He drew in stars and colored them Gold in color. Then he drew in a trophy and wrote a 1 in it.

Then because it was Valentine's Day, he drew in two hearts, but added some green around it...just because Ethan was a Slytherin...plus also the fact that the color green made the heart, more masculine looking.

The cartoon drawing of Ethan was the hardest, and even though Cris tried to draw one that resembled him, the only thing he was able to do successfully was get the color of his hair right.

Cris sat back and studied his makeshift card for Ethan. Picking up a red crayon, Cris wrote in the words Happy Valentine's Day. He was done. Was it a masterpiece? Nope! Cris just hoped Ethan liked it anyway. Getting up from his seat Cris walked over to the young Slytherin boy and handed his Valentine's Day card to him.

"Here you go, bud. I hope you like it. Picasso I'm most definitely not," Cris grinned down at his friend before returning to his desk. Then he pulled out another white piece of paper and began creating another Valentine's Day Card.

His creative juices were definitely flowing now. His next recipient? Another person who had one of the same signs that he did.

Cassie walked around the room as they looked at their sun and moon sign. It didn’t take a seer to be able to figure out what some of them were thinking as the read it. Facial expressions spoke a thousand words. Noticing a hand go up she moved toward the student,

“Oh? What is confusing you about it?” The signs can get complicated so she smiled encouragingly knowing that questions would come up. “That’s what we are here for, learning and understanding. So any questions don’t ever hesitate to ask.” She wanted the students to know more about this unappreciated subject as well as share in her passion for it.

Hearing another question she turned to the Slytherin and grinned as she almost bounced over towards her. Her question did make her chuckle, “What do you mean dear? Is it your moon sign or Sun?” Sometimes younger students misinterpret the words, which could be the case at the moment. Looking towards the rest of the class, “I know some of you are probably thinking no way, especially with your moon sign, but remember as you mature your views and priorities do as well, so what might seem crazy now, might not be in the future.” Most of them were still finding themselves so the things that might be said about them really to them could sound not at all, but to an outsider looking in could be spot on, they just didn’t realize it yet.

The next question really caught her attention. Cassie moved towards the boy and looked down at his chart. She smiled at his work, “You are doing a-mazing and I can see where you think it’s in two houses, but look closely. If you take out these red and blue lines you will see this very thick black line. See it here? The moon is sitting right above the line so it’s only in the twelfth house. It can be tricky with all these different lines though, so I like how you are really looking and thinking about it.” Of course he got snaps for such a great effort!

She chuckled a bit as she walked towards the Gryffindor. Waiting for this type of response, “Ah yes, and ego sign that doesn’t sound like you. The sun can be harder for people to admit or see as themselves, because it is an outer characteristic. It’s what others see at times. If you are in a house that says you like to help others, you might take that as no you don’t, when really it’s just your personality. You help without even realizing your helping. As you grow you will come to find ore of awareness of these things.” Did that help explain it to Zander? She glanced at his chart. “Now this..” pointing to the ability to inspire others, “I’ve already seen this in you Mr. Zander. You came to my SNAC meeting, you didn’t know what was going to go on, you participated, you went outside and tried to help those animals and myself. So you inspired myself and others to keep working by your hard work. “ Giving him a smile she turned on her heel to help other students in need.

Then a word came that made the always smiling professor stop and turn her green eyes, “Oh no what’s wrong?” She over dramatically took her hand to her chest to be all sympathetic towards the upset child. “Those aren’t words I like to hear about our signs. Let’s look at them and see what’s wrong? Maybe it’s just a matter of misinterpretation.” She glanced down at his chart and snapped happily, “Your sun is in the same house as mine. This is a fabulous house to have your son in. It’s a great place for healers, professors, people who want to help. Serving others doesn’t have to mean literally serving like a house elf remember, I’m a server in a way, because I serve education to all of you. A healer is because he or she serves medicine and healing to patience.” Was that making sense to the boy? She hoped because it was a great way of looking at it. And this..” Pointing towards the self-confidence, “This is a part I love about these houses. They grow with you. You are young yet, so the self-confidence has room to grow. Something you might find that you lack now could make you become a stronger person because of your awareness of it.” See positive thinking was the best way to go about reading these. Finding the truth in them was the start of any great growth in who a person was. “Do you happen to know anyone that maybe be a little different than others? Mentally disturbed could have many forms of meanings. Or maybe someone sick that you have helped before? Empathy is something that shows great strength for a person in my field.

