Post 8 - Ian, Cancer Response to Agatha and card to Lucy SPOILER!!: Hey Ju;11630572 After Ian had made it 'safely' back to his seat, he glanced back at the Agatha girl. He noticed her look in his direction with what appeared to be a suspicious look. He wasn't sure that she liked the card, but maybe when she was having a tough day, she'd 'appreciate' someone taking a moment out of their day to do something nice for her. He got back to finishing up Lucy's card and stood up and walked to her desk. He felt a little more confident about it and so when he got the her, he thrust the card in her direction and said You've got a compatible sign, so here's a card I made for you. I hope you like it. Having finished with that, he dropped the card in front of her and smiled kind of goofily before heading back to his desk with a greeting of Happy Valentine's Day called over his shoulder. |
Lex, Gemini - Post 5- N'AAAAWWWWWWW KEVIN!!!! *SQUISHES* Quote:
Thwack. What the kneazle? Lex twisted, wondering what might have just collided with her skull and found some crumpled paper on the floor. Of all things, paper? She already had enough of that thanks and wouldn't be using much more. Reaching down she nicked it from the floor and uncrumpled it. Meh, another Valentine card. Was this class almost over? Her eyes scanned the page and the scowl slowly got rid of itself. She had to admit...this was kinda cute--kinda. This was still Kevin they were talking about. "A heads up would have been nice. I nearly hexed your face off just now." Throwing things like that when Lex had GOOD quidditch reflexes. Not the best idea. "Thanks though." The card was decent so she could be decent. See how that worked? |
Post 6 - Ethan, Libra - Card to Lex Doodle doodle doodle. Ethan hoped Lex would LOVE the glitters. Girls like…sparkly stuff, yeah? Besides, Lex looked like she needed something to smile about since…well, she doesn’t look to happy right now. And…what does she mean she doesn’t want to have a boyfriend? She doesn’t like to have boys as friends? The third year paused, looked at her then back to his card. Well, she was really cool back when they were building Kirby’s hut extension, and he really liked the prefect. Her attitude’s awesome! Maybe…giving her a card is a mistake? Well…here’s hoping she’d be kind enough not to let this boy see his masterpiece thrown away. She can of course, but not just in front of him hmmkay? Be kind, Lex. Sighing, and wishing he’s not making a mistake, Ethan came up to Lex and tapped her on the shoulder. “Here’s your card Lex.” Ethan beamed and handed his masterpiece to her. With a salute, he turned around and rushed off to his seat. Tough girls are tough. Mhm. |
Lex, Gemini - Post 6 Ethan's so cute :3 SPOILER!!: Ethan~! Now the question was, did she crumple the card back up, or just set it down with the others she'd gotten? He was the one who'd crushed it before tossing it at her. Surely he wouldn't be too offended if she decided to put it the way she'd gotten it. But no, it was already sorta straightened now, so she'd leave it that way. The tapping at her shoulder drew her attention from the unconventional Gryffindor that was Kevin. Hmmm? Oh! Ethan! She liked this one. Full of energy and smiles he was. Seemed like a real go getter...too....a card? Another one? Please don't have a deformed donkey on it. She could only lie so many times you know? "Gee thanks!" She said, taking the card and giving him a grin before taking an actual look at it. Hey this was actually pretty good. "It's nea--" But he was already hurrying back to his seat? Umm.....okay. She'd just...tell him later then.... Weird kid. Didn't people usually stick around to hear about their work first? |
Post 10, Cristoffer Strand, Virgo. Dawwww...Ethan and Jasmine Cris was trying to see who else he could make a card for when Ethan came up to him giving him a card. Cris opened it and smiled. "This card's awesome, Ethan. I like the way you have me with my scarf on. Thank you so much. For the card and what you said," Cris stuck out his hand and shook Ethan's. He now had two awesome Valentine's Day cards...and wait, Jasmine was handing him one too. Cris gave her a smile, the love he felt for her, shining brightly in his eyes. He opened the card and read what she had written inside, and then looked up at her. "I know we will have many more too. Thank you for this card. I'll treasure it always," Cris squeezed Jasmine's hand with his, quickly releasing it, when he belatedly realized where they were. So he just continued to smile goofily at her. |
