Post #5; Grayson: Taurus Text Cut: Simon! <3 It was a good thing that he had balanced out all of the pink. "Uh huh! There's too much pink in here," he said as quietly as he could. Because Professor Cassie could always overhear something like that and, as much as he didn't like all this mushy gushy nonsense, he certainly didn't want her overhearing that. Nope. ................. LOL. This riddle. It was a laughing matter because he still hadn't figured it out. He wasn't going to give it up, though. No. The Slytherin pushed the thought aside for a while while he continued designing his card for Simon. It held no secret meaning, unlike his card for Ethan, because the two hadn't really hung out much. Soon. Sometime. But the card? The card was a silver-grey and held a picture of Simon riding on a dragon. See? No secret meaning. This was just a way of saying that the guy was awesome too, especially since he knew Ethan and Cutty as well. In green writing, Grayson wrote the following: Quote:
Why? Because he DID figure out that riddle. OR, he came up with an answer that he hoped would be the correct one. So, getting up, Grayson moved over to Simon. "Card for you!" he said, placing the card down on the boy's table, "And the answer to your riddle: was it poison?" Come on, he had to know. |
Post #5 :: Beverly Wayne, Leo (Chris) Now for her second card to be delivered. Now, this guy's parchment she had spotted from her seat and he was a Virgo, and since he was the first one she saw, Beverly decided he'd be the one to receive her card. The problem was that he wasn't in his seat. He was probably off handing out cards. Which meant she'd have to look around for him. Okaaay. This was the last activity, hopefully, and then it was time to leave, yeah? She could do this. HISS. Eyebrows rising a bit when she found him, Beverly gingerly made her way toward him. He was tall, but that was beyond the point. Poking him in the arm, she offered him the card she made. It had a hippogriff at the front with a speech bubble that said: Quote:

Post #6; Grayson: Taurus Quote:
He'd seen this one around quite a bit in classes and whatnot but, Grayson being Grayson, he hadn't really paid much attention to her. He knew that she was in Ravenclaw, though. And that............... ............... oh sweet Merlin, she had put hearts on his card. HEARTS. Jeez. The amount of pink in the room had gotten to someone else's head as well. SIGH. Regardless, he changed the smirk on his face into a smile as he looked at the older looking Ravenclaw. "It's nice to meet you, Jasmine. And thanks for the card!" He did like it. Or would pretend to, if he ignored the hearts that were there. Still, this was nice of her. He could admit that. So, grabbing a blue piece of parchment, the Slytherin got to making one for her as well. On it, he drew an eagle to symbolise her Ravenclawness. He didn't know how this was meant to symbolise Valentine's Day buuuuuuuut that wasn't something the fourth year particularly cared about. The eagle was given a blue and bronze scarf and a fancy hat too. He tried to add in a bunch of jasmines in the corner but, since he didn't know what jasmines looked like, the drawing looked more like a random bouquet of flowers. But they were white. No red roses because he wasn't a freaking loony. He also added in the following text in a darker shade of blue: Quote:
Getting up, the fourth year headed over towards Jasmine. "Hey! I made a card for you, too. Have a good day!" See? He could be nice. Sometimes. |
Post #6 :: Beverly Wayne, Leo (Grayson) It was probably just coincidence that Beverly had chosen a certain Slytherin boy to give a card to, but knowing her, nothing ever was a coincidence. Mainly because she didn't believe in them. So when she had finished the third card -- which consisted of a cool-looking green snake with silver patterns -- she sauntered over to the boy she had assaulted during Opening Feast. Beverly tugged lightly on his sleeve and held out the card to him. Hopefully he didn't think she was trying to steal his shirt this time. Scratch that. Hopefully he would. His reaction would probably amuse her. "You're a Taurus, here." Take it. "Happy--" Also, he should appreciate the text. Quote:

Post 11-Jasmine, Taurus..........Thanking Grayson SPOILER!!: Grayson Jasmine had finally taken a seat back at her table and before she knew it, she had a surprise visitor. Grayson had come over with a card for her. "Awwww! Thank you Grayson." Jasmine looked at he card and smiled at him. He had really put a lot if work into it. "I love my Ravenclaw valentine. That was so nice of you and yes, I could tell those were Jasmines." Jasmine said, "You have a good day too, as Grayson walked away. This class was just getting better and better. |