Moving back towards the front of the room she beamed at the class, “Great job everyone. I hope you found things that you liked and things that you didn’t.” Oh would that surprise anyone that she said that? “Your houses that your sun and moon are in only describe part of you. It’s not going to be all of you, so something’s could seem far fetched or off. It could be because you are still young, you really haven’t grown into your true identities yet. These traits are there you just don’t know it yet, or it could be missing a piece since you haven’t looked into the other planets and their houses. We could spend all day doing this, but what fun would that be when it’s Valentine’s Day! So we should use this for something special, don’t you think?”

It was getting closer to what she really wanted to do with this lesson and it was super exciting!!! “Now we will be putting some focus on your sun sign, but also the Venus and Mar symbols. We won’t be looking at their houses though. For this we will be looking at where they are placed in the Zodiac Wheel. Venus which looks like this, is considered the feminine symbol. Anyone want to venture as to why that is?” She looked around the room for answers. “Mars, which looks like this, is considered the masculine symbol. Guess again as to why?” This was fun, wasn’t it?

“Now what we do with these symbols is line them up to find the best matches. If you look at my chart my sun sign falls in Libra, which is my birth sign. Many of you will have this same type of thing. Your own sign is supposed to be your strongest match. I know.. I know people always say opposites attract, but if you think about it, do they really? What do you really have in common with someone that is the total opposite of you?” She had never found anyone she could be around more than a few months that was total opposite, WELL dating at least, but when it came to being just social she loved to be around everyone.

“Now some of you will find your sun is not in your birth sign, which is fine too, it just means that your sign is very compatible with this other sign. Venus being the more feminine is going to be a match that emotionally you are equal to, or well compatible for. They will understand your inner needs more. The more comforting, loving, sympathetic type needs. Whereas Mars being the more masculine is going to be your adventure and attraction type of compatibility. They are going to be those ones that you fit better with in interest and an attraction on their looks. “ Did they realize what they were doing now? “So our next step is to find out what Zodiac signs are most compatible with us. Now this doesn’t mean that others are not. No, people can get along with any match up, it just might me a little extra work. The ones that find their true sign match can find the easiest ways to get along.” Which is what she’d rather prefer. “If you look at mine you will see that my sun and Venus are in Libra, so my strongest match is my own sign, though Venus if you look is on the border of Libra and Scorpio, so Scorpio would be considered another close match. My Mars symbol is in Aquarius so this would be my third compatible sign. Take a few moments and see where those three signs are and write them down, you will need them for the next part of the class.”

Beverly was still brooding over her moon description. It was rubbish. UTTER rubbish. And now that Professor Morgan mentioned it, far fetched, too. She needed a new moon. One that wouldn't tell her when she could or couldn't eat. That was just simply BARBARIC. She'll eat all she wants whenever she wants.

Fortunately, they were going to be working with the sun sign. There was no need to come up with an elaborate lie about how the moon sign was a false. Beverly disliked her moon and when she disliked something it was rather hard to get her to un-dislike it.

All she hoped for now was that the signs didn't fail her. Aries had to be one of her compatible signs. Y'know, totally biased because her boyfriend was an Aries and it would be perfect. Not that it mattered.

Lets see what there was in store...

Quote:

Sun: Leo
Venus: Virgo
Mars: Taurus
No Aries. Well, now this was a bunch of RUBBISH too. First her moon hates on her and now Aries isn't compatible with her sign. Good thing she didn't believe in this stuff. Pfft.

Oh wonderful, wonderful they all seemed to really understand the symbolism for Venus and Mars. This was just splendid and everyone that answered got snaps. She was excited to keep moving on with the lesson. “Yes, yes correct all of you. This is just wonderful. Venus is known has the Goddess of love and is seen as more feminine, whereas Mars, the God of War, is certainly more manly so more masculine. Grayson very good bringing a very old saying of Women from Venus, Men are from Mars. A muggle wrote a book with that topic once. So the studies and writings go way back on this very topic we are discussing today.”