Sophie: Pisces; Post #3 - Receiving a card from Lex Text Cut: DaniDiNardo Okay, so the new Slytherin Hottie was a Capricorn, and Sophie didn't have that one listed, so a card for Hottie was out. Darn. Now she'd have to find some random somewhere. She didn't dare look at Cutty's card. With her luck, he had one of her three signs, and she'd be forced to make him a card. She could see it now: "Dear Cutty, Thanks for allowing me to lie to the prefect's using your name and you didn't even get mad." Heh. So she was still standing by Grayson's card, when she heard her name shouted from across the room. EEP! Sophie quickly dashed away from Grayson's card, accidentally running into somebody else. "Err, sorry." MERLIN. Looking behind her, she saw Lex trying to get her attention. Ohh, she had a card for her! Perfect, because now Sophie didn't have to feel lame if nobody chose her. "Cool, thanks!" she said, accepting the card. She quickly read it over and grinned. "Perfect. Not too serious..." Or serious at all, heh. "...and funny, too. I love it!" |
Angel was really confused about what was going on here, she had totally lost what was going on though she didn't want to get into trouble, she hadn't been feeling well all lesson but well she was going to try and catch up if she could figure out what was going on, she shivered a bit but tried to hide it, she didn't want to see the Professor to see it. |
Sophie: Pisces; Post #4 - Card for Simon! Text Cut: Emms Now that she didn't feel so lame, Sophie strolled around the room with a bit more confidence. Only a BIT more, though. This handing out Valentine's cards in front of her peers wasn't really her thing. She needed an Aquarius, Gemini, or Pisces to hand a card to. Looking around, though, she couldn't find any. Was EVERYBODY a Capricorn?! Merlin... Finally, she spotted some guy with GEMINI on his sign. Ohh, heyyy, random guy! Quickly, Sophie set to work making him a card. Hey! I don't know you, but you DO belong to the best house ever, so that makes you cool. Have a great day! - Sophie Newell "Hey, YOU!" Sophie called out, flagging him down. "I'm Sophie Newell, and you're a Gemini, so here ya go." Heh. |
Post 9 - Ian, Cancer offers to help Angel Quote:
Hey there. You look a little cold. Anything I can do to help? |

Post 10 - Ian, Cancer More help for Angel Quote:
After he poured her a cup of tea, he looked at her. Did you figure out who you would make a card for? |
Prof Glendower - Pisces - card for Alexa Okay.. she had done these signs before, but as Nessa was not the divination expert that Cassie was, it sometimes slipped her mind. But that's what her best friend was for! And part of the reason why she was sitting in on today's class.. for a refresher and to have a little fun. So looking at the chart she had drawn, she could tell that her sun was in Pisces, her Venus was in Pisces, and her Mars was in Gemini. So she would be compatible with another Pisces or Gemini. Though.. she wasn't sure she should do a card for a student. Would that be inappropriate? She'd have to look over that parchment Cassie gave her again and pick a professor from there to deliver a card later. But she still wanted to participate in the activity and maybe she could even do a couple cards of encouragement in the spirit of the day.. students could always use that! So Nessa set about making a blinged up sign for her seat, complete with sparkly glitter of course. And she was a Pisces. Alright..now for a card or two. She knew Cassie said one, but the students were really jumping into making several, which was just the sweetest thought. Maybe she should do a few as well. Nessa started to make a few blank ones with crayons and glitter while she nibbled on a cookie. Now to look around for a Pisces or Gemini to add a personalized message! She craned her neck and looked around the room a bit in search of a sign with one of those signs. Oh, lookie! Alexa was a Gemini! She set about personalizing one for her that said 'Dear Alexa, You are a talented performer and a bright student. Good luck in all you do! Your History of Magic teacher, Professor Glendower' Getting up from her seat, she made her way over to the prefect before dropping it off at her table. "I have a card for a Gemini!" Now.. who else to make one for? She headed back to her seat glancing at the signs on her way there. |

Post 3 - Emmylou, Pisces || Giving Simon his card. Emmylou put the finishing touches on her colorfullish card that she was making for Simon but she needed something to put on the card besides 'HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY' and giving him a small bag of muggle jellybeans, there needed to be something else. Then out of nowhere Emmylou knew just what to put on the card. She wrote the words down in purple and her name in with a white crayon. |
