Dervish and Banges is a small, dusky little outlet located at the end of the street in Hogsmeade. Squatting between a few wooden pillars painted to look like marble, the green and gold building seems to be more of a remodeled mausoleum than a Wizarding place of business. As you enter the hideous, peeling green door and inhale the thick scent of sawdust and mildew, you'll likely question whether or not the shop actually was a mausoleum at some point.
Squeaky floorboards, musty smells, and creepy feelings aside, the place may appear to be in an eternal state of decay, but the sagging shelves stocked full of shiny, brand or like-new knickknacks say otherwise. The shop sells both new and reconditioned items of both the Wizard and Muggle variety, such as...
Do-It-Yourself Cauldron Repair Kits (or for a fee, D&B will do it for you!)
Take your time, walk around, pick up one of the coupons off the back counter, and try to not be intimidated by that looming shopkeeper just behind it at the back. He doesn't talk much, but he's got it where it counts, kid. Oh, and don't steal anything. Roundhouse kicks to the face are not fun....for you.

Nooo...." he looked around in panic. Was there anyone else in this shop? Anyone, actually untrustworthy!? As far as Zander could see, they were the only two students in there...
"Have YOU done something wrong?" This kid is preeeetty sketch. Mhm.

Yeah he was gonna ask..."Do you know Emmylou Duchannes?" he asked curiously. "She is in the same house and year as you." He said justifying his question. "Yeah I am a fourth year hufflepuff. So we are at the same school." he shrugged.
He chuckled at his reaction and said, "I am just kidding with ya.." He couldn't stop laughing. But then his question got him off guard. "Well I mean I did ditch my parents and sister to go on my own.." he shrugged. I guess that was untrustworthy right?

Zander raised an eyebrow... Well it wasn't a very big school... And she was in his house and year. So duh, he knew of her. Well okay, it was a fair question. Emmylou? She was the one that shared her twizzlers! So yes, Zander did actually know her. Or, of her. Considering the two had only really interacted once. "Yeah... I do. She's really sweet," he answered almost a little skeptically. Why did this guy ask specifically about Emmylou? "Is she the only other third year Gryffindor you know?" Hmm? Why wouldn't he ask about the others, huh? Were there hidden intentions.
Ah, so he was a fourth year hufflepuff. Did he know-- Actually. This kid is the only fourth year hufflepuff that Zander had ever talked to... So yes, nevermind. Actually come to think of it, Zander hadn't really interacted with many hufflepuffs yet. Just Lux. And Cris too. But that was it. What? This did not make any sense. He had a few Slytherin friends, some Ravenclaws, A TON of Gryffindors, but only two in hufflepuff. HM. Interesting.
Mhmm, back to the fourth year guy. Zander nodded his head and let out a small chuckle too. Only his was fake. Because the situation actually wasn't that funny. This kid was just a bit creepy... He'd play along though... "Ha ha ha, I knew that... I was, uh, totally kidding too," kind of. But not really. This kid is sketch. Got his eyes on you, fourth year of Hufflepuff house. Was he even ACTUALLY in Hufflepuff? Did he even ACTUALLY go to Hogwarts? What if he was actually lying this whole time HMM? Zander had never spoken to him before now. And they aren't even in the school. SO VERY LIKELY STORY, FOURTH YEAR OF HUFFLEPUFF HOUSE. Like to see YOU tell that same one under the effect of a truth serum. HA. "Hmmm, very interesting," the third year replied and promptly took a few steps backward. Must keep safe from this sketchy kid. Constant vigilance!