She walked around the room a bit, “I see most of you have written down your compatibility signs. Very good, but do you agree?” She grinned, knowing the answer from a few. It was always the same, no, no my girlfriend or boyfriend isn’t any of these sings. She just chuckled to herself, because she knew how those would turn out. It was always the same. “Now for the fun part of our lesson. You’ve learned a ton about Astrology today. You learned what the Zodiac chart looks like. No, I didn’t fully go over it, but you all have eyes, you can see it.” She pointed happily to the chart at the front of the room. “We have made a birth chart, that I highly recommend keeping, it might come in handy if you ever lose your path and want to see what could help in the planets and their meanings.” She loved to look at her birth chart, had a few in her office. “You've looked to see where your ego and inner traits lie on the chart. These are splendid things to know about yourself. You can’t fully be in a relationship unless you know some of the pieces of yourself. Lastly, you've found which signs you are most compatible with. “

Eeeeep!!! To the fun! With a flick of her wand red, white, purple, and pink parchment, more crayons, glitter, and color changing quills stopped at each table on little carts. “Now the first thing I need you to do is make a nice big sign using the white paper. This is going to have your name on it and your Astrology Sign. So for example.” She held up her white sign that read:

“Now once you’ve done that, I’ve said before Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be something that is only celebrated if you are dating. It should be a chance to show appreciation and love to one another. So on that note, what you will do for the remainder of the class is find one person that has a Zodiac sign that you have listed, so some have three others only have two to pick from. Find a person in this room with that compatible sign and make them a Valentine’s Card. So for example, I said Mar’s in my birth Chart was in Aquarius, I would need to find someone in the room that was an Aquarius and make that person a Valentine’s Card.” She snapped excitedly. Now wasn’t this better than some boring essay to see if they were paying attention. They got to get creative and have a good time! “Once you have made your card, I want you to take it to that person and give it to them. Now this is an assignment, so no getting jealous if your boyfriend or girlfriend has to pick someone else. A Valentine’s Card isn’t saying I love you, it’s just saying have a great day, you are awesome, and other fun positive things.” Muggles did it all the time.

“If you finish early please enjoy more cookies, there is more tea in the back of the room, and feel free to make more Valentine’s Cards for anyone. Plenty of supplies! You have about twenty minutes until the end of class so enjoy. “ Picking up a cookie, Cassie took a bite out of it before starting to walk around the room. She would help if needed and maybe even make her own card.

OOC: Awesome everyone, I didn’t quote anyone for the Venus/Mars answers, because everyone pretty much said the same things. Now for the activity just to explain a little better. You don’t have to make a sign with your charrie’s sign. This can just be in the Title to make it easier for others to find a sign to make a card for. See mine as an example!!!! In minimum of six posts, have your charrie find someone with at least one of the three/two signs you listed, making the Valentine’s Card, and then giving that person their Valentine’s Day Card. If for some reason not one person has any signs on your list PM me and we will work something out. Hopefully that won’t happen. If people get more than one Valentine that’s okay too, but please, PLEASE, try to get everyone in the class! Just like little school age children at parties, don’t leave anyone out! You can make a card and link it if you want, You don’t have to , just describing is fine. PLEASE do not just copy something from the internet.

You will have until Saturday, June 28 to finish this. I’ll end the lesson and dismiss around 8 p.m. EST.

Jotting some notes down, occasionally looking for the time, she rested her chin on her palm. Did she agree with her compatible signs? Uhm...NO. Beverly's preferred compatibility signs: Capricorn, Aquarius annnnd Aries. Top choices right THERE.

Writing her name down on the parchment, Beverly took a moment to pause and wrinkle her nose. Show appreciation and love? But she hardly appreciated anybody here her age and she DEFINITELY didn't love anyone. But whatever. House points were on the line.

Pausing once again, she cackled in her head. HAHAHA. She didn't need to get jealous. Her boyfriend wasn't even this class. HA.

Right, right. She needed to get started on this silly Valentine's Day card stuff. Collecting a few crafts stuff, she sat back down and thought of something nice to say to someone she didn't know. Hmm...