Post 12? Cristoffer Strand, Virgo Thanking Beverly SPOILER!!: Beverly Cris' brows raised in surprise when he felt someone poke him in the arm. Turning around, he was even more surprised to see it was a Slytherin. He had seen her a couple of times in other classes too, but he never had the opportunity to say hello to her. "Oh....um...thanks a lot. That's really nice of you....um...Beverly," Cris quickly glanced down at the card to see what her name was. Then he studied what she had written and blushed. She thought he was smart. Now THAT was very nice of her to say. |
Cassia-Cancer. Post #4 (receiving cards) She was too busy thinking about whom she wanted to give cards to that she sort of forgot that she would be receiving those as well. It seemed that Mo, too, had been working on a card for her. A huge smile pulled at her lips reading what he'd written. It was cheesy enough and she liked a lot! Setting aside on her desk, the snake started working on another card. She had one person in mind, though she still wasn't one hundred percent sure of there birth sign. That's why she started doodling and decorating the card before starting with words. Then she heard someone say her name and looked up to see Ethan who'd made a card for her. Smiling at the younger snake, Cassia accepted it. The second her eyes landed on the card, her smile got even bigger than earlier. "This is so beautiful, thanks Ethan," She beamed at the third year. He turned out to have a whole lot of talents than she thought. Her Slytherin boys never ceased to surprise her. |
post 7-Simon Holden, Gemini - thank you's SPOILER!!: Zander Simon had set to work, making a new card for a Cancer when Zander tapped his shoulder. "Hey Zander!" said Simon, greeting his friend excitedly. And before Simon could ask how his friend was going, Zander gave him a card. He glanced at the card and chuckled. It was amazing. There was Super Simon and Zanderman there to save the world. It also had glitter on it. "This is awesome! Thanks Zanderman!" Now he needed to make Zander a super card anyway. What was Zander's zodiac sign? Capricorn. Simon frowned. Man! He had wanted to make his buddy a card. He'd make one for him and give it to him later. SPOILER!!: Jasmine Jasmine was really, really sweet. See Simon, girls weren't terrifying. He gave her a shy grin after he heard that he liked it and tried his hardest not to blush. "It's nice to meet you too," he said. "Thanks! I'm.. I'm glad you liked it." Then he went back over to his table to work on another card before he made a silly fool of himself. SPOILER!!: Grayson<3 Simon nodded and lowered his voice so only Grayson could here. "Tell me about it. It's overwhelming," he said. He couldn't wait to get into a different room or corridor that had different colours to pink. Pink was infectious. And Valentine's day was terrifying (but he was surviving). Then Grayson gave Simon a card! Seriously, this guy's so cool! thought Simon to himself. He grinned and read the card. He loved that there was a picture of him riding a dragon on there. That was just EPIC. "This card is awesome. You've nailed my favourite magical creature. I love dragons," he said, giving Grayson a thumb's up. Oh yes, he wanted to be mates with Grayson. Simon picked up a crayon and was about to start making a card for Cassia when Grayson asked him about the riddle. Was the answer poison? He blinked for a second. The answer wasn't the one that the book he had read said, but he liked Grayson's answer. It was fascinating. Oh, it could be poison. "Poison would be a really good answer- I didn't think of that one. I was thinking perhaps counterfeit money. But either one of the answers works," he said. Yay, weren't riddles fun yet annoyingly frustrating at the same time? Then Simon went back to make a card for Cassia. He paused. What did the Head Girl even like? He went for a simple option, writing her name out in cursive on the front. That looks good. He picked up his crayon and was about to write a message when he stopped. What could he say? |
#6 - Agatha, Leo Agatha was about to start making another card when someone else spoke to her. She looked up to see it was Beverly! And she was giving her a card too! In a complete different mood, Agatha got another piece of parchment and started working on another Valentine Day's card. She chose some darker colours this time and worked on her second card. Quote:

Post #7; Grayson: Taurus Text Cut: Jasmine This one had manners, that was something to be noted. Uh huh. Grayson even smiled back at her and said, "You're welcome, Jasmine." And it was a good thing that she liked it too. Why wouldn't she? He had made it. And it was a good thing that she could tell that those were jasmines in the corner. His artistic skills weren't great but he liked to think that they were certainly good enough. He was still smiling and even gave her a wave as he plopped down on his seat again. Jeez, was he turning nice? Ugh. Text Cut: Beverly Oh? Another admirer? Grayson looked up to see who was tugging on his sleeve when his eyes.............. ........... landed on.............. ..................... her. The girl who had oh-so-casually used his robes as a shield and then went on to tell him off when he asked her why. Psh. Weird one, this one was. But a card was a card and so, he even smiled at her too. Thank Merlin that this was a green and silver card because if it had been pink, he was pretty sure that nothing could have stopped the look of disgust from spreading across his face. But this one mentioned something about him being a shield. SNORT. Good. She remembered too. ANYWAYS. This girl. Beverly Wayne, according to the card. "Thanks for the card, Wayne," And so, the decoration commenced. He was still keeping as far away from the pinks and the glitter as he could and he wasn't going to stop now. Instead, Grayson picked up a silver-grey card and started decorating it. On it, there were two serpents: an epic-looking male one that was holding up a shield -- he added in teeny tiny arms, mkay? -- and a female one that was looking pretty cool too. Uh huh. He even gave her a small crown for the sake of it. Quote:
Text Cut: Simon It WAS overwhelming! Jeez, Grayson was immensely relieved that someone understood that. He nodded in agreement but said nothing more, just in case Professor Cassie decided to drop by. Besides, they had more important matters to discuss. Like............. ................. DRAGONS! His eyes might have lit up at Simon's words. "Dragons are freaking amazing! Good choice on a favourite creature." It was. It really really was. And Grayson highly approved of it too, could the fellow Slytherin tell? Because dragons! HELLO?! He still wanted to see one. Uh huh. From a safe distance so that he could save his hindquarters. Oh? Counterfeit money? The fourteen year old paused, his eyebrows furrowing slightly. Counterfeit money. Oh jeez, that did fit well, didn't it? "I didn't think of counterfeit money either, so," He shrugged. "That was a hard riddle. Very challenging." Nod. Good on you, Simon. |
Working on her own card as she sat at an empty table, Cassie continued to look up and watch around the room. It was wonderful seeing all the students giving each other Valentine's Cards. A day to spread love even if you aren't that close. It was amazing and she hoped they all agreed too. Finishing her card for a person in her sign she charmed it and let it fly out of the room to it's owner. Standing she snapped happily towards the class as she made her way to the front of the room. "Alright everyone. Take a seat for a few moments. We're almost done!" Sadly they were, she hadn't to be done with the lesson already, but they'd be back soon. "I want you to make sure you take your birth charts with you. It could really help you learn more about yourself. Use your books as reference if need be. I hope you had a fun time learning today and I hope that you learned more about your compatible matches. I would love if you were able to make one more friend today with our little activity." and since they were finding people with their compatible matches, of course they'd be friends! Flicking her wrist with her wand little cards went to each of their seats. [b] "Before you go I just wanted to make sure you all got a Valentine's Day card from me! Have a great rest of the day! Stay warm and grab another cookie on your way out!" SPOILER!!: Little Red Card OOC: That's it, class is over! Thank you all so much for joining! You were all so awesome!!! I'll close the thread in a few hours!! |
Text Cut: Grayson XD Beverly observed him carefully and no, it didn't happen. No epic: Don't steal my shirt! sort of freak out. But it wasn't so baaad. He smiled which meant he liked her card, which meant -- as always -- she was awesome at drawing. "You're welcome, Whitlock," she said with that little smile of hers that was a balance between a smirk and a smile. She'd seen his name on the parchment, so she didn't have to re-name him like she had the habit to. Grayson would have been Robe Boy or Shield Guy. One of those. She had not, though, expected a card in return. Beverly did her best to stifle a grin at the snake with arms and a shield and the cool-looking one with a crown. The latter was her, she knew it 'cause she was cool and she SHOULD be royalty. Good thing Grayson recognized that. And the text. Merlin, the text! He labeled himself as HER bodyguard. Ahaha! This was the best, it truly was. She'd have to ask him what his favorite flavor was. Hmm...vomit? No. Earwax? He didn't seem like the earwax kind of dude. Nah, she'll ask him some time. "Thanks, Whitlock," she called after. Good thing he didn't use pinks or glitters because then the poor card would have ended in the rubbish bin. |