Post 8-Jasmine, Taurus........Card for Kevin Having finished her required cards and her extra special one, Jasmine looked around to see if anyone hadn't gotten a card. No one should be left out, that would be bad. Seeing someone who appeared to be cardless, Jasmine began to work on a card for him. She didn't see Kevin as a glitzy, sparlkly kind of guy so again she kept it simple. SPOILER!!: Kevin's card Satisfied with her work, Jasmine walked over to |
Post 4 - Emmylou, Pisces || Making a card for Glendower After the third year gave Simon his card she began working on another card. She was going to make Kace a card but she'll save his card to make for last. Emmylou grabbed some more paper and began to get to work on Professor Glendower's card because they were both Pisces she it worked out and the History of Magic professor was super nice and Emmylou loves people that are nice and friendly. |
Post 3 to Ian Quote:
She has had in her pocket some others cards and so she would going to give him a really nice one..She said:" Thank you very much for your wonderful poem! I'm very pleased and surprise..This is my Valentine's card for you! Happy Valentine's day!" |
Post #2; Taurus Text Cut: Professor Cassie! <3 Trouble? Grayson looked up at the Professor. Oh jeez. He was the kid who hadn't been presented with a card yet. Where were the admirers? Where were the bundles of cards filled with words of adorable for him? He wasn't going to wait all day, you know. "Er, you could say that, yeah." He wasn't going to admit that he was the one doing the waiting and he also wasn't going to mention how much he hated all the pink in the room. "I'll probably have to be brave and look around for myself. Someone has to make the first move, right?" Oh jeez, that sounded like he liked somebody and was going to ask them out. Not mentioning that either. He was, however, going to take one of those cookies. Uh huh. "Thanks for these, Professor. They're brilliant!" Nom nom. Text Cut: Soph and Lex! Grayson hardly even saw Sophie there. Didn't even know that she was there because the fourteen year old had decided to pull a piece of parchment closer towards him and start making a card. Of course, he didn't know who he was going to give this card to just yet buuuuuuuuuuut he HAD seen a couple of Capricorn cards here and there. He'd just add in the name later. Right now, he was designing to the best of his abilities. Was. Why? Alexa Cambridge called for Newell and................ Grayson looked up. Sophie was here? Yes. And running away, too. Er? Why? What was that all about? Girls were so freaking weird. Text Cut: Ethan! Half smirking and half smiling, Grayson shook his head and turned his attention back towards his piece of parchment. Right. He needed to get a move on with this. The only thing left was adding in a name and a message that fitted so, picking up a red crayon -- the pink ones were conveniently left to one side along with the glitter -- the boy started looking around the classroom when.......... ........................... oh? Ethan. 'Sup! And a CARD! Freaking YES! He KNEW he was going to get one soon enough! "'Sup, Snowstorm Man, Ethan!" He even smiled at the boy as he took the card. "Thanks for the--" Oh jeez. It was pink. Pink and GLITTERY and it had the word SNAPS in there. Hex him. Hex him now. His first Valentine's Day card and it had to be one with three things he hated. Thank you very much, Ethan. Even the clouds looked happy! And, upon closer inspection, were those leaves?! SNORT. LEAVES and not SNOW. Yeahhhhh, he was laughing. Why? Leaves. LOL. It brought back memories of their Transfiguration lesson. "Thanks for this!" he said, waving the card in the air. See? Not so much of a sourpuss. Not really. And now he needed to make a card for the Slytherin too. And he knew exactly what he was going to include in there. |
Post 11 - Ian, Cancer Angel and Lucy Quote:
SPOILER!!: Lucy Ian looked up as Lucy approached. Oy! You're very welcome. I've not met a lot of the firsties this year and I thought it would be a fun way to meet a few more. He smiled as she gave him a card. That's rather sweet of you. Have you been enjoying the class so far? He was having a really fine time. It suited his personality to make little things for people. It made him feel like he was doing something nice. It was something his mum had taught him as she'd go about the village handing out biscuits and kippers to families they lived around. |
Post 5 - Emmylou, Pisces || Giving Professor Glendower her card. Emmylou decided that some blueish colored flower things and some light orange hearts would look really nice together. She always thought that blue and orange looked good together. She knew that they weren't Valentine's Day colors but who the heck cared. Emmylou wanted to be different. The third year wrote down what she wanted to say in a whiteish colored crayon and then she took out a bright reed crayon and used it to write 'Happy Valentine's Day!' in all capitals. She picked up the white crayon and signed her name on it. |