Post 2 - Mo Branxton, Cancer - card for Cris

Mo was NOT drawing hearts or cupids on his sheet of paper, but he DID draw a huge tree with long flailing branches. And two stick people underneath. It was a good tree, too, and Mo spent a ridiculously long amount of time drawing individual, fluttering leaves on the tree. Underneath the tree, Mo wrote the words "Happy Valentine's Day. Try not to lose an eye to the Willow."

Not for Cat, no. This card was for his apparent Astrological match, Cris.

"Hey, mate, here's a card for you. Don't lose it, 'cause I think it might be worth something someday," Mo sauntered across the room and dropped the card in front of the Hufflepuff. Now then... who should he make a card for now?

Post 4: Zander, Capricorn + LUX DELIVERY FOR YOU

Zander finished up drawing the funky little vegitable, but the card looked so plain on the oustide. Sigh. Though he wasn't a major fan of this valentines day stuff, he figured that it'd be okay to add some pink. Girls like Pink right? And Lux is a girl.... So more pink? And some hearts too... Because it was valentines day after all.

He had finally finished up the outside of the card, and now was time to work on the inside bit! Ah. This was where he was supposed to get all sentimental and stuff right?

Quote:

Hi Lux, Happy Valentines Day!
Thanks for being a great friend. And for all the girl advice. Hehe, I hope you liked the brussels sprout I drew for you. But anyways, your friendship means a lot. So thanks and I hope you and Bay have a great romantic day together.

Yuck. It was so hard to write that her and Bay bit in there. It was still weird knowing that he was friends with both of them. And that they dated. And held hands. And kissed. Weird.

But he was finally done with the card, and though it did take effort, he was pretty darn proud. Now to deliver it! He spotted the Hufflepuff who was now hard at work on a card herself. Holding the card out for her he smiled warmly. "Hi, Uh, Lux, I uh, I made you a card." Weird. "I... I hope you like it."

Post 4 - Lux, Gemini (*waves to Zander*)

The writing part of her card done, Lux decided to add some red and pink hearts to the outside of it. Not too many, but enough that she was sure Jasmine would be pleased. Girls liked hearts, right? Most of them did at least. And hopefully red and pink would be perfectly fine too! Once they were added, she went about shading in the rest of the card a nice blue colour. There was no way that blue could be left out.

Humming while she worked, it was a slight surprise when Zander came over with a card. Awwwww, that was so sweet. Caught up in her own work she had actually forgotten that she was supposed to get something too. "Thanks Zander!" Taking it from him, she giggled at the brussel sprout. It was so cute and of course she remembered what he was referring to. The message inside was really sweet.

Getting up from her seat, she gave him a hug. "It's amazing. Thank you so much. You're a great friend too!" He was so very nice to her.

post 3-Simon Holden, Gemini

After seeing that Agatha had already gotten a Valentine's card, Simon hid his away. He'd give the Valentine's card later to her when they were hanging out. Yeah, that seemed like a good idea. The boy scanned the classroom, looking for another person to make a card for. He needed to find someone that was either a Leo, Cancer, or Taurus.

He saw a Gryffindor boy (Victor) who was a Cancer. He would make him a card. Mhmm.. Once again, the boy tried the whole Sherlock Holmes style of reading body language but it didn't work too well. Ahem. He'd just start with something basic. On the front of the card, he wrote the boy's name in neat cursive.

Quote:

Hey Victor!
Gryffindors are red, Ravenclaws are blue.
Slytherins are green, and Hufflepuffs are yellow.
I don't really know you, but Happy Valentine's Day.
Hope that you have a good day.
-Simon

Admiring his handiwork, he smiled and then finished decorating it. He paused and then looked at his card for Agatha. He supposed that he could give that card to her now...

People, I need Valentine's card! She yelled in her heart, while going off to find Gemini or Pisces people.

Deciding that people were not just going to come over to her and announce that they are her perfect match, AJ pushed herself up and walked around the room.

Who was a match? Obviously her sister was, but she seemed to be way behind, and AJ just didn't feel like dealing with that at the moment. Looking around she spotted Leah. Hey, they were both the same sign. "I'm an Aries too." Did that mean that they were destined to be besties? Only time would tell. Right now though her bestie was Arista, and Adi... but she was not going to let her mind go there.