Cris was about to make his next Valentine's Day card when Professor Morgan announced that class was over. He had to admit that this class had been a unique one. Picking up the cards he had been given, Cris placed them neatly in between the pages of his journal before placing it in his backpack. He glanced down at his birth chart, shook his head again when he read what his supposed inner and outer traits. Now that was something he would have to mull over. But for now, it was time to pack up and leave. Placing the birth chart into his textbook, Cris picked up his backpack and made his way over to the Divination Professor. "I can't say I agree with what I've discovered in my birth chart, Professor but I do have to admit that it was very enlightening. Thank you for teaching it to us. May the rest of your day be a good one and Happy Valentine's Day again to you, Professor," Cris thanked and wished the Professor, before stepping aside to wait for Jasmine He wanted to see her reaction when she opened his Valentine's Day gift to her. |
Cris Class was over already? Jasmine was on a roll. She wasn't ready for it to end yet, but what could she do? Walking over to the Professor, she said, "Thank you for the lovely card Professor Cassie". "I really enjoyed today's lesson. I hope you have a wonderful Valentine's Day." Jasmine made her way back over to Cris. After carefully packing her cards and her birth chart, she pulled a rectangular shaped present from her book bag. She handed it to Cris and said, "Happy Valentine's Day" It was a copy of "From Egg to Inferno: A Dragon Keeper's Guide. that happened to be signed by the author. Jasmine knew that Cris dreamed of becoming a dragonologist one day. She hoped that he would enjoy reading the book. Then Jasmine took out the small box that Cris had given her and asked, "Do you want me to open it here?". |
SPOILER!!: Cassia Ethan did a little victory dance. Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle. He was very happy that Cassia liked his card. He thought it to be awesome because...well, the memory was kinda funny albeit short, and here was Cassia giving him a smile and thanking him for it. "You're welcome!" After one last wiggle, he returned to his seat because... Hey they're being dismissed! SPOILER!!: Professor Cassie As the professor spoke, Ethan continued to pack his things, and neatly folded his birth chart and slipped it in between the pages of his Divination book. Sadly, he didn't make any new friends today because...well he knows most of them already. If they had more time though, he'd make more cards for those he didn't know. While sitting, he slung his satchel's strap across his chest and waited for Simon to finish. That's when he got his own card from Professor Cassie. Curious, he got it from his table and read the card. ... Somehow her message had an impact. You are important just because you are you. Ethan wanted to contest that. Really? Well apparently, to his real father, that isn't the case. If he was important, they wouldn't be like this at all. Ethan stared at the card for a few more seconds and silently folded it again and kept it inside his satchel. Merlin. What a way to end this class, really. Simon? Let's go buddy. |
Over? That's a relief. Zander was starting to get all itchy and uncomfortable again. At least one good thing came out of this? He made a new friend... Sort of... Well he met someone new anyways. Either way, this big pinky, glittery mess was way too much for the Gryffindor. Stuffing the red card into his pocket he almost made a run for it. Almost. "Bye Professor." Then he waved goodbye at his two Slytherin men. Thank merlin they were there. It made this lesson bearable. Even though it turned out to be not that bad. You know, after getting some nice cards and all of that. |
Jasmine SPOILER!!: Jasmine They were still standing outside the Divination classroom! Cris glanced over at the Professor and the other students making their way out of the room. Smiling, he took the rectangular shaped present Jasmine was holding out to him. "Thank you for this," Cris gestured to the present he was holding in his hand. "Would you like to head down to the Room and we can both open up our presents at the same time?" Cris suggested, his eyes darting to the people behind her, trying to signal to her that he much preferred some privacy right about now. |
Cris SPOILER!!: cris Jasmine was grateful for Cris' suggestion to move to the Room of Requirement for present opening. It was way too crowded and public at their current venue. "You are welcome and yes, I would like to go to the Room of Requirement. Shall we go?" With that, Jasmine and Cris left the Divination area and headed down the hall. |
As she stood by the door Cassie gave little waves and said goodbye to all the students. It had been a great day and she loved seeing everyone get a card for Valentine's Day. Her green eyes scanned the room as she walked towards the back. "I knew you'd come in here." Scooping up the small cat from under a table she turned and using her wand cleaned up the room. Once it was clean she headed out towards her office, closing and locking the classroom behind her. |