I hope this is the first of many opportunities to spend together See you soon! |
Post 7 - Ethan, Libra - Card to Zander SPOILER!!: Cris! Ethan returned the handshake. “No worries, Cris! You’re awesome.” Really, he’d probably come out of Durmstrang with a loose screw inside his head if it wasn’t for Cris helping him out. No wonder he ended up in Hufflepuff. The house fits him well. Yup! SPOILER!!: Grayson! XD From his seat, he gave Grayson a salute and a grin to acknowledge. He liked it! Wait…what? GRAYSON WHITLOCK LIKED HIS CARD? What…happened? He hates…pink…and glitters…and snaps. Ethan tilted his head in confusion. Does that mean that he will have to start giving the Cloud Master pink AND glittery stuff in the future? *** ….he’s had enough of the cookies already, and that he’s done with the task. He still didn’t want to leave the tower though, because it was warm in there. Going back to the halls and all the way to the dungeons would be such a task without casting the hot air charm all the time. So…what to do? Well, the supply of glitters, and coloured parchment doesn’t seem to be thinning, and this made the boy go and make more cards. Well, he’d rather do this instead of heading back to their common room to do his pending homework. Now. Who else needs a card? Ethan scanned the room and his eyes fell on Zander. He already made one for Simon…and Grayson. Maybe he should do one for the boy. Y’know…to make him feel that he’s one of his bros. Doodle, doodle, doodle. It didn’t take long for the boy to make this one, because he decided not to use the glitter thing anymore. He’d reserve those for other kids. Kids that hated them. Hehehehe. Standing up for the nth time, he went towards Zander and tapped his shoulder with his card. Tap. Tap. Tap. “Card for you, kind sir.” Beam. See? He’s a good Slytherin. SPOILER!!: Lex! While waiting for Zander’s reaction, he caught sight of Lex and he was glad that she didn’t throw his card away. Did she…like it? There was only one way to find out! Excusing himself from Zander, he approached the prefect. Wave. “Hi Lex! How was the card? Did you like it?” he asked gesturing towards the card he made. It’s still intact, which is good! Although, you know…maybe Lex was just being kind not to throw it away in front of him. But then again…she’s a Gemini. They ought to be compatible…in a platonic way of course. |

Post 12 - Ian, Cancer Lucy and Angel Quote:
SPOILER!!: Angel He nodded. That should help out some. I suppose you and your sisters all have the same chart. I can't imagine you'd all have different compatibilities if you were born around the same time. Perhaps you could find out what AJ's chart says and then you could make a card for someone with the same things. AJ gave me a card earlier, so perhaps Cancer is one of your compatible signs. Anyways. After you determine the signs your sun, venus and mars are under, you make a card to give to someone. I've given out a few. I like to draw little pictures and make up poems. I gave one to a Slytherin girl, but I'm not sure she liked it. I don't really think she likes todays class either, but it was fun to make. Then I made a card for Adi, too. He's my mate, so I thought it would be cool. I put a nice little quidditch scene on front. He poured himself a cup of tea and smiled at Angel and asked Did that help any? |
#3 - Agatha, Leo That.... Ian Hufflepuff boy was looking back at her. SEE! He DID want something. Was he expecting a card back? Well, she didn't even KNOW him, why would she make him a card? But then again, maybe that was what Hufflepuffs did. Agatha did see random yellow people being nice in general anyway, so maybe that was to be expected. Whatever. She wasn't making him a card simply because she didn't know him. That wasn't rude or anything, right? Of course not. Then she overheard that Sophie Newell - ugh - saying something to another kid about giving them a card because they were Gemini. Was that how it was supposed to go? They should give cards to people who were the same sign as them? Huh.... strange. But she supposed it made sense, why else would they have to have written their signs on that piece of parchment to begin with. Uuurgh! That meant she would have to find someone else to give her card to. Surely Simon and Beverly weren-- OH, BEVERLY WAS A LEO TOO! YES!!! A lot more relieved, Agatha turned once again to work on her card, now knowing who was going to receive it. Thank Merlin it was someone she knew and was her friend. |