"Here you go." She handed over the card with the different colored hearts on them. She needed to make some more cards so she skipped back over to her desk. Maybe she could find another match. If not, Leah was going to be getting an awful lot from her.

Post 4 (Adi Rehman- Capricorn)

Adi was wondering if he should draw a couple more lions for Zander's card when he felt a slap on his shoulder. He looked around to find Ian. "Hey, Ian!'' Oh! The other boy made him a card? Cool! Adi took it and flicked it open. "This is awesome! Thanks, Ian.'' He particularly like the night time quidditch scene. "We'll be lifelong friends for sure.'' How about a fist bump, Ian?

Now what was he doing? Oh yes! Trying to decide of he should draw some more lions? But now the answer was clear. Naaah! This one unusual lion was enough. So...words. Adi needed words for this card. That shouldn't be a problem, right? He picked up his pencil again. He'd use that just in case he wanted to change a few words, then when he was satisfied with everything he would trace them over with the crayons.

Post 4 Delivering card to Leah.......Jasmine, Taurus

Having finished her card, Jasmine figured that it was time to deliver it to her zodiac match. Getting up from her seat, Jasmine walked over to Leah. "Hi Leah. I'm Jasmine. It seems that you're my match so I made a card for you. Happy Valentine's Day. I hope you have a great day."

Jasmine hoped that Leah would like her card, simple though it was. She had really enjoyed making it, in fact she had enjoyed the whole class so far. Professor Cassie said that they could make more than one card so Jasmine went to search for other potential matches. She had wanted to make a card for Cris, but didn't know if she could. Maybe she could if she had enough time.

SPOILER!!: Leah's card

The boy scanned the classroom, looking for another person to make a card for. He needed to find someone that was either a Leo, Cancer, or Taurus.

He saw a Gryffindor boy (Victor) who was a Cancer. He would make him a card. Mhmm.. Once again, the boy tried the whole Sherlock Holmes style of reading body language but it didn't work too well. Ahem. He'd just start with something basic. On the front of the card, he wrote the boy's name in neat cursive.

Admiring his handiwork, he smiled and then finished decorating it. He paused and then looked at his card for Agatha. He supposed that he could give that card to her now...

Bay felt totally lost.. everyone was making cards for everyone and it was a little bit crazy.. okay Bay he needs to get back into the action here.. and he got snapped in a kid.. his name tag said Simon… interesting that he hasn't met him yet.. and oh look he was looking over his way… squinting hard he tried to see if they shared a zodiac sign. and they did.

Bending over his parchment he wrote.

SIMON….
i'm supposed to write a poem or what not.
but all i can think of is robots.
even though its valentines day
and i don't really know you
I hope you don't float down a bay.
Shrugging his shoulders he thought thats the best he was going to do as he made his way over to the kid and coughed… "hey dude.. this is for you" he said as he placed the horrible poem/valentines day card on his desk.

Post 5 - Lux, Gemini + DELIVERY FOR JASMINE

Pulling out of her hug with Zander, Lux beamed at him before heading over to Jasmine. "Happy Valentines Day!" she said as she gave it over to the older girl with a smile. "I hope you like it." With all the red/pink hearts on the front and the lame message on the inside.

Quote:

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY, JASMINE

You are a great friend. Have a great day and keep smiling because you are awesome!

Ian smiled as it seemed his Adi appeared to appreciate the work of the card. Glad you like it, Adi. Figured I'd give you some encouragement since you've been such a good mate. He put out his fist and bumped like a champ. Lifelong indeed!

Post 6 - Receiving from Mo and giving card to Prof. Morgan xD

Cris blinked in surprise when none other than Marcus came up to where he was sitting and gave him a card.

"It's for me? Wow! Thanks, Marcus," Cris immediately thanked the Ravenclaw before he returned to his desk. Cris opened the card and immediately busted up laughing. There in front of him was a drawing of a tree with swinging arms. It had to be the Whomping Willow and the stick people under it had to be them.

Cris couldn't believe that Marcus actually remembered that day. He turned and waved his hand at Marcus to get his attention and when he did, gave him a mock salute.

Then it was back to the own V-card he was making.

Cris began first drawing in an avatar of someone with blond hair. Then he drew in paw prints along both sides of the white parchment.

Then he drew in animals...well they looked like animals. He couldn't promise they were or not. Then Cris colored them, using the various colored crayons he had in his disposal.

Next were the words. Cris smiled as he wrote them down and hoped that Professor Morgan understood his reference.

Then once he was done writing HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY in big bold red letters, Cris put down his crayons and studied his worksmanship. Pushing back his chair, he got up. Picking up the folded piece of white paper in his hand, Cris walked over to the Professor.

"Happy Valentine's Day, Professor. I hope that you have a great one," Cris smiled at her before handing the card he had made especially for her.

Then it was back to his desk again. Cris was now going to make one for his own special Valentine.

Lex, Gemini - Post 1 (MO!)

They...had to be making cards for each other. No matter how the Professor explained this, Lex still didn't like the idea and didn't like the effort that would need to be expended on such an activity either. Plus, two of her signs were the same, she'd have to go scanning extra hard to find two Geminis? Couldn't she give herself one since technically it spoke to her and her sun and birth and all that other rubbish? It would still count yes?

And how would she know anyway? Did she have to walk around checking people's parchments--op no, they were wearing signs. That was a bit more helpful but it didn't detract from what this activity was.

With a heaviest of signs, Lex grabbed a parchment and began scribbling. This wouldn't be much of a card, just a folded parchment with the words 'Sorry you had to be stuck in this class too, don't expect a Happy Valentines, you know me better than that. Oh and I appreciate'. Always the politically correct one.

Down right creative if you asked her. Lex

The Gryffindor pushed away from her seat and headed for Branxton. Did she care he was a Cancer? Hmmmmmm....NOPE. "Here, do me a favour and take this." She said, thrusting the card toward him. No there was no Cancer on her paper, no she wasn't looking for other Geminis. Don't ask, 'kay?

Jasmine continued to search for her next match. Was she the only Taurus in the class? So far it seemed that way. She didn't recall seeing any Aquarius signs around either. Then fortunately she saw another Aries. It looked like her next card would be going to A.J. Valentine.

Jasmine was surprised when Lux approached her with a card. She looked at the card and opened it to read the message inside. A smile spread across Jasmine's face as she read her card. "Thank you so much Lux. It's beautiful. I love it." It was so sweet of Lux to make a card for her.

Post 6 - Lux, Gemini

Lux was happy that Jasmine liked her card. "It's all true! You are a good friend!" Jasmine was a very nice person, and Lux was happy that she had met her at the start of term. They needed to hang out more, that would be a lot of fun! Smiling at the girl she said, "Have a great day," and wandered back over to her desk.

Was there enough time to make another card? There better be, because she had one more that she wanted to make.

Yep. That had been super awkward. He glanced about the room, seeing who else he could make a card for... His blue eyes landed on Agatha. He smirked. Oh this would be fun. He picked up a pale purple card and began his work.

Ian looked up to see a Slytherin student with a card. He was surprised but pleasantly so when he got a card. It had nice balloons on it and when he opened it, he read the nice words. I agree. Research is much better, but quidditch can be fun when you're with mates. Nice to meet you Simon. this, just in time for the boy to return to his seat. He'd seemed a little nervous, a condition Ian knew all too well.

He glanced around the room to see if there was anyone else who might like some encouragement and was not getting much 'love'. Ian certainly could see the benefit of this type of exercise. He certainly felt encouraged.

Lux, Gemini - DELIVERY FOR BAY

Taking another piece of parchment, Lux started drawing candies on it. Candies were nice for Valentines Day, and she loved them. Using bright and pretty crayons, she coloured them in. There were different kinds, and she hoped that Bay would like his special card: he loved candy as much as she did!

On the inside, she wrote:

Quote:

Roses are red,
Violets are blue.
I love candy,
But I prefer you.

XOXO

Look at her, she was a poet. Hehe. Going up to him, she tapped his shoulder gently. "Tada!" Card for you!
